Where: Academy Gates | Feeling: Content Though he had passed through the main gates of the academy before, Rin had returned almost immediately once he had his enrolment and schedule sorted. The reason? The brown-haired Elf had spotted a particularly large tree just inside the academy walls. It wasn't like he hadn't seen a tree before, Rin had practically lived amongst them for most of his life...but this one...just one look and it just seemed to scream 'climb me'. He hadn't climbed one in so long, primarily because none of the ones he had come across recently were as big without being too troublesome to scale. Sure, he still tried climbing the troublesome, but getting to the top was just...well, troublesome. Stepping up to the trunk of it, the male looked it up and down before placing a hand on it, gently letting his fingers slide down the slightly coarse bark. "Now what's a beauty like you doing here?" He murmured, a nearly excited smile crossing his lips as his gaze shifted up to the top. Without another moments hesitation, he jumped, reacing out to the closest branch and hoisting himself up. The moment he was standing, Rin was already looking for the next best branch, yellow eyes gleaming enthusiastically. One by one, the Elf made his way up, moving with a fluidity that only came with experience. In minutes, Rin reached his destination, upper body leaning out of the top of the tree, one hand holding on for balance, as his gaze swept across the academy grounds. "I could get used to this..." He said to himself, flicking his attention upwards. It was a mostly clear day, which was fine he supposed, though a little cloud would've been nice...Rin always had a liking towards cloud-watching, no matter where he went he would always find time to stare up at the sky and let his imagination run rampant. Letting out a small breath, the Elf allowed his mind to wander, figuring a few minutes here wouldn't make him late for anything important."Don't be afraid to jump into the unknown"

Chance walked up to the school already dressed in something she considered school appropriate. She had a black tank top that barely showed off her small A cup boobs and brown denim jeans fixed with custom-made black converse that had the outer space painted on. Her outfit completed with three rubber bracelets saying "rawr," "free hugs," and a batman one, two on her left and one on her right; and a fluffy hat that stringed down furry balls to either side of her neck right next to a crystal necklace along with her green glasses. This was something different than her normal attire but she liked this type of outfits as well she just hoped the headmaster didn't disapprove. She had no idea what the code of conduct was for here and hoped she wasn't going against the rules on the first day of school.
As the hare made his way toward the gates, he looked up toward the academy and gasped, his jaw dropping. This place was huge and gorgeous and... he couldn't believe his eyes. Was he sure he was at the right place? 'I mean, this place is gorgeous and wonderful and... this is unbelievable!' he thought excitedly to himself, allowing a wide smile take over his face. He had to have someone else double check this for him though. He wanted to make sure that he was definitely supposed to be here... but how? Headmaster, right... he cleared the thought, looking down to the paper in his hand with a slight frown. The paper mentioned the academy he's supposed to be and how to get there. Looking around for a second, he realized he listened to directions correctly because there was a sign, welcoming everyone to the academy.
She looked around once more before seeing a strange man climbing a tree. Her eyes widen with sudden excitement. The headmaster can wait, right? She wanted to go join the man in the tree! And without second thought she ran over to the tree, dropped her bag and began jumping onto the branches, one after the other until she was eventually close enough to him and to the top, "Hey, is there a reason why you're climbing trees by yourself?" she teased. "I would think it'd be more fun with other people, don't you?" She concluded, giving him a big toothy grin.

Amber stood in the shadow of the front gate.One of her enchanted dolls climb from her bag to her shoulder. "Congratulations, Amber. your mother's so proud." It said as it sat down. She knew what it meant, it was a rare gift. her mother's book told her the recipe for the ability to gee ghost, disappearing after it was complete. she looked forwards, not listening to the doll and went through the gates, into her new world.

Where: Academy Gates {Tree} | Feeling: Cheerful Rin, eyes still up at the few clouds above and head still in them, had little to no awareness of the ground below him. That may have been odd for someone growing up the way he did, but letting his thoughts wander upwards was too enjoyable to allow any portion of his concentration to deviate. As such, he had barely heard someone approaching the tree he was currently anchored to until the branches shook slightly from their movement. Glancing downwards, he saw a figure with short brown hair, much like his own he absent-mindedly noted, scaling the tree just like he had done a little while before. He only saw glimpses of their face, but from what he saw along with their attire, he could at least gather that they were likely female and probably around the same age as he was. He had a good eye for that sort of thing, picking up details in short timespans...sometimes they'd be pointless bits and pieces, but other occaisions have proved they can help. Before Rin could even open his mouth to speak, the girl beat him to it. At the mention of climbing trees with others, the Elf couldn't help but grin back. "Haven't met enough people here to invite yet." He replied, shifting in order to properly face the other tree-climber. "Besides, I--woah!" Rin's next statement was cut off by a slight loosage in footing, the branch under his foot bending just a fraction more than what he was expecting. Rin fell backwards, upper torso disappearing in a mass of leaves. The direction of his fall, however, seemed to change as his body passed the branch he was standing on, more rotating than falling really. The next second, he had stopped descending altogether, apparently reacting just quick enough to hang from the branch by the top of his feet. Now upside-down, the male had his arms folded over his chest, his grin returning to his face. "The name's Rin, by the way. Yourself?" He asked, either ignoring or oblivious to the small collection of leaves now lodged in his hair...that and one very panicked little beetle.
{So, the good news is that I'm not dead. The bad news, as I expected, was that Monday was basically a day-long hangover without the upside of having been drunk the night before x.x}"Don't be afraid to jump into the unknown"

