Barth had taken.... way too long, agonizingly long to get ready, but ultimately Christof felt like he had been a good.. friend... to make sure he didn't stand Sin up. Really, though, he had a feeling Calder would be a lot more useful as a wing-man when it came to how to deal with Morrigan. He had only ever really observed the opposite sex at a safe distance, longingly staring and stalking and observing and peeping and, well, most of these things did not involve conversing. Miss Amrita did not count. She was like... a little sister, if the patchwork construction of a boil could comprehend such a thing, and Mistress Riley was... well, just a Master with Off-Limit-Titties. Calder seemed to have all the answers, though, better than Barth's unhelpful shrugs. He scanned for the Kelpie as he lead Miss Morrigan in, her hand in the crook his his larger arm and he felt like his legs were moving on his own as they entered the decorated dance room... well, it wasn't quite as fancy as the Demon Dance, but for that the Igor was relieved. It was a little bit easier to swallow, at least. Still, he couldn't spot Calder. His palms sweaty, corners of his de-stitched mouth twitching anxiously, Christof glanced from his date to the other couples and back again... well... well they all seemed like they were dancing? It would make sense, dancing at a dance. Then... maybe Morrigan wanted to dance? It wasn't like he had ever done it before, but it didn't look THAT hard... just a lot of bobbing around in a silly fashion. His eyes glanced to Morrigan's low-cut dress. He'd like to see her bounce around in a silly fashion. Before she could protest, he whisked over to the sign up sheet, as it seemed like was the custom by his quick observations, and dragged her to the floor... Christof and Morrigan will be dancing like we've never danced before!((And I have permission to godmod Morri in and about until Meeki can post! X) <33 ))

Amrita had spotted Lizzy and Jericho, however her attention was quickly stolen by the mass of student that fell from the ceiling. It took her a moment to realize that the lump on the floor was her 'date', and when she did, she in fact wander over in concern and she really did poke him with her foot. Her wondering if she could possess a demon was cut short when she realized she couldn't even possess a human, so she gave up and tried to wake him up instead.
His sudden return to life was met with a startled cry, which really got louder as he pulled her to the dance floor. Eventually she did stop with the uncomfortable noises and then set to figuring out what he wanted to do now. It seemed there was a dance competition going on, and while she didn't know how to dance, she did know that was no way he could step on her feet. Which was good.
"Ch-Charlie Why?" Amrita whined to him a little bit, wondering what in Halloween possessed him to want to dance with her; but there they were and, after looking at the 'competition', tried to awkwardly dance with the eccentric demon.

The screaming didn't bother Charlie to much as he dragged Amrita to the dance floor and proceeded to 'bust a move' as he'd put it. Or PROBABLY put it.
"Lighten up hard head and dance!~" Charlie had heard that on tv once minus the hard head bit. That was what he called Amrita.

Sin was content enough to sit with Barth, enjoy a plate of food and chat idly, but she was not going to miss out on the dancing. She flashed Barth a quick smile and then stood and pulled him to his feet. "Come on, I at least owe you some dances, don't worry I won't be too vigorous with you." She slowly grinned remembering his dance with Riley after she and Rosc had finished on the dance floor of the demon party. She didn't mind slow and steady, especially not in a dress that was so...flashy.
She walked over and signed herself and Barth up for the dance contest with a flourish. Barthand Sin will be dancing like we've never danced before!

Riley was looking forward to this. As Malodore and Junko stepped onto the dance floor, all thoughts of horrible little gnomes fled and she focused on watching them. She knew neither of them were going to do anything rather spectacular, but-
Oh. Dear. Sweet. Jack.
Riley vaulted off of her perch when she saw Malodore and Junko go down, and despite the fact that she was just as worried about Junko, she of course had her priorities. Forgive her, Junko.
She bent down to the two, and made sure they had fully disentangled before sliding one arm underneath Mal's knees, and resting the other at it's back. With a careful heave, she had picked up Mal in her arms, cradling it gently in her arms. She looked down at Junko, making sure she wasn't hurt, before carrying Mal off of the dance floor.
Yeah, one snarky gnome judge turned to the other as he pointed at Junko and Malodore. They're definitely out.
Riley passed just as they discussed it, and glared viciously at the gnome judge. Shut the sludge up.

In the midst of the auction being a total drag for Bul, he had signed on to groanspring getting ready to call it a night. He didn't want to go after not being bid on- it seemed like a stupid idea to show up without a date, even if there were plenty of ghouls that were going to be there. He couldn't show his face alone anyway after storming off like that. Much to his surprise, a certain living doll offered to go and well... she was a pretty cute ghoul. It wouldn't be a disaster of a night after all! At least... for now.
Bul quickly re-styled his hair and straightened his coat and shirt then burst from his dorm room and took off towards the party. Thank you thank you thank you- Oh but what about Icky? Would he still come to the party?
Standing outside the party doors, bull waited patiently, arms crossed behind his back and swishing his tail back and forth rhythmically. The music was loud and clear- and thumpin.

Junko jumped as Riley suddenly appeared seemingly from nowhere, accepting her head to get herself freed from Malodore and inspecting her sleeves with the utmost care. Oh, good...there was a slight tear but it was one that could be fixed in a way that she could make it unnoticeable. It'd just take a tip or two from her mother. She watched as Riley picked up Malodore bridal style, blinking and tilting her head a bit. Wasn't...that supposed to be the other way around?
She pushed herself back up to her feet before she could bump into any other dancers, hurrying back to her seat and sitting down again with a little sigh. Well, they couldn't say they didn't try! She'd just have to be taught dancing, apparently! Or something.

