The shade of fear to Yuki's eyes slowly faded off and relaxed back to a neutral look,knowing her mother wasnt angry with her the thought of her not wanting Yuki here deminished and she clutched onto Senente's shorts. She was feeling a little better but something deep in her heart was weighing her down,"Mommy can I go outside for a minute?" Senente nods with the phone but looks to Saskuke to keep an eye on her, he takes Yuki by the hand and lets her go while he watched from the porch steps as she ran around with Togetic hovering with her. She wasnt as playful as she normal was but felt better that she was still loved and though she caused a lot of damage but like Senenete told her accidents happen and this time Yuki learned a valuble lesson not to mess with things shes not suppose to and if theres fire involed to get a grown up to help her, not do it by herself. Saskuke turns his head for a second while Yuki prances off out of view into the flower beds where a assortment of wild flowers grew and she looks to the water line seeing the city from far away and looks on as the breeze swayed her sleeves, it looked as she was the only one but hidden amongs the trees an eyes was keeping a more secretive watch on the innocent child. "Such a sweet child yet it seems there is a lot of hate, sadness, and despair in a small body.....is this the girl you've been watching leader?." "Its is...she not from this realm and the power we saw nights ago came from her....she would make a new addition....but for now we must wait and watch then see." Yuki looks on till she is picked up by the waist and she squeeks looking up seeing Saskuke who got her,"Gotcha, I cant even leave your sight for one second, come on lets get back to the house.....where did you get the kimono I remembered you wearing you normal clothes." Yuki looked down from his shoulders,"Naruto gave it to me...he said it reminded him of me with the moon." "That Naruto....seems to have quite a bond with you if he'll go to doing that."

"Mommy?.....mommy whats wrong?" Yuki tugs on Senente and looks down smiling she was alright just that she had a thought and went back to looking at the balcony. Yuki keep latched on Naruto like literally a monkey on his back bouncing around excited she was actually staying with him,"It'll be like a sleep over only better!" she laughs thinking about it till Naruto decides to pull a trick and picks up Yuki still laughing but flings her upside down by her feet, when she looks down she sees the water and tries to cling onto his arms not to go in the water. He starts to laugh till he gets a fist to his head and puts her down,Saskue knock some sense into him,"Knock it off idiot! you already lost here once now you want to fish her out from the water.....you make a bad babysitter truely." "Ow! you always do that we were just playing I wasnt gonna let her go she trust me dont ya Yuki." He looks down to see her holding tight on his leg shaking reapeatly say not to be thrown in the water, Saskue smirls,"Right......you both were having fun shes shaking in joy not fear?" Yuki looks up to see they were getting close to the pier in Skyline Naruto picked her up on his back so she could see the view of the city. After getting off they reach his house and to everyones surprised it was actually claned up a tad, ramen bowls in the sink instead of the ground and they could actually see the floor and it wasnt covered with clutter,"Make yourselves at home I have plenty." Yuki looks around and follows him as he made and set up a small futon for her,"You can sleep here or of you get scared with me then.....and if you like we can go to the bath house tonight again if you want, you really liked it the last time." she nods happily and looks into her bag for her other clothes while Naruto helped her out of the obi belt and slid off the layers of kimono but jumps as she yells,"Dont look! I'm a girl and mommy says you cant look at girls when they dress." he looks surprised and looks at Senente and back to Yuki,"Hey its not that bad I saw you naked at the bath and so did you..." Yuki blushes wildly and slips on her clothes and watches him go to wash her kimono and his as well, after scrubbing he laid them out to dry outside and just talked about silly thing till it mainly ended up about ramen and what bowls to get next or to try who would eat the spiciest.