She watched the male carefully above her as he replied back about not meeting enough people to have invited them. Was he new here also? Chance needed to know, but before she could get a word out he had began another sentence before that sentence was interrupted by an apparent misstep on a branch. She didn't even know how to react to the falling man who barely managed to catch himself by his legs on another branch. Now he was closer to her and upside down. Her shocked expression turned back into one of glee and she let out a small giggle, now looking at him upside down. This was more amusing then she had even expected. "Are you okay?"
The male finally introduced himself to the freshman as Rin before asking for hers. She looked at him for a second speechless. Is she supposed to answer with her real name or the name she chooses to go by? In the next second she opened her mouth and decided her answer, "Ashton Chandler. I go by Chance... you can call me whatever." She said, looking away with closed eyes and a nervous smile, rubbing the back of her neck with her free hand while the other kept her stable from falling off the current branch. She looked back up at him after another second putting her arm down, "It's nice to meet you, Rin. I'm new here. I just arrived today," she openly admitted.
Suddenly she remembered him talking about something earlier before he fell, "Oh, what was you going to say earlier... y'know, before you fell?" She asked, examining his face and hair in this angle and how messy it was, assuming from the previous fall. She couldn't help but smile at it. His ears though, that was something else. She never met anyone with such pointy ears.
((OOC: Good! I'm glad your not dead. Lol. Why the massive hangover headache for? Oh, also tomorrow is supposedly lunch so, wanna have our characters going to the cafeteria before long?))

Where: Academy Gates {Tree} | Feeling: Cheerful When the girl asked if he was okay, Rin simply coughed a short laugh and shrugged. "Not the first time I've slipped." He said, pausing momentarily to look down...or up from his perspective...at the ground some distance away. "wouldn't have been the first time falling out of one either." He added, turning his gaze back to her with a light smile. After his introduction, the Elf noticed the hesitation once the question of who she was arrived, he titled his head just a little in curiosity. Was she nervous about giving her name to people she just met? Before he could contemplate any other reason, she finally answered. Ashton...not a name he'd admit to expecting, but it didn't really matter, it wasn't like she chose the name herself, right? "Chance, nice to meet you. I'm new as well." He said. As he reached to the branch he was hanging from and righted himself onto the branch just below, Chance's question made him blink, he had nearly forgotten about what he was saying. "Oh, nothing important, just that I tend to space out a little once I'm at the top whether I like it or not." He replied, rubbing the back of his head sheepishly. As he lowered his arm, a sound made him blink this time: a bell calling out from the Academy. "That time already?" He said under his breath before turning to Chance, smile shifting to his face once more. "We'd better get going, lunch won't wait around for us." He said, starting to make his way down the tree. "I did a quick look-around of the school earlier, we can head to the cafeteria together if you want." He offered, figuring that if Chance didnt know where to go, it seem pretty rude not to show her the way.
{Ehh, that's just how my colds seem to go: headache, grogginess, the need to murder anything that makes too much noise xP Anyway, sorry if I take a while between posts, even with just recovering from being sick it seems I can't relax too much this week >.< Yeah, might be best to send them off now before we're too far behind the guild time}"Don't be afraid to jump into the unknown"

She couldn't help but let out a small giggle at him when he did the whole rubbing neck thing too when he went to answer the question about what he might have been saying. She found her new friend adorable, in a way before getting distracted by the sound of a bell and she looked into the general area of the sound. Her brows furrowed in confusion. Was they late for something? She thought as she looked back up to Rin who was mentioning the bell also, followed by the fact that he'd looked around the school earlier so he'd know where to go if they wanted to go together.
She blushed slightly before nodding, "Yes, I'd love to!" she answered excitedly, using physical effort not to jump up and down on the tree branch. She was a bunny, not a monkey and bunnies weren't exactly the tree climber type. She giggled as she started to make her way back down the tree before feeling her stomach growled. She didn't even realize how hungry she was until now that it was mentioned. She couldn't wait to get to the cafeteria now and she hoped it wasn't too far away.
After picking up her bag and throwing it on her shoulder, she looked back up to see Rin jump down from the tree and she followed him as he lead the way toward the dinning room.

