Looks more like an M48. It's somewhat odd though, there's no grove for the bolt. Wait I know, it's an M48 with a curved bolt.

Lord Plate I wanna ride a horse to school. XD Nah, it's just that most people get confused with different livestock things. I know people who have never seen a living chicken in their life. I live in the country compared to the rest of Maryland. It's more like... the farm-filled DC suburbs. We get all the run off from military bases and people who work in Washington. A lot of horse farms 'round here. I used to have a pet rooster name Cousin. I think we ate him.

ArmasTermin Freak_090 Lord Plate Freak_090 Rooster = Male CHICKEN Hen = female CHIKEN Chicken = Hen / Rooster Spoken like a true farm boy. They're all chickens. xd confused I've lived in the same house in the same suburban neighborhood my whole life.... too many people stereotype Texans as country/farm folk. Lots of people think we ride horses too school!!! You mean you don't?! xd I know what you mean. A lot of people think only country hicks live in Louisiana and everyone has that accent. In some areas that's actually true, but most everywhere we have the same stuff every other state has. Except we have Parishes in stead of Counties. Not sure why... I have to say, everyone from Louisiana that I've met has had a a bit of an accent, like saying 'Norlans' instead of New Orleans. It's because you're french.

SierraBT gefreiter SierraBT gefreiter SierraBT gefreiter .38 insert? As in .38 special? I just have the 12 ga insert for the 12 ga flares. That other one is an older, cold war flare gun. 26.5 as well, perhaps 26. The 12 ga insert wont go in so it's a bit smaller. Yeah, I have the 12 GA. insert also. I'm thinking about making a single shot 9mm out of it just for kicks. I can't seem to find a picture, but I recall seeing a flare gun that looked a lot like yours that was intended as a survival weapon as well. It has a insert that shrinks to .38 special. Sweet... Check this out. There wouldn't be anything illegal about making it either. You just couldn't sell it. I think I'll buy the 357... LOL!!! Wait... the 44 MAGNUM! I'm not that trusting of milled aluminum, so I'll stick to the 9mm. You must post a video if you decide on the .44 pirate Don't worry aluminum is pretty strong

Yeah, I don't like it either. Never had much liking to the French and now I live in the center of French culture in America. O, the irony. You mean Disaster Area I mean New Orleans?

But the Americanized part of Canada (Western Canada) I don't have a problem with...yet

EmpressMotoko I cant tell what it is I think by the few features i can make out clearly its a K98? It is a 1916 Oviedo Mauser that was imported from Spain by Century, and it was rechambered in the late 60's in .308. It's the 1893 design, so I'm concerned about shooting it.

One thing I would do, is consult a trusted gun smith, and see what they think.

I never heard anything negative about the '93 design, what's a problem with it?
