The Library

[Nyanfood]

As you make your way towards the khaki colored building, you notice that the entire front over the door is made of glass. There are actually people looking down at you from the second floor. The glass doors open automatically for you as you enter the enormous two story archiving building. Literally millions upon millions of books are kept within this library. The restricted section alone took up a fourth of the first floor. You see the librarians working at the information desk, checking out books and rearranging disordered ones. Rows and rows of computers line the sides, each in their own little cubicle. You can play games on it, and do whatever you like... but if you're goofing off, rules say that you must choose academics over entertainment. If someone needs that computer for research, please kindly get off before one of the old librarian ladies kick you to tuesday morning. xd The librarians are really strong... must be all the books they have to carry... The second floor and the basement also contain books. Need to find something, don't be afraid to ask!

Cid entered into the librarial structure as the doors opened and closed behind him, he wore his black button up shirt and some black jeans, his gloves and his glasses.. The smell of card board and books lingered through his nostrils and made him feel right at home. "My sanctuary," he said to himself as he walked through an isle, his sharp eyes scanning the book titles. The conjuerings of fire manipulation is the book that caught his eyes at first. Then White Flame manipulaton, and The Three Dragons of Flame. Quickly he grabbed the three from the shelf and walked quietly to an empty table and sat down. He began reading the first book, noticing it was the things he already knew but had forgotten from awhile ago.

He finished the first book and closed it, placing it to his right. Then as he opened another book, the dragons on his back moved restlessly as he read the dragon book. They were latin words, just what he was looking for in a book. His second language. Cid pushed his glasses up as they fell and read on, ignoring his dragons moving about his body. "Such knowledge," he said to himself lowly, hoping not to disturb other students here.  

[[Seven Shades of Sin]]

Sin picked a table setting in the corner of the second floor libary. A collection of books she had found. Lay in a simi circle around her. Each one laying open to a random page. Sin set hunched over a note book in the center of the simi circle. It was open to a half done sketch of a plant. Tiny notes in strange writing were written around it.

With an annoyed sigh she throw down the pen. Watching it bounce and roll off the table. leaning back in the chair so only two of its legs where on the ground. Her arms crossed over her chest. "Its not here!" She shouted before remembering where she was. Not that she really cared but getting thrown out before she was finished didn't seen to practical.

" Well Kappa what do we do next if i cant find it." She said to the green crystal tucked away in her pouch. She really didn't expect it to answer.Since he was most likely asleep.  

[[Seven Shades of Sin]]

Sin leaned forward in the chair. Sending it down with a loud snap. She hesitated for a second as an image of the glass floor shattering. Sending her, the desk and bookshelves spiraling to the floor. She gave her head a quick shake, dismissing the image. They must have taking that into consideration when building this place.

She pushed back the chair. Getting down on her hands and knees to crawl under the table. Retrieving the pen that had rolled off of it. Setting cross-legged under the table. Tugging at the white skirt to cover her lap. Emerald green eyes staring through everything. Her left elbow rested on her knee, her cheek rested in her hand. The right hand twirled the pen around her fingers. For the first time she let the sleeve show off one of her badly burned arms. Scars running from the back of her hand all the way down to her elbow.

“That’s it!” Sin shouted. Forgetting she was still under the table. She only stood partly up before running into the solid wooden barrier. She dropped back down to her setting position. Both her hands came up to cup the back of her injured head. Muttering a string of colorful words.  

[Your Own Choice]

Tucking her wings around herself, Tenza walked in through the library doors, which opened automatically infront of her. 'Good', she thought, 'not one of those old fashioned libraries where their is no modern touches or organization. Not that a little mess is a bad thing,' she smiled, thinking of her bedroom and the state it was in.

Looking around herself, she breathed in the sight and smell and feel of the library. Not fulll of dust, unused and unloved, but not plasticy and antiseptic. Perfect. Not looking for anything in particular, she let her eyes scane the shelves, picking op titles and replacing them, here and there. Potion Creation for beginners, Fire manipulation for those scared of fire (the point being?), Magical Mask Making, Illusionry. This one she kept out. Illusionry Such as simply and innocent title, betraying nothing except the most general information. Maybe she would find something interesting in here to learn or discover.

