I AM TRYING FOR THE MIRROR SPIRIT GIRL!If you need help filling out this form, or if some things listed here don't make sense to you, go here for help! I AM TRYING FOR THE MIRROR SPIRIT
Name: Nicknames: (if any)
Natural Ability: (A natural ability is something that all members of your character's race can do! For example, all werewolves can shapeshift to wolf form. These ablities are used in roleplay for fun, and are not important for battle. Shapeshifting, being able to phase through walls, and having the ability to talk to animals are good examples of natural abilities!)
Personality: (Tell us about your character's personality! Don't write a novel, but let us know a little about them - their traits, character quirks, and so on!)
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy?
FEAR Ability: (A character's FEAR ability is a special attack they can use in battle, similar to a limit break or other powerful and unique attack! Their power should be related to the character's species or personality somewhat.)
Don't forget to include what TYPE of Fear it is! For more information please see the FEAR guide: http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=22177831
I am trying for the MOON HUNTERIf you need help filling out this form, or if some things listed here don't make sense to you, go here for help! I AM TRYING FOR THE MOON HUNTER
The Hunter Name: Nicknames:
Category: The categories of Hunter are: Moon & Sun - Does the 'hands on' operations, more tied to execution of missions, attacking, assaulting, defense, repair, and guarding work. Moon is related more to repair/rescue and defense while sun is related more to offense.
The Weapon Name: (This cannot be the name of a famous weapon - i.e. no naming your sword Excalibur! Also, no two Hunter weapons have the same name, so look over the Hunters currently in play to make sure you're not repeating a name.) Nicknames: Type of Weapon: (Can be pretty much any weapon as long as your Hunter can carry it.) Former species of weapon: (All Hunter weapons were originally Halloween creatures! Pick a species! Just list a species name here, please - no further description is needed.) Gender: .
Personalities: Let us know a little about both Hunter and weapon -remember, the weapon is sentient and can talk telepathically to their Hunter.)
Why did your human character choose to become a Hunter? (If your character participated in the original Hunter metaplot, then you've already written a solo that explains their reasons! Just link to that with a brief (2-3 lines, max) summary.
If not: all Hunters are human, chosen from among ordinary humans for their extraordinary ability to detect "evil beings". This abilty has affected them their entire life. The original solo guidelines are here: while, as a quest character, you do not have to write a solo yet, you should keep those guidelines in mind! Use them to develop your character's past, and their reasons for signing their life away to become a Hunter.)
Weapon Ability (A charged weapon can deliver a powerful attack in battle! This charged attack is like a limit break or other unique power, and is the Hunter equivalent of a student's FEAR ability.
The nature of a Hunter's charged attack is related to the weapon's original species. If your weapon was a mermaid, you can't have a charged attack that inflicts a stone-like temporary paralysis on your enemy - but you could do that with a weapon that was a gorgon.)
Don't forget to include what TYPE of Fear it is! For more information please see the FEAR guide: http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=22177831

I AM TRYING FOR THE MIRROR SPIRIT
Name: Alice Lidia Carroll Nicknames: Ali, Liddy, Carrie
Natural Ability: Mirror Walk - She is able to enter any mirror and exit through any other mirror, but it must be a mirror and not a mirror-like surface. Shattered mirrors also do not work.
Personality: Extreme shyness- Alice has been extremely shy for years, to the point where she's become almost a total recluse inside her mirror. When she does manage to pull her courage together enough to leave her mirror, she always carries around a small hand mirror (for quick escapes) and startles easily, to the point where if someone yells at her or attacks her she'll usually go hide in her mirror, unless someone intervenes.
Curious lurker- Despite her shyness, Alice hates to be alone and feels the need to have someone close by, if you add in how curious she is, it makes sense that she often wanders mirrors looking in on people until she finds someone she knows, until she is no longer curious, or until she grows tired. In this manner, she often finds out things she should not and/or would not like to know.
Courage in the right circumstances- Alice has never really had friends, due to being a recluse, and because of this, when she does make friends she trusts them completely and follows them around like a delighted puppy. At the same time, if her friends are under physical or verbal assault, her love of her friends will overcome her shyness and she will stand up for them.
Soft spoken- Alice rarely speaks and when she does it is extremely quiet, so most people have to have a good ear or be quiet to hear her.
Encyclopedia- While Alice usually uses her mirror to look for other people, she also uses it to find new books she has not read or other such things she does not know. Due to this, she is fairly knowledgeable on several subjects, including languages.
Quite the imagination- Due to having seen and read many things, Alice has quite the imagination, which is a good thing, because it helps her fear create more and more fantastical things.
Never nonplussed- Because of the many things she has seen, it is hard to nonpluss Alice, rather she looks at even the most ludicrous things with out becoming startled.
