It was shortly after Midday when Gwylen strolled down the gangplank of the ship and on to the warf of Tortuga. Being as hot as it was there were few people about, and they were mostly drunks passed out in the shade. She was going to visit Giselle, as the whore had said she might know of a few men willing to crew on Fate.
A slight grin crossed Gwylen's face as she wondered if the other woman would even be awake at this hour. When she reached the front of where Giselle was staying she chucked a pebble at the shutters and called up.
"Giselle....Giselle!!!" The grin on her face widened a bit as she got no answer. Nope, not up yet.

Jack strolled across the docks, looking at ships and crews alike, he needed to find a ship he could commandeer and a crew to man it. Well if it came down to it, he could take Anna Maria's boat. He smiled to himeself, and continued his walk.

After a couple minutes of yelling, Gwylen finally go the response she was looking for. There were a couple muffed thumps followed by what was likely swearing. It was then that Giselle's head popped out the window with the most annoyed
"What's it you want?'' Gwylen has ever heard. Mindful that laughing was not the best course, she struggled to keep a straight face. "What of our bargin, I have yet to see anyone down at the ship."
As though this was entirely beneath her notice, Giselle rolled her eyes and repiled shortly. "They becoming when they come, I ain't made no promises." Adding almost as an after thought, "Specially not to the likes of you." With that the window was slammed shut, and more muffled swearing could be heard.
Not surprised, and more than a little amused, she turned to head back down to the docks.

Tortuga was nowhere near the place she'd choose to be left at. But, for a pirate, it was like heaven. Before that, Stara had never set foot on the island. As a younger child, she was adviced not to by her father, and her guardian. But now, those two would have nothing to fear. The years she spent with a bunch of strangers, said to be family friends, had made her hard and quiet. Even if she wasn't really taught how to swordfight, she'd know how to defend herself. Like they would say, a good defense is a good offense. So her skills in combat rested on her speed and her ability to avoid almost any hit. Once that was covered, all one had to do was draw their sword, and push it forward.
Nonetheless, there she sat, atop a barrel with the word "Rum" scratched into it, while Bahari strolled around his owner's legs. In her hand, she held a note with the name Gwylen Lloyd on it. Before parting from him, Zackery had heard around the town that this woman was looking for a crew, therefore, told Stara that she was the woman she should talk to. You see, word travels considerably fast on Tortuga. True, she had no real manner of identifying this woman, so she decided to just wait by the docks until some woman made her way towards a ship, her head held high, being followed by a group of men appearing to hold back. It's like Zackery said: "No sea man will follow a woman unless he be getting paid, therefore, he'll not look too happy." With a deep sigh, Stara quickly put the small parchment as Bahari leaped onto her lap, to just sit and wait.....and wait....

Jack's mindless turning of alleyways and street corners he took, brought him to the alley next to Giselle's abode. He could hear people talking, but if it wasn't about something that could help him he normally didn't care. Then he saw a woman walk by, an attractive looking broad. He started walking behind her then decided to get in front of her.
"Hold up there love. I heard you mention a ship in need of crewing. And I" he said striking a pose "happen to be a captain, savvy?" he smiled at her waiting for a response.

((a note to you all, Bo is a girl yes, but no one in the liveing world knows it and if they do they are in spain and have taken her for dead. Yes In Spain not from Spain! so you are to approch her as if she was a guy))
Bo was passed out on the docks by some form of lost drinking game with her and the boys. Apparently she had lost conciousness allong with a few other of the guys she was playing with.
All she could remember when she woke up was that there where two guys already out cold from the game and she was about to do something stupid, as usual. When she looked around herself she discovered that her drinking pals where still out cold and a new ship had just docked. Bo rolled off her bag of flower that she was useing as a pillow/bed to look around, holding her head from the hangover as she walked to look over this new boat.
"'Fate'.... What kind of a name is that for a ship?"
she asked in that sour tone one uses when he has a hangover.

Hearing an apparently drunken man walking behind her, Gwylen held her pace steady while placing a hand on her knife. It was Tortuga after all. Seeing him dart up and get infront of her, she left the slightly scaracstic grin on her face as she listened to his proposal.
"A Captain you be? What need have ya for a ship then?" She asked, her tone only a bit mocking.

He grinned even more "I'm in the market as it where. Say that i may have found a ship, but i can't pilot it all by me onesies savvy? So love are we agreed or do you need more of a proposal?" he held out his hand in the drunken demenor that Jack always had.

Bo walked up and down the length of the boat on the dock, looking over the ship. It wasn't in half bad shape ether! Not to mention it was loaded with weapons. It did look a little familer though.... HOLD ON! now that she thaught about it this was a Navy ship! what was a Navy ship doing in Tortuga?!
Bo was truely confused. Oh well... If it was just the Navy ship why not go see if they have anything worth takeing? After all, it was the Navy who put her in this position in the first place they deserved to be stolen from.
Bo helped herself aboard and began checking out the deck, starting with the helm and moveing to the front gradualy examining the boat from port to starbord. Ah, what memories this braught back.

Gwylen laughed and shook her head at teh fellow antics. More than half drunk, and after Fate? "If ye be in the market, what happed to yer last ship? Fate don't need any bad luck brought aborad."
Starting to walk back to the ship, she clearly expected him to follow. "Besides which, what be yer qualifications for sailing a ship at all, much less captaining one?"

"Somehow, I pictured the famous Captain Jack would be taller......" With playful eyebrow flick she continued to walk toward the ship, but stopped at the edge of the hill, looking over the harbor.
"There she is." Myyth gestured to the sip on the very end of the warf, and suddenly her facial expression shifted somewhat. "You're not the only one taking an intrest." She'd spotted someone waltzing around on deck, and it annoyed her slightly.
"You'll be bringing your own rum, and if you'd care to elaborate on your proposal as we walk down to the ship, I will consider it."

And all you would have to do for it is carry old Jack along for a little bit, besides love, of choices, captain or no captain, you know you've always wondered what it would be like to sail under a real pirate." he grinned at her and added "savvy?"
