Okay, so this is the thread where I tell you what is going on. That business stuff.
Okay, first off, we need members. Plain and simple.
Secondly, we need other Ninja other then Sound. We normally get a lot of Sound Ninja and this time is proving true as well. We have more Sound nin then all the other nin combined. I'd like members to branch out and reach for other villages, Rock, Sand, and Leaf are good choices at the moment.

Howdy there members!
Well, I know things are moving a little slow and most of us find ourselves with nearly nothing to do with our characters. Never fear, another Mod and I have thought up a way to fix this little thorn in your side.
Missions. It's what keep our villages running, but sometimes, we're just not liking the missions were handed or feel like we aren't getting enough to do. Here's the answer.
Write some up. Yup, that's right, take the time to write a mission for your Kage to approve and let you accomplish. Say you want to prevent a raid? Or you want to protect a visiting noble? Or you feel like practicing your assassination skills? Then write something out.
Now here's the deal, and you must pay attention here. ALL mission ideas will be sent to me, Marie-Jay. I will read them over, sort, and approve. Then, according to your home-village, I will send them to your Kage(GM) and then they will approve or deny the mission for you.
Now wait a minute here, you won't be getting plot changing mission, just little day-to-day missions. The big plot turners are up to us Mods to create and screw up. ^^ So, feel like giving it a try? And make sure to have it detailed as much as possible, three 5-sentenced paragraphs - try and leave no loopholes for me to find, because I will get you now and again. ^^ This is also a great way to practice your RPing skills and attention to detail.
Remember, any questions about this I am more than happy to answer. And if it's a question about something else - I'm still happy to help you out. That's what we Mods are here for. Don't be afraid to ask for tips, RP practice buddies, or reports on your skills.

Alright, the next announcement!
Topic for today?
Summer!
Okay, so summer vacation has begun, and no doubt we will be taking some time off to vacationand forget the world and its troubles. We will be gone, for a week, two weeks, some even a month!
So, when you are going away and you know you are then please! Please! Give us warning, get together with the people you are rping with and tell them! And try, try, to get things to a clean break where you won't hold your partners up.
But, should something happen remember, rpers, that we encourage to hvave more then one character. Why? Simple! One, it helps with boredom because we are a slow and steady board that likes to wait for people to post so three is no pressure. Two, it allows you to post as someone else if you get held up with another character. And Three, you get to branch out your writing with different characters, cultures, etc.
So, during this time of freedom please be patient with those that leave for breaks, I myself will be gone soon. You never know when you may be leaving and you will be glad you were considerate of others, cause we will be considerate of you!
This has been another emergency broadcast announcement by the Management.

Alright, guys. Some of you may be wondering why a few of the mods have been absent. Well, in my status, to be blunt, Gaia's new layout is destroying my computer. Really. I can barely get on and off pages without the internet crashing on me. I hope you all understand my difficulty with this.
I don't mean to be such a terrible manager of the Guild in Akita's place, but I scarcely have access to anything. I wish I could change what's going on, so I can RP, approve members and whatnot, but it's becoming improbable at the moment, and it's frustrating me more than you know.
Hopefully by next week I'll have the problem resolved. Again, I'm really sorry for being such a bad replacement manager of 2.0. I couldn't feel worse. We worked so hard to bring the place back up, and now it's going in flames again.
I pray this message gets posted before my internet crashes.
EDIT: The system is freshening up a little bit, it seems, after deleting my cookies. I'll try to be a better Guild keeper from now on.

Come on guys, ^^;; You know I don't like doing this, I've watched a few of the threads over the last few days of posting and I have to say... I'm not too pleased with what I have seen.
I know it gets hard from time to time to write something for a post. I just ask that you try a little harder. Remember, detail is important. I'm not asking you to be as a**l as me when you post. Just make sure you put certain things in there.
Like, sight - what does your character see? Is there a disturbance in the distance? Are there children playing? Is there a fly in front of you? Anything! It may seem stupid and not worth mentioning, but putting detail into that post is what makes you a great RPer!
And I don't want to see you guys making long post and then all of a sudden you revert back to your two sentences. Nah-uh, I'm not having it. If I see you guys posting something that isn't at least three or four sentences long - I'm pulling you out of the RP for testing.
And trust me, you don't want to be tested. If you can hardly do one paragraph with a minimum of three sentences, you guys aren't going to make it with five paragraphs that I'm going to have you do.
So, listen up, take this seriously, and do as you're told. Detail is important, no matter how small. Remember the senses, sight, touch, taste, smell, sound, use them. This Guild was made for good, respectable RPers and RPing. I don't mind a three-sentencer now and then, just not post after post after post.
And believe me, if I have to - I'll butt in and train you guys to post. I will get you and test you time and time and time again. Until you can at least make a paragraph of three good sentences. But I am going to expect improvement. So long as I'm here, I'm going to help you guys get better and no slack.
And if this seems unfair to you, that's fine. I usually don't rage on like this, but it's getting a little slackish in the threads for some of you. If you have a problem with this, please, feel free to PM your questions or complaints, I'm not a Mod or mother for nothing.

Depending on the character you want to have, I've decided that I'm going to be giving a test to those who want to make characters higher than Chuunin rank, even if you are already in the guild.
To have a Jounin character: Five paragraphs, with dialogue.
To have a ANBU character: Six paragraphs, with dialogue, and interaction with another person.
To have a Missing-nin character: Six paragraphs, with dialogue, and interaction with two other people.

Ya know, I haven't really paid much attention to it, but you members really haven't posted anything else on the thingy board here. I know we're trying to keep it clean, but this is like... sterile clean. And I'm feeling uncomfortable with it.
Well, I'll give a call to another Mod here and see if we can work something out where the members could be allowed to make threads. No overly-randomness stuff, but we'll see. I mean, this is a Naruto Guild, but come on - even I get bored with that from time to time.
But that probably doesn't count.. because of my undiagnoised ADD. xD

First and foremost, I owe everyone here an very big apology!
I'm so sorry that my duty here has been lacking and that my presence has disappeared almost completely. School has started and the teachers are off with a bang. I am currently unable to meet the needs of this guild, so I TRUST that you guys are behaving and doing well.
Two, I probably won't be on much more anyway, our internet is very tempermental and is being an absolute pie-hole about working for me. So not only will I be on less, but I will be slow. u.u;;
Three, I can't say for sure, but I believe the other Mods have all but given up on this place. I'll admit, it will be dead for a month or so, but once we ease up and get control of our lives again, we might come back.
I will, that's for sure. I'm not abandoning this thing completely.
Four, and I know it's not all of you doing this, since I'm not on as much as before, and my computer is retard -- DON'T SEND ME CHAIN LETTERS OR PETITIONS! I will not sign any of them and that just serves to tick me off and waste my time and computer's temper.
Please, remember to only send me a PM to ask about something here on the guild, or if you have a question about anything else. BUT PLEASE -- no meaningless nonsense. I beg of you.

Well... I know the guild is running really slow. So probably this won't affect anything -- I know that a couple of mods and I stay in the background, as of right now you'll probably have no mods watching.
Due to things in my life, I will probably not be looking over the pages on the guild. THUS, if I find one thing wrong when ever I may return -- no warnings, no strikes, and no lectures -- YOU ARE OUT OF HERE.

I know it is dying in here and we've lost a number of mods, but I hope we will bring this place back to shape.
I know I am not on so often, but I appointed C.J.S. as a new crew member. And in due time I may even recruit more of you to be a mod, in which also would ask you all for your activness in the guild.