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? Alice spent years watching people go by her mirror with people seeing the mirror, but never noticing her. Because of her shyness, she never reached out to them either. Little by little, the people stopped passing by her mirror and she became completely alone. After a few years of this, her loneliness grew stronger than her shyness and she left, taking her mirror with her of course. Upon leaving, she somehow made it to Amityville, where she's decided it would be a good place for her to try to lose most of her shyness and make some friends, so that she won't suffer from her shyness again.
FEAR Ability: Wonderland (The Mind type fear) - Alice refracts the light within her own mirror causing an illusion that makes the affected target see things that one would normally never see, things that are too fantastic to be real, as if they came from the other side of the looking glass. The unfortunate thing is, she often gets caught up in her own illusion.

I AM TRYING FOR THE MIRROR SPIRIT
Name: Amaranta Florina Marino. Nicknames: Amy, Mara.
Natural Ability: Mirror Walk -|- Amaranta possesses the ability to enter any intact mirror and use other mirrors within a limited range as sort of pathways. She can only enter and exit through glass mirrors, and she can't do anything with a shattered mirror except look out from it. Her perception when visiting a shattered mirror is stilted and confusing, and tends to give her migraines rather quickly. She has to have seen a particular mirror before in order to exit from it later, though this is partially due to personal preference, and she can only travel through mirrors in about a sixty-foot range for now. As mirror travel is not particularly linear, she may occasionally come out upside down or sideways. Do not mention these to her.
Personality: Refined-|-Conniving - Amaranta has more culture than a science lab. She's ladylike, polite, careful--proud, domineering, and controlling. Her outer display of proper charm and class aren't false, but a good eighth percent of her outward opinions and comments are. While not necessarily malicious, she's quite judging of others on all number of things--some unfortunate ghoul could earn private scorn over the clothes she's worn on one particular Webday. Amaranta usually keeps all of her snide comments well contained, masking them with sugared words and kind mannerisms that are, as expected, not always genuine. Some may say she's a bit of an ice queen when it comes to showing her true feelings or any at all, but she simply prefers to keep her poise.
Calculated-|-Quick-Tempered - She is constantly working out her options, the chances of each one working, and the potential social backlash from carrying anything out. That isn't all, either--Amaranta is quite smart, and working out problems using the more analytical and less popularity-driven part of her mind is a breeze. The downside here is that once you get her irritated, you've broken her concentration until she manages to calm down--which generally involves a good backhand to the offending party's face once or twice. It's remarkably easy to get her angry, even with all her class and concerns over her reputation, which can be used against her. She has a single-minded rage that doesn't stop immediately when she's harmed her target to satisfaction, and grudges are always going to happen. Always. The conditions of her releasing the grudge or forgiving you entirely vary, but you ca be sure that it's going to hurt. Or humiliate you, really. Whatever she deems amusing at the time.
Social Butterfly-|-Aloof - This ghoul has no problems dealing with people of just about any sort. She can adjust to a social situation with very little effort, though she'll always be prim and proper regardless of what's going on. Amaranta is very fashion-conscious and is big on cleanliness, so anything that involves her wearing something that's either unfashionable or unclean, or even worse, gets her dirty, will be something she will avoid like the plague. While it's easy for her to talk to just about everyone, it's a good deal more difficult for her to actually make emotional connections, and she tends to come off as snooty or egotistical most of the time. That may be true, but she doesn't want you pointing it out.
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? Only the best for our little princess, her parents always said. Amaranta comes from a long line of mirror spirits that claim to hold their origin in a deceased courtesan of Spanish royalty, whom, upon her death, possessed her favorite vanity and proceeded to terrify anyone who drew near. Needless to say, it wasn't very long before the thing was burned due to fear of demons, and the honorable Señora Filippa Marino was out of luck. That entire myth in itself is exactly ninety-nine percent horse s**t, not that it would do you well to say as such. In truth, Señora Marino had such a longstanding fascination with her mirror that when she died, she came back as a mirror spirit, founding Amaranta's ancestral home in Halloweentown. And with that, the House of Marino was born. The ghoul herself wants nothing more than to be a lady of high class and learning like her great-great-great-great-and then some grandmother, being both absolutely terrifying at will and effortlessly elegant. Being the youngest of four, Amaranta also wishes to stand out from the rest of her siblings, wanting to make her mark as a champion scarester. Amityville was the perfect opportunity for her to get a start on that, preferring the opportunity to rub elbows with demons and the chance to make connections to going to some fancy all-ghouls boarding school in the middle of nowhere. She will accept only the best, after all.
FEAR Ability: Reflexíon Mal - Headlights By channeling her FEAR through her hand mirror, Amaranta creates a large projection directed at her target. The projection's appearance varies depending on who's viewing it, but it is almost always involving some dark secret or deep-seated fear. The projection lasts about forty seconds, and if her target is lacking in secrets or fears, will take the form of a malicious spirit instead.

