Quote: "I don't need your help!!"
Name: Rin Sasaki.
Name Meaning/Nicknames: n/a
Gender: Female.
Age: 17.
Race: Human.
Arts: Spirit integration.
Character Looks: She has bright, vivid violet hair that falls straight to her shoulders, usually kept up in pigtail on either side of her head. Though, she keeps her bangs and a bit on either side out to hang on either side of her head. Her skin is very pale, and her eyes are a very bright blue, almost turquoise. She stands at five foot seven in height. She wears mostly large black dresses with frills, ribbons, and lace that are either black or white. Her primary shoes are boots and she loves either black, or black and white striped socks that go to her thighs. She also wears a necklace that sits around the base of her neck, hanging down a bit in the front with extra decorations. She's never seen without it simply because she cannot take it off.
Allignment: Neutral.
Personality: Rin was once a very kind girl, thinking only of the feelings of others. But after finding the necklace and its curse, she harshly changed. So many people tried to help her, and so many people failed, that she no longer allows the help of others. She despises when they offer assistance. She doesn't talk much either, and if she does it's in an irritated voice, an attempt to make the person leave her alone. She's withdrawn now, relying only upon herself and no one else, since she believes now that no one in the world can help her and it's all up to her. She doesn't think she needs friends and would much prefer being alone, always. In order for her to willingly stick by your side, you have to do something that will really make her wish to stay, which is very difficult, in most cases.
History: Rin lived a fairly normal life, growing up in the castle that would one day be her own to rule. She loved this thought, and couldn't wait. She was going to be a model ruler, just like her mother, and always put her subject's interests before her own. But one day, four year old Rin was exploring the large castle, having slipped away from the maid who was in charge of watching her. She entered a room she'd never visisted before and explored every single bit of it. There, under a wardrobe against the wall was a small wooden box. Curious, Rin dropped to her stomach and pulled it out, opening it. She found a necklace inside, silver with black gems. Her eyes glistening, she instantly put it on, thinking it was one of the most beautiful things. It seemed to her that, since she'd found it, it would be hers to keep. So she wore it around while she continued exploring that room, searching every inch for more treasures. She didn't find any more, but didn't mind. The necklace was wonderful enough. However, a couple hours later when she finally was ready to take it off, it wouldn't budge. Frowning, the four year old began tugging on it face scrunched into a frown as she wrestled with the unmoving jewerly. It still wouldn't budge. And then something strange happened. She suddenly burst into tears, not of frustration, but of dispair. Then she ran to the nearest window, thrust it open, and jumped onto the ledge. She lurched forward and out, a fall that would mean certain death, but arms caught her at the last second and hauled her back inside. Rin struggled desperately to try making it back to that window, but the maid who'd been searching for her all day would not let her go. Finally, Rin passed out. The curse-It was discovered that the necklace belonged to a past ruler of this castle, Rin's grandmother, who ended up commiting suicide because of her overwhelming dismay. Over what is unknown. Now each time Rin tries to take off the necklace, she is confronted by the spirit of the queen that lingers inside the necklace. They engage in a mental battle of sorts, which Rin lost very easily while at the young age of four. She's getting slightly better at it, but the queen has a way of playing mind games, causing Rin to often lose herself without too much of a struggle. There have been several very close encounters where the queen almost suceeded in causing Rin to kill herself, which is her main goal. Entering Ria-For thirteen years, everything possible was tried, yet everything failed, one after the other. She refuses to accept the help of anyone now, determined that she will find a way to purify the necklace on her own. This is how she ended up at Ria high, planning to do research and observe people, though she will never stoop to the level of asking for assistance. No one can help her anyway... She did manage to find a bit of help, a suggestion here or there by someone she met, but it didn't work and ended up leading to her expolsion from the school. Leaving Ria-She left Ria with almost no knowledge of ever going. All she remembers is arriving, waking up in a hospital, and then suddenly being expelled. That's when she was enrolled here at Mirandal instead. Actually, what happened was she was posessed by the spirit after testing to see if another purification technique had worked. It didn't, and she was taken over. This time, she nearly did die. She broke her bathroom mirror and tried to stab herself in the heart with a shard. But someone found her and grabbed her arm, causing her to drag the shard across her chest instead of making a clean puncture. This also probably saved her though. She was brought to the hospital just in time and stayed there for a long time to recover. She is unsure of who it was though. She then regained her health, and was promptly asked to leave the school right after. She has no idea why, but she did note that she has a thin scar starting just over her heart and trailing right off her right shoulder. Her palms and fingers are also marred with a thin scar, as if she was gripping something sharp. She has no idea how they got there. At Mirandal-She recently discovered that it quite possibly could be an enchantment on her pendant, rather than a curse, considering none of the curse removing techniques tried thus far had any effect. She's in the process of finding out how she can remove the doubts she has about removing the necklace, so she can overpower the spirit and keep control of her body. Hopefully, the control will diminish enough that eventually she'll be able to finally take the necklace off. Or so says the person who's trying to help her. His tactics are odd enough that she's actually going along with what he's suggesting, even though she doesn't understand his methods most of the time and that ends up being a little frustrating. She's trying though..
Relationship to Main Character: None.
Any weapons/armor you have: None.
Any items you have: The cursed necklace she is unable to remove. It is silver with oval shaped black gems set in the middle of every connecting piece. [pictured right]
Any battle skills/magical powers you have: She has the ability to see and talk to spirits. She can integrate with them, where they posess her body and she uses their powers. It always tires her out extremely by the time she's done so she can't do it twice in one day, usually, without suffering the consequences.
Character Flaws: Rin absolutely despises getting help from others, thinking no one can do anything for her so she has to depend only upon herself. She's also cold and doesn't like talking with people. Deep down she's probably lonely, but she refuses to acknowledge that. She is extremely stubborn, refusing to even let someone make her smile.
Friends in the Realm: Yoshiro Long.
Enemies in the Realm: None.
Lover: None.