Israfel's couldn't believe his ears. The little blue stripped earwings perked immediately at the sound of a familiar boil's voice. "Lucien!" Setting the punch down, the Siren glided over to the ghost, wings all a fluff. the feathers of his dress only adding to the effect. The auction had been strange, given Israfel's place but it had been for a good cause. Plus Lucien had let him be free. Arms wrapped around the sylph as Israfel embraced the boil in a hug. "Hey Lucy! You look-" The siren let go and looked down. Oh. Oh he looked very cute. Even without shoes. and..blue ribbons. Aw, now that was a touch of of color! Israfel felt funny for a second. Just a small second.
Then he blushed and let go.
"Um, You look really nice tonight. I like the ribbons." Wings wrapped around Israfel's arms. "And um..I'm still a free bird by the way." Why did he suddenly feel so awkward? Reaching out, Israfel tugged on Lucien's hand. "Um, you..want to dance? I'd like to."

Barth beamed at Sin, "I can most definitely take it slow," he said, allowing her to lead. "I don't think I had the opportunity to err, compliment you earlier. On your dress. And um, to thank you for helping me get ready."
He took her hand in one claw, and rested the other on her waist.
"Thank you. You look positively wicked."
Barth's dancing was, well, knowledgeable but snail-like. He was still tired from the long walk over, but bravely inching along any way. It would be up to Sin to make them look good.

Sharra had no qualms whatsoever as he arrived at the party. Yes, he was well aware that there would be the customary eyeing up and dressing-down that happened with all of these little get-togethers...but the nergal was dressed to the nines...in his classiest vest, the pinstripes on his suit drawing the eyes to all of the tall boil's best features. That, and how could he even care what others thought, when his accompaniment was so utterly ravishing? Hadiyya was on his arm, clad in darker colors than her customary blue, Sharra surprised to find that he liked this ensemble just as well as her normal attire...and she seemed to possess a glow all her own, though that could just have been the demon boil's sentimentality talking. And on the other side of her was Aksaja, the electrifying dragon, and the demon twosome's mutual purchase from the auction.
And well, he looked rather dapper too.
Striding into the place as though on cue, the blond youth then made note of some of the more familiar partygoers. Goodness, but there were some strange couples out there this evening...though he supposed when one was bidding on one's date, such was a rather large possibility. Though...was that Junko and Maladore? Ye gods...seemed as though Riley had that situation well in hand. And Christof was here too? And dancing no less...oh Sharra was going to have to keep his eye on that twosome.
Turning to the pair at his side, he grinned widely, fangs flashing as he had already summarized their chances. "Looks as though it's to be a grand dance...so let's make it a night to remember, shall we?" A jaunty wink was tossed the way of both his dates. Oh yes. He'd make sure it was memorable, he and his lady had already been plotting...both the party, and their own personal little after-shindig. It was Scarentines, after all, and the first one that he'd had with Yaya, or...well, any ghoulfriend, for that matter, and he had a few surprises up his sleeve. This was one Nergal that wouldn't be letting anyone down.

Malodore blinked as Riley expertly disentangled it from Junko's clothing with only a small tearing sound; still, the plague doctor winced internally and silently vowed to lend Junko thread and needle immediately if she needed it. "Ah... grazie?" it managed once it had been put down, adjusting its had sheepishly. "I did warn you that I couldn't dance, non è vero?"

Barth had won her at auction, he deserved to have a nice night for his seeds, and he was being positively charming. Her smile did that quick flash at his compliment and she relaxed a bit. Her movements were graceful but slowed to let him set the pace. Still their dance managed to look effortless but coordinated. She would have looked silly trying to lead Barth into a more robust dance routine. Besides they were there to have fun after all, and despite not having a crush or anything on Barth he was still very pleasant male company.
They moved in widening and constricting circles slowly around the dance floor. "This is nice..." She had to be honest it was nice to just dance for dancing sake. She was so used to having to match the best of the best and struggling to compete. With Rosc it had been a challenge to prove to him she was as skilled on the dance floor as he was. With Barth, it was almost like getting to dance with her father, he wouldn't have minded if they fell asleep on the dance floor...infact if she wasn't careful he might.

Christof had watched a lot of dancing in his life, usually from a distance. He remembered Sin and her winged partner's twirling fast paced fancy dance at the Demon's Ball (through the window, of course) and Riley and Barth's.... he shuddered, eyes narrowing as he pursed his lips, looking up into Morrigan's eyes as he wobbled in front of her cluelessly. Unfortunately he had never danced himself. It wasn't in an Igor's usual repertoire. He glanced to the other couples, studying them intently, trying to pull in something through osmosis but... what... what was the point? Everyone was pressed so close and... bodies heaving and... he swallowed deeply before very nervously attempting to bounce to the music but it was a difficult task. Was it the down beat you were supposed to bob to? Or the upbeat? What did you do with your hands?
Alright, maybe this had been a bad idea. If they were going to stay in this competition, it was in Morrigan's hands.

Thank Jack she was still dressed for the occasion---she was in a rush! How could she have forgotten to feed her minipets! Mei was sure she was late! Hopefully he wasn't waiting too long.. Hurrying across campus, she slowed her pace when as she closed in on the location of where the party was to be held. Oh Jack! He was already there! Rubbing the back of her neck, she made a quick apologetic bow to the boil. "Sorry for keeping you waiting! A few hungry critters made certain I fed them before leaving." Offering Bul a smile, she gave a quick look over him. She had to admit, she was surprised that he hadn't received any bids. He looked quite the catch! Oh well, there loss was her gain? At least for tonight it was. "Have you been here long?"

When Riley set Mal down, she looked it over quickly, before a soft chuckle wrapped around her words as she spoke. You did.. but I didn't think that meant risking injury. I suppose this means.. you'd rather not dance with me later? Her eyes betrayed how sad she was at the thought. I can't imagine you'll want to go back after that, for anything..
