With a snort, the veil was severed and Tiki's thrashing carried him a few arm lengths away, tearing the cloth from his throat. For a terrifying second he still couldn't breathe, but a sweet gust of air rushed into his lungs. He probably would have suffered more seriously if he wasn't still sopping wet with magical oasis water.
With his first deep inhale, the phantom wolf ceased to exist, though Tiki's temples were still streaming blood.
Whereas a civilized person would lay panting for a few moments, Tiki was a near-feral creature, and reacted to the pain and enormous adrenaline rush with a violent mentality. He scrambled back towards the assailant on a combination of two and four legs, with the intention of kicking her helmet until she stopped moving.

Sirence finally emerged from the waters again. He was soaked from head to toe for only an instant before he was enveloped in his own fiery anger. Sirence really doesn't do the whole anger thing, but he also doesn't enjoy the whole being controlled like a dog thing... His attention turned directly to Carrilel and he started to move slowly in her direction.

Carrilel's hand was blue but it had stopped moving uncontrollably and aching. She reached for her star with her left hand this time, as Tiki charged. She turned just in time to ram her skull at him, hoping to head-butt him hard enough. She glanced in the direction of the Oasis clearing which now sat painfully obvious in her view. There sat the Second Ember General, Dameon, with a small girl in his arms. Panic over took Carrilel as her eyes layed upon the first Ember brother, Sirence... and he didn't look happy to see her. Carrilel took that moment to wave her arm over her head in and arch and roll quickly into the portal which stood there temporarily.

There was very little that Trent hated more than someone running away from a fight that they started. Trent walked over over to where the feral Tiki had been before his charge and picked up his dagger. Once in his hand, it disappeared much like the staff had.
"Shouldn't start with me if you can't handle it...."
Trent looked up and headed back towards the water.

The air around Sirence hissed softly as it evaporated. He growled softly before returning to the shore, near his brother and sister. "We should give her something to drink, I don't think she's had anything in a day or two." Sirence mentioned to his brother in reference to Sairiel. He looked at Trent and smiled a little... he remembered and it showed in his eyes (if you could see it). He had more respect for Trent and his companion then before but he didn't want the boy fighting his battles for him any longer.

Trent nodded to Sirence with a smile, he figured it was all that was necessary. Running his hand through his hair, he sat down at the edge of the water, and let his feet fall in.

Tiki moved out of the way of the headbut, but was too overbalanced to strike until the girl had disappeared. Nevertheless, he continued to pace around the spot where she had been, clawing at the ground and moving in circles as if she might still be nearby. He stayed there, winding down, until long after Trent had left him.

Dameon watched carillel go and was happy to have done so. He really just wanted to get this whole Calibar thing over with. As everyone regrouped Dameon knelt next to the water with Sairi attending to the task of getting her a drink of water. Breifly his mind wandered to Contay and Justice, wondering just how much longer it would be before they returned.

"Here..."Sirence said she he knelt beside his brother and little sister and removed a tin collapsible cup from his pocket. He opened it and scooped up some of the cool oasis water before assisting his brother.
Once they both felt she had had enough to drink he returned the cup to his pocket.
He looked right up at Dameon, eyes steady and face straight, "I'm sorry." He said in a level and sincere voice, acknowledging that he remembered enough to know he had done wrong.

Trent leaned back on his two hands and turned his head to face Sirence and Dameon.
"So then, you remember now hunh?"

After a few moments of sincerity toward his brother, Sirence looked over toward Trent again. He nodded silently, his face still level. "How's your leg? I didn't bust it I take it?" He let a weary smile spread across his lips for a moment or two.

Sairiel gasped softly before opening her eyes. A bright smile spread across her face as she sat up in her brother's arms. "That tastes nice!" She chirped pleasantly.

Contay walked pleasantly into the clearing, five large crystals balanced on her crossed arms. She walked to a large flat stone by the oasis and carefully placed the crystals on it for the moment. "Just leave 'em here, we wont need them until later." Contay said as she turned to see how far behind her Justice was. The girl, Justice, hadn't slowed her down and this surprised her slightly, noting Justice's distant looks.

Justice nodded and set the crystals down. "Alright." She said before jumping up into a tree and laying across one of the branches. "I'm going to sleep for awhile. Wake me if it's important." She told them, already closing her eyes.

"No, you did bust it, but I mended it... no biggie. How about you? Headache?"
Trent's face betrayed no emotions, and only a slightly questioninglook passed across it.
