Okay so what I thought would be cool is if each person wrote something about their Avatar that connects to a story. The setting is going to be pretty vauge... so here goes.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
the young, half-squid, black haired girl sighed as she made her way through the over-crowded streets of Gaia. people knew her as liar, but, for some reason, it had extended to liar57. not many people called her the full extent of that, only either liar or 57. she didn't mind though.
as the small dragon that was sleeping in her arms shifted positions slightly, it was then that she realized she was being watched.
"it's probably because of the way I look. I mean, it's not every day you see a half-squid person in public. either that or it's because of Mirin." she said, glancing down at the small dragon.
"gway?" liar57 smiled as Mirin looked up at her, hearing his name.
"don't worry Mirin. we'll be home soon. all I need is to get a train ticket and we're home free. but knowing my luck, something will happen that I wont be able to get on the train." she said, continuing down the street.

He came from a part of the ocean, and lived in a poverty stricken underwater village. In his old village, it was common for squiddians to eat anything they could get their tentacles on, even humans. In his part of the ocean, squids developed bigger mouths to fit this kind of lifestyle and were generally bigger. He traveled to Gaia to try for a better life but was finding it hard to think of humans of friends instead of food. He had already eaten a mochi that had been left alone, and soon regretted it after the gaian who owned it found him and chased him with a katana, he was lucky and escaped. He walked the streets looking for others like himself hoping to make a friend.

as i sat and watched decorated box running around looking for others looking like him. I jumped in front of him and introduced myself as giggles. I to am looking for others like me! "Please do not eat me or my dragon, I come to say I like to be friends!" "We can join each other to see if there are others like us."

liar57 tilted her head to one side as she noticed two other people. one was like her, a half squid, but the other was full squid. as she walked up to them, she smiled as she began to speak.
"hey. I haven't seen you around before. but then, I havent really been here long. my names liar57. whats yours?"

"Eepp!!" he jumped back and sprayed Giggles in the face with ink in surprise. "Okay, I'm a bit new to the surface world and where I came from it was okay to eat anything you felt like. I'm learning though, see I made a friend." he held out a happy looking coco kitty that was licking the tentacle he held it with.

"it might be ok to hit whomever you feel like down under the water, but the surface world has different rules. you can't just hit somebody for being curious and asking a question."
Mirin yawned and lazyly flittered down onto liar57's tail, falling asleep on it, while liar57 curled her tail around Mirin, preventing him from falling.

I sat on a wall and watched hey_it_is_me walk around the town looking for someone to talk too. I did not say anything not knowing what the human would do to a half squid.

She was quite content in her little space…even if it was sitting on a box in the noisy street but she didn’t mind. Her eyes or…eye in this case searched through the crowds, looking for anything interesting. She had watched what happened earlier from a distance, deciding to stay away incase she got involved or something of the sort. She spotted Hey_It_Is_Me and sniggered slightly at the thought of him being lost, leaving him be instead of talking to him. After a while, she went back to looking through the crowd.

Kikay watched the other half squids greet each other from her spot underneath a tree. Yes, she was like them, but she wasn't all to social. She grinned behind her hood as Fireball shifted on top of her head. Fire ball was her dragon, he helped her through a lot. Kikay has been in this town a while, but always hid so that she wouldn't be spotted. Who knows what some human's would do if they found a half squid.
