ranulf smiled at her "yeah it happened all the time. i would shift into an animal i would see along side the road just because i was thinking about it and all the kids on the bus would freak out. some lycanthropes think ppl like us are lucky not to be tied to the moon... but acctually it can make things harder sometimes." ranulf looked off into nothingness as he remembered the horror on his classmates faces. "my mom home schooled me for a couple years until i was old enough and strong enough to control my abilities but it didnt take away the memories that the kids already had of me."

"That's a shame...although I went to a...boarding school, of sorts. I don't know if you missed much." A small noise made her look at the door and after a few minutes one of the new were-rats came into the room.
"I'm here to take over. Let you two get to bed." Th implications hung in the air. Blaze immeditely disliked him, giving him a dirty icy stare hard enough for him to take a step back from here. She walked out soundlessly, stretching her arms when she was sure the rat wouldn't see her. "I'm going to do a quick check of everyone before bedding down," she said, knowing Ranulf would hear her.

"well i dont know? do you want to konw?" ranulf teased as he looked at her with a grin. "i might as well tell you... i mean i didnt say it, unless you plan on killing the messenger. that guy back there said 'damn when i saw her she was hot, but when i looked at her eyes i about pissed in my pants, its like a masochists dream' and i just found it funny that hes afraid of you. i mean dont get me wrong, youre a tough woman but, well i just dont seem to be as afraid of you as the others are. maybe its cause we have so much in common? you think?" he smiled at her in sincerity. "come on, dont worry about that guy or any other guys that say that s**t. theyre just jealous that they cant handle a woman like you." he remarked as he continued to walk down into the depths of the circus.

(Sorry guys, I broke my laptop and it wouldn't let me sign in and I had to wait to tell my dad because he would yell at me and I didn't want to be like "my 'puters broke, going out, see you tomorrow." And I've got a cold now so if this doesn't make much sorry. And yays I feel so loved smile Anyhoo)
"Do you think you can handle me?" She asked before realsing she had said it. She rushed on, "I never kill the mesenger if I asked for the information. And I never worry about what people think of me, especially morons like that guy. But you should be afraid of me..." Blaze cocked her head and looked at Ranulf's back as he walked away from her. "I can't understand why you aren't," she whispered to herself, not meaning for him to hear.

(thank god *attacks manda* i thought youd fallen off the edge of the world or something XD)
that made ranulf stop. he slowly turned around, face serious. "because my dear when youve spent as much time as i have at the mercy of merciless creatures, you learn to welcome death.. whatever form it may come in." then he smiled at her teasingly. "as to tell the truth i honestly think we may be evenly matched when it comes to skill and wit (sp?) ive felt your aura and seen inside your heart. what drives you is very similar to what drives me." ranulf stepped closer to blaze looking her in the eyes..."i believe we might even be 2 of a kind. figuratively speaking of course." his smile broadened as he reached for her and lightly stroked her hair running it behind her ear. then he turned back around and began to walk back down the stairs.