Quote: "Everyone wears a mask, some more often than others." "I am so lucky to know all those I do. Thank you so much..." "Please, do not worry about me!" "You're letting your happiness leak out!!"
Name: Kana Oshiru
Relationship to Main Character: None, but she knows Ryuzaki Fuijioka, Kira Pierce, and Kai Nakamura all slightly.
Gender: Female
Age: 18
Race: Cat demon
Arts: Wind manipulation; transformation
Character Looks: Kana comes to about five foot five in height. Her hair is black, kept usually in a messy ponytail at the back of her head. On each side is a large, black cat ear, and she has a black tail as well. Her skin isn't pale, but it isn't tan either. It's left somewhere in between. Her eyes are a crystal blue, always smiling. She has claws and fangs, and never ever wears shoes. On her back is a rather large scar, going all the way across about at her shoulder blades. She attempts to keep it covered at all times, but sometimes it slips her mind and she'll accidentally let people catch a glimpse, but she always tries to act like it never happened and isn't there. She wears a black sleeveless shirt, midriff, with a small but baggy golden netted top over it. She also wears thick bracelets and a single silver locket around her neck. It contains a picture of her parents, one on each side. A pair of small goggles sits almost constantly atop her head. Her shorts are baggy, black, and come to her knees. On each side is a slit, covered at intervals by red strips of fabric. Green belts hang from her pants at the sides. She has the ability to transform into a black cat with the same shining blue eyes.
Allignment: Good
Personality: She doesn't like invading on other's business, likely to just sit alone somewhere for hours at a time if it means not bothering them. Though, sometimes curiousity will lead her to unknowingly invade. If someone does speak to her, she warms up instantly, bright eyes shining happily at the attention. She is rather like a cat. Snuggling, purring, growling, hissing, random dozing, and other things of the sort are not unusual with her, though she is embarassed by them when it happens. Strangely, she doesn't detest water, but she doesn't particularly like it either. She can't swim. She is bright and outgoing, happy to be with others. If she gets down, she always tries to quickly pull herself back up. She hates ruining a good time, and always loves to have one. She's often paranoid about bringing others down, never wanting to disappoint, and small things that remind her of past events will send her spiraling into dispair, though she'll often find a way out again quickly. She also can't stand having people worry about her. She's easily embarassed and rather naive as well as very curious and easy to freak out, often over little things that don't really matter. If she hurts someone, it takes her a long time to forgive herself for it, and she's very trusting. She always assumes the best of people unless they do something to make her think otherwise, though somtimes she'll still keep up the hope they're good. If there's one way to bring her down instantly, it's to have her watch a fight, or try prying about her past.
History: Her history isn't as cheerful as you'd expect by looking at her. Her father was taken by an illness when she was young, about three, so she grew up with her mother. Then, less than a year ago, her mother suddenly fell ill as well and died shortly after. Kana was left utterly alone in the world. No relatives wished to take her in and she didn't want to trouble them with her presence anyway. So, Kana did the only other thing that came to mind; she left. She packed her few belongings and headed towards Ria High, since she'd heard rumors of how great a place it was. As a child, Kana often found herself in bad situations. Time after time, she'd drag herself home where her mother would go about tending to her wounds. But Kana refused to cry, and would constantly joke about her own misfortune. She'd say something like, "Wow, I was so unlucky today!" with a big smile upon her face, and then blink in bewilderment as her mother would begin crying and hug her. She has a scar across her shoulderblades from one of the harsher times, but it is purposely covered at all times. She has never shown or told anyone about it other than her mother. Her father never knew, he died too quickly... She also never really had friends before either, besides Karin Miyagi, since she was constantly getting picked on instead. But she still considers herself lucky for having such a caring mother. During Ria-Kana met quite a few people at Ria, but the main person was named Koichi. She thought for a while that she was in love with him, but then he disappeared and they drifted apart. She met another guy named Yuri who asked if he could protect her. She hated the idea of troubling him with her own problems, and that was a big influence in her leaving Ria and heading to Mirandal instead. Well, that, and the bullies of her hometown somehow managed to track her to Ria. She's afraid they'll come after her again and mess with her friends, so she disappeared without even saying goodbye, knowing if she did, she'd have been unable to bring herself to leave.
Any weapons/armor you have: She keeps a dagger at her side in her belt, though she prefers not to use it, and other than that has her claws and fangs if needed.
Any items you have: A few items of clothing as well as what she's currently wearing, along with her dagger.
Any battle skills/magical powers you have: She can manipulate the wind around her, but mostly uses it just for her own protection. She had someone teach her to better control it at Ria, but she's still not extremely good and lacks fighting experience.
Character Flaws: Though she tries her best not to let it happen, often she will lose herself in sadness and sometimes it's harder for her to pull herself out of it than others. She freaks out easily, and is quickly embarassed and very naive. Also, she absolutely despises fighting, is afraid to use her power, and the scar on her back starts throbbing when she watches fighting.
Friends in the Realm: Maeniel.
Enemies in the Realm: None.
Lover: None.
Pic: Wow... extremely horrible edit. ._.;; I'll do a better one later.

Quote (optional): "Just sit back and see where life takes you. Go with the flow.."
Name: Ryuzaki Fujioka
Name Meaning/Nicknames: Ryu
Relationship to Main Character None, but.. he knows Kana Oshiru, Kira Parker, and Kai Nakamura each slightly
Gender: Male
Age: Eighteen
Race: Demon
Arts: Flight, Ice manipulation
Character Looks: Ryu is very pale, and his hair is a pale blue, like shadows in snow. His very appearance gives away his power, which is the manipulation and conjuration of ice. His eyes are a bit brighter blue and he's rather fit, but it's hard to tell since he's usually wearing a large coat. He seems to have trouble with regulating his body temperature and is cold often. He is also tall, about six feet, four inches. He has a pair of black, leathery demon wings that are usually not in place, but burst from his back whenever he needs them. He also has fangs and claws.
Allignment: Neutral
Personality: Ryuzaki is extremely laid back, almost to the point where he may be considered lazy. He doesn't like to step into other people's problems. Even if there's a fight going on right in front of him, usually he'll just bypass it unless personally offended in some way, or he knows the person being harrassed. Sometimes his withdrawn nature can lead people to think he's mean or cold, but he's really just not really interested in what anyone else is doing. He's quite... apathetic and it's somewhat hard to keep his interest. He does seem to enjoy carrying around a video camera though. Most of the time, he's expressionless, but if he's in a good mood, or takes a liking to someone, a rare, soft smile will grace his lips.
History: He had a pretty normal life, except for the part that he's an orphan. Though, he's completely used to it. He's adapted to a life of switching between families until they found his secret, and then passed him on to the next. He was raised comfortably by one family for almost four years, when he accidentally sprouted wings. The couple, obviously freaked out by this occurance, put Ryu back up for adoption, and he's been shifting around ever since. That's probably where his obsession with videoing game from. He's documented every place he's visited. Now he's old enough to fend for himself and, upon hearing of Mirandal, decided to enroll. You can imagine his excitement upon acceptance. Well, kinda... He's pretty apathetic. Though, that can be blamed on his growing up. Due to his random habit of sprouting wings, he found it rather hard to meet people. Not to mention his claws and fangs tend to scare off potential friends. This didn't allow families to grow very attached to him, but at the same time, he didn't grow attached either, so it was easier to let go, since he knew they'd give up on him eventually.
Any weapons/armor you have: None
Any items you have: Spare clothing, a thick coat, and a video camera.
Any battle skills/magical powers you have: Ice manipulation and conjuration. He can shape ice into basically whatever he wants, and has gotten fairly good at controlling it. He also has wings so he can, of course, fly.
Character Flaws: He almost always seems to be cold. If his coat is removed, he won't last long before he breaks down shivering. He thinks it may be a side effect of his power. Also, during his stay at one of the families he lived with, he picked up a habit of saying 'love' after his speech, though mostly to girls. This could possibly cause some confusion... And he tends to video almost everything he sees, which a lot of people consider to be a major invasion of privacy.

Enemies in the Realm: None.