I AM TRYING FOR THE MOON HUNTER
The Hunter Name: Tira Lynn Fletcher Nicknames: Tira Category: Moon
The Weapon Name: Arris Nicknames: Rissy Type of Weapon: Scythe Former species of weapon: Avarice Demon - Sloth branch Gender: Male
Personalities: Hunter;
Easygoing: Tira is a very laid back, soft-spoken person. Which tends to make her easy to approach, though not always considering she would rather smile to someone upon first meeting than to actually initiate conversation. Generally its fairly easy for Tira to become comfortable with others, developing bonds just tends to happen for her. However due to her unhurried nature, and view of rushing is not always best, some might find her a bit ..well lazy. But this isn't the whole truth sure, she will take the occasional 'whats this break', but over all she is just a very low paced person, however the job will get done, maybe seconds before its due but it will get there.
Unforgiving: It takes a good deal to get on easy-going Tira's bad side but once you manage to get there? Good luck trying to get off. The red-head has a bad habit of holding grudges after being wronged. This can create a lot of bad tension between her and people who may have just offended her on accident. Most of her unforgiving nature has to do with her so-called pride, she doesn't like to admit she was wrong in judging someone if they atone for their actions later with apologies or ect. This can give a cold or uncaring impression of her since often times than not she will in fact plainly reject an apology given certain situations.
Helpful: Tira doesn't mind doing favors or helping out, as long as it doesn't interfere with something important she is doing at the time. Tira honestly knows when people are just trying to take advantage of her helpful nature but even still she's a little of a people pleaser, to a point at least, such as she will try as hard as she can to help someone with whatever they need help on but she isn't going to sell her clothes for your bail money. However you can bet that she will never turn her back on someone who needs a helping hand even if its something as little as an attempted cheerful joke to pick them up! If something has gone missing or if you are facing a huge mess that will take hours to finish by yourself, you can bet if she is around and sees you in need she will take it upon herself to volunteer her time and or body for labor.
Inquisitive: A thirst for knowledge of all things in general can have Tira coming off as a rather bookwormish woman; she gets her facts from a number of sources, internet, books and people, if its able to be read or found you can bet she will use it. Tira lives by the saying, 'never stop asking why." She's a woman who feels there is still much that's left unexplored in the world, things she would like to explore little by little to make sure nothings missed.
Like mentioned she has a curiosity for the most part about anything and everything she comes across, which tends to have her dabbling in just about everything one can think of to a certain point, which is a helper in bringing her into being a more social person. However Tira is just a bit restless when it comes to 'studying' however, so she doesn't really stay with one thing for long..in other words, just because she knows one thing about a certain topic, you likely can't expect her to go into much detail about it past the random fact, unless she's genuinely interested.
Weapon; Perverted: Arris is very likely to end up leading his hunter astray morally with this particular trait, but hey most things in life already do that right? He loves to flirt and will not hesitate to pervert someone's statement, only problem is he's constantly verbally harassing people in poor Tira 's mind, and we all know how hard it is to live with a pervert... Arris enjoys getting Tira flustered from the things he says and actually takes a sick satisfaction from it. He will often times stray from his work just to irritate Tira. But for as annoying as he can be, he does offer up the occasional advice to the girl and well gives her lost of interesting comebacks..
Humorous: Arris loves to pretend to be a serious guy, but he is anything but, Tira knowing this all to well. Normally he attempts to defuse any situation with good joke, even if its serious. He tends to typically not take Tira's problems seriously, much less his own, since why worry about things when you can brush them under the rug with a good laugh? Though he is funny to some he is just a pain to others, mostly to his hunter he seems to be a good mix, or so he thinks. His humor can be taken as cruel at times and just outright not funny. Arris never intends to be the bad guy but often makes himself out to be with the things he says, given he rarely thinks before speaking. All in all he believes that embarrassment as a good learning tool, which basically means, Tira is doomed to be the butt of his jokes probably more than others.
Lazy: Arris takes laid back to a whole new meaning and not in a good way. To say that he doesn't like working is an understatement, he will often times try to persuade Tira to take a break and or a pretend sick day, just so he can relax. While generally lazy he can be obviously forced, and manipulated into doing things.
Why did your human character choose to become a Hunter? Tira actually led a happy and blessed life, up until her grandmother passed away that is. Her mother, being a single parent, slowly started to spiral into depression due to mounted hospital and nursing home bills. After awhile the life was sucked from their home and one by one the fantastic adventures, family trips, or general outings they took stopped. Tira watched as her loving mother turned cold and distant, to young to help the woman much emotionally or even by getting a job to ease the pain due to school. Needless to say it was a rough few years, as her mother stopped paying attention to her, they started to.
The nightmares her mother had chased away for years slowly caught back up to her, spooking her day in and out and causing her to spiral as well. Environment deemed unhealthy by a concerned family member, Tira was taken from her mother and placed in the care of an estranged uncle and his wife. Little by little she slowly started to come back out of her shell, that was until her uncle's wife started to snoop through her belongings as a teenager. Confronted with the various sketches of demons, ghost and strange black objects Tira broke and for the first but not last time ran away from her 'family.' They hadn't understood her needless to say didn't believe the claims of her seeing these things, and of what they did they had suggested...therapy.