Leaning against a nearby bookcase, and letting her feet slip until she was sitting on the floor. Crossing her legs underneath her, so as not to trip up anyone, and curling her wings around her to make her own little alcove, tenza began to read.

Cid walked through the library, the books were alaround him, his face was emotionless and uncaring of others for non coud care for him. The only thing in his mind was books of ancient latin, which he found without trouble and fire manipulation.

The atmosphere around him seemed cold and dead, he felt this way at the moment. He flipped through his pages and continued reading quietly when his fire danced across the table playfully, as two small figured dancers. He smirked and read on in latin still.

Shii walked quietly through the library scanning the shelves.She was just shy this way,but she was always blushing afraid she might do something wrong.She had several books in her hands and was swaying from side to side.The books literally piled up past her head,as she peeked around them to see.She was the librarian's assistant seeing her love for books and poetry.Her hair was black and straight going a all the way past her waist past .Her eyes were a cold blue color....yet showing a sign of kindness.She was wearing a dark grey school uniform with a red tie, and short frilly skirt.The shirt was white with the dark jacket over it.She has thigh socks and a nice pair of dress shoes.Suddenly she lost her footing starting to fall...

Cid's hand shot toward her and flames erupted pushing the girl up and the books floated with his fire. The flames didnt singe or burn the books abit and it was like a gust pushing the falling girl up. "You should be more careful," he said as the books landed saftly on his table. Cid looked the girl over and then said, "Are you okay miss," he felt sorry that she had fallen. Cid half closed his book and waited for the girl to respond as his fire dissapeared.

The slowly opened her eyes to look over at the boy.She blushed and bowed her head not saying anything.Her dark black hair fell in her face,as her pale figure looked ghostly.THough....she was beautiful....nice figure and skin....pretty.The girl picked up the books and took the over to the counter looking back at the boy.She finally walked over and stood there staring at him.Her voice was quiet and meek,but sweet like a little girl's."T-thank...y-you..."

Cid started to laugh slightly but held most of i in. "You're welcome, he said as the figures stopped danceing on the table and his fire gone again. Cid had been gone long and had aged due to war, but he looked the same and still acted as before. The long past he had was erased from his death before. Michael had killed him but he was brought back due to his dragons that he still knows almost nothng about. He was like an empty shell now, alone and uncareing of his still unshown destiny.

Shii's face remained expressionless as she looked him over.She gave a confused face and tried to remember where she had seen this face before."....Ah, Shino-chan!"She smiled giving off a warm feeling.Her voice sounded stronger now as she took a seat by him."Um....m-my name is Shii...do you know anyone by the name Shino?"

Cid's memory clicked and an image came to him. He remembered a girl holding him as he bled from a wound. Cid clenched his chest and his body pulsated twice with his heartbeat. "I don't know, that names rings back memories but I dont know why," he said as he collected himself and rose his head up to look at Shii, "I'm Cid," he said as he fixed his glasses, "why do you ask?" he said as his back burned slightly.

Shii smiled brightly tilting her head making her hair fall over her face to one side."Your her lover no? A long time ago she sent me a picture of you and her."She straightened back up as a sad look spread across her pale face."I-Im...the one Shino's brother was supposed to be engaged to..."Her eyes watered up a little as she tried to hold them in."You do know about the death corps correct?"

Cid looked confused by the girls gestures, "I dont know, I cant remember much of my past since I died, All I know is that I am older and that I am king of Baron once more," he aid still looking confused by it all. Again the image of the girl shown in his head, her eyes, her hair and her face all seemed familiar too him but he knew not how he knew her. "I dont know who the death corps are," he said honestly though the name rang a bell but no memory.

Shii sighed looking even sader now..."Oh..I guess I thought you were someone else."She looked a little shocked...and then...stared at the floor."Lost your memory did you? "She thought that now was the time since he didnt seem to remember.She just had to get this guilt from the pit of her stomach."Just...as a random thing....I want you to know..I ...was the one who killed Shino's brother...I didnt know it was going to go that far.....they told me he wouldnt get hurt..Though they said they were going to question him..and I would get some money."She sighed feeling all the pain rise then ease back into her system."Then..recentally...I heard that she was with you last in a room at the school..Then I got word from the death corps....that..she had been killed."The words choked her as she tried to swallow her sadness.Now he is going to think Im nuts or something....Though i just had to tell someone she knew....Even if they had lost their memory...
