 Hyperborea had decided to patrol the park tonight. she had chosen a slightly out of the way the path. It wasn't lit by street lamps but She could see with the light of the stars and moon. She preferred places like this, they were unlikely to have innocent people around and she could truly enjoy the stars.
She decided at one point to leap up to the branches of a tree to get a better look at the night sky. It was relaxing, she felt like she could get lost in the seemingly infinite stars, that she could escape from all her problems.
In reality she knew she could, she could run away to her wonder and only have to come back for food. But she also knew she couldn't do that. She had her responsibilities here on Earth.
She wondered how many of the stars up there were wonders or planets. There was so much about the cosmos she didn't understand and it all fascinated her.
Her rainbow sash glittered in the starlight. She wondered which star belonged to her Hyperborea. All the while she felt the aura of a super senshi approaching her. She decided to let the senshi come to her.

 The approaching aura was not moving very quickly. At least not at first.
The night had been a quiet one, the signs of a chaotic signature nowhere to be found. It was the sort of thing that generally annoyed Juno (unless of course she happened to be patrolling with Puck - with whom she could always find some sort of fun). However she'd had a pretty good past few days the weather was actually nice, so by the time she reached the park the senshi had been willing to give up on her hunt for monsters to beat on. It didn't hurt that she'd found a pretty fun distraction.
The trees in this section of the park weren't too far from each other. So Juno had taken to grabbing one of the lower thick branches and swinging her body back and forth before finally propelling herself off, her goal was to get close enough to catch a branch in the next tree like a monkey or squirrel and keep going. It was not a goal she was actually succeeding in, but at the very least she was getting close. And the last couple of attempts had been really really close! She'd get it eventually, Juno was nothing if not tenacious.
The lower branches of the tree Hyperborea was in shook mildly, making the leaves rattle loudly as the branch creaked under Juno's weight. She'd just begun the motion swinging back once and then forward when her eyes caught the flash of white. It was hard to see through the leaves (and the fact that she was swinging) but it looked like a white dress.. with rainbow accents. Her mind immediately went to the woman she'd met in the subway not long ago.
"Hey Verona!" The Brazilian called out, her words cloaked in her heavy accent, as she shifted her hands so that on her next swing she was able to make it up and over the branch, stopping the motion and herself by sitting onto the branch. It only took a moment for her to push herself up, before beginning to manually climb the branches higher. "What are you d...?"
She didn't have to get far to figure out the person above was in fact not Verona. Pausing in her climbing she peered up more carefully, her brows furrowing mildly. "Who are you?"

Hyperborea looked downward at the source of the voice and aura. She was a bit surprised to see the Brazilian girl with long braided green hair climbing up her tree.
Verona, she knows Verona. Oh thank goodness I didn't scare her off then. I still hope I can find her and apologize one day. She thought to herself at the mention of her fellow Cosmos knight.
She decided to sit down on her branch and make room in case the senshi girl wanted to come up.
"I'm afraid I'm not, though we are part of the same order of knights so I understand the confusion. I am Hyperborea of Cosmos." She called out in a friendly voice.
"Feel free to join me if you wish Mademoiselle. I wouldn't mind the company." She invited.

She could have jumped of course, or used her magical powers to bound up the tree without effort. But that wasn't Juno, who seemed in fact to take pleasure in hauling herself up each branch, muscles in her arms and legs flexing mildly with use as she slowly crept from branch to branch upwards.
Knights were a weird thing to the Amazonian. She knew of them, acknowledged them as allies, but in her mind she'd never really cared to think of it much more than that. The mention of them being of the same Order 'Cosmos' was a strange tidbit that she did not know nor had ever thought to ask. But now that it was said it explained the similarities in their uniforms. For a brief moment she wondered what sort of knight Scholomance was, and if she'd have to worry about not accidentally knocking the s**t out of any other knights that she mistook for Negaverse agents. No.. she was getting better at paying attention to auras. And now that she did, she could feel that Hyperborea was stronger than Verona had been.
The branches were getting slightly smaller as she went higher, but the one the knight sat across was still firm enough for the weight of both girls. With one final motion the senshi of the canopy finally pulled herself up and onto the branch beside the other girl, just in time to glare at her skeptically. "You call me what?" The whole sentence has sounded pleasant enough, inviting even, but the sudden appearance of a word in which she had no clue of the meaning put her on edge. Mademoiselle There was no word at all she could equate even slightly to it in any of the three languages she knew. Was it an insult?Aurelius Ambrosius I find it increasingly hilarious that she keeps running into British people or people that speak other languages. XD heart

When the other girl glared at her Hyperborea backed up a little, some what shcoked. She had never had to explain the term mademoiselle, let alone offended someone with it, didn't English speakers sometimes use it.
"Um mademoiselle, it means miss or ma'am. Its just a term for an unmarried girl. I don't know your name yet." She tried to explain. "I'm sorry I just fall back on my first language, french, sometimes. I'll try to stick to only using English if you'd prefer."
She hoped she hadn't offended the other girl like she did with Teide. "So um what are you a senshi of if you don't mind me asking."