Yuki watched on her futon as she saw Naruto picking things up tripping on a pile of his clothes and falling with a crash, she started to giggle as he got up and had a dirty sock on his head and was looking at her and smiled....seeing her happy made him happy. "Your suppose to be in bed its late little miss...now lay down you." Yuki looked at him knowing she didnt want to and looking at the clock it was only eight,"Cant I stay up a little longer please please please...I'm not tired." Hearing her complain started to buzz in his head with himself being tired her whining was making it worse but he smiled,"Alright alright you can stay up just for a little while." Finally getting her to stop he went into the kitchen and started up some water making the same thing he always ate and made one for Yuki,"I dont want you to be up crying so we'll just have a mild flavor....so while we wait how about a game." Naruto looks in Yuki's bag and sees Senente packed her markers and thought of an idea,"Lets color on ourselves!!" Yuki squeels happy and bounces over to him and picks out colors,the two laugh as they colored each other with Yuki drawing a moon on his forehead while he drew whiskers on her cheeks just like him."Now we look like eachother!!!! as they both laugh saying it at the same time and go in the kitchen to grab the ramen that was set and ate, Yuki still tried to copy Naruto with using chopsticks and he helped her by guiding her hand and after a few tries started to get the hang of it. Once they were done it was getting close to eleven so Naruto grabs a book from her bag and sits by the window,"The littlest Pichu.....you seem to like this a lot dont you." she nods and reads on,once he got to the ending he looks to see her asleep in his lap and smiles at the drawn whiskers on her face on top of her fox marks,"Sweet dreams Yuki.....little fox girl." He stays there and gently places her on his futon and gets ready for bed putting on his cap and laying right by her, putting the blanket on he stays up staring at her knowing she looked him as a sibling which made him feel better to know, placing his finger on her moon he touches the one she drew and fell asleep.

A sound wakes Yuki and she sits up looking in the darkness seeing if someone was up,"Naruto?......is that you." she gets up and walks to see him asleep with the book in his hands and it was starting to scare her. "Mommy? are you home....your starting to scare me now please be you." looking to the living she sees Senente and she was crying in her sleep for someone to help her, slowly Yuki came up to her shaking her shoulder,"Mommy?....mommy! please wake up its a dream mommy your not in trouble...please wake up!". Unable to wake her she placed her face next to her and unbeknown to Yuki her moon started to glow purple illuminating Senente and she was starting to cry out for her to wake up as she sobbed, as it glowed brighter Yuki opens her eyes to see she was back at home but the it was on fire,"Where am I why is the house on fire again?!.....I dont want to be here mommy! daddy! someone help!." She hears someone cry out and by the voice she hears it an it was her mother,"Mommy where are you!!" running to the kitchen coughing she sees Senente trapped in the beams where Raiku was pinned trapped and coughing from the smoke. Yuki yells for her but looks up terrified as burning debris falls from the ceiling and she ducks only to open her eyes and sees shes unharmed, Yuki was being protected in the same energy orb from before and she wasnt being hurt from the flames and smoke and looks to Senente almost starting to stop coughing and being crushed by the beams,"Mommy no!" She runs to her and tries to pull the beams but they wernt budging with her weak strength,"Come on....come on....I need to help mommy....she needs me!" Something inside started to spread in her body and pushes harder on the beams and they soon push off Senente breaking her free, Yuki grabs hold of her jacket straps and is engulfed into Yuki's barrier and carefully she started to drag her out as the fire crept around them but were not getting to the two, crying and trying to pull she makes it to the front and as soon as they were away the fire blew out the kitchen window heading upstairs shocking Yuki. She looks to Senente and realized that she wasnt awake and tried to wake her up calling her repeativly, out in reality Yuki was snuggled next to Senente eyes half closed and glowing purple but filled with tears as her moon continued to glow lightly lighting the room,"Mommy its ok your not in the fire.....its ok." she speaks weakly.

Listening Yuki goes back into Naruto's room and walks out near the window watching the moon thinking about her father being hurt more then he was before,"Daddy is hurt on the inside.....I miss him very much, I wish I can say sorry and tell him I love him." tears came down her face as she thinks back at the times she would crawl into bed with Raiku and feel safe as she selt knowing he was right there if she had a nightmare. There were many times she thought back and knew he loved her dearly from when she collasped from training ti when she had that fever to even rescuing her in the fire....she knew deep inside her father was willing to risk his life to make sure her and Everest was safe and noone would hurt them,"I miss my daddy, I want him to be better because I hurt daddy on accident why cant I help him." Sniffling softly Yuki climbed back down and huddled with Naruto rubbing her face on his stirring him to wrap his arm around her. Feeling secure she drifted off to sleep hoping everything was going to be alright and as soon as Raiku was better thing would as well be better, as morning started to creep into the window everyone was asleep Yuki especially from being up late and from the experience in the dream she still couldnt explain to herself what happened. After an hour past sunrise Yuki wakes up to a sharp pain in her forehead and rubs her head to try and ease it but it continued to hurt and lays down thinking it would go away but she tosses in Naruto's arm in pain,"When mommy wakes up maybe she can make it go away...she did last time when I had a fever maybe she'll know what will make it go away....it hurts." Yuki thought to herself and laid down.