The cursed word was something so unreasonable to her. Therapy. It hadn't helped her mother...and it wasn't about to help her, she wasn't crazy and she would prove it. Deciding to do this alone she returned to her uncle's home, put on the mask of a happy child and continued to live on like this for a few years. At the age of nineteen she was alone, family on vacation without her due to up coming college semester. It was then that it happened, whispers, shadows and the call of abandonment. They were back and they were playing with her, feeding it seemed off her emotions and using her mother against her. Refusing to be driven mad she went into research and that's when another more hopeful call came...one she accepted eagerly.
Weapon Ability Ability: (The Chill) 'Knock Out' - Arris once knocked into someone with the jagged, though duller side of his blade can p***k someone into a deep, healing sleep.

I AM TRYING FOR THE MIRROR SPIRIT
Name: Elizabeth Alice Alexander Nicknames: Ellie, Beth, Lizzy (she doesn't really mind any of them, but she'd much prefer Ellie or Beth)
Natural Ability: Mirror Walk: Elizabeth can use any mirror (as long as it isn't just a reflective surface, but actually a mirror) as a passageway to any other mirror. This only works as long as they're big enough for her to at least CRAWL through, of course: small hand mirrors don't do much, besides letting her shove stuff into the 'space' between mirrors. Effectively, a bottomless bag. She thinks there might be small animals lost in there.
Personality: Elizabeth is a darling, really! She's just -- a bit absent-minded. The polite term is daydreamer: the not-so-polite term is space cadet. She'll drift off for hours staring at woodgrain, staring at a lake, staring at a metal pole -- looking at the little, intimate patterns it contains. She's a firm believer in everything having a pattern: some are harder to find than others, but there is a pattern. There is. Maybe it's the whorls in a desk, the shimmer of heat, the bend of an eyebrow - but she knows there is one. A pattern that's yours, and only yours; much like no two are ever the same. You're not kept to your fate.
...oh, sorry, what was she talking about again? She apologizes. She rambles. She just wants to tell you how special you are, how beautiful you are, how individual you are - and sometimes that reminds her of something she read somewhere, or someone she saw, and it's so interesting to her that Elizabeth forgets it's not interesting to everyone else. Oh. Oh, no, she's so sorry, oh gosh...! Oh gosh. Oh gosh oh gosh did she do something wrong why are you looking at her like that. :c She's sorry! Genuinely! You didn't say you DIDN'T want to hear about those things, so she just assumed - hmph. You may be interesting, but she doesn't need to care about the good side of it...you can be interesting and individual in bad ways, too.
Let's break away from that channeling of Elizabeth Alice Alexander, for a second, and talk about who she is instead of how she speaks to others. Lizzie is, first and foremost, AMAZINGLY absentminded. She's not quiet, but she has entirely the wrong ideas about what are appropriate; and she is a very strong believer in the idea that you make your own destiny. But then again, Lizzie isn't especially clever. She has trouble making lasting bonds, more likely to flit between them and inform people; because she's a mirror spirit! She's...just a reflection of them, to tell them what they are. This leads to another part of her: Lizzie is very unsure about her own hobbies, her own likes, etc. If asked, she'll return the question in kind; and copy your answer. She doesn't have very much to do on her own, but she'll eagerly follow you and spew information to whatever you're doing!
...Elizabeth doesn't have very many friends. She is lonely, I suppose. But she doesn't realize that. All she knows is that it's probably her duty to reflect people, to reflect who they are, back at them (refracted through her own mind, through her dazed, silly mind)...and she doesn't realize the irony: that she's sticking to a destiny she doesn't want, the sort of thing she tells other people to never do under any circumstances. But don't insult her! She is proud of who she is, proud of her information, and certainly not proud of you. Insult her, and she has other people to reflect; but your reflection isn't a very nice sight.
Five words to describe Elizabeth: clingy, copycat, dazed, proud, encyclopedia.
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? To make her parents proud! That's what she thinks. Lizzie actually isn't sure why: she was daydreaming one day, and someone mentioned Amityville, and oh my gosh -- well, if people are going there, then she has to as well! She has to see it all to know it all, to tell people...and teenagers are notably bad at self-reflection. She's a good girl. She'll help them out. They'll see. They'll see. She'll show them who they really are, even if they don't see it yet! <3 She's sure they're all beautiful. And if they're not, they're not worth her time.
(She's also from an upper-class spirit family, so perhaps that lends a little stuck-up air to her upringing. She just HAS to tell all the poor little people how great they are!)
FEAR Ability: Mirrorhouse: The Mind. Elizabeth uses any reflective surfaces nearby and projects an image of herself onto them, surrounding the opponent with many different targets to strike. It's supposed to confuse the opponent! ...it rarely does, because honestly, she's not very good at it and it acts more like funhouse mirrors. Each 'reflection' is too different from her, albeit in strange ways, to mistake for her.

