For instance, right now I'm using a drawing tablet to use Paint -yes, just the simplest image program, 'paint', which is all this computer has- to draw a draft of my new character. 3nodding I shall persevere!

Well, to tell you the truth, since I've been using it, I found out it's not all that bad. But I'm used to Jasc Paint Shop Pro, where you can do a lot more stuff on it. Like transparency levels and different layers...But the simplicity of Paint isn't all that simple really...It's really good. 3nodding It makes me have to really try, and that improves my skill.

With MS paint it allows you to get in to more detail~

One thing I'm experimenting with now is the color shading. I mean, before I didn't do the 'color transition/shading' thing...I just went from one color to the next. But now I'm using the 'define custom colors' and the little color slider where it goes from light to dark. That helps a LOT with going from one color to the next. xp

xD I was WONDERING where you went...I just finished both eyes and started on the hair... sweatdrop That is going to be hard...better save it for tomorrow...When I can actually keep my eyes open...
