She takes a deep breath and picks a pokeball. "Growlithe, I choose you." Her Growlithe let out a bark and jumped out anxiously.

Mina nodded and then started the battle. "Growlithe, use Flamethrower." Growlithe howled and shot an intense blast of fire straight at Magneton.

Lt. Surge The magneton dodge and barely got hit. "Must be faster than that, magneton use lock on." The magneton locked its eyes on growlithe Felix saw how the magneton dodge the super effective flamethrower. ´I see.´

She didn't look happy; she thought that would hit. "Well, if faster is what you want, you got it. Growlithe, use Agility to build up your speed." Growlithe started rushing in different places to not only try and confuse Magneton but also to build up its speed.

Lt. Surge "Whatever you do now you won{t escape my next move, cause I have you locked on hahaha. Now use zap cannon." Even though the growlithe was moving fast, and trying to confuse the magneton the zap cannon hit due to the lock on. ´I see what he did there.´Thought Felix durig Mina´s battle.

She gasped as Growlithe was hit by the Zap Cannon. "You ok?" Growlithe got back on its feet and barked. "Good boy. Let's try Flame Wheel." Growlithe charged quickly at Magneton as it was cloaked in fire.

Lt. Surge Laughing he told magneton. "Metal sound." The magneton made growlithe´s defense go lower, and barely got hit again.. "You might not know the affect of zap cannon, huh tyke." He said laughing.

She looked confused and then noticed Growlithe had slowed down and had sparks flying and she realized that he was paralyzed. "I remember now....Zap Cannon always paralyzes." She felt like calling it back but Growlithe still looked like it wanted to fight. "Ok then. Growlithe, use Reversal." Growlithe released an all-out attack that was stronger than normal because of the damage it took from Magneton.

Lt. Surge As soon as magneton took the hit Lt. Surge quickly commanded. "Use explosion." With that said magneton took out growlith along with itself.

She shielded her eyes when Magneton used Explosion and not only did it faint, but her Growlithe did too. "Return Growlithe. You were great. Take a good rest." She then pulled out another pokeball. "Ivysaur, I choose you." She tossed it and her Ivysaur roared and took its stance as she waited for his next pokemon.

Lt. Surge "Come on out ampharos." The ampharos was glowing with electricity. "Use Charge." The ampharos was holding electricity.

She looked amazed and took a second to record it in her new pokedex. She also knew that Ampharos was trying to store power up. "Ivysaur, use Sweet Scent." Ivysaur then sprayed a pink powder that has a sweet smell to it and it flowed over and surrounded Ampharos.

"Those tricks won´t work, use charge again ampharos." The ampharos was storing more power as well raising it´s special defense.Felix was wondering what this gym leader was up, since he used explosion, and only making it a three pokemon battle now.
