"Adar told me. He said he knew you a while ago. He said you were a companion of my father, Squall Leonhart." Katana was a bit desperate. Seifer never finished his stories anymore and she still hadn't had a chance to ask Squall for any details...

"Squall? Yeah, Ah knew him. Is he here?" Irvine perked up. He had seriously missed all his friends from Garden. Saving the world together kinda gave them a special bond, ya know?

"No, I am afraid not. He does not live with us... He lives with one of Miss Plushi's friends, Guine. I can see if we can see him sometime, if you would like," Katana offered, recognizing the look in Irvine's eyes. It was similar to the one Seifer got whenever Squall was mentioned.

Irvine blinked and sat down heavily. "Jesus... Don't think Ah ever saw that one comin'... Seifer... and Squall?" he looked back at the girl, just to make sure he wasn't imagining this.
