Hey! It's recently come to my attention I'm probably not the only practicing witch in this guild so I thought I'd extend a nice new thread.
I'm a secular witch--no religious affiliation or nothin, just divination and good will practices for me. I only recently started practicing as of roughly eight months ago I think? I'm very new to it and wanna meet more folks and discuss....I dunno, whatever! What do you guys do?
And if you aren't one but are interested in it, that's cool too! Feel free to ask stuff maybe someone will have some answers smile
As for me, I really only focus on divination with tarot cards and my crystal pendulum at the moment as well as minor cleansing spells, sigils (mostly gender related) and charms. I haven't had the chance to really dip into much else yet.

I have been pagan for about eight years and I dabble mostly in astral projection and the mythology behind the religion. I like learning about others experiences and compare them to my own. I didn't know anyone else was into practicing witch, this is so cool! XD I've always wanted to learn but I am worried that it may backfire so I have only read books and stories about it so far.

Awesome!! I hope more ppl will join in ^^ What kinds of stories have you heard? I've honestly always been more afraid of astral projection ahah. I have a friend who once did it and had a very bad experience with it. :')

She was a fortune teller of sorts and told me I should become more aware in what I was doing. I had no idea that what I was experiencing was astral projection until that point. I might try spells again but I think I should find someone in person to show me how it's done and learn from them. XD It'd be safer than the first time.

I've been a practicing Wiccan and witch since 2013 so not that long. I've been practicing solitary since I don't know any other witches around my area.
I'm a celtic wiccan but I mostly work with Irish and Welsh deities. I'm very fascinated by Morrighan for some reason. Might be the crows/ravens. I've always loved those birds.
I also practice green witchcraft. I love the idea of nature helping and guiding us in so many ways. I'm thinking about exploring astro or star witchcraft. I've gotten into spacey things lately so yeah.. cat_sweatdrop
I'm also learning tarot and I'm interested in learning about lunar healing, healing touch, elemental magic, pendulum, water scrying, tea leaf divination, energy purification, and intuitive drawing.
I guess it's obvious I'm interested in healing cat_razz
I have a side blog on tumblr dedicated to my learning about being a witch and all that.

I've also been interested in learning more about astro and space witchcraft ahah That's awesome though! My queer platonic partner got me a bag of wooden runes for christmas and I've just started trying to experiment with those. I definitely wanna learn half of the stuff you're learning too haha I also have a tumblr side blog but mine is half art resources and half witch resources. Meditation isn't like trying to achieve something specific it's about returning to a natural state. You can't remember anything as a baby or when you sleep and dream. Try to let your mind settle usually I imagine a river or just focus on breathing. It might help to do an active mediation like standing meditation.

Oh cool, I'm glad there's others that want to learn about space witchcraft! I've been having a hell of a time trying to find resources for that though. xp
Oh yay! I'll have to check it out! mine is littlemissgreenwitch.tumblr.com 3nodding It's mostly green witchcraft stuff but there are some other stuff too. I try to update it whenever I get the chance.
