Reserved for Varian, Ritsuki and Dierdre.

And what about the others? Surely someone wondered? Because they weren't the only fae on gaia. Never mind the courts. What about their tutors? Ferroc, Xang, Ae, Talent. If they had felt the need, surely, surely the tutors had too?

And Ritsuki. Well. She knew exactly where the tutors were located, didn't she? And surely she wouldn't go around.

How suspicious would _that_ look? First she's inside already, and next, she's trying to go somewhere entirely different! As if she was up something.

Poor chit.

Which turn to make... Right, or left? Forward or back? Through the door, or continue on to the next one? So many questions, but each time, only one answer. It was easy to get confused in the hallways, but Ritsuki was doing her best. It was one thing to get to the entrance, but a whole other ballgame to get back to where she came. The fact that there were no lights didn't help in the slightest. Regardless of all these factors, she was still continuing on. Maybe it was her desire to find the other fae, or maybe she just wanted to make sure the two kids with her were safe and comfortable. Probably both, but that wasn't in question. What was in question was her sense of direction.

But she was doing her best, and at the moment, it was all she could do. What she wouldn't have done for the power to locate them easily... But from what she'd seen, her mirror was the only thing that could help. And that was sitting calmly on her bedside table. Not the best place. "This should be the right way." She commented to the others with a smile. Once they found the tutors, some of their questions might be answered. Though Shy was the real one to ask. There were fae looking for him, too, though. She was confident they'd find him safely. "Are you two all right so far?"

For a moment, she turned back to look at the children. Most of the teens had split up, so the kids would probably be safe. At the moment, they were their responsibilities. Though Ritsuki thought of them more as compatriots than bothers. Which was probably why she could smile at a time like this.

The tall fae child wandered the halls following a hopelessly lost teen fae. Dierdre could not believe how daft this was. It wasn't as if she'd asked to get paired with a fae of no sense of direction and a boy who may very well have been a girl.

What a horrible turn of luck. At least when Gage had been dragging her along he'd had some semblance of knowledge of their destination. Or how to get there at the very least. Now her fate was in the hands of someone that was at the most, incompetent.

Feeling surley by the time the older fae spoke to her, Dierdre merely answered, "Aye, I'm as fine as any other under the circumstances." Well the bright side was they were out of the wind.

"Have you an idea or where you're going?" she finally asked.

Varian would likely not consider himself 'alright' until he was seated somewhere in comfort. But he supposed he was passable at the moment, when one considered the circumstances. But that didn't mean he had to be anything but grumpy about it.

"Of course I'm fine."

Cool words, because the little blonde didn't much care for either of the people he'd been stuck with, for that matter. Though of all of them, the one with most cause to complain was probably Ritsuki - but he didn't care about that.

Crossing his arms across his chest and with his head tilted at a high angle, somehow the child managed to send the impression that he was looking down his nose at his two compatriots - it was exceptional when one considered his height, especially compared to the teenager.

It was even more amusing in its arrogance, of course. And it seemed like he was content to let the other child speak for now, waiting for Ritsuki to answer that question.

Ritsuki nodded to the two. She continued down the hall, taking a few turns every so often. There was only a basic idea of where they were. ...It wasn't good that her 'basic idea' was that they were still in the lab. But from the looks of her surroundings, she guessed that they might be relatively close. It really would have been better if she had actually been paying attention to the directions that had been given the first time she came. But it was too late for that now, and she had no choice but to continue on.

There were no real reasons for her to complain. Not in her mind, anyway. Just because the lights were down, she was stuck inside of her new home with a storm keeping her and the others pinned in, with no way of knowing if everyone else was all right, didn't mean this was a bad situation. And the fact that she was stuck with two fae children that didn't seem to have a particular liking for the other. Or her, for that matter. And also the fact that she was probably hopelessly lost, and would have to try to make her way to her own room. Nothing that bad.

"Yes, of course! We're on our way to my room, because I have something that should help us find the tutors." She nodded happily, turning back to face them. This almost made her collide with a wall. She managed to stop herself just before she hit it, and laughed. ...Definitely not the fae you want to be leading you around a dark building that's nearly completely foreign to you.

What a lost cause, really she would've been much better off sticking with Gage. This woman had no idea where she was going, and what was worse, even if Dierdre chose to leave and go off on her own, the older fae had made so many turns, she'd probably get lost on the way back.

Even more, it seemed the girl/boy with them had something awfully straight and long stuffed up his arse. Dierdre, from the side of her vision, measured him/her up, she had about a good 4-6 inches on him. So, from her vantage point she literally looked down her nose at him, sent him a bemused and somewhat dismissive smile and turned to follow the older fae again.

Huffing a breath, she re-phrased her question. "Have you any idea how to get where you're going?"

"If you paid attention, you'd notice she said she had something to tell her 'how'."

Varian did not like that look on the other child's face - no one could dismiss him. At least, not some silly little child (and of course, he ignored that he was also a 'silly' little child. Selective memory and all that).

And his haughty tone, combined with a sneer directed at Diedre, made his displeasure with her clear. Then he turned his eyes onto the teenager, his expression turning more scornful then haughty. Why was she leading them around?