I AM TRYING FOR THE MIRROR SPIRIT Name: Mira Nicknames: n/a Natural Ability: Mira, as a mirror spirit, possesses the ability to copy people like a reflection in a mirror and (literally) become that person, essentially becoming that person's doppelganger or twin. Personality: Mira was raised in a high-class, but strict household. Her hair, clothes, and mannerisms are all meant to reflect her upbringing. At first glance, she is a cheerful girl who is always smiling sweetly among others. With her lady-like appearance (hair, clothes and polite manner or speaking) others often assume her to be a graceful and refined character. Then they quickly find out otherwise, that she is the quite the opposite. She is also quite clumsy, either dropping things or falling down. She is an emotional character who often cries loudly about anything and everything, whether she’s happy or sad. She feels things to the full range of her emotions. Sometimes, she is hesitant, insecure, and doubtful about herself, and what she can do to help others. But when she has a goal, she devotes herself passionately and whole-heartedly. Interesting quirk: She has a sporadic and large appetite, always eating when she has the chance. cool She hides a lot of sweets and snacks in her skirt. Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? She had always admired life beyond the world of mirrors. As a child, she has always watched from afar. For her coming-of-age, she was allowed to take part in life in the outside world. She came to this school for companionship, but also because she is hoping to find something 'intangible' there. Aspiration and dreams. Her entire life has been an imitation of others. Because she is a character who mirrors other characters, she doesn't know what she truly wants. She hopes to find it out at the academy. FEAR Ability: She can create mirror abilities to absorb people’s abilities and reflect/redirect attacks for a short period of time. Don't forget to include what TYPE of Fear it is! For more information please see the FEAR guide: http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=22177831

I AM TRYING FOR THE MIRROR SPIRIT
Name: Georginia Fleur Nicknames: Gorgie, Ginny, Ginia,
Natural Ability: Mirror Walk: Georginia could use a mirror as a way to travel through to another mirror to get to wherever she may need it. As long as it is not just a plain reflective surface.
Personality:
Quiet: The little Georginia has her reasons for being quiet for such a lovely little ghoul. She was not noticed as a child, considering the other children that roamed her family's household. Her being the absolute middle child in a family of 7, she could be seen, but never heard, since all of the younger siblings, and older as well, would be yelling over each other trying to accomplish their own agendas. As the saying goes, children are to be seen, and not heard.
Clingy: As a child, either all the older children would not want to be around their younger siblings as they had other plans, while the younger children had their own agenda dealing only with themselves, preferring imaginary friends instead of other ghouls and boils. Georginia, being one of those stuck in between all of those ages, was left alone a lot. She yearned to be with others very much, and she preferred to not let go when the chance had arrived to her. It might take her a while to learn not to be wanting to be with others all the time. In fact, maybe she would be alright being by herself once in a while.
Eccentric: At first, she might already seem different from first glance. And those who did usually have guessed correctly. She might tap her foot in the air while sitting on a bench, tap her fingers against a hard surface, and the occasional swish and flick of her head going from different directions from things she had thought she had heard. And do not be surprised if at one moment, just a glance from the halls, that she might have web made out of string, pins, photos, and scraps of paper that keep her in track for what she was thinking do easily go back. A thinker, and the slight eccentric, always needs a way to figure out their thoughts, whether in their mind, or in front of them.
Thinker: Considering the fact the she was more of the quiet, slightly eccentric middle child, it is only reasonable that it would make sense she would think more than she would speak. A thinker, intellectual in a way, from thinking of so many different ways to sneak around her siblings, names for toys, making things work, and collecting all of the things that she would learn from books that she would read and the things that she had learned from experience. So, when coming up to Georginia, do not always expect a fast reply, unless she was expecting one from you.
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy?
Geoginia Fleur is interested in joining the Amityville Academy to learn to use her brains for the best of herself, and helping those around her. Along with the wanting to see others so she would not have to have that feeling of loneliness all over again at her home. Of course, learning and enhancing her skills would always come in handy for the time to come.
FEAR Ability:
1st FEAR Ability Option: Reflection (The Mind): Reflection would give the illusion to the opponent of what the opponent would want to see, but instead has given a few seconds to be able for one to attack from some other side in the process, with the use of, Georginia's hand mirror. One of the problems with this move would be that the reflections could become faulty, becoming obviously not true, in a way that the distortion of the so-called reflection would become possibly looking like a caricature, or some other way to describe a hilarious moment,
2nd FEAR Ability Option: Prediction (The Eye): Prediction would help the user to help predict what might the opponent do next by having everything seem like it goes in slow motion for a few seconds to choose the appropriate move to protect of inflict. Although, a problem if done wrong would be looking like an idiot in the middle of battle, being completely still in whatever presumed position the user, in this case Georginia, would be in,

I AM TRYING FOR THE MIRROR SPIRIT
Name: Rowena Amelia Dohenry Nicknames: Rowen, but only those who are close may call her this.
