Soren finally arrived at the top of the long, tedious flight of stairs. "What a pain...' He said, looking back down the stairs. He look ahead, seeing a ledge just large enough to sit on. He walked over lazily, climbing up on the ledge. As he sat down, he looked over at the school grounds, which were much larger than they seemed. "Huh...this place is pretty huge isn't it..." Soren sighed, as he was already bored. He didn't like just doing nothing and at the moment, there was nothing on his mind. He climbed off the ledge, placing his feet on the ground.

Soren then gripped his katana, unsheathing it quickly. He placed both hands upon its handle as he held it steadily in front of him. He raised it above his head slowly, inhaling. He then brought the blade down swiftly, causing the wind to whip rapidly. "One..." Soren said, as he began to repeat the process. This was one of the few training methods Soren used, which was typical of an Iaido practitioner such as himself.

Liz played with the handle of her whip, which was still attached to her belt, "You like fighting?" she asked, being a great fan of fighting herself. She jumped, pulling herself to sit on the top pole of the safety fence. "I mean, you know, since you're practicing and all..." she trailed, dangling her legs lazily. Liz was the kind of person who didn't take safety precautions at all.

Soren's blade was held high above his head as he brought it down rapidly, causing the wind to push up dust from the floor. "Ninety-nine..." He looked at Liz, bring his sword above his head with his right hand. He twirled the blade with excellent skill within his grasp, then gently, yet swiftly slid it back into it's sheathe. "Now why would I do that?" He asked calmly. He raised his sheathed blade in front of him with his left hand and slid his right hand into his pocket. "Liz, right?" He spoke, eying his blade intently.

Liz shrugged, "I dunno, its stress releasing, fun and helps you gain experience." she said with an easy shrug. "I enjoy it, I mean, its what makes us special isn't it? the ability to fight. Of course, assassins can fight but...not like us, we're built for it." she explained, switching to stand up on the pole. "So why not enjoy it?" she asked, hopping off it easily, not aware that if she had stumbled, she would have fallen off the roof and to her death.

Soren sighed at her response. "I suppose you're right..." Soren generally didn't like fighting for no reason, sparring or otherwise but at this point he had nothing better to do. "Why me..." He thought. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. "Well, ladies first." He said smirking. He unsheathed his katana and stabbed it deeply into the ground. He held his sheathe in front of him. He slid his right foot back and bent his left knee. He inhaled once more and narrow his gaze on her.

Atreus somehow found him climbing up to the rooftop of the school, a place he often visited when he wanted to be alone and think. However, this...was not one of those occasions. This time, he was there for his very distracted guard. Atreus was never one afraid of fist fights, but when he wanted to head into town, you couldn't be too careful. He woke up from his nap earlier that day to find his guard missing...yet again. It seemed to him as if she was always finding some man to drool over.

When he came up to the roof, he stared out at the beautiful view of the stretch of the sky he enjoyed so much. Too bad he didn't have wings like his father to fly out into the horizon. If he did, there was no way in hell he'd come back. As he came up, Atreus caught bits of the conversation Elizabeth was having. "You know what I would enjoy?" He asked in a crude tone and crossed his arms as he leaned against the door that had led him up.

Alice lazily walked onto the RoofTops expecting it to be quiet and peaceful but when she got up there she saw there were people. As soon as she saw them she was interested right away, and leaned against the wall as she watched the two people begin to fight. "Interesting... I wonder who'll win..." She looked over at the girl and then a the boy. Personally I hope the girl wins... As she stood there a small smile crept onto her face...

Liz smiled, "Aww! you called me a lady!" she fake gushed, pulling out a hand gun from her boot and tossing it aside, "Wouldn't want that baby misfiring..." she joked, on-attaching the whip from her belt and throwing it beside the gun. "What combat style do you use?" she asked, wanting to be prepared for what he would try.

Soren sighed as he closed his eyes. "You sure do talk a lot..." He spoke. "It would put me at a disadvantage if I were to tell you that." He looked towards the two newcomers. He looked both of them up and down before shifting his gaze back towards Liz. He now had possible distractions but he wouldn't let them bother him. She challenged him and she would receive her challenge.

Liz flashed a smile, "Didn't hurt to try." she explained.Elizabeth turned to Atreus, raising an eyebrow, "What would you enjoy?" she asked, her attention focusing on him, as was her job. Because of the stupid Royal imprint, she wasn't able to hate him, though her distaste for royals seemed the same. She had to focus though, she was suppose to fight and she tool fighting very seriously.

Atreus hated how impertinent Liz was at times and he rashfully marched over to where his knight stood and grabbed her wrist with an iron grip. His gray eyes shone with anger as he tightened his grip. "We're leaving Elizabeth. I would have enjoyed to take a stroll around town, but seeing as you were clearly busy with something that wasn't your job, I guess I'll have to intervene and remind you of your place." Atreus commanded with a steely voice. The only times the boy even used his knights full name was when he was angry with her, such as now. He glanced at her armory strewn out on the ground and reversed the time taking place there. The whip flew up seconds before the gun did. Atreus grabbed them both with one hand and shoved them roughly back at Liz.

Atreus then glared at the other knight. "And you, just because you're not claimed doesn't mean you can go around distracting other knights. I feel bad for whoever your royal is going to be." Atreus said with a voice that sounded like a double-edged blade. Atreus then turned back to his knight, still gripping her wrist tightly. His eyes and grip tightened a bit, but not by much. He had trusted Liz when he had first came across her, which was why he had chosen her. But, the girl was just so damn erratic.

Elizabeth glared at his hand around her wrist and then at him, staring straight into his eyes. She knew a Knight couldn't disobey a Royals order, no matter how rebellious she was. She grabbed her weapons, almost dropping the gun but catching it at the last second with her pinkie. She turned back to Atreus, "Is that an order?" she asked, trying to keep herself from yelling at him and bringing out words that would make her mother faint.

It wasn't fair, wasn't she suppose to be the strong one between them? her job was to protect him and be the dominant. Right now, she felt like the submissive one and didn't like it one bit. Especial as he turned to scold Soren, couldn't she ever have fun?

Soren laughed at the man's comment, "Is that right m'lord?" He said in a mocking tone. He gripped the handle of his katana and pulled it from the earth with ease. He slowly raised it, pointing it towards the man. "You aren't my Royal...so don't think I won't end your life. You treat us as if we are your property and it makes me sick." He eyed his grip on Liz's wrist. He took a deep breath as he sheathed his blade. "What's the use..." Soren shook his head as he placed his blade tightly within his belt and shoved his hands back in his pockets. "You wouldn't be worth it anyway..." He shot a smile towards the man, his gray eyes flickering with interest. "But...next time if we meet, I'll be sure to introduce myself properly." Soren cared not about Liz being there and he wanted her to hear him.

"Oh poo don't ruin the fun now Atreus it was just about to start" Alice ran up beside Atreus and wrapped both her hands around his one that held Liz's Wrist. Putting her body between the three so they didn't tear each other apart "Please Atreus one little fight, how else is your knight going to improve if she doesnt practice?" Alice glanced up at Atreus, and gave him her best puppy dog eyes...