Quote: "...why are you talking to me?" "Jerk, shut up!"
Name: Kira Pierce
Name Meaning/Nicknames: n/a
Relationship to Main Character: None, but she does know Kana Oshiru, Ryuzaki Fujioka, and Kai Nakamura all slightly.
Gender: Female
Age: Seventeen
Race: Thinks she's human... Is really half panther demon of some sort.
Arts: Ice manipulation; Transformation
Character Looks: Kira is thin and slender, almost frail looking, very pale, and comes jus to five foot five inches in height. She has deep, bright blue eyes and her hair is pure black, goes just past her shoulders, and is never straight. Instead, it's naturally wavy, the ends curling slightly. She keeps it in a ponytail almost constantly, tied with a simple hair rubber band thing of varying colors. Even in the ponytail, it's very wavy. Small bits always fall out, and these she tucks behind her ears. [clothing] Her preferred top consists of a loose fitting t-shirt, either red, black, or gray, often with a band logo or name on the front. [like Avenged Sevenfold, Sum 41, Simple Plan, Good Charlotte, Lostprophets, My Chemical Romance, Green Day]. Or they might feature an anime character from her favorite shows [Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, Fruits Basket, Full Metal Alchemist, FLCL, DNAngel, Naruto, Yu Yu Hakusho, Inuyasha, and others]. She definitely has a few black Invader Zim shirts too. She never wears jeans. Instead, it's usually baggy black or camoflauge cargo pants, with large pockets on the thighs. Sometimes they're made so they can zip off at the knees, turning them into long shorts. She keeps a cell phone, a white iPod, and her wallet in various pockets of these pants at all times, with a pair of headphones sitting either around her neck or over her ears. They're the kind that fit over her ears, the band looping around the back of her head, and never the ear bud kind. The wire falls down in front of her and disappears into a pocket of her baggy pants. No matter what, she keeps a black, zip up hooded sweatshirt on. It's usually kept unzipped. On the back is an image of Kuroneko, the cat from Trigun. On the front, on the left side, is a picture of the cat's face. The sleeves are long enough that they hide all but her fingertips. On her left wrist, she will often be found wearing two bracelets, one red and one black. They're the kind that are really just broad, flat rubber bands with words in them. The black one says "Music=Life" and the red says "Give Blood". Around her neck, she is always wearing a silver heart shaped locket containing a picture of her deceased mother. It hangs on a silver chain. Her shoes are simply a pair of black converse.
Allignment: Neutral
Personality: Kira is someone you don't want to mess with. While she won't usually get angry enough to become violent, if you manage to get under her skin enough, she will throw a pretty powerful punch. She's usually pretty good natured, but is somewhat easy to irritate. Her smiles are never real, but instead are usually just small, half smiles. She hates worrying people and tries her best not to give anyone a reason to. If someone touches her, she tenses up. If a guy hugs her, her face flushes red. She's easy to fluster/embarrass but puts up a tough front almost constantly. Like, no matter how hurt she is, she won't let herself cry and just keeps saying she's perfectly fine. She hates when others realize she's scared almost as much as she hates being scared in the first place. Sometimes she does feel overwhelmed though. If she feels like crying, or doesn't know how to handle something, she'll hide in her room and cry, but makes sure no one will see. Even if someone sees her obviously crying, she's the type who will shout, "I'm not crying!" and stick with that lie no matter what. When she was little, before her mother's death, she was a very cheerful and outgoing girl. But now, she's become increasingly withdrawn. She doesn't usually make friends and is cold enough to those who approach her, that they begin to leave her alone. If she does get to know you though, she does tend to start warming up and acting more like her cheerfull, silly self. She is very protective of those she cares about. If they betray her, she takes it very hard and definitely holds grudges.
History: Her mother died when she was seven, and she hasn't entirely gotten over it, even though ten years have passed. Though, she tells everyone who asks that she's fine and gives no sign that it still bothers her. She does wear a silver locket with her mother's picture in it, never taking it off. Currently, she lives with her father and older brother. One day, she began to realize there was something slightly odd about her. She would touch something and it'd just freeze over! And sometimes she'd get strange urges, and catch herself purring or something. It was very strange... So she came here to Mirandal in hopes of finding out what's going on with her.
Any weapons/armor you have: None
Any items you have: A silver locket with her mother's picture, spare clothing, two rubberband bracelets.
Any battle skills/magical powers you have: Ice manipulation and the ability to transform into a black panther, though she can control neither at the moment.
Character Flaws: She's withdrawn and paranoid, not trusting anyone, which often leads to a lonliness that she's in denial about feeling. Her powers are out of her control as well, randomly going into effect.
Friends in the Realm: Al [somewhat..]
Enemies in the Realm: None
Lover: None