Natural Ability: Mirror Communication – Rowen can communicate through her hand mirror to any other mirror she has touched. An image of Rowen appears on the other mirror, and she can see and hear through the image. An image of the person on the other side of the mirror appears in her hand mirror and she can talk to them as if she is in the room with them. The action is instantaneous, when she chooses to speak through a mirror, she just appears without warning.
Personality: Modest – Rowen isn’t one to chase after the limelight. She tends to stick to the outskirts of groups, keeping to the shadows behind the scenes. She takes compliments well enough, even if she has a habit of not looking the speaker in the eye when they are given, and dismissing them out of hand. This does have a habit of making her all the more concerned about her image – because even if she doesn’t seem to desire the compliments – they are her favorite things ever.
Respectful – Rowen isn’t one to be rude to others. She will gladly give people the respect they are due – provided they are willing to return the favor. Disrespect her, and you can be sure that you’ll get less than a smile from the ghost Ghoul. She’s very keen on maintain her manners though, and gets super embarrassed if she forgets a social nicety.
Cheerful – Rowen tends to spend the majority of her time with lifted spirits – and it takes a lot to deflate them. Often ready to deliver a kind word and uplifting phrase to her friends, she walks on the bright side of life – even when it rains woes upon her. Though this might be because she’s never really experience true hardship before – having almost always gotten her way.
Manipulative – Rowen wants to be your friend not just because you’re good people – she wants to be your friend, your best friend, because you’ll be more inclined to do things FOR her. She is willing to go to any length to get what she wants from creeple, even if it can sometimes be hurtful or cause harm later. She’s used to getting her way, and often gets upset if she can’t have what she wants.
Spoiled – Rowen has rarely ever been told no by her parents for most of her life. If she wanted something, her parents made sure they got it for her – or the next best thing. This has left Rowen with a bit of a entitlement complex. When she wants something – she’s pretty dead set on getting it – even if she has to hurt her friends to get it.
Vain – Rowen cares deeply about her looks – she may be modest about them to your face – but inside her ego is blowing up like a parade balloon. She spends a large amount of her time staring into her mirror, making sure not a single hair is out of place, that everything is perfect – just in case someone looks at her. She strives for compliments on her looks, even if she tries to be modest about it.
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? Rowen wants the best things in life – the best way to get that is to graduate from the best places. Amityville is considered the best school – hands/claws/tentacles down. Rowen told her parents she wanted to go to Amityville, so they enrolled her. Granted, they also want what is best for Rowen, and feel that her being exposed to the world through Amityville will help her open up to others. It is their hope Rowen will make REAL friends – not just acquaintances she thinks of as tools or pawns on a chessboard. FEAR Ability: Y1 Mirror Shades– (The Mind) Rowen gazes into her Mirror and channels her fear into making exact duplicates of herself in order to confuse her opponent as to who their real target is. Y2 Mirror, Mirror– (Headlights) Rowen holds up her hand mirror at her opponent, hoping to lull them into a sense euphoric calm gazing into their reflection. Y3 Mirror, Mirror – (Headlights) Rowen holds up her hand mirror at her opponent, hoping to lull them into a sense euphoric calm gazing into their reflection.

I AM TRYING FOR THE MIRROR SPIRIT
Name: Adelaide Dobson Bogwater Nicknames: Ada, Adel
Natural Ability: Simultaneous Misreflection: The Mirror Spirit can achieve the lowest percentage of tangibility/visibility while simultaneously projecting a fully visible reflection of themselves when in front of any mirror. Objects held by the Spirit are not affected.
