(This thread is meant for roleplayers beginning in Danndrin. It is one of two sections they may start in. Danndrin has roadways and caravans from itself to Regalia, Raiem, and Nei'Ryu, as well as a border port with several ships for leaving the continent.)
[A brilliant sight to behold, Danndrin is the economic superpower in the continent of Orayu. The buildings are built of beautiful white marble, and the city is decorated in gold and platinum, as well as assorted precious gems. Able to be seen gleaming in the sunset from hundreds of miles away, it is a beautiful city, with an immense marketplace is located on the outer edge of the city.

{looks around her, pulling a deep blue cloak around her. She sat in the tallest tree around watching the stars. She smiles, seeing a figure walking below her. Silently she jumps down and meets him, slipping off to the nearest port}

Xiro wandered through the outer city of what used to be his home. He realized how risky it was for him to be there, but he didn't care. This was the only place he could to find what he was looking for. Xiro lurked cloaked through the alleyways, keeping away from those who might recognize him. He knew that his presence would gather some attention. He quickened his pace, heading for the Apothecary.
Xiro burst through the door as if possesed. The look on the owner's face was that of shock and awe.
"Can I help you, young man?"
Xiro turned his attention to the owner and stood up straight.
"As a matter of fact, you can."
"Oh... I... I.. apologize. I didn't know it was you. Please... please don't... kill me."
"I won't, if you give me what I've come for."
"What would that be, sir?"
"Your vaccine!"
"Oh.. oh.. that. Yes, of course. Take it."
Xiro grabbed the vial from his hand and turned toward the door. He stepped outside the Apothecary and suddenly felt an odd presence.
"No. Not now. After all I've been through. If I'm found out now, I'll never get to Xeyva in time."
Xiro looked down the street and saw the banner of the Killing Moon on the sleeve of a man. Xiro started down the street, trying not to look too conspicuous. As he walked down the street the Killing Moon member noticed something. He saw Xiro's blade, Omega, glinting in the moonlight. He became instantly suspicious. Since the Killing Moon's rise to power, the right of Danndrin civilians to posses weapons has been revoked.
"Hey! You, stop!"
"Not here. Not now."
Xiro started to run towards the gate of the outer city. He came to an intersection and was stopped by six more members of the Killing Moon.
"No! I don't have time for this!"
"You should have though about that before carrying your weapon."
"You really want to do this?"
Xiro began to grin as the seven members surrounded him. He took down the hood of his cloak and his hair fell into his face. He pulled out a piece of rope.
"What are you going to do? Tie us up?" The men started to laugh.
"NO!!!" Xiro shouted. He took the rope to his head. He then tied his hair back.
"Recognize me, now?"
"I..it's... him. Itorno."
"No! I am... Xiro!"
Xiro threw off his cloak and revealed himself to the men. He was clad in black armor in his abdomen region. He drew Omega and pointed the blade toward the men.
"Now, you die!"
As Xiro ran toward the men, one stepped forward in an attempt to stop him. Xiro spun Omega in his hand and ran him through. As his body fell to the ground, Xiro threw Omega at another man. The blade impaled itself in the man's torso.
"Darkflame!"
Xiro's arms became engulfed in darkflame and he spun around and landed a blow to a third man. Xiro's fist easily burned through his chest and he fell to the ground. The other four men decided to rush Xiro. They all raised their swords and struck. Xiro engulfed himself entirely with Darkflame and the blades turned instantly into a puddle of liquid. The four men looked at each other. Xiro stood up and threw up his hand.
"Pike of the Heavens!"
The pike materialized in Xiro's hand. He spun the pike and swung. The torsos of the four men fell to the ground followed shortly after by their legs. Xiro picked up his cloak and started toward the gates of the city.

=The Docks=
-The night was cool and breezy down at the docks, there were only a few ships that had come in with loads of imports and materials from the other countries. Down on an empty pier sat Renshia, holding a long pole with a thin string decending into the calm water. She liked to fish better at night when the piers werent so crowded with cranky perverted old men that always laughed so loud it made her cringe when they did, sometimes she'd have to cover her ears. She frowned as she pulled the line out of the water, the hook was empty again, Renshia grumbled as she dunked the hook back and mumbled to herself.-
"I've been sitting here for the past hour and half and not a single bite...that octupus doesnt count though...who'd want to eat something as slimy as that...eeugh..."
-Boredly she tugged at the pole with her right hand then placed her left elbow on her left thigh and rested her chin on her left hand then let her starlight blue eyes stare off into the horizon where the sea and the sky meet, the sky was full of stars tonight and her favorite one was out as well, the North Star. When ever Renshia needed some cheering up, she'd always look up to that star, for some odd reason it would make her smile again, a smile that cheers up the old people when ever she visits them to help them with chores out of the kindness of her heart.-

Rixtae lay in the bed of her room, cursing under her breath as she watched the stars outside her window. Her hands were clasped over her stomach, and she thought to herself. She couldn't waste much time here, because she'd run out of money staying at these inns. But she so loathed the thought of being a pawn in a useless game, that might end with her own death. Her thoughts and cursing were disturbed by a street ruckus. She hopped to her window, ducking down on her knees as to not be seen, and watched seven of the town's evil "protectors," the Killing Moon, surround a cloaked man. They assaulted him, and he cut them down easily, calling for a pike that she thought him call the "Pike of the Heavens."
'Judging by his use of demonic Darkflame, that man must been the warrior that slew Kai-Ren.. and then stole his Pike. What an atrocity! I must retrieve it..' She thought to herself.
Quickly crawling to her trunk, she unpacked her battle armor and weapons. Strapping her breastplate over her nightclothes, she slowly fell into her 'trance' of combat. She slipped her helm onto her head, the red feathers of the helmet ruffling against her fingers. She slide her armor-plated leggings on over her pants. Finishing her outfit by tying her longsword hilt to her thighs. She stood and turned, fitting her gloves against her fingers, and dashed out of the window, chasing after the cloaked man.