Ohhh! It wasn't English. The realization brought a soft widening of the Brazilian's eyes, her glare from before being replaced with a little bit of a grin. Oh how she knew about falling back on her first language, especially when she couldn't find the word she was looking for. "Ahhh, I see!" Settling more comfortably onto the branch she let her sandaled feet swing beneath her.
"I am not best at English myself. So I understand."
"I speak Portuguese and Japanese instead." She shared matter of factly. "You can say any words you want, I will let you know if I do not know them."
French. Juno wasn't sure she'd heard much of that language nor met anyone from France. It was European though.. She wondered how close it was to London, where Puck was from. And when the knight had come to Destiny City.
The other girl's nervous question however drew her from her thoughts and she offered a hand out mildly. "Sailor Juno, senshi of the canopy."

Hyperborea smiled and let out a small sigh of relief, she hadn't offended the other girl. In fact the other girl wasn't a native English speaker, not that Hyperborea spoke either of the languages she listed but still she was happy to meet someone else who was trilingual.
"Merci!" She said in a thankful tone of voice. "Sometimes the English word just sounds wrong to me." It was honestly a subconscious thing, she had to remember to not switch between languages if she was supposed to be only speaking English.
"Canopy huh? Like a forest canopy? That's cool, what kind of magic do you use?" She asked as she reached out to shake Juno's offered hand.
"So you know Verona? Are the two of you friends?" She asked curious about what the older cosmos page had been up since they'd spoken.

"Yes exactly." She agreed to the sentiment about english not sounding right or as good at points. Head nodding vigorously.
Hand shaken, Juno withdrew her gloved hand before settling it on the branch beside her, fingers feeling the soft texture of bark through the thin cloth. "Yes, like forest tree tops. All of Amazon Quartet have powers that had something to do with rainforests and forests. Maybe because we are all from Brazil, I do not know."
But that hadn't been the whole question and after a moment she shrugged. "My power is just shield of vines and branches for teammates, but I can not use unless with other senshi. So I have no used in long time."
Giving a particularly hard kick/swing of her leg at the air she grinned. "I just fight with hands and feet really. Do not need magic to do it."
"I am very good." She added after a moment. Confidence in herself had never been a problem for Juno.
As Verona's name was mentioned again Juno shrugged again thoughtfully. "I do not know her very well. We meet a little while ago in subway, when Negaverse attacked everyone and made giant monster train. Then she let me come to her house and take shower with her." To much information was also not something the Brazilian girl considered a problem. "So I guess we are friends maybe? I would not mind seeing her again."

"Amazon Quartet? Are you connected to the Amazon trio then? I meet one of their members a few months ago, Quail's Eye." Though the older girl seemed to have a normal super senshi aura not the weird cosmic power aura that Quail's Eye had. But then again maybe she just didn't know what to look for in cosmic auras after all she had only met one phenomenal cosmic power so far.
"That magic sounds pretty cool. I have a bow that fires arrows made of starlight, they explode like a flash bang. They're useful but also really flashy and can hit my allies too, so I try not to use them very often." She said figuring it was only fair to say what her magic was.
"I'm the same! I prefer just to use my fists, well with my aspect as well. So what fighting style do you use? I mainly use judo but I've been branching off with strikes as well."
"There was a giant monster train?!" She said in surprise, how had she missed that. A part of her felt really bad that she had missed a big battle like that. She wanted to help out order but she had somehow completely missed this battle.
"You...shower...her!" She said trying to process what the senshi had said. Her face went scarlet as she imagined the scene. "Um well I'm glad she's made connections with other powered people." She said trying to brush off the inappropriate thoughts she had.