Personality: Adelaide’s favorite hobby (aside from dancing) is making sure she looks perfect. She does her own hair, make-up, and sews all her own clothes. Although she’s very vain, she’s not haughty and doesn’t seem to take an interest in anyone else’s fashion sense, good or bad. Her put-together appearance causes some to assume that she has a put-together mind to go along with it, but there are a few dim light bulbs in Adelaide’s mental light fixture. This often results in her failing to pick up some obvious social queues. She’s also extremely absent-minded and often forgets what she’s doing right in the thick of it. Some of her hometown locals also claim that she has been seen talking to her reflection, but Adelaide has yet to confirm this rumor—she probably forgot to. It’s also worth mentioning that Adelaide, like many ghosts, is a bit lacking in the conscience department. She has been noted by some to be lackadaisically ruthless…
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? Purportedly orphaned at 9, Adelaide was adopted by a reclusive backwoods couple of Swampthings who found Adelaide floating around aimlessly around their swampy abode one night. Her adoptive parents are lazy monsters who don’t do much in the way of daily activities, preferring to sit around in ooze and otherwise keep to themselves (when they’re not scrounging up FEAR). Try as they might, they never quite got Adelaide to settle in to their way of life (although she took their last name and did pick up some of their habits), and she gradually became something of a nuisance. (Really, sewing, dancing around, and levitating above the swamp ooze? Disappointing.) Luckily for the couple, they received a letter informing them that Adelaide had an estranged grandmother, and said estranged grandmother had tragically died on vacation during a magic show gone wrong that Gathering October. The old Spirit’s last wishes (along with a considerable amount of bestowed finery) mentioned Adelaide, and it was her wish that Adelaide enroll in Amityville academy when she came of age, as it was her grandmother’s school. (There was a minor note about how the adoptive parents had better let her enroll or else suffer the consequences, whatever they may be, but the swampy couple didn’t need to be told twice.) Concentrating on making a decision for more than a few moments is not exactly one of Adelaide’s strong points, and Amityville seemed like the normal option for most others her age, so why not agree to go? It would benefit her in the long run, not to mention it would help point her in the right direction as far as professions went…as well as get her out of her adoptive parents hair (not that they had any), who quite frankly didn’t know what the hell to do with the dreamy creature anyway. So she was off to enrollment! Contrary to what one might expect, Adelaide does love her adoptive Mummy and Deddy, and promised to send them all sorts of pretty things during her time away (ugh!). And as far as her biological parents go, it’s not Adelaide’s favorite topic, and one you’re better off avoiding…
FEAR Ability: Offensive; The Mind Mirror, Mirror, In My Hand: Adelaide turns her hand-held mirror to face her opponent, showing them a particularly disturbing reflection for a chance at frightening them.

I AM TRYING FOR THE MIRROR SPIRIT
Name: Noise Rift Nicknames: Rift
Natural Ability: Mirror Melt; in which she touches a miror and sinks into it, thusly teleporting herself to another mirror she's already looked into.
Personality: For the most part Rift is Rift. She's noisy, loves talking, joking, being around other creeple and likes to be the center of attention. The more attention she gets, the better. Sometimes this comes off really badly. It can come off like she's nothing but a drama monger and sometimes it's true. She'll blow things out of proportion. Rift is also very sensitive. If you call her a name, she'll react automatically. Sometimes it's anger, sometimes it's hurt. She wears her heart on her sleeves, so to speak. Every now and then Rift gets violent. Very violent. When this happens, something takes over her. When this happens, she looks into her mirror and lets this personality take over her, as if not of her own will. When this happens, she goes by Noise. Noise is that angry part of her she can't let go. Noise is violent and will attack anyone that is hurting Rift, be it friend, animal, or teacher. However, Noise and Rift never interact beyond looking at each other. They do not talk to each other. This is really rough, and I will clear it up in the quest thread!
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? Rift wants to learn how to control Noise. She's woken up too may times with blood shed around her, no friends, and scared family members.
FEAR Ability:
The Mind: Mirror Illusion: In which she casts a mirror image of herself to distract her target to get behind them and attack with a punch or a kick. Doesn't last long, so she has to act quickly..

I AM TRYING FOR THE MIRROR SPIRIT
Name: Violetta Webs Nicknames: Lettie. Violet. Webs.
Natural Ability: Reflection of You: Everyone has seen the movies, in which the protagonist looks in the mirror and all of a sudden their reflection starts moving by itself. Violet is able to enter mirrors and take on the form of whomever reflects in it. She can mimic movements to remain undetected, or morph the environment in the mirror and act freely, thus making it obvious that there is something very wrong. This technique is a scare tactic and its aim is often to make the person question their own sanity. Nowadays its main use is spying and gathering information. She access’s a mirror by touch (size is unimportant), so she must enter the specific mirror she wants to enchant, no going in one and reflecting in another – if the mirror is destroyed with her inside she ‘falls’ out of mirror space.
Personality: Violet would much rather be the creature that goes bump in the night than the princess rotting away in the tower; waiting for a prince that will never come. You need to love, care and make opportunities for yourself, for nobody else will do it for you. She cheats, she lies and she is more than willing to step on others if it means reaching her own ambitions. This way of thinking was drilled into her at a young age, whereas most parents raised their children to be respectable members of society, her Mother taught her how to come out ontop – no matter the cost. She has over time developed her own moral code and refuses to conform to the expectations of others; if you dislike her or her actions then it is your problem, not hers. She has never questioned her outlook on life. She never saw there was a need to; Mother is always right after all. She views success as more important than any moral that is preached to children, you are either a hunter or the hunted and she knows which one she would rather be. Being nice and playing fair... tactics for idiots in her opinion.
She was always taught to smile, even if on the inside you were boiling with rage. After long periods of chatting others cannot help but notice how little they actually know about her, she is the kind of person who would rather keep the attention from herself, taking on the role of the listener rather than the talker. She is a hollow character, one that wears a smile with very little meaning behind it.
