Currently, this is what I'm taking daily:
225 mg Effexor
100 mg Topamax
100 mg Trazadone
I also take a birth control pill called Desogen to balance my hormones, 3 mg Lunesta tablets as needed for insomnia, over the counter flax seed oil capsules as a mood stabilizer, 10 mg Zyrtec daily as needed for allergies, and over the counter psyllium fiber capsules for IBS.

I increased to 600 mg Lithium recently.
I get a Lithium level sometime next week.
No complaints except I really miss beer and caffeine and I get sick of drinking water. Also I get nausea sometimes, but nothing too severe.
We'll see how this works out.

Risperidal 1 mg per day
lamictal (anti epileptic, can have anti-deppressant effects in people with bipolar disorder)
concerta (ADD medication, straight ritalin ******** with my head too much)
sleeping pills: starnoc, zopliclone/immovane

i dont see why you have to give up caffiene....i didnt have to when i went on lithium, but you still shouldnt drink alchohol. man if i ever had to give up caffiene....

how many mg is a standard dosage of prozac and celexa? I've been taking them since i was 6, and i don't know why...

I was on abilify (5mg), but it was all sideffects for me. I also found out that I was the 1% of people who got strange dreams from it along wiht ever other sideffect.
So now I'm on Risperdal (1mg) and it keeps me up for days, even though I'm not exactly manic on it, I'm slightly hyper, but I still feel like crap.

I don't have to worry about alcohol because when I drink, I get drunker faster so I stop after only a few drinks (unless I'm not taking the lithium, in which case it doesn't affect the lithium level anyway). Lithium has actually curbed the amount I drink just by the sheer fact that it causes me to get drunk faster.

I was on Celexa 60mg, went to Prozac 60mg, currently on 175mg of Epival and 40mg of Prozac.

Hello, I am on 400mg of Tegretol and 4mg of Trilofon.
I noticed that alot of you are on abilify. I was once prescribed abilify, but i simply didn't take it because I never filled it. Abilify costs 300$ a month if you are not insured. *gasp*

I um... Dont really know all the things I was on as a kid there were alot. I was mis diacnosededed and they treated me for depression so i was really messed up for a long time. Then one day I decided enough was enough and I stopped taking all of them. WORST WITHDRAWL OF MY LIFE, coldsweat shakes the works. But im fine now and dealing with being bipolar on my own. Its really tough somtimes but ya know. The meds that really messed with me were:
Paxel
welbutrin
Nortriptyline - This s**t screwed me up and they almost killed my kidneys with it
And a few others that i dont remember

when i was twelve i was diagnosed with depression.
these are the meds i was on until recently when i was diagnosed as bipolar
paxil (worked for a while, then faded out)
welbutrin (made me feel like a robot)
celexa (worked for a while)
lexapro (worked for a while)
cymbalta (worked the longest. then stopped after about two years)
zoloft (made me crash, severe panic attacks)
topomax (made me black out while driving)
Effexor xr (worked but wasn't quite what i needed)
now that i've been diagnosed with bipolar i'm on
Effexor xr (depression and anxiety)
lamictal (anti convulsant i think...but works for bipolar)
zyprexa (anti psychotic i think...)
so far they're working. effexor's withdrawals are HORRIBLE though. so i can't forget to take them! i've gained a lot of weight too...but i'm hoping to get that under control soon.
