Sighing in contentment, Vivian took her old clothes back, quickly changing and not caring the other girl was in the room with her. Turning back around to Vero, she noticed the girl freaking out and, hiding a grin, asked, "What's wrong?"

"My belt." Vero fell to the ground in defeat, going into a form of a black german shepard, with the same tan tail as the night before. Her clothes fell around her, or ripped.

Taking pity on the girl-turned-dog, she spoke up. "Oh! Your belt? I moved it earlier and hung it up in the bedroom so it wouldn't get lost... I didn't think you needed it since it was just laying there earlier. I'm sorry." She hoped the other girl would buy her small story. "I'll go get it for you," Vivian said, turning to leave for the room.

Vero padded behind the girl, really hoping she was telling the truth. She watched Viv grab it and heard the bell ring and stopped mid step and her eyes widened. Damn it!

Holding the collar in front of her, she knelt down in front of the dog. "Vero, why does it change when you do? I noticed it last night, but you were already asleep..."

Vero whimpered and turned her dog head away from Vivian. She couldn't talk as an animal either, only under certain conditions could she.

Displeased by the lack of answer on her companion's part, Vivian shifted to her fennnec form once again. "Now, tell me!" As a sign that she, also, would not take no for an answer, she kept a paw on the collar, moving it closer to herself, ready to shift at a moment's notice to keep it away from its owner.

Vero kept her eyes on the collar as she answered slowly. "It's a sign... of ownership..."

Replying in a tone that signaled obviousness, Vivian said, "Obviously it is. It's a collar. It's what they do."

"You have your secrects, I can have mine!" Vero went at the collar with her teeth.

Hooking the collar with her paw and flipping it backwards, Vivian caught it with her tail and took off out into the main room, diving over the basket of clothing and onto the chair.

Everytime the bell rang Vero twitched. She followed the fox at a slow pace, looking up at her on the chair. "Give it here!"

Smirking as much as a fennec fox was able to, Vivian crouched on the chair, waiting for any movement Vero might make. "Why? Why's it so important?"

"Just give it back please? You wouldn't be able to fathom the power of that trinket!" Vero used her dog form to do a very relistic puppy pout.

Using her tail to dangle the collar back and forth, she gave it a flick and sent the collar flying toward the pouting dog. "Fine. This time, only. I want to know what it does, and that is my intention. I plan on finding out," she said as the collar soared in the air.