This is where she met her friend and this is where she’ll leave him too. She looked back to the school, with her bag slumped on her shoulder as she thought. She loved this place; it’s people, her friends, and the teachers. They were all so lovely. It was a place that outside of where her mother, father, and siblings lived, she could call home. Sure, she’d only been here for a day and a half but… she’d grown so connected to Rin and the others within such a short time. She didn’t want to leave but her mother wanted her back for whatever the reason. She was called and told to come back.
Chance had no idea why she was going back or exactly for how long. She didn’t know if she should tell her friends bye or if she should just leave. What if she was gone forever? What if it was only a few hours? She had so many questions and very few answers. She sighed as she looked away from the academy. After adjusting the strap on her shoulder she began walking once more… back home.
She’d miss Rin the most when she got back home. She’d tell her family about him and about the supernatural creatures here. She would tell them about all the beautiful sights and how teachers wouldn’t show up for their classes. She’d be happy with this talk but she’d still undoubtedly miss them, miss here.
“Mister, can you give me a ride to the nearest airport?” She asked a dark haired male who was going the same way she was going and after he accepted, they drove off in his car.

I mean...really really have too?" --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Man..Lulu really did a number on this place"A very large man said with his hands in his pockets. The front gates were slightly bent but the stone walls around it were practically rubble now. The large man could practically still see Lucian's magic energy still leaking off of the school. "Hey! Bull! hurry up!" The man yelled. The man was a massive 7'2. Muscular and devilishly handsome. A very small boy, no more than 12 years old the most came running up out of breath. Sir Mahanon..I can't...ahhh! The small boy whined out of breath as he fell over resting.   Position:Potions Teacher Age:21 Mood:Confused Happy o' Meter:5Walking up to the school gates Suzume was surprised to see that it was damaged. 'What happened when I was sick?' She thought. She'd been away for quite some time. She was even more confused when a strange man yelled for a bull to hurry up. Glancing over she saw a very tall man standing next to a child on the ground. Did he have a pet bull? Making a fist and tapping it together with her open palm, she giggled as she realized that it must have been a joke. Giggling she walked up to the two and bent down, picking up the small child and holding him to her chest like a teddy bear from behind. Children probably shouldn't lay on the ground. "Uppy up! Where's the Bull?" She asked merrily while looking around, momentarily forgetting her confusion and worry over the schools damage in favor for a nice joke to lighten her mood. 'He's like...moose height.' She thought to herself.

I mean...really really have too?" ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Mahanon was just about to start teasing Bull. That is until Suzume appeared and picked the tiny boy up. Bull's face was beat red. The boy was shy but felt comforted. Mahanon's heavy voice filled the area with laughter. "The bull? Well..you're holding him" The hybrid man chuckled to Suzume. Bull was shy and stumbling over his words. I...well...I...Bull Bull stumbled as the beautiful woman was holding him like a baby. Now turning fully around, Mahanon studied the much smaller woman smiling. "Hello,M'lady. I'm Mahanon Pavus of House Pavus...and you might be?" The massive man said lifting her hand and kissing the back of it. Bull glared at his mentor, leaping out of Suzume's arms and performed a flying kick to Mahanons forehead. Only to scurry back into Suzume's arms. "Agghhh! Damnit Bull! What was that for?!" Mahanon said crouching down holding his forehead that bore the small boot print from Bull. Even as he was crouching down, Mahanon was still pretty tall. Position:Potions Teacher Age:21 Mood:Happy Happy o' Meter:7Looking down at the child in her arms named Bull she laughed and rubbed the top of his head with her cheek. "You have a silly name, but you're a cutie." Looking at the man in surprise as he called her M'lady and kissed her hand, she was reminded of her servant days when the masters would pamper the mistresses by calling them such things. She laughed again when the little boy squirmed out of her arms and was able to actually reach the mans height to perform a kick to his temple. "Waa, you're like a little rabbit. You jump so high!" Suzume said squishing the boy to her. "You guys are silly." Still holding on to Bull she gestured to the school with her head. "Do you know what happened to the school? I don't remember it being this way. Oh, and my name is Suzume Tsugumi, you can call me Suzume by the way, I'm the potions teacher."
'This little boy is soft like marshmallows~~.' She thought

You're so sweet and nice! Unlike Mahanon! Bull giggled nuzzled the girl back. Bull was in utter and complete happiness and bliss. This was the life. If becoming a Knight-Enchanter meant being surrounded by pretty woman he was ready. The small boy's happiness came to an end when Mahanon crashed in heavy fist on top of the small boys head. Gggahhh.... Bull blurted out as he layed limp in Suzume's arms. Spirals in his eyes as he played faint. "You're not unconscious..yet..you little brat" Mahanon said chuckling to his squire. Mahanon then straightened up as he heard, the potion teachers question. Placing his hands back in his pockets, the hybrid man sighed deeply. "One of the greatest teachers ever in this school's history...tried to take over" Mahanon said looking to the destroyed front gates . "He was my black magic teacher years ago. I'm taking his place...." Mahanon said a bit sadly and relieved. As much as Mahanon hated Lucian the Djinn, He would gladly admitt he was the best teacher this school has ever seen. Mahanon has no problem giving credit where its due. Even if it's due to a maniac. Slightly turning back, Mahanon smiled towards Suzume.