Quote: "I have courage inside me... I've just yet to find it."
Name: Yuki(ko) Hiragashi
Name Meaning/Nicknames: Yuki; Yukiko means "snow child" according to a site I found. >>;;
Gender: Female
Age: 18
Race: Ice and fox demon
Arts: Ice manipulation, transformation
Character Looks: Yuki is thin and frail looking, though she can hold her own in a fight through her ice magic, or at least that's what she tells herself. She comes to five feet, six inches in height, somewhat short compared to the others of her home, though she was never teased for it like others she knew. She is sixteen. Yuki's hair is always pulled to either side of her head in very long pigtails that pass her waist, held in place by a thin, black ribbon. It's a silvery blue color, almost like snow in shadow, and comes past her waist, almost to her knees, if let down. She has thick bangs that often get in her face, but she makes no move to shift them. Her eyes are a piercing ice blue, like staring into a perfect crystal, but always have a sad, far-off look to them. Her skin is extremely pale, almost white in appearance. She has a tail, long black and slender, with a triangular tip that almost never ceases its movement. Her fingernails are grown into pointed claws, slightly curved, and she has long canine teeth, more like fangs. She wears a long black dress, with slits starting at her upper thigh to allow for fast movement. Along her chest are random white flower prints for decoration, and it comes to a low v-neck at her chest. At the sleeves and along all edges is a white stripe almost bordering it. Around the waist is a black rope, wrapped around twice, and coming together in a silver metal circle with a single line down the middle for the rope to pass though. It comes together at the end, tied together more thickly. Her only jewerly is the collar she wears, around her neck that doesn't quite close. It's silver, with blue on each untouching end. She wears thigh high black socks and black boots for travel. She can transform into a small, pure white, three tailed fox with bright blue eyes. She does this sometimes to get away and not be bothered. The only person who knows of this ability is her father, since he was there the first time she accidentally changed. If Yukiko takes control of the body, she's more likely to sprout silver fox ears, and three fluffy tails.
Allignment: Neutral
Personality: Shy would be an understatement to describe her. She's very withdrawn, never the one to approach others first unless it's of dire need. Her voice is quiet and she's very hard to anger. She always has this sad feeling about her, even when she's smiling. Mostly she stays to herself, often staring into the distance for long periods of time at once. Yuki's very easy to embarass and blushes easily, often for no reason at all, the effects worsened by the paleness of her skin, and she has the most horrible self confidence/esteem imaginable. But overall, she's very nice and caring and, once you get to know her, very loyal as well. She worries about others often, and is somewhat naive and gullable. Sometimes, her personality will harshly change. This is in a horrible situation where her normal nature just will not do. Her fox demon side takes over, feeling that she's needed. She becames much more confident in herself, rarely blushing, and actually able to speak loudly and clearly without stammering, acting more normal. Usually this side comes out during fights or other situations of the sort, and she only answers to the name Yukiko when in this state. Though, if Yuki falls asleep or passes out, Yukiko is also able to take control of the body.
History: She grew up with her father, since her mother left shortly after her birth. Her father is an ice demon and her mother fox. Otherwise her life was fairly normal. She's also the only one who would try getting close to Kai Parker, someone from her home town, unafraid of the reputation he'd built for himself. When she was about eight, an injured boy of around ten came wandering into the town. She alone approached him and brought him to her house. There she cleaned up his wounds and questioned him. His family had been killed, along with most of the others of his home. Taking pity, Yuki convinced her father to let the boy stay, and they became close friends. He was like the older brother Yuki never had. He has come with her to Ria, and his name is Hiroshi Yamagato. She grew up teased often because of her helping him though, since there is some natural hate between demons and vampires. She was unaware of this when she took him in, but, since Hiro is half vampire, people looked down on her because of the kindness she showed him. She was often attacked at random as people tried to drive her and Hiro out of their village. Because of this, her cheerful self disappeared and she became increasingly more withdrawn, paranoid, and shy, until she finally reached the state she is in now. Her fox demon side lives as another person inside her. Once when she was harassed, she was knocked unconscious. The fox demon took control of her body and nearly killed the person, but Hiro managed to stop her in time. Usually the fox only comes out partially to help Yuki when she needs it, but if Yuki passes out, she is able to take full control to bring their body to safety. She has only left home to try furthering her own powers and to learn more of the world outside her town, and also in part to escape the torment of former friends. She experienced many good times at Ria, but finally felt it was time to move on. She left with a new found ability to actually befriend people and not stammer quite as often as usual. It's easier for her to warm up to others. But, it seems luck is never on her side. Yuki made the journey to Mirandal alone, since Hiroshi stayed behind at Ria to finish up some things. She was attacked on the way, and injured pretty badly, including a horrible blow to the head, not to mention a spell to erase her memory. Apparently, the attackers thought it would be "fun". Yukiko came out and took posession of the body when Yuki passed out, and made it all the way to the gates of Mirandal before Yuki finally awoke again. The only problem is, Yuki doesn't seem to remember anything at all, including her name. So now her inner demon Yukiko, who she luckily is on good terms with, is trying to help her remember.
Any weapons/armor you have: She has only a small dagger, kept hidden inside her right boot.
Any items you have: None besides the clothing on her back, and a bit extra. She was given a necklace that can enhance her ice powers.
Any battle skills/magical powers you have: Fair ice control and manipulation.
Character Flaws: She takes self confidence and self esteem issues to a whole new level, and can't even look people in the eye usually. She's sometimes rather clumsy as well. Also, she seems to have lost her memory, and doesn't remember anything at all about herself or why she was coming here.
Friends in the Realm: None so far
Enemies in the Realm: None so far
Lover: None
Pic: Give her a slender, black, triangular tipped demon tail, and this is her.

She can transform into a fox.

Quote: "Heh, that'll leave a mark."
Name: Kenta Nakamura.
Name Meaning/Nicknames: n/a.
Relationship to Main Character: None! But he does know Kana Oshiru, Ryuzaki Fujioka, and Kira Parker.
Gender: Male.
Age: Nineteen.
Race: Neko [with an unwanted demon sharing his body].
Arts: Fire manipulation.
Character Looks: His hair is black and straight, slightly layered so it goes to his shoulders in the back, and to his chin in the front. His eyes are gold and he's rather pale. He often wears a dark green hat upon his head, with two trianglular buldges where his cat ears are. There's a kitty skull and crossbones on the front in black. He has a black tail as well, that's always just hanging behind him. He also has claws and fangs since he is a neko. He wears green pants, often bunched up to stop just above his knees, and he has an off white long sleeve shirt. He's tall, about six feet, three inches, and is rather slender, though he's definitely not weak. On his chest is a seal, a mark of proof that the demon resides inside of him. When the demon's in control his golden eyes turn red.
Allignment: Neutral.
Personality: He grew up in not so good situations, so he's a little rough around the edges. He has a tough front but is secretly a good guy if you get to know him. He likes to have a good time, but he lets himself get agitated pretty quickly as well. If he gets too angry, the demon inside him is able to take control of the body and wreak havoc of some sort.
History: His parents were both killed when he was young, during a robbery of his house. They were shot, his mother while holding him in her arms, so he was hidden under her body when she fell. The burglars didn't notice he was there, ransacked the house, and left. This happened when Kenta was only three. Needless to say, it traumatized the kid for life. Since then, he's been bouncing between family members. No one seemed to want to keep him for very long. He finally ended up with a grandfather though, who wasn't your typical grandfather. While Kenta was staying with him, at the age of seven, he wandered into the basement of the house. He stumbled upon an old book and flipped it open, randomly reading a few lines to himself. The book happened to be a spell book, and the words he read just happened to release a demon that had been sealed. The demon made it's way into the child's body and has resided there ever since, biding its time. When Kenta grows angry enough to loose control of himself, the demon takes the chance to take control of the body and have a good time blowing things up until he's contained again. Kenta's grandfather has tried to teach him how to control the demon, but Kenta has always had anger management problems and has a difficult time in doing so. When the demon entered him, he suddenly found himself with a new found fire ability. Several times, he very nearly burned the old man's house down. Finally, as all people do, his grandfather passed away, dying peacefully in his sleep. By this time, Kenta was sixteen. He mooched off friends, staying the night with them when he could, but mostly found himself sleeping on the streets. He did attend school, which is how he knows Kira, Ryuzaki, and Kana, though he never got to know any of them that well. He got caught up in a gang fight at age nineteen and was arrested. That's when the local police found out about his fire manipulation powers, because he didn't exactly go peacefully. So, they sentenced him to four years, or more, at Mirandal University, and that's how he ended up there. He plans on using this time to find a way to get rid of the demon as well, before it permanently takes over the body, or manages to kill him, one.
Any weapons/armor you have: He carries a wooden baseball bat around with himself, often just resting on his shoulder.
Any items you have: Spare clothing, but nothing really besides. He's not exactly rich.
Any battle skills/magical powers you have: Fire manipulation and conjuration.
Character Flaws: He definitely has anger management problems. When it gets bad enough, the demon inside him takes control and goes on rampages. He doesn't have very good social skills, especially when dealing with girls.

