Background: I was born among humans, but was taken from them at an early age. A mage raised me, trained me in the ways of magic that I thought were just stories. By 10, he made me do a summoning rite. That's where I met my partner -whom I was forced to make a pact with-, as terrifying as he was, he protected me. It's because of him, I found out that my teacher was my abductor and he was using me as a weapon to find others like me.
With the help of my demonic partner, I ran away. Soon, meeting an elf that trained me in the ways of a blade. I stayed with him while my partner went searching for my lost family. Once he told me of my sibling, my mentor and friend sent me with his best wishes.
I hit it off with them as friends. I didn't know how to tell them. But, my brother was smart and crafty. He found out and gladly welcomed me into the family. My sisters shortly followed. He then invited me into the family business. I loved it. I could actually combined my skills together. Out on a mission with my brother was when I found him.. A shadow dragon. As if he could sense something, he took interest in me and tested my abilities. In a moment of panic, I summoned a wall of water. I wasn't even thinking of a spell. It just happened. That's when he told me why he took interest. I had a tiny bit of sea dragon's blood. So watered down from centuries of cross-breeding, but it was enough.
After a couple of years, training, honing and experimenting with my element as well as my skills I was taught. Now, like the water I control, I can change my appearance from my clothes to my hair and eyes. But, it all changed. I was working as a guide to some humans when we were attacked by vampires. I held them off till my charges were safe. When I tried to escape, however, I was out numbered, bitten.. To my surprise, I lived.. If you called it that.
I returned home and everyone helped me cope. the dragon even made me promise to feed on only him. I loved him so I agreed. We then married and I bore him twin girls and a year later, a son. The children unfortunately inherited both elements, his dragon's blood and my vampirism. They are still young and I'm trying my best to raise them, but it's hard when their father is gone, leaving me to hunt while teaching them right and wrong.