The whole house seemed tense thinking any wrong move Yuki would attack, she was pale and her skin was slightly discolored as for her eyes she couldnt see but whatever it was she was getting aggressive attacking anyone she heared. Everyone looks ariund to see there was anything that coud diagnose the problem till there was a knock at the door.....it was Kasashi sensei. "Sakura told me what was going on with both of the girls and so I was looking in my library and this started to scare am." he had a large worn out black book reading faintly "Sickness and disesaes of other realms" and he turned to a page that showed a picture of a child with a moon on his forehead, Kakashi contimues on,"I started to read this and I fear this is what Yuki and Everest are suffering from by the look of the blueish tint on their eyes.....Reaper's Grasp.....almost close to the black plague in comparison but this is like the chicken pox for human children however this is more deadly, without proper care shadow children die from the disease in a little as a week."

Senente was shocked as she looked to the pages and see Yuki fall on the ground as she was exhausted from hissing and snarling so Naruto picks her up carefully and lays her by Everest. Sakura looks to the girls worried,"Theres got to be something we could do....there in pain and I can tell." Kakashi looks on to find more information,"Although there is no medecine for Reaper's Grasp itself the child would have to go through the cycle and.......hope to be well, the only way to make sure the child doesnt die is to follow these steps, 1.Watch the child temperture, shadow beings are infamous for haveing high fever and if the fever goes up to 105 cool the child imedietly till their temperture goes down to at least 100. 2. Be sure to try and feed the child and hydrate them, the cause of most child with this is dying fron dehydration and starvation, this task will be a challenge. 3. Be advise each child will act different while sick and the cause of the biting and aggresivness in some is mainly the pain they have through their body including the mouth where the feeding is the hardest part...be paitient with the child. and finally 4. If there is more than one child with the disease separate them!....if one is exposed to the other it makes it worse, keep the child in things as soft as possible and hope they will heal....nearly 50,000 shadow children died fron Reaper's Grasp mainly because these steps wernt followed." Everyone was in shock, they didnt want to believe both girls had that terrible disease but from the list of symptoms from the skin discoloration to the no energy they had it.

"Well it best we separate them now before it gets worse." Kakashi advised and Saskuke carefully picked up Everest with her flinching to bite but she was too weak and took her back to his house with a list Kakashi wrote for the steps and left himself not before saying something to Senente,"Yuki may be a little fighter but with the number of casulaties from this we just need to hope she doesnt become part of the fraction....take care of her." She looks to Yuki and tries to pick her up but she had more aggression then Everest and tried to bite, she takes a cloth and wraps her hands in them to protect them and carried her onto her little futon and settled her in. "They said eating was going to be tough....we'll just have to see." Yuki was making sounds knowing Senente she knew Yuki was in alot of pain but there wasnt much she could do but follow the steps and watch it with her agressive behavior being sick, for now she was resting with what little energy her small body had.

All Naruto could do was smile as he finally saw Senente happ for once after almost two weeks of worry and from today,"Thats something I havent see for awhile.....glad to see it again." He feels Yuki slightly and takes her back laying her down reaching over her for the book Kakashi left behind and read more on the disease hoping to get more answera. Looking to the middle section hes focus on every detail,"A normal case will start out with the child unable to see and gradually gets worse, starting next with near imobility, sensetive skin when touch burns the child in pain, panting, coughing, and shivering." After a few minutes Naruto tries to get her to drink some water from a glass but as he gently lifted her head she lets out a scream and he sets her down thinking he hurt her but forgotten her skin was subject to more pain and laid her down,"This will be tough for awhile.....I dont know what to do but leave her be for now."