Name: Ryuu Higa.
Name Meaning/Nicknames: Ryuu means dragon.
Gender: Male.
Age: Appears nineteen.
Race: Fire demon.
Special Arts: Fire manipulation.
Character Looks: For now, he looks exactly like Kenta, since he shares a body, unwillingly, with the neko.
Allignment: Leaning towards evil.
Personality: He is cold and withdrawn, killing without a second thought. There is just one person he has a soft spot for, and she is the only person. He constantly is mocking Kenta from inside the boy's head, never letting him have a moment's peace. While Kenta did free him, he was in turn trapped inside the male's body, and none too happy about it. There are a certain few ways you can get on his good side, but you'll have to figure that out for yourself.
History: Ryuu was a great and powerful demon, hundreds of years ago. He was sealed away into a book, of all things, that was passed down from generation to generation, until it finally came to Kenta's grandfather. Young Kenta, just seven at the time, had gone exploring around his grandfather's home, when he stumbled across a book in the basement. He read a few lines from it, and Ryuu was instantly trasferred into the child's body. The first thing he did was attempt to kill Kenta's grandfather, using the fire manipulation powers that transferred into the young neko's body along with him. The the body was small, and weak, and easily controlled by the old man. To make matters worse, Kenta was taught by his grandfather how to control Ryuu and keep him trapped inside. Luckily though, Kenta seems to have anger management problems. When he gets to a certain point, it gives Ryuu a chance to come out and take control of his body. Or, if Kenta passes out for some reason or another, Ryuu can also come out. The old man finally died one night in his sleep, when Kenta was sixteen. The boy managed to finish high school, a last wish of his grandfather, but was out living on the street or mooching stays off friends the entire time. Finally, at nineteen, he got himself caught up in some gang fight that he wasn't a part of. He just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. The police came, Kenta was arrested, and he was sentenced to spend at least four years at Ria. It was either that, or jail. Ryuu still insists that he could've easily disposed of those cops if Kenta had just let him, but the boy wouldn't even consider it.
Any weapons/armor you have: Claws and fangs.
Any items you have: None.
Any skills|abilities|mystical powers your character has: Fire manipulation.
Character Flaws: He is pretty much heartless, at least at first sight. He'll charge into a fight without a second thought, and rarely cares who it is he's up against. He definitely lacks social skills, after being sealed away in a book for hundreds of years.

Quote: "I wish people could learn to be more accepting."
Name: Kisa Yoshida.
Relationship to Main Character: None.
Gender: Female.
Age: 19.
Race: Wolf demon, and a little human.
Arts: Swordplay, Healing.
Character Looks: She has waist length, slightly wavy pure black hair with very pale skin. Her eyes are emerald green but change colors according to her mood. (Ex: Deep blue is sad, red is angry, pale green is sick, gray is hurt, pink is embarassed, multiple swirled is several feelings at once, silver is looking at moon, flashing between colors is nervous or confused, and so on). She's got two large black wolf ears on the top sides of her head as well as a matching fluffy black wolf's tail. Her fingers are tipped with long, slightly curved claws as well as her toes so she never wears shoes. Lastly, she has fangs in each corner of her mouth. She has three markings on her face. The first is a pale blue crescent moon that opens to her left. The other two are two red streaks under her left eye on the cheek. She's pretty slender, and stands at 5'8" in height.
Allignment: Good.
Personality: She's very caring and loyal, sometimes over emotional and too trusting. Kisa is usually shy but warms up to people quickly and anything concerning love embarasses her to no end so she'll blush a lot. She will never hurt for no reason unless she's irritated enough to do so. Don't get her angry because she sometimes loses control of herself and goes on the offensive until she's knocked out and/or returns to normal somehow. When this happens her eyes glow totally red, no other colors showing. Usually a very happy girl, she gets along with most people and tries to hide any pain or sadness she feels with the hopes of not troubling others with her problems.
History: Kisa's only about half wolf demon and half human so she was rejected by all except her own family. When she still was very young, only four years old, her home was attacked by a demon. Her parents and brother sent her to hide in the woods to stay out of the fight. When she finally got up the nerve to return, young Kisa found her home in ruin, the bodies of all the other villagers and her family strewn about, and the attacking demon struck down by her father. With a tear strewn face she took up her father's sword and left, hoping never to return. Since then she has wondered around with nowhere to go until she stumbled upon Ria. Actually, she's been here once before. She had a life, friends, and even managed to get married. But one day she was in the house her husband had built and someone broke in. She tried warning them to leave and was shot in the process. She always was one to try talking before resorting to violence. She was thought to be dead... But somehow, she's alive once more, except she has lost all her memories of Ria, and even recollections of her childhood are blurry. She somehow stumbled upon Ria again and, thinking she'd never been, tried to find a way to fit in with others she doesn't know. Only, she does in fact know a few people who might still be hanging around since her last departure. However, she never found any of them again, and because of this, was never informed of this being her second visit to Ria. Eventually she made her way through the school, and has moved on to the next level, an university. She made a few friends at Ria, though not as many as before, but what you don't know can't hurt you, right? Now she's moved on to Mirandal, starting over yet again.
Any weapons/armor you have: Just sword of her father. It's fairly long and broad but not very decorated. She almost always has this with her, strapped to her side.
Any items you have: A silver heart shaped locket with her parents pictures on one side and on the other one of her and her brother. She never takes it off. Also she helped a black kitten, who she named Kurri, and the two are now inseperable.
Any battle skills/magical powers you have: She is able to transform into a pure black wolf. You can tell it's her because it has emerald green eyes and the crescent moon and red streaks remain visable on the fur.
Character Flaws: She can temporarily lose all control of herself, going into rages, perhaps because of a fight she probably won't be able to win. She seems to no longer feel pain, and can badly injure herself without realizing it.
Friends in the Realm: Ayame, Daisuke.
Enemies in the Realm: None.
Lover: None.

