Blah, I've wandered out of the forums again, haven't I? ^^;;
I was at Nekocon this last weekend, cosplaying my little heart out. ^^ Three of my friends and I cosplayed as the Sannin from Naruto. [I was Tsunade. ^^] We actually won a judge's choice award in the Hall Contest, too. xd
I'm kinda floating in and out of internet forums this month since I'm so busy. [Travelling nearly every weekend for a variety of weekends.] Sorry I kinda disappeared abruptly, though. ^^;;

Wow, Gaia is running really slowly for me today. >< Ah well.
Anyway, I thought I would drop a note to explain why I was gone this time. Hahaha. I had a real excuse this time! razz Hikari might remember that my birthday was November 19th--though then again she might not because I'm bad with birthdays too razz . Anyway, the next day I went to the hospital only to find out that I had appendicitis. Whee. So it was removed and I have been recovering since then.
I'm doing a lot better now, walking around and doing everything myself, etc. I just can't run or lift anything more than 20 pounds just yet. Boo. But I do get a cool scar. Hahaha. I'm trying to get back into the swing of things online, but it's slow going because I still get tired pretty easily.
I just thought I would say hi to everyone and stuff. So hi! *waves* smile

At least you didn't have to go the hospital ON your birthday...but still... I'm glad to hear you are okay! You had better take it easy or I will find out and come up there and...well, I guess I'll figure that part out later... But I think I can take you =P

Did I ever tell you I'm taking Japanese now? I found a night class at one of the branches of UC and tonight is the final exam. The way the class is being taught, it runs kinda slow sometimes, but all in all I'm happy with it. Now I can say very simple things such as "I read books in the house" and "that white cat is on top of the bed" and "Are we going to a movie on Saturday?" and such. We haven't really gotten very far at all into verbs and their various forms or sentances more complex than your basic subject-object-verb. And although we're exposed to kanji, we dont really learn how to read or write it specifically until the spring quater (3rd class of the year).
But it's more than I had before so, wheeee! =P

Thanks everyone. smile I'm feeling tons better. Even managed to go on a couple job interviews in the last week or so. And I'm really hoping that this particular one comes though for January.
And that's great that you're learning Japanese! I need to refresh my kanji. I've forgotten so many in the last 7 months. ;_;
And now I have to go play around on Kingdom of Loathing...because it's so facinating. biggrin
