There is much to learn in this world. To learn it, you must realize you know nothing.  Nodding, the wizard stood to leave. "I shall prepare as well; hopefully, confrontation will not be necessary should Anya come back, but we may have to fight who she returns with." He looked meaningfully at Luke before he left, shutting the door behind him and heading to his study. If his time line was correct, Anya would be going through extensive training in another dimension; their time was limited, while hers was limitless.

Luke sighed as Jethrow left. Once the wizard was gone, Luke held his sister close. He was concerned for Anya yes, but he was more worried about his sister getting hurt. He knew this would bring up memories o their father and the chaos their clan descended into.

There is much to learn in this world. To learn it, you must realize you know nothing. Jethrow sighed as he walked back into his study. The potion he'd had Anya brew just that morning was still sitting by the fire, as were the books she'd ruffled through after her lesson. Kicking a few away from his seat, the old wizard dropped into the chair. It would only be a matter of time until something happened, be it good or bad. He could only hope that there was something the three of them could do to stop Anya from completely becoming demonic. It's quite possible for us to do such; while tapping into her demon powers, she'll close herself off from whoever is mentoring her. They'll be unable to know Anya on a level such as we do. If we could appeal to her real personality, perhaps she'll pull out of whatever state she goes into. For a moment, Jethrow entertained the thought of Anya having been kidnapped, as Luke had thought at first. It was a nice idea, but highly unlikely. "If she were kidnapped, she might be resentful of her 'mentor.' That will make it much easier to appeal to her," he mused.

Luke sighed and guided his sister outside to his gardens. Maybe a little air would help calm them. He sat with her out in his gardens, letting her look at the overgrowth that reminded them of home. It had a certain comfort to it.

If everything were as it seemed, life would be a dream.  Where...am...I? Anya thought, sitting up slowly. "Ugh....My head...." Looking around, Anya blinked against the throbbing of her head. The illusion she was under, she was aware enough to know it was an illusion, made a black scenery with black blocks floating aimlessly. One such block was where she was sitting, and she looked around. "I know you're here; this is your illusion, obviously," she called out. There was no answer, and no movement. No sounds, nothing but black block after black block. With a frustrated sigh, Anya pushed herself to her feet and she walked to the edge of the block she stood on, looking down. Immediately, she scuttled away from the edge. That would be a long fall.

"I will have my revenge."  A dark figure, exuding dark power, stood on a block, hidden from view, above the girl he'd kidnapped. It had been hit and miss, trying to pick one of the three demons that resided with the man who'd ruined his life. Demetri had sent his handy friend to spy on the three, and managed to infect one of the girls. Unfortunately, his brother had managed to take care of her, and he'd gone after the demon's brother. Again, but with the help of the fairy-demon, the life was saved. With no other choice, Demetri resorted to his back-up plan; the hybrid. He'd very much wanted to avoid using her, since she was partially good, but now that he was able to sense her power, he was satisfied. Irritated, he began to pace. Where was Fester? The serpent had visited the castle in one of the demon's dreams, and had left just before the fairy had arrived. The blood-thirsty snake had bugged Demetri until he'd released him, and now who knew where he was? But without him, I can't begin my plans! [OOC:] Hint... Fester likes wolves...

Fester soon slithered out of one of the blocks in his master's prison he used to enter and exit from. Instead of the black snake he had appeared to Luke as, he was a golden dragon with piercing blood eyes. He managed to slither around the blocks and stay out of Anya's sight as the serpent coiled around Demitri's shoulders affectionately. He had gotten a lot of fun out of the wolf from the other side of the prison.
