exclaim Announcement! The role play is officially open and accepting character profiles. Profiles will be accepted until end-of-day Sunday, December 15th. After that, the role play will be closed unless you have made special arrangements with JerP.
The role play has a total of 6 spots available (this may be negotiable). 3 have been reserved/claimed.
Hope to see some new profiles! If you have any questions, please feel free to PM me or to comment here! smile I'll be starting the RP with an introduction post soon but I will ask that others do not respond until we have our full party. Thank you!

Hey all! After some discussion and in the interest of keeping things even and fair, I have revised some class and race abilities. Here's the gist and please feel free to ask questions:
1. The ability/quirk mentioned in the "I'm so special" section of the character profile now refers to your class ability. For example, a wizard is able to wield magic. A rogue can fight with daggers and pick locks. A barbarian is able to double wield two weapons and go into a beserker rage.
2. Only humans are able to have an additional feat/skill/ability not related to their class. This was decided in an effort to make the races more even. Humans often get the short end of the stick and we want this to be fair to them. Remember, werebeasts are able to transform in different creatures, elves are faster and wiser, dwarves are able to withstand more damage...let's throw humans a bone.
3. Remember that we are not playing D&D. We will not be rolling for every action. Stats and everything else in the character profile is in place to try and keep things fair between characters. Rolls will mostly be used for randomization or to make decisions in a stand-still. Most things, if logical and fair, we will simply allow to slide in the RP. If your character is a charismatic bard, probably just going to let it go that he charmed the barmaid into giving him another drink without a roll. Make sense?

One person has asked for an extension as she is travelling abroad. I will likely make the first post anyway so we can get going and people can begin formulating responses. We just won't move more than intro posts without her. smile

I will try to be as active as possible, at least for the next month, but I am going back to school next semester and don't know how long I will be able to keep it up. I think it works as my character is gonna be kinda a surly hermit type, and prone to going off and disappearing by himself lol. So i'm fine with any post skips that may need to happen. I'll try to let everyone know if I'm getting too busy and if I need to take a leave of absence for some time. I'm excited to RP with everyone though! heart

So exciting! I wanna post right now but I think my character would wait until the absolute last minute to introduce herself so I may wait until last (or close to last) to make my introductions. I can't wait to get started this is going to be so much fun! heart Everyone's characters seem really amazing so far smile

Wheee! Thank you for the extension. I got my character profile posted, and I'll fix the image tonight after I leave work and get back from the doctor. (picked up a wee sinus infection while traveling. GO FIGURE.)