Amazon trio. The playful swinging of Juno's legs halted as the words sounded and her teeth clenching momentarily at the familiar term from her other life. Their relationship was precarious - not nearly as clear cut as Juno's hatred and hard feelings for Nehelena and Zirconia. For all she knew the Amazon trio could have been just as she was... corrupted and unable to fight against the bad things they'd done in the Dead Moon Circus. And yet.. the knowledge that they'd been here first.. that they'd gotten more time to spend with Chibimoon before she left... and that s**t-show in Elysion. It was hard for Juno not to have hard feelings.
"We are two seperate things." She replied finally, a little bit gruffly. "The Amazon quartet are the sworn protectors of the future Princess Chibimoon. We were all sleeping in Brazil until we were called for."
"Amazon trio is..." A hand motioned in the air, clearly annoyed. "Just stupid animals who pretend to be people."
Obviously not super thrilled to talk about it she was happy to try and change the subject, especially when that subject was fighting. Her tense jaw loosened, along with her shoulders as she tried to imagine the magic the knight described. It sounded pretty cool.
She did not know exactly what judo was, other then presumably something like karate, but she nodded vigoriously nonetheless, seeming to think a moment for the best way to answer Hyperborea's question.
"In style I use... gymnastics?" She offered finally, with no other clue what to call it. "Hand springs to kick people, hand stands to grab and toss. I am just fast and use what is around me." The branch wiggled a little as Juno threw a few playful punches into the air, her legs swinging in a few pretend kicks.
"I could show you!" She piped up excitedly before a sly smile crept across her lips. "Sparring is very very fun I think." Fun for her at least. So far Puck was the only other person that seemed to truly enjoy sparring with Juno. She was simply far too rough and callous for playful 'friendly' fights.
Luckily her attention was stolen once more by other conversation, perhaps saving the knight from being gouded into an over enthusiastic play fight. "Yeah, first I think Negaverse must have been taking starseeds because there was a big fuss at the station, but then all the sudden HUGE train monster. With people inside side. I threw some things at it and it made people parts rain down on us." There was a lot of hand motioning as she relayed bits and pieces of the story.
But the scarlet of the girl's face was enough to settle Juno back down, an amused grin stretching across her face. And as if to tease poor Hyperborea more, she mused. "She is even prettier underneath uniform."Aurelius Ambrosius Poor Hyperborea sure knows how to accidentally/innocently hit all the wrong buttons. XD *snugs her*

Iris_virus LOL yes she does xd also she is always up for a good sparring match
"So you served Chibimoon, I've heard her name mentioned before. Who is she, what's she like? " she asked. Princes and Princesses interested her and given how few people mentioned this Chibimoon she figured it was best to get information when she could.
Using gymnastics as a fighting style sounded amazing to Hyperborea, she made a mental note to look into it later though she would first have to actually learn gymnastics.
Hyperborea nodded her head as Juno explained the train monster. She wished she could be surprised by something like this but at this point nothing really surprised her especially when it came to the negaverse doing horrible things.
When Juno began teasing her Hyperborea could swear she had steam coming off of her face it felt so hot and flustered.
"Um so you wanted to spar. I'm totally up for that." She said hoping to detract from the current conversation. She hopped down from the tree branch and landed gracefully on her feet. She took up a defensive stance.

"Idiota little bird. As if tiny bird could be useful anyway. Seal either. Leopard is only one that could really be useful for war." Juno muttered to herself with a shake of her head even as the conversation had passed, seemingly unable to shake the thought of a tiny little quail being anything worthwhile.
The question about Chibimoon drew her eyes back up, an uncertain look settling on her face. She had been mad at Chibimoon for so long now.. almost 2 years. And she wanted nothing more than to be mad at her and blame her. But it was easier to think such things in her head them speak them aloud, especially when explaining what Coralie had ever done to deserve Juno's anger was... well full of emotions that the Amazonian didn't want to deal with.
In the end her words were kind enough, matter of fact even, but not full of reverenace in which she used to speak of her Princess with.
"Chibimoon or Small Lady is a princess that is not from now. She is supposed to be from a future time. Her grandmother is the ghost on the moon - from years and years ago that led Silver Millenium. And her mother... I guess her mother was supposed to be now? And Small Lady later?" Juno's nose scrunched, seemingly uncertain if she was explaining it correctly. She had never been the brains of the bunch and keeping it all right in her head was difficult, especially considering the strange jumbled memories of the past.
"Anyway, when things went wrong she was sent to help here now. And we, Amazon Quartet, were woken to come help. Small Lady is..." Pausing she sighed a little, her eyes diverting to her hands. "Beautiful and funny and kind. But she never believed in self enough and would not stand and take her place above other senshi. Now she is gone though. She left saying she was called someplace. I do not know where."
Thinking of Small Lady made her miserable. Juno had loved her so strongly that when Chibimoon left her heart had been absolutely broken. Her world crashed to pieces. Hating her had been a defense mechanism, and it was so much better then the strangeness that had been creeping up on her lately. She couldn't explain how speaking of her could bring such feelings of longing and loss when she was trying so hard to feel nothing by anger and rage. It felt like her emotions were betraying her.
Juno was surprised when Hyperborea dropped to the ground, but she didn't make her wait. With a quick push the senshi descended as well before landing with a mild hop. Her arms stretched above her head mildly as she seemed to observe the other girl. With them both standing on the ground it became very clear how... monsterous Juno was in comparision to Hyperborea. At 6 foot tall she towered over the other girl by over a foot - and it was 6 feet of muscle built by a lifetime of constant athleticism. Amazon was not an inappropriate way to describe her.
It did not, however, mean she planned to go easy on the other girl if she was really intent on sparring. Ask the poor Chibi she got paired up with in a training session once. And after all, good things could come in tiny packages. Perhaps Hyperborea would be like Puck, compact and strong as hell. But if Juno had to wager a guess she was going to go for small and quick. Luckily the senshi was pretty quick too.
"My general rule is if other person passes out we must stop, is okay?" There was a little bit of a smirk, as if waiting to see if that admission would get the other girl to retract her offer.
She supposed she'd get to find out exactly what Judo was now. It was always fun to learn new things.Aurelius Ambrosius I went with what was in her journal, if it's changed let me know and I'll edit!