Quote: "What would you give to live again?" "Do you believe in ghosts..?"
Name: Akane Zetsumei and Seishou
Name Meaning/Nicknames: According to a site I found, Akane means brilliant red, and Zetsumei means death. Seishou means spirit, but he'd rather just be called Sei.
Relationship to Main Character: None.
Gender: Female. Male.
Age: Eighteen. Nineteen.
Race: Neko. Spirit, previously human.
Arts: Necromancy; Healing spells. Invisibility; walks through walls. Before death, he seemed to have just.. something about him that drew people. That explained why he was always surrounded by people, or even animals in some cases. It was kind of like a calming aura that spread to those around him. He could also manipulate wind.
Character Looks: Akane has thick brown hair to her shoulders, and dark red eyes. Her skin is just slightly tan and she tends to wear black and nothing but black. She also has the typical neko features; brown ears and tail, claws on her hands and feet. She doesn't wear shoes, finding them uncomfortable. She is small, about five feet, five inches, and thin. Her stomach has a strange scar around the side that goes onto her back as well. It almost looks like she had a large chunk bitten out of her, which was later sewn back on. Sei, the ghost who follows her around, has shaggy black hair that's usually covering his piercing blue eyes. He's extremely pale, almost white, but that makes sense, considering he is a ghost. He stands at six feet, two inches, but can usually be found floating above the ground, which makes him seem even taller.
Allignment: Neutral.
Personality: She keeps to herself, but isn't really against talking with people either. Though, she's somewhat apathetic and might be a little difficult to get along with, unless she grows attached to you, which could possibly happen. You'd need to be interesting to her. She tends to scare people away when she talks to the spirit that's always hanging around her, since most can't see him and think she's talking to herself. She may not talk about the most pleasant things either. Sei likes to try freaking people out by becoming invisible and playing pranks, or suddenly reappearing in their face. He's pretty laid back and likes to play around, sometimes offending people. He acts like he doesn't know he's bothering someone, but he knows. He likes being anoying because he knows he can't be physically hurt in return. He can get really angry at times, and just starts ranting. He's usually fun to be around.
History: When she was young, about ten years old, Akane lost her family in an "accident". She was at a friend's house at the time, and her parents and older brother had gone out. They were caught up in a robbery and all killed. Akane became obsessed with reviving them, and turned to the dark arts of necromancy. However, she tried to soon, and failed in reviving them. She studied obsessively, locking herself away for days, and finally perfected the spell. But by then, she'd lost all attachments to her family, the reason she'd learned in the first place. She left home and began wandering, picking up a stray cat on the way. The cat, however, was struck by a car. Akane calmly walked over, picked up the corpse, and left, reviving it later. So now the cat, Kuro, follows her everywhere. She picked up a spirit as well, who she calls Sei (short for Seishou which means spirit), and he always follows her around. Now, Akane has made her way to Mirandal, and decided to enroll out of curiousity. Sei was having a pretty wonderful life. Popular with everyone, captain of the basketball team... But one day, he was just walking down the street, when a jealous classmate shot him in the back. Sei didn't cross over, and instead haunted the unfortunate guy until he finally commited suicide. Sei then just wandered around, until he came across Akane one day. Intrigued by the fact that she could see him, he just decided to stick with her, and hasn't left her side since.
Any weapons/armor you have: None.
Any items you have: It's not really an item, but she has a small black cat that is always with her. His name is Kuro, which means black. Actually, the cat is dead, but she's using her necromancy to keep it "alive". She also has a spirit that hangs around her always, just floating around in the background. He's good for conversations or company when she's bored. His name is Seishou, but she calls him Sei. Apparently, seishou means spirit, according a site I found.
Any battle skills/magical powers you have: Necromancy, the power to raise people or animals from the dead. She does so by chanting. She can also use healing spells. Sei just does all that a ghost can do. He can become invisible, move through things, float... When he was alive, he had a strange aura, that calmed people by just having them be around. He could also manipulate wind.
Character Flaws: She has a fascination of the dead, and isn't really affected by death unless it's a really close personal friend. (She doesn't have any family left to worry about.) So, she tends to come off as heartless sometimes. She's kind of bad at meeting people as well. Her social skills are lacking, and she doesn't talk that much. Sei doesn't really think before he speaks, and often offends people. Usually, he's aware that he's done so, but very rarely apologizes. So he can come off as annoying and rude.

Quote: "Eh? I did what?"
Name: Harumi Saito.
Name Meaning/Nicknames: n/a.
Gender: Female.
Age: Sixteen.
Race: Human.
Special Arts: Elemental and Healing Magic.
Character Looks: She has white hair to her midback, usually with a red ribbon on each side of her head, and bright red eyes, with fairly pale skin. She comes to about 5'3" in height and is average weight, not under, but not over either. Her clothes are constantly changing, as each of her personalities seems to prefer a different style. She'll range between a multitude of colors and choices, shifting randomly between skirts, dresses, shorts, and pants.
Allignment: Depends on her current personality.
Personality: Harumi has Dissociative identity disorder, which was previously called multiple personality disorder. It is the existence in an individual of two or more distinct identities or personalities, each with its own pattern of perceiving and interacting with the environment. At least two of these personalities are considered to routinely take control of the individual's behavior, and there is also some associated memory loss, which is beyond normal forgetfulness. One of her personalities is bubbly and cheerful, always willing to lend a hand. But, she may change at the drop of a pin, in an instant become violent and angry. Or, she could become withdrawn and bored, right in the middle of a conversation. Then there's her depressed side, which can often be found sulking somewhere. Her last side will become clingy and needy, often latching onto whoever she sees.
History: Harumi's parents were killed during a fire that mysteriously devoured their house. The cause is still unknown. At the age of five, Harumi was sent to an orphanage where she was shunned by the other kids. They soon picked up on her multiple personalities, even if her caretackers didn't. Even when she was in her cheerful mood, they ignored her, which led to her violent, depressed, and withdrawn sides taking over more and more often. One day, when Harumi was sixteen, one of the caretakers wandered into her room, because all of the kids had gone out to play but she had stayed behind. She found Harumi playing with a small flame, but found no way that the girl could have created it. And then, when she told her to put it out, water simply sprang from nowhere to drown the flame. After getting over her initial shock, the caretaker enrolled Harumi at Mirandal.
Any weapons/armor you have: None.
Any items you have: Spare clothing, a few personal belongings she managed to save from the fire.
Any skills|abilities|mystical powers your character has: Elemental magic, meaning she can use the powers of fire, wind, water, earth, ice, and electricity, some better than others. She can also heal injuries, ranging from broken bones to small scratches.
Character Flaws: The major one would have to be that she has five different personalities inside her. She'll just be talking calmly to someone, and then suddenly freak out and start crying, or shouting, or maybe just wander away without another word.

Quote: "This sure is a rotten world we live in."
Name: Emiko Komatsu.
Name Meaning/Nicknames: Emiko means "smiling child".
Gender: Female.
Age: Sixteen.
Race: Human.
Special Arts: Summoning.
Character Looks: She has straight brown hair that goes just past her shoulders, and large brown eyes. Her skin isn't pale, but it isn't tan either, and she's nice and slender, maybe a little too slender, standing at 5'6" in height. She tends to wear darker clothing, with bits of white. Usually with a pair of boots on her feet and a skirt with high socks. Her most common outfit is the one pictured below. It's also one of the few that doesn't have any holes or tears in it.
Allignment: Neutral.
Personality: She's a pretty withdrawn girl, after growing up surrounded by people, yet always somehow remaining alone. She'll warm up to people pretty quickly, always seeking friends. After years of attempts though, she's always expecting to be brushed off or ignored. Well, at least she's still trying to be friendly. She also tries to stay optimistic, but sometimes it's hard. Her seemingly constant smile tends to disappear when no one's around, and sometimes when people are around as well, if she's troubled by her thoughts or something. Most often, she's timid and quiet when she speaks. Though, if she gets excited about something she'll suddenly become a little more outgoing, only for that short amount of time until the excitement fades. She's always reminding herself not to get her hopes up.
History: Her parents were killed when she was young, and she and her younger brother were sent to an orphanage. While there, her brother fell ill and eventually died, leaving her completely alone. For some reason, the other kids never would have anything to do with her. So, she could always be found sitting on her bed or somewhere outside, reading. Her living conditions weren't really bad. She just tended to somehow make them worse than they should have been. She was ignored, so she tried extra hard to make friends. She'd overhear someone saying they were still hungry and give them her portion, often going hungry herself. Or, if she got a new shirt, she was easily talked into giving it away. This is why she's so thin, and most of her clothing is torn and old. However, one day she discovered she had a special gift. She could summon beings to come forth and do her bidding. The first, and only, time was when she'd volunteered to do the grocery shopping. She was walking down the street, arms full of bags, when a stray dog stumbled across her. It decided to attack, and she most likely would've been killed, if another dog hadn't come to her rescue. Only, this dog wasn't normal. It was pure black with glowing red eyes and large white fangs. This dog, which she's given the name Kumori because he's so shadow like [kumori means shadow], hasn't left her side since that day. Kumori scared everyone though, and eventually the caretakers of the orphanage convinced her to go to Mirandal, telling her she could develop her power further. Really though, they just wanted her gone.
Any weapons/armor you have: A demon dog with ghost like qualities, meaning he can disappear, usually in a swirl of smoke, and also can walk through solid objects. He is pure black, with glowing red eyes and long, sharp teeth. As any loyal dog does, he follows his master everywhere. She's named him Kumori.
Any items you have: Spare clothing, most torn and tattered, and an image of herself, her parents, and her brother when they were still a complete family.
Any skills|abilities|mystical powers your character has: The ability to summon beings to do her bidding. For now she's only does it once, and isn't even sure how it was accomplished in the first place.
Character Flaws: She's somewhat withdrawn and, though she smiles a lot, she really does let herself get down quite often. Also, the demonic ghost dog that follows her around may scare away any possible friends.