"A map, I take it?"

Or maybe a GPS. It seemed like they needed it...

So... it spoke did it? Ugh, perhaps, if it were possible, this one was more slow witted than Kayce.

"And maybe if you'd listen, you'd hear she was heading for her room to get it. If you understood the language skills at all, you'd have known I was asking if she knew how to get to her room." Because from the looks of it... she did not.

Again, she gave him an indulgent look, normally reserved for someone slow of mind. And again, she turned away with a tired sigh. Some people... they just didn't realize how pitiful they were.

One of the doors at the other end opened. Or rather, it was flung off, hidden the wall right across it with a strength that seemed to cause the hallway to shudder. A flurry of voices, then-- too intermingled with each other to make any kind of sense.

Except for-- well, maybe ******** seemed some of the fae had spent enough time with the local denizens of Gaia to pick up more than a few habits.

Just as bodily as the door had been flung against the wall, a fae seemed to follow the same action- hurled like a sack of dirty clothing and hitting the wall with a soft crunch that wouldn't seem nice to anyone.

Groaning, the fae rolled his eyes. Tall, with red skin and dark red hair, he was one of Ritsuki's tutors-- and looking worse for wear as he hurled himself back into the room.

Whatever it was, something was happening. Would the fae run in, or hide?

"It's not a map. It's better." Ritsuki smiled. All she could hope for was that she could use it correctly this time. They might all be in the same room, which she'd have to search for. And if they were somewhere she didn't know about, then they might never find them. "Right now, not really." She smiled. Of course, she had known the ray back. But that was back when they were still in the entrance. It was kind of useless now, considering she had no idea where they were anymore.

She was about to try to calm them down when a loud bang distracted her. She winced when the door hit the wall. For a moment, she was about to turn around and go the other way -it didn't seem safe. Then -even though he was cursing loudly- Xang made her incredibly happy. It was relatively normal to see in a bad mood, but this seemed worse than usual. Probably because he'd been thrown against a wall. Instead of calling out his name as she normally did, Ritsuki walked quietly towards the opening in the wall, motioning for the younger two to follow her. What could be going on? She had to help, though it was unlikely that she knew how.

Feeling his lips twist in a soundless growl, Varian opened his mouth to make some retort - he wasn't quite sure what yet, but it would be suitably witty. Coming from him it couldn't be anything else.

He was a bit distracted when a fae flew out of a room then dove back in. That was certainly effective in distracting him, and he stood there for a moment merely blinking in confusion. What?

Eyeing Ritsuki doubtfully, Varian still followed along silently after her. Why on earth were they going towards the violence? If there were adult fae, they could surely handle it. But he followed along anyway, because he was curious.

Even if he didn't want to actually fight, it could be interesting to see what was going on.

This whole matter was ridiculous. People flying out of doors, women with no sense of direction, and a boy/girl who thought he/she was clever. Twas a mistake to come with these two, that was for sure. How was a body supposed to find anything with them around?

What was worse, there seemed to be no stopping it, surely they'd be investigating the matter now. The downed fae was older, and he wasn't looking so great at the moment. And all Dierdre could think was that hopefully, even in his battered state, he knew where to go and what the hell was going on.

The closer they drew, the louder the tussling sounded. "Dammit, Trojan, don't let it get away!" Xang, voice a little more strained after the impact.

"But what about-" Came a second male's voice, hesitant and perhaps unfamiliar. This was not Ferroc, though it seemed that Xang was going to be bossing him around.

"Go." A snarl, followed by a rapid shuffling of matter building friction with the floor. To Ritsuki's immediate left, there was the sound of movement low to the floor.

"Who's there?" A feminine voice demanded, cautious yet strong. As if whoever this female was willing to take on whatever came through the door. The tone a protective mother might use, perhaps. "Show yourselves."

There was most definitely something strange going on. It was chaotic, to say the least. And that moment was not a time for running, but a time for finding out what was going on in the building. They needed some answers, and time was of the escence. If the fae were going to find out what was going on, then the best place to start would be... To find out what problems there were in that room. "We're just some curious fae, promise!" It wasn't as hard to see her as it would be if she were, say, Donnie, but still, in the darkness, it wasn't as easy as it would have been in the light. Ritsuki made a movement forward so that the source of the voice could see her better, if she was looking in their direction.

So there were at least three fae in the room. It was good to know that she knew one of them. But where was Ferroc, if he wasn't with Xang? The two were rarely apart -at least when she'd seen them. In the back of her mind, she told herself that Ferroc was definitely safe, just somewhere else in the labs, possibly taking care of some other type of insanity that was going on. Violence was never a good sign.

While most children would have been frightened by now, Varian seemed to have no understanding that he could possibly be injured. After all, who would ever want to harm him?

...alright. To rephrase that, who would want to harm him that wasn't another child?

Stepping behind Ritsuki (he did have some measure of self-preservation, apparently), he spoke up, scolding Ritsuki. Ha! Like anyone would believe a random promise from someone in the dark.

"And you honestly believe whoever this is would trust a random voice, in the dark? Ha!"

Older people were so dense.

((*snicker* I feel sorry for Ritsuki, having to deal with Varian..))