Iris_virus Lol didn't realize Juno was so tall, yeah she towers over tiny Hype
When Juno jumped down to meet her on level ground Hyperborea had to marvel at just how tall she was. Especially compared to Hyperborea's petite 4'9'' frame. She was definitely an Amazon in the physical sense, but Hyperborea wasn't worried, this wasn't the first time she had sparred with someone significantly taller than her. Her body was also well built from constant training and years of athletic activities.
"A little rougher than I normally play but I'm fine with that, just try not to get hurt." She said with a cheeky grin to match the other girl's ."Ready? lets begin!" She was curious to see this gymnastics style of fighting, but at the same time she wanted to win this match.
She quickly closed the distance between the two grabbing the girl by her lapels, could those be called lapels Hyperborea wasn't sure. She turned her shoulder towards the girl and used her leg to sweep the girl's feet out from under her. She threw the girl over her hip on to the ground with a thud.

There was another soft quirk in Juno's brows as the french sounded, but she didn't bother asking for clarification. Instead she simply shrugged as the other girl mentioned sad memories. It was true they were.. but Aitana was not the kind of girl that enjoyed thinking about emotions and feelings nor dwelled on them when she could.
The Amazon seemed pleased when her intimidation didn't work and the other girl didn't back down, nodding in soft approval. The tease not to get hurt herself received an amused little chuckle. A hand slapped lightly against her lower abdomen, and a couple of scars that resided there, before offering a wink. "I have taken arrows for my princess. I am not afraid of little pain."
The senshi fell into a loose stance as the other girl signaled the beginning of the match, her fists held up lightly in front of her. She had not expected how quickly the other girl would make a move however.
The quickness and deftness in which the little lady was able to haul her off her feet and knock her to the ground was extremely impressive, her respect for the other girl flaring along with the mild pain of her side and elbow coming in contact with the dirt. However she didn't have much time to be impressed, if Hyperborea was that quick then she needed to move fast.
Juno didn't bother trying to recover or lift herself from the ground. Instead of her legs snapped and wrapped around the other girl's legs, locking her in place for a moment before she pushed her own legs and hips upwards with all her might, arms braced against the ground to help push. If Hyperborea weren't locked between her legs it would have looked simply like she was trying to do a backwards somersault. But clearly that wasn't the case - she was attempting instead to toss the knight over her and onto the ground head first while as the same time propelling herself up to her knees so she'd have the upperhand.

Hyperborea wondered how literal Juno's statement was. In this war it was certainly possible to take real arrows for someone.
Hyperborea was honestly expecting Juno to try to get back on her feet to continue the fight as most people would. She was pleasantly, well sort of pleasantly, surprised to see that the older girl was smart enough to know that she'd just be giving Hyperborea an opening if she tried to just stand up.
Hyperborea wobbled as her legs were locked by powerful Amazonian legs. As the girl did some sort of back wards somersault sending Hyperborea tumbling head first over her.
Lucky for Hypeborea she knew how to take a fall and managed to not land on her head or have the breath knocked out of her, but man did that hurt. Hyperborea's back was gonna be sore for a couple days. As she looked up to see the senshi up on her knees she had to feel respect. The girl clearly wasn't lying about having combat experience, she moved fluidly and had a good sense for how to gain the advantage.
However she wasn't the only one who could fight from the ground. Hyperborea, without trying to stand up, rocked forward and grabbed onto both of Juno's wrists. She next planted a foot on the girl's exposed abdomen. Then she rocked back throwing the girl over her as she did.
Hyperborea took the time to get to her feet and put some distance between the two of them. She didn't want this to turn into a contest of who can take the most throws before being knocked out.
