D'espairsRay aren't favoring the east coast on purpose. The people at AnimeNext approached Jhouserock and asked D'espairsRay to be their guests. It just happened that they were free during this time so they accepted. <-- learned this from people who work at AnimeNext. The other shows at CBGB and Webster Underground were set up afterward I believe.

Yeah I live in Cali. I probably shouldn't complain o_o;
I got to Fiddle around with the whole Kamijo event at Fanime >>; and like 5 other jrock bands.
We do have Hyde and like 1/3 of 12012 but I don't like hyde and I blew all my money on Fanime (convention with all the jrock bands and their damned cds. Kamijo too. He kissed everything at jpophouse booth D; !! and compelled me to buy stuff for him to siign x__X)
I guess if D'espairsRay wants to come back to California they'll do it of their own time >> << v__v;;
(Lareine might be coming next year =D and I have jrock connection this year xD; Yey for Aliene Ma'riage! -possibly-) [smack me I'm horribly off topic]

AH. I'm so excited for Friday. xD
I would love to go over to the west coast to see someone perform. D: But alas, I, uh, can't. T.T I don't really have the money to just buy some plane tickets, concert tickets, hotel stuff, and...well, yeah, the works. crying Hopefully, though, when I get into college, I'll be able to go to many more performances. ^^;;
Yeah. The D'espairsRay concert at AnimeNEXT will be my first (real) concert. eek I FEEL SO...AGH! << >>

xp Yeah, I don't have that kind of money either ;__; My first real concert was seeing D'espairsRay at the Avalon in Feb. Ahhh, it was amazing. I hope when I see them at CBGB this saturday it'll be just as good, if not better.

OH. MY. KAMI.
I don't know if I'll be able to go to the concert tonight, or not...!
See, the stupid seniors at my school decided to start a food fight...and you know, I was being a hero or something, cleaning up, and then I went to go help clean my friend's white dress...yeah...
I ended up slipping on something on the floor, and...um, hit my chin and elbow...Very close to receiving a not-welcome concussion.
*cries* So I don't know if I'll be able to go tonight...

I got to go, anyway. ...even though my parents forced me to leave early...
The concert was GREAT (except for the opening bands D: ) ... (and except that I had to leave in the middle of D'espairsRay's set DD: )
I stared at Karyu almost the entire time. Hizumi called us "(something) fookas." xD I almost fell over laughing. But his English seems pretty good- I was happy. I don't know if anyone else could tell what he said, but, AH. It was cool. =3

lol I missed animenext backstage and the CBGB backstage mad
I made it for the Animenext show 5mins before D'espairs came on and since I had a backstage pass John took me up front and they lifted me over the barrier so I got to be front row. (all my nice front row concert tickets went to waste also lol) Since I missed all 3 backstages I got a signed towel from Hizumi that he used the day before showering. I was just kinda like what the ******** do you think this is? and I need to point out I only got this "so fantastic" towel AFTER sitting in the back of the CBGB annoying the ******** out of Nora till she finally said she'd call John. I mean wtf I missed 3 backstages(yes my fault) but I still paid and didn't get s**t, it wasn't gonna be hard for them to snap 1 pic of me with like my fav member or something. rolleyes D'espairsray were also -assholes- to me and my mom in Manhattan so I was like okay? I get a stupid towel after throwing 1,100 dollars at you and then you just walk by me like I didn't just say hi... yeah see if I go spend my whole bank accountd worth on you guys again rolleyes They are starting to act like premadanas

Car trouble wednesday & thursday so there goes webster concert and backstage, couldn't leave till friday morning and we left late because my mom takes 28749281 hours to get ready so we got there late, there goes animenext backstage but got to see concert wooo~ Went to lunch with D'espairs saturday got back to the hotel ata bout 3 fell asleep and my mom went to have a drink and didn't come back till like 5:30 an she took 1hr to get ready then there was traffic so we didn't make it to the CBGB till 7:40 and no one knew anything about backstage so no one could get me back there for the last like 10mins of it sad but yes, I had a great time at the concerts biggrin

Maybe you should've used the subway/buses instead? Driving in New York City is hell. I went to CBGB show. It was too short but I had fun. I managed to make my way to the front row. I've got bruises and blisters from it but oh well, I got to touch Zero's hand and bass. Eee <3 At one point someone tried to touch his bass strings and he quickly smacked their hand away in sort of a playfull way. Hizumi touched my hand at one point and it was slick with sweat. It was soo hot over there. When they were headbanging you could see the sweat flying off of them. A lot of people seemed to be taking advantage of the fact that the stage was so low and there weren't any barriers to keep them back so there was a lot of gropping from what I could tell. Anyways I'm glad you had fun at the concerts. Did you go to the photo/autograph/auction thing too? (I only made it in time for autographs and the auction ;__ wink Oh, and how was lunch with them?