He does and goes to look at the two who were getting back together being separated for so long, letting them have their time goes back inside and kneels with Yuki as she tries to sleep and he figues out to take her temperture, getting a thermometer he gives it to her and waits to read it shaking it in the air and gasped....it read 107. Panicked Naruto grabs her quick and rushes into the bathroom turning on the cold water and goes to get some ice from the kitchen putting them in the tub. Yuki was screaming being touched and grew louder as he placed her in the iced water but as he poured the water on her body she started to calm down as the water cooled her skin and soon relaxes, Naruto sighs in relief she stopped and as soon as he knew she was cooled down he picks her up wrapping her in a large towel and gently rocks her as she shivered,"Must be another symptom....your alright now."

He sees her kimono hanging on the window and dresses her in it thinking it will make her comfortable surrounded by the satin cloth, gently he carries her back into his room and moves to a chair by the window and rocks her as she shivered violently but hears the phone ring. Picking it up while holding Yuki it was Saskue on the line telling him how Everest was,"She alright so far, Sakura was able to get her to drink some water and eat a little mashed apple she boiled till soft and mashed it up and rice porraige, she was a little fussy at first not wanting to be touched but it was in the list it will happen." the two talk for a few minutes and hang up taking Naruto back where Senente and Raiku were to tell them.

"Saskue just called, he has Sakura over helping out and shes not too fussy but they got her to eat with a bottle, she interacted with both of them and only got angry when they picked her up and when they tried to feed her with a spoon." he nods to them and goes back to Yuki who was moving her head trying to find him, as he picked her up though she started to snarl and hiss but as her hand touched the collar of his jacket Yuki reconized him and settled down, he sighs and sits continueing to rock her in the chair as she shivered and cradle her humming a lulaby to her.

She looks at him in a glare but in pain as Yuki didnt want to let go, Raiku gently tried to open Yuki's mouth to release her hand but as he got it out Yuki snapped at him missing his fingers by inches,"Geez! when you ment aggresive you ment it." Raiku shouts, Yuki whines and cries louder as Senente slowly put her down thinking of a way to feed her without getting hurt. "I dont know what to do....we try to feed her and she bites any hand that comes near." Naruto thinks and remembers what Saskue and Sakura did with Everest and gets up,"You guys watch her for a minute, I'm running off for a minute be right back!" Raiku and Senente look at each other in confusion and goes into the first aid kit to bandage Senente's bite wound.


A half hour passes and Naruto comes back with a small bag of three baby bottles,"Yuki is probably only biting because the spoon hurts her mouth....the book said their mouths are swollen and hurts them bad....Everest was fed this way and she did fine." He takes the mashed apples and rice and goes to the kitchen and adds a little water to them pouring it in two of the bottles and filling the other with water, carefully bringing the bottles he hands the one with apples to Raiku and tries to give it to her and he carefully tilts her head as she flinches to bite again,"Easy now....this might be a little better...come on Yuki." he presses the bottle to her mouth but she fusses squirming weakly to be put down and as Raiku tries it again her hand knocks the bottle out of his hand,"Yuki!" he shouts at her but Senente stops him,"Raiku no, remember shes in pain and is going to be very fussy....we just have to be paitient with her."


A hour goes by and as the two switched turns Yuki was refusing to eat from the bottle and at this point Naruto watches how she was fussing badly but in her face she was really hungry,"Senente....give her to me maybe she'll eat if I'm holding her." Carefully she hands Yuki to him as she hissed and he tries to reach for the bottle but it was near her face and she bit hard into it but he doesnt shout in pain but almost lets her,"Yuki I know your in pain...we just want to help you ok...please eat." She bites deeper drawing blood and he holds her close to his chest, Yuki's face touches his collar and as he looked at her he sees her weakly sniffing his jacket and lets go of his hand licking the blood off,"She know the scent of my jacket....thats what she was looking for and used her nose to find." As Naruto cradles her in one hand he reaches for the rice bottle and gently places it near her mouth, Yuki feel it close and bites on taking it in as if she was starving making him laugh,"See I knew you were hungry.....take it easy....slow sips at a time now."

At that point it was like he was feeding a baby watching her drink from the bottle calmly and not fussing, just as she reached about half of it he switched to the apples and Yuki took that bottle as well. Naruto looked at her the whole time with nerturing eyes keeping her body close and laughed a couple times as she ate.
