Post your favorite character of the day in here and why you love them!

For me, my choice for the day is Ichiban Kasuga since ichiban makes sense for the first day of this topic! Kasuga-san is the lead character in Yakuza 7 (Like a Dragon) as I know I've told you guys before! He's headstrong, incredibly loyal (almost to a fault), and one of the most friendly and trusting guys you'd ever meet. He's loves Dragon Quest and thinks of the world a lot like an RPG. He can have many jobs in combat, but his original one he fights with a baseball bat. His story line is really deep and interesting, but he's an inspiration to me as a person and general badass in terms of fighting too. Side note too: I also love that he is old. I still have awhile until 42 years old, but knowing someone like Ichiban is out there improving himself and living an interesting and fulfilling life after taking the fall and being in prison for years is pretty awesome.

Also love the loyal and friendly aspects of a main character. As a Hufflepuff, I find those traits endearing….but as you said sometimes being too loyal or too friendly can have it’s faults!!

Okay so obviously i have to go with my boy Cloud Strife because he means the world to me as does ff7 as a whole. 1) he’s pretty and hot 2) he’s went through a lot of s**t, stuff he doesn’t even remember, get’s his head ******** up by an alien and his mean boyfriend and still manages to save the world. Just because he wants to. 3) he doesn’t know exactly who he is. I think this is because of the trauma and spending 5 years in a tank, but also he joined the military when he was 16, so before I’ll that, he had spunk, even if he wasn’t the most talented. And then after the “trauma tank,” he feels like he has to be all cool because he thinks/wants people to think he’s a SOLDIER. It’s like having imposter sydrome for real, and I can relate to that. I am constantly trying to figure myself out, too. And I like that even though he’s stoic, his sarcastic ness always comes out. Also, he’s willing to dress up like a girl to save his friend. And he looks good doing it! He’s super hard on himself, and i can relate to that too. But his strength is for real, no matter how he came by it, and he wants to use it for good, or to just ******** off and hopefully find happiness someday. Thanks for coming to my ted talk.

Cloud is a really cool character in his own way, because to be honest, he isn't really that cool. I think that is the best part of it that so many people like FF7 and really the main guy, yes he is strong with a sword when you play the game, but he's not like some macho dude power trip guy.

For Day Three, it just timed up this way, how about Mario since it's Mario day! I never played a ton of Mario when I was a kid but I loved playing Super Mario Galaxy a lot and can see why people really like the games. I really like Oddessy too! I just think for me, Mario has way less to love than Sonic, but that doesn't mean I don't like the games.

WAYYY behind, but I finally got me crappy laptop up and running so I can post a little more freely now.

For my first character, I wanna talk about my favorite white haired pretty boy with a giant a** sword. Of course, I'm talking about Psaro the Manslayer! He's the main villian of Dragon Quest IV and he's SOOO HAWT! I know what you're thinking, but TTTTT he looks like Sephiroth! WRONG, this s**t came out in 1990, so Sephiroth look like Psaro. In all seriousness, Psaro is one of the best DQ villians. He's the chief of monster kind and he HATES hoomans. But other than that, he's actually really really nice (to like animals and other monsters and stuff). He falls in love with an elf named Rose who took pity on humans and stuff, so he was cool for a while, but eventually greedy humans found Rose and murdered her. At this point Psaro went nuts, declared war on humanity, and unlocked the Secret of Evolution, which enabled him to continuously evolve into the perfect monster bent on destorying all hoomans at the cost of his own sanity. Tragic, and amazing. This boss fight marked the first time in an RPG where the last boss continously transformed in one fight. Normally you'd fight (final boss a), and oh no! this aint even my final form cut scene, then initiate (final boss b). This was more like OH MY GOD HES ALREADY AT BOSS B LEVEL, hey i just chopped one of his arms off and hes weaker now....OH MY GOD HE JUST GREW ANOTHER ONE. I decapitated him HOW IS HE STILL FIGHTING, why the ******** is his stomach OH MY GOD A FACE CAME OUT OF HIS TORSO AND HE GREW ANOTHER HEAD HURRY THE ******** UP AND HEAL. Best boss fight, ever. Also, he plays the flute. certified geeeee
