I only just started but I can play some songs, just at a slow pace. I can play 'I Liked You Better Before I Saw You Naked On The Internet' by From First To Last almost at the same speed. Otherwise, nothing yet.

Oh, and also I'm trying to learn Basket Case by Green Day right now.

Honestly, I know so many songs I couldn't even list them here because I'd probably forget some lol! The most recent songs I learned are from when my band was bored so we decided to do some SOAD, so I know most of their songs now. Also I tried some slipknot again...still ain't fast enough sad and some TOOL- I'm actually getting most of Vicarious!

I'm upset now. I've been playing for 4 or 5 years (can't remeber) and I still can't play any good songs. I have a really good teacher too and I practice just about every day. Do any of you guys have any good recommendations for how I can play harder songs? It's mostly SOAD stuff because that's what me and my friends "band" (it's just us two) is mostly playing. Thanks for your help guys!

Danny Carie's beats are often off-beat tom rythms sad . Danny is a really odd drummer because he studied numerology and bases beats off of it. Most of SOAD is easy and funny to play though.
