I'm Operative Habu and I write mostly short stories and poems. I have a special fondness for all things humorous and I enjoy making parodies of popular songs. I'm 22 and quite male mrgreen . I think my derive a lot of my writing style from Malcolm X, Ray Bradbury, and other short story writers. Drinking is certainly one of my often achieved goals, otherwise I suppose I'd like to be a published writer someday. Martial arts have been a love of mine for awhile now. Also I enjoy bowling and alcohol.

I'm Jazzeline, I enjoy writing short, humorous articles and short stories. I am a Mass Communications major at my university and a Creative Writing minor. I play on the women's rugby team as the fly half (Sorry for those that don't understand what that is!). I'm a very optimistic and happy person. 4laugh

Hi, my name is: bellasaer. I'm 23 years old and in my fifth year of college (excited to finally graduate in the spring!).
Usually I write prose, but occasionally I'll get the urge to write a poem. Most of my fiction is fantasy, but the kind without races other than the human race. While Tolkien is probably my biggest influence (I dream of writing a world as comprehensive and lifelike as his), my interest lies more toward the realms of steampunk, arcanepunk, and urban fantasy.
When I'm not writing, I like to listen to music, hang out with friends, and crochet. I also enjoy jigsaw puzzles and the occasional handheld Nintendo game.

Hello All! I have been a writer for many moons. lol I would like to start writing a novel, but my niche is poetry. I always have so many ideas all at once, so its hard to organize everything in my mind. I have been published a couple of times. I guess mostly my inspiration comes from life itself. The things around me and things I see on a day to day basis. The are the grounds of my inspiration. I am an observant person with a large vocabulary. ( I used to read the dictionary for fun) Its nice to meet you all and I'm biggrin excited to read all of your work. smile

@Jazzeline: I find it more than amazing that you play rugby. While I do not know what a fly half is, I have seen some rugby matches before and you must be a pretty tough cookie to survive all of that. You have my awe and respect.
@bellasear: I think we all wish we could create a world as amazing and detailed as Tolkien's. I'm unfamiliar with the urban fantasy genre, but I'd love to read anything you write in that area. And congratulations on almost being done with school! *applauds*
@Lady_Kitlily: I have the same sentiments. Would love to write a novel, but can't seem to get myself away from poetry. But it's great that you've been published. I wish you the best of luck with your novel writing.

Hey, I'm Fox and I've been a writer ever since I could first lift a pencil. I'm going on 16 (kinda young, sorry).Ever since I read my first book I always wanted to publish one of my own, but I haven't been able to finish one yet- I always tend to lose interest before I get to the end. Also, I'm not much of a poet, but I'd love to improve. My main style is fantasy and science fiction, but I tend to stray depending on my current ideas. My biggest influences are..well there's too many to count- I have shelves and shelves full of books I love to death. I don't drink (don't think I ever will either, but you never know!) but I spend a lot of my spare time gaming. One weird thing about me is that I'm completely obsessed with post-apocalyptic stories xD

Greeting, fellow drinkers with a shameful writing problem.
I'm A Writing Mule, but my real name is James. Feel free to call me either of those two. I'm a 22 year old student, studying archaeology. For the most part, I write science-fiction. Specifically, hard sci-fi and space operas. From time to time, I'll try my hand at mystery and horror.
My influences include, but are not limited to, Isaac Asimov, Arthur C. Clarke, Ray Bradbury, Alastair Reynolds and Cormac McCarthy.
I aspire to toil beneath a harsh, unforgiving sun, digging through dirt and spending countless hours meticulously analyzing minuscule shards of ancient pottery. Oh, and also to have some of my work published.
When I do have free time, I'm an avid video gamer. I've been playing video games since I could hold a controller. If there are any fellow gamers in the guild, I'm always up for a good discussion or debate. I am madly, madly in love with the Mass Effect series, an epic space opera from Bioware.
One weird thing about me is that after working as a shoe salesman at a sport equipment store for three years, I now judge people I meet by what type of shoes they're wearing.

I Am: Female and 14

My Biggest Influences Are: Christofer Drew, and my boyfriend. (As cliche as the boyfriend thing sounds . .)
I Aspire To: Work in a hair salon, and write poetry on the side.
In My Free Time I: Write poetry, listen to music, paint, dye my hair, cut my hair, and spend looooots of time with Cody and Rachel. (Cody's my boyfriend, Rachel's my bestfriend.)
One Weird Thing About Me Is: I absolutely hate it when people describe others as "hot". I also despise people that use text talk.
