Victoria saw his excitement and she laughed. "Yes, I see it. I wonder what event?" She bit her lip as she looked at him with anxiousness of her own.

The bus pulled to a stop in front of the zoo. Dante lead Victoria off the bus and as they passed Mr. Jones he did a friendly nod. "I'll see ya around Mr. J" Dante said as they stepped off of the bus. He stopped for Victoria, saying, "This day is going to be great. I think you're going to enjoy it."

Victoria smiled up at him. "I already am." She told truthfully. She went up to the gate, almost losing Dante in the crowds of people. When she got up to the ticket person she pulled out her five dollar bill. The lady shook her head and said that wouldn't be enough to cover her ticket. Victoria looked at Dante, trying not to cry. "You can go. I do not have enough to go in," She murmured sadly, and put the money back under her foot.

Dante looked at Victoria and put his hand over her money. "When I asked where you wanted to go, I didn't ask for you to pay. It's my treat." he smiled at Victoria as he gave the woman a twenty and a five. The woman tried to give him the three dollars that she owed him. "Put it in the donation box." He put his arm around Victoria's shoulders and they entered the zoo. "So where do you want to go first?" he said as he handed her the map.

Victoria took the map without another word, but not until she kissed him lightly on the cheek. He's so sweet, she thought for what might of been the tenth time that day. Trying not to blush, she glanced down at the map and stared up at the pathways. Her grin became huge. "Lion's and tigers and bears, oh my!" She pretended to faint, and caught herself before she fell down. She grinned and stared at Dante now, wondering what he would think about the idea.

Dante was a little surprised by what she had just done. Looks like I did something good today. he thought as he watched Victoria. Dante shook his head and laughed while smiling. "I didn't know that this was the Wizard of Oz." He gazed into Victoria's eyes and felt something unusual. Something that caused the relationships that Dante hated the most: affection. He just met her today and he already was taking a liking to her. After what seemed like forever, Dante finally asked her, "What first? I'll let you choose what we see today."

Victoria noticed him staring into her own eyes for the longest time, and she finally looked away, blushing. "Um, right then. About what I want to see..hmmm." She glanced down at the map again and finally getting an idea, she put it back in his hands, and smiled. "I take a liking to the reptiles. Onward!" She pointed to the right passageway, and looked over her shoulder to grin at him. She figured it was better to be silly then sad, but she also didn't want to act like a fool in front of him either, so she put her finger down and started walking that way like a normal person would do.

Dante followed Victoria and was eventually walking next to her. As he was walking he had to avoid the crowd of people that suddenly swarmed around them. "Look at all the people. It must be a popular day to go to the zoo." he said before pausing. "So what's your fondest memory of the zoo? Anything that stands out from the rest of em?" he glanced at her before putting the map in his pocket.

Victoria pushed through the crowd, and continued on her way to the reptile house. She thought for a moment and came up empty. "No." She shrugged. "I don't get to come out here often..because I.." She didn't bother to finish and instead glanced down at the ground, watching her feet move to carry her weight. "I just don't come here often." She whispered, and then smiled when she heard the sounds of birds in the trees above them. "Happy little creatures aren't they?" She murmured, half talking to Dante and half talking to herself. Her head followed slowly as she watched a crow land on a high branch above their heads. They were wild birds, but beautiful.

"Well maybe this can become the first?" he smiled a little before he was nudged in the shoulder. He looked at the guy, "Watch where you're going!" The guy just glared at him as he walked away. "Is there a problem!" he semi-yelled as he stopped. The man looked intimidated as he started to speed walk in the opposite direction. While looking at Victoria he told her "Sorry about that." Dante got the look of a child who was being scolded by his mother. All he could do was apologize to her and look down at his feet. He looked back up and saw the reptile house in sight.

She nodded and smiled at him. She watched their argument in silence, and looked at Dante when they were finished. "It's alright." She touched his arm lightly to show that she meant it, and looked up to see the reptile house in her line of vision. Full of joy and excitement, she raced up to the doors and slowly went inside, immediately starting to look at all of the creatures.

Look at those damn snakes, Dante thought as he walked through the door. If there is one thing that Dante is deathly afraid of, it would have to be snakes. When he turned the corner to find Victoria, his heart dropped to his feet and felt uncontrollable chills. Staring right back at him was a very large python behind a glass wall. He slowly made his way to Victoria as he tried not to look at any of the exhibits, since they were full of snakes. "L-look at those things." he said as he turned his head every two seconds. He was trying to avoid looking into one exhibit so he could prevent himself from an anxiety attack. By now he had a cold sweat and his hand began to shake a little bit.

Aria and Kara made it to Aria's house about and hour later. Luckily they hadn't run into any unwanted guest and Aria's parents weren't at home. That would save her from having to explain why a sick friend was sleeping on their couch. She waltzed into the kitchen and grabbed a glass of water. Even though Kara didn't weigh much, dragging her had taken alot out of Aria. Aria flipped her phone open and found Dante's number. "I wonder if he'll even remember Kara.." She sent him and quick text which read: You'll never guess where I was. I got Kay; she's sleeping on my couch right now. Everything is cool in case you're wondering, I just had to get her, ya know? Anyhow, no need to reply, just letting you know. Seeya around.

Victoria didn't notice his fear of the snakes and she grabbed Dante's hand to pull him over to the biggest exhibit holding the biggest snake: The King Cobra. It's slid its eyes over to the both of them and flicked it's tongue out. She heard his comment and laughed with glee. "I know, aren't they beautiful?" She couldn't remember the time she had been this happy. She pulled him along, still not seeing their hands together, and went over to the big lizard.

When the cobra looked at Dante he nearly died. It was the scariest thing that he has ever come face to face with, even though it was behind glass. They're also scary as hell too! he thought when Victoria said they were beautiful. Dante looked over at Victoria as she pulled him over to the lizard. She looked as if she was a little child at Disney World for the first time. Then he glanced down at their hands and saw that they were together. The fear of the snakes went away and was replaced with warmth in his heart. He didn't mind what was happening right now, and he was actually liking it. They went over to the lizard and Dante thought it was the coolest thing ever. "Now this is much better." he said standing there.
While looking at the lizard, Dante felt his phone vibrate. He took it out to find a text from Aria. He read it and was filled with anger. He didn't show it and continued to be happy, but what Aria just told him made his mind and body fill with rage. With one hand he sent a message back to Aria which read:
Kara as in the one that knows Veto? You didn't run into him did you? Well you must not have if everything is fine. Because if you did I would leave right now to go kill that son of a b***h! After what he did to you and how his little minions killed Alex he needs to pay! Anyways, I understand why you needed to go get her. Remember, I'm behind what you do 100%. Are you going to be home later?
Dante hit the send button, and continued to enjoy his time with Victoria. The happiness came back to his heart and everything was much better.