Quote: "I promise, I will protect you..."
Name: Hiroshi Yamagato.
Name Meaning/Nicknames: Hiro.
Gender: Male.
Age: Twenty.
Race: Vampire/demon.
Special Arts: Swordplay, Healing.
Character Looks: He has shaggy black hair that hangs in his purple eyes, along with very pale skin that never tans. He has slight claws, large fangs, and huge feathery wings that are even taller than himself, which is six feet exactly. The wings are completely black, able to shift around and encircle himself entirely. He wears black, usually a t-shirt, sleeveless, with baggy pants. Hiro also has fingerless black gloves that come up his arms, which he wears almost constantly. With his wings, and the two black cross necklaces he wears, he could easily be mistaken as an angel of some sort. But, he's a vampire and demon combination.
Allignment: Good.
Personality: Hiro changes fairly often. One moment he'll be perfectly nice and outgoing, the next withdrawn and cold. Mostly he'll be ready to meet new people, never wishing to be mean or cruel. But, if you rub him the wrong way, or do something to offend him or someone close to him, he'll grunt uninterestedly at whatever you say, or respond with sarcastic remarks. Occassinally he'll have a perverted thought, but he's usually too afraid to act upon it. He is very protective of those he loves and fiercly loyal. Overall, he is very kind and does not like violence. He wears a sword at his waist, but only to protect those he cares about. He will never make the first move and would rather simply dodge than fight back even if attacked. He'll even offer to heal the one who attacked him if they are injured. In accordance with his vampire blood, being in the sun for too long makes him agitated, though he can stand to be there for quite a while before feeling the need to retreat. He enjoys dark places much more though.
History: When he was young, about ten years old, his home was attacked and destroyed. His parents had just enough time to lock him in the cellar, which was underground beneath their house. He screamed and pounded at the door as hard as he could, but was answered only by the sounds of the fighting going on outside. He stayed there for several hours, until the wooden door finally gave in. Hiro climbed out and gazed around in horror at what he found. He saw his village in ruins, everything crushed or burned and bodies littering the ground. His own home had been torched, which was why the wooden door had caved in. After confirming that he was the only survivor, he left home with no reason to stay. Because of his vampire blood, wherever he went, he was chased away again. He sustained more injuries running from those who cast him out than from the actual attack on his home. So, he wandered into Yukiko's home, tired and beaten one night. He was about to be yet again cast out, when Yuki ran out and stopped them, offering to take him in. She brought Hiro home with her and bandaged his wounds, then talked her father into letting him stay. Nobody knows this, not even himself, but he is the reincarnation of a powerful demonic vampire. If something happens and Hiro snaps, then the vampire demon will take control again. With this change, comes a change in powers as well. He can manipulate the shadows, see perfectly well in the dark, his fangs grow longer as well as his claws, and he can control of dark energy of a dark, purplish black color. This has yet to happen though and it'll take a LOT to finally make him snap. After eight years, Hiro has decided to go with Yuki to Ria High, keeping a promise that Yuki doesn't know about. Hiro had promised her father that he'd look after her and keep her safe. Yet, when they decided to move to Mirandal, he stayed behind to finish some things, and ended up losing track of her. So now he's in the process of tracking her down again.
Any weapons/armor you have: A simple sword that hangs at his waist.
Any items you have: Nothing but the clothing on his back.
Any battle skills/magical powers you have: Healing abilities, recently discovered.
Character Flaws: Hiro becomes moody and irritated when out in the sun too long. Also, he will occassionaly be struck with sudden urges for blood, and always runs off when it happens, often disappearing for days at a time. He rarely eats real food, but sometimes makes himself just so others won't worry. If he gets so angry he snaps, he'll turn into the demonic vampire who he is a reincarnation of.

Name: Naomi Takahashi
Name Meaning/Nicknames: n/a
Gender: Female
Age: 17
Race: Angel
Arts: Healing, Ice manipulation
Character Looks: Naomi has gray blue hair nearly to her waist, usually just worn plain and down. Her eyes are of a matching color. From her back are two small, white feathered wings that she is able to expand when she needs to use them. She can very often be found wearing a pair of headphones atop her head or at least around her neck. Her skin is pale and she looks rather frail, standing at 5'6" in height.
Allignment: Good
Personality: Naomi is cheerful. She hates to be down and hates to see others down. She's somewhat adventurous as well, and doesn't like just sitting around and doing nothing. She always feels the need to be doing something. She isn't fond of bullies either, and definitely frowns upon them. She dislikes people who are always wallowing in their own self pity and can't stand seeing anyone hurt, even though she's been trained to fight. She's also been trained to defend those in trouble. She believes everyone can be happy if they just try, or, she'd like to believe that, at least.
History: Naomi was raised to be a gaurdian angel, who was meant to be sent to earth at some point to watch over the person she was assigned. But she didn't want to do this at all. She didn't want to spend her life watching over people, but instead she wished to spend it how she wanted. She knows she's being selfish and, though she hates herself for it, she still couldn't deny that fact. In an attempt to put it off, she convinced her parents to let her come to Ria High, telling them that she'd be able to train to become an even better guardian. Though, it was really just an excuse to find time she could spend for herself so she could slack off for the first time in her life. She dreads the day she'll have to return. She doesn't seem to realize that she tends to worry and try protecting people already. Her parents, however, did note this. She got a lot of practice with her guardian angel requirements during Ria, and they've let her move on to Mirandal because of this.
Relationship to Main Character: None.
Any weapons/armor you have: She carries a regular sword at her waist, and a dagger at her side, hidden.
Any items you have: A bright blue pendant, which is sort of a family heir loom.
Any battle skills/magical powers you have: She can heal through direct touch of what she is healing, and she can create and manipulate ice. She is farily good with a sword as well.