As Xiro continued down the street he suddenly fell to his knees. Xiro grasped his arms. The flesh on his arms was burnt beyond belief. The smell of burnt flesh was apparrent in the air.
"Arrgh! Will this pain ever subside? When will this wretched darkflame stop hurting me. This burns more than the fires of hell."
Xiro dropped his head and let out a roar. He took the end of his cloak and ripped it. He began wrapping his arms when he heard footsteps approaching.

Rixtae was running so swiftly, she slid when she twisted her legs slightly to stop running, kicking dirt up around her. She raised a black-gloved hand and pointed at him.
"You! Tell me, where did you obtain that Pike?!" She demanding.
The wind rustled around her, shaking her helm-feathers just slightly. She was breathing heavily from running so fast while carrying the weight of her armor, but kept her body very still, while her other hand was held open, behind her back.

Xiro turned in response to her demand. He gazed at her though his hair. Xiro used the Pike of the Heavens to help himself up.
"This pike? I found it. What's it to you?"
Xiro continued wrapping his hands and turned away from her. He had no interest in killing women.

"You liar!" She sneered. "We found Kai-Ren scorched to the bone, with his Pike of the Heavens missing. You slew him, did you not!?"
She kept her body and face calm, though words of rage poured from her mouth. Her brother was not a warrior to be taken lightly, but the forbidden Darkflame was a weapon beyond most. She knew that only Darkflame could cut through a Holy Knight's armor and Pike.

Xiro sighed and turned to face her again.
"Look lady, if I said I found it, then I found it. Nothing more. Run along now, and I won't have to hurt you."
Xiro turned back around and headed for the gate. This woman wanted something from him, but he wasn't willing to give anything to her. There was only one person he could trust and she was in a coma because of him.

"I'll teach you to turn your back on one of the Ten Holy Knights of Kei'Inria!" She shouted.
A line of brilliant white light shot in an arc in front of Xiro, upon the ground. The light flew upward, towards the sky, its brilliance cast down upon him. The hand she had poised towards him arched backwards, and the wall of light did the same. As the light arced down on him, the light burning through the ground burned around into a circle, engulfing him completely. Closing her fist, Rixtae's light assault slammed together, smashing him.

Xiro watched her brilliant light as it engulfed him. Xiro smiled as the light slammed into him. A cloud of dust shot up from where the attack occured. When the dust settled the person standing there was no longer Xiro. This man was more than twice the size of Xiro, he looked more like a demon. The creature threw its arms into the air.
"DARKFLAME!" The creature shouted in a low, booming voice. The creature's arms were covered in darkflame.
"You should have listened!" The creature slammed his arms into the ground and it quaked beneath them both.
The nearby buildings began to shake, some even collapsed. The ground began to crack and open.

"You just don't get it, you stupid demon!" She shouted, laughing very softly. "If you'd simply evaded that, you'd be fine. But what you just let strike you was the equivalent of a gallon of holy water for each speck of light. Look at yourself, you're already losing your demonic power!"
Shaking her head loosely, she drew her sword.
"There's a reason why Demons, like you, do not rule this world. Simply because of Holy Knights like myself, who slay your wretched kind!"

"I'm the stupid one?" A voice asked from above the street.
"If you had been paying attention you would've noticed me smiling. I was never going to be hit by your attack. Oh, by the way, that really is a stupid demon. I summoned him to take the blow. Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got somewhere to be."
Xiro laughed as he leapt across the rooftops. He looked back in time to see the demon disperse completely. A deep gorge separated them, now.

Giggling, Rixtae floated into the air slowly, as her newly expanded, red-feathered wings flapped gracefully. As Xiro bounded forward, she whispered a soft incantation. A flash of light burst in front of the jumping warrior, and a portal of light opened in front of him as he jumped. She timed her maneuver perfectly, as his weight was already thrown. Even if he had the ability to see it before it occured, he couldn't avoid it. The portal sealed up instantly as he fell through, and she herself disappeared in a bright flash of light. The streets were as they had been ten minutes ago, by use of her power of Restore.
Xiro landed on a small platform of light at the bottom of the ravine he was forced into. Around him, all existance was white, and nothing existed except him, and his platform.
Rixtae suddenly appeared in the sky above him, her beautiful wings keeping her aloft.
"You idiot. You fell into my trap.. as easily as any other worthless demon." In a single moment, a Pike of the Heavens appeared in her hands. "The Goddess that reigns over Lyranthea has given these holy relics to only worthy warriors such as myself. She has given me her grace, while you stole yours from my dear brother.. for your transgressions against Her, you will perish." She swore firmly.
As she blinked, a vision came to her. A vision much like the ones she had received before; prophecies. In just the length of her blink, she saw this man's destiny.