Quote: "....you're mean."
Name: Ashley Huggins
Name Meaning/Nicknames: Ash
Gender: Female
Age: 17
Race: Human
Special Arts: Telekenisis and mind reading.
Character Looks: She has dark brown hair to her shoulders that is wavy and very thick, and often somewhat frizzy as well. Her skin is very pale and she wears clear contacts that don't change her eye color from its natural green. She usually wears baggy black pants with a t-shirt that's either black or red in color. Sometimes she'll wear a navy one, but never light colors or white.
Allignment: Neutral.
Personality: She is friendly and hyper and clumsy and curious and depressed and shy and irritated all in one. She's just a bundle of so many different things! Often she's happy and friendly, but if you catch her in the wrong mood she can get pissed really easily, or possibly burst into tears for no reason at all. She always tries her best to hide this though and will wait until she's alone before letting any out. She is very likely to trip over her own feet while walking. She hates worrying people and doesn't like being mean to them either, unless she's in a bad mood. She apologizes a lot and freaks out extremely easily. She's also rather paranoid and has an almost childish cluelessness sometimes.
History: Ashley has grown up in a relatively normal lifestyle. She lives with her parents and her four younger siblings, three brothers and a sister. She's gone to school regularly and even got her drivers license recently. She played sports all her life and had a few close friends. Not crowds of them, but enough that she didn't feel too horribly alone... But one day she was sitting in class and suddenly started hearing a voice. She glanced around, but it faded so she ignored it. But, in her next class, she heard it again, accompanied by many more this time. Again she tried her best to ignore it. Though, when lunch came around and she was in that huge room packed with people, the voices became unbarable and she actually passed out from the strain. She found out later that the ability to read minds had suddenly awoken itself. So she was transferred to Ria to try learning how to control it. When Ria was finished, moved on to Mirandal. During her time at Ria, she's started to be able to control her power. She still accidentally listens in on people's thoughts without realizing it, but she's learned to do random things like project images to a person's mind instead of just thoughts. It works better when she's touching them though.
Relationship to Main Character: None.
Any weapons/armor you have: None.
Any items you have: An iPod, her laptop, manga, and extra clothing.
Any skills|abilities|mystical powers your character has: Telekenisis, which is the ability to move things with her mind, and mind reading. So, she can transfer her thoughts to others directly, and has even learned how to send images as well. Like, let them see what she's seeing.
Character Flaws: She grows accustomed to a certain routine and freaks out when pulled out of it. Coming to Ria is terrifying to her. Also, she's scared of bugs and heights, and has no self confidence or self esteem. She's lonely but doesn't like to admit it.

Quote: "Our time is short. Might as well make the best of it."
Name: Karin Miyagi.
Name Meaning/Nicknames: n/a.
Gender: Female.
Age: Seventeen.
Race: Cat demon.
Special Arts: Transformation; Water manipulation.
Character Looks: Karin as has black hair to her shoulders, which often falls over her right eye. She also has black cat ears on either side of her head, as well as a long, thin, black cat tail. Her eyes are golden, and she's five foot seven in height. She also has long claws and fangs. Her clothing is baggy and she dislikes showing too much skin. Often she can be found wearing a reddish hoodie, zipped up usually. Beneath it is a sleeveless black top and under that is usually a swimsuit of some kind. Her pants are green, with randomly colored patches sewn on, random zippers, and the right knee ripped out and replaced with netting. There are buckles on the ends. She does wear shoes, black and white ones. Headphones are likely to be found around her neck, or hapazardly placed on her head, balanced over the cat ears. She can also transform into a black cat with golden eyes. She's also gained the ability to turn into both a Nightmare and a blood demon. When this happens, her Nightmare form has red eyes, she's more pale, and her fangs and claws grow longer. She becomes completely apathetic, not reacting to anything at all. Her movements become sluggish and she focuses only upon attacking, not carrying about herself, or the opponent, as long as they're bleeding. Her voice becomes a monotonous hiss, though she rarely speaks, and she doesn't even seem to realize if she's in pain or not. She tends to stand in a slightly hunched over position, arms limp by her sides. Wings may grow from her back, large, indigo, and of leather appearance. She also answers to the name Kazumi. When her blood demon side comes out, her eyes turn and orchid color and she becomes much more violent, though she injures herself and then fights with her blood, shaping it into weapons.
Allignment: Neutral.
Personality: She is rather upbeat, but also rather cold at times. Her mood changes fairly quickly. Her childhood friend, Kana, is kind of a role model for her. She marvels at how the girl can stay so happy all the time, and strives to do so herself as well, even though she finds this difficult. Karin likes helping others, but mostly just if she knows them. If she doesn't, she dislikes to waste her time. She isn't easily intimidated and likes to put up a tough front, though she's really very curious as well. It's just in her nature, along with her random urges to rub, pur, or nap. If she does feel intimidated, she tries her best to hide it. She hates feeling weak, and hates having to recall too much of her past as well. Blood makes her nervous, instantly bringing up many memories for her. She cannot stand to see someone purposely hurt themself and is fairly stubborn.
History: Karin was Kana's one true friend. She often got involved in fights, coming to Kana's aid when she was picked on or tormented. This usually ended badly for the both of them, but Karin didn't have someone to go home to like Kana did. Her parents had both been killed during a home invasion. Karin had been upstairs when it happened, and came down to the strong scent of blood. She'd found her parents dead on the floor and the murderer gone. She was kicked out to the streets, though she somehow kept this secret from Kana. When injured, Karin would simply crawl off somewhere to lick her wounds. She's now an expert at tying bandages. She has a scar along her left side, what appears to be a long slash mark several inches long. It goes from her hip to just under her armpit. Her right eye is mostly blind as well, another fight injury. When Kana left, she had nothing worth staying for. Her involvment in so many fights made her a target for many of the gangs and bullies around, and most people wanted nothing to do with that, so they distanced themselves from her. Karin became a sort of loner, though she really longed for a friend. Kana was the one who would put up with her and was actually be willing to stay with her, so when she left Karin was in shock. She soon set off to follow her. She found herself at Ria High and quickly enrolled. During that time, shortly after her arrival, a wolf demon approached her. The two began to hang out more and more frequently, until they finally decided they were in love with each other and were rarely found apart. Due to this wolf, Suka, she gained two more forms. One is a blood demon, and the other a Nightmare. She doesn't really know how to control these forms however. When she left Ria, she lost Suka and hasn't found him since. She came to Mirandal, on the off chance he may be here.
Any weapons/armor you have: Her claws and fangs.
Any items you have: Her headphones and mp3 player, which she keeps with her always. She also obtained a small metal X that she keeps in her pockets, always fidgeting with.
Any skills|abilities|mystical powers your character has: Water conjiration and manipulation, and she can turn into a black cat.
Character Flaws: Karin is honestly a pretty withdrawn individual, but she's trying to work on it. Sometimes, she'll lash out for no other reason besides that she's irritated. She can also be brutally honest at times, and it's possible that she'll lose herself to pure cat instincts sometimes.
Friends in the Realm: Kana Oshiru, Suka Hinotama.
Enemies in the Realm: None.
Lover: Suka Hinotama.