Under her facade there is a rather naive character that radiates a childishness that is hard to place. She often talks of monsters and maidens’, skipping often takes the place of walking and candy often takes the place of proper nourishment. She likes playing the fool, often playing dumb when she knows the answer if only to laugh at the struggling of her companions - and her love of games is only matched by her love of fairy tales. She never really got to play as a child, her Mother made sure of that, and maybe that fact alone is why she clings onto her childish ways. She is attempting to relive a time in her life that was deprived of joy and laughter in the place of books and lessons; though in truth the quest is in vein. For no matter how much she wants to believe in wonder and happy endings – she cannot bring herself to place hope in such folly. She always expects the worst from the world and everyone who inhabits it, she is quite a cynical character. Even though she has learned to jump at every opportunity that presents itself, she is always secretly waiting for it to backfire and blow up in her face. Sometimes this pessimistic attitude is too much for some people to take. She has resorted to seeing the worst in people, often overlooking if not outright ignoring the good. When someone shows her kindness she repays them with mistrust and accusations of hidden motives and schemes. This outlook helps her cope with disappointment. One cannot ever be let down when one never expects anything to begin with, right? Instead of forming emotional bonds she sees new meetings as chapters in her tale, short adventures that when over are best forgotten – for sequels never live up to expectation and precious moments are best appreciated and never relived or they loose their meaning. Push people away before they hurt you, before they show you the darkness they carry.
Violet is a broken, yet elegant maiden. Her movements are fluid and dancelike and her words soft, often spoken in riddles. Many would mistake her for a woman of much older than she is because of the way she holds herself and the eloquent way she puts across her options; even when those opinions are not very nice. This is an odd combination, and makes her childish nature even harder to swallow; for how can such a cold and well spoken creature indulge in hide-and-seek and ready stories to her Kushi's on a night? She is nothing if not full of pride and confidence, from the sway of her hips to the way she walks with her head held high. She is a girl who does not stutter and composes herself even at the worst of times. She does not take any decision lightly and for this reason it is very hard to change her mind when it is made up. Her stubborn nature is never-ending and is only outshone by her desire to progress and achieve.
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? Violet enrolled into the academy to learn, this is the whole purpose of a school, is it not? The mirror ghost does not yet know what she will take from the Academy; if anything at all. Yet, she is willing to let her experiences mould her, and take on the challenges that are ahead. If she comes out of it the girl she was when she started.... well, what is time to a ghost? She is just glad to be out of the reach of Mother... if only for a second.
FEAR Ability: The Barrier: Violet is able to summon a full length mirror that absorbs damage, it shatters on impact.

I AM TRYING FOR THE MOON HUNTER
The Hunter Name: Daphne McDonolynn Nicknames: Daph
Category: Moon
The Weapon Name: Shinji Nicknames: Shin Type of Weapon: Scythe Former species of weapon: Unseelie Gender: Male
Personalities:
••• Competative; Daphne likes to turn things into competitions. She likes it when she can feel a sens of accomplishment and feels like she's winning things. It's usually made up in her head, and she can come off as arrogant and obnoxious, but she doesn't mean to. This comes from growing up with three older brothers who turned everything into a race to see who could finish chores first.
••• Hard working: Being raised on a farm in the country, she's learned the meaning of hard work. She wasn't doing any heavy lifting, but she took care of animals, kept the house clean, cooked and cleaned. She finds working to be enjoyable.
••• Stubborn: Daph's very bull headed. It's hard to change her mind once she's made it up. She's not accustomed to a bunch of change, and usually fights it at first. She fights it tooth and nail and then gets used to it and adjusts. By fighting it tooth and nail, she'll just whine and complain about it and try to do things the way they started off until she realizes it doesn't work.
••• Fighter; She might not be the best fighter in the world, but she's no stranger to it. She knows how to throw down and get serious when the time calls for it. The world isn't rainbows and kittens after all. She'd prefer not to fight, but it's inevitable given clashes of personality, greed and what not fueling the world.
Weapon ◆ Quiet; Shinji's more of a quiet weapon. He observes this way and lets his hunter make a lot of the decisions without consulting him. He doesn't mind it because, in some ways, he really can't stand Daphne.
◆ Sarcastic; When Daphne does want his opinion on something he's sarcastic. He never really gives her a straight answer, because he wants to make her life harder. It's not to say he will just leave her hanging, or let her kill herself, he just doesn't want her life to be easy. His life certainly wasn't.
◆ Quick tempted; Shinji is easily angered and insulted. That's not to say he's sensitive, because he won't sulk, it juts goes straight to anger. If he could, he would fight whoever pissed him off then and there.
Why did your human character choose to become a Hunter? She wants to understand why she's so good at detecting these evil beings. She wants to understand them, understand what makes them evil. She wants to protect humans who aren't fortunate enough to sense them, either.
Weapon Ability Swift Strike - Bye bye~! - In which she hits her opponent with the hilt of her weapon, sending them backwards a few feet and allowing her to dash away in the process.
These points will be clarified and expanded on!

I AM TRYING FOR THE MOON HUNTERThe HunterName: Abigail "Abbi" Killian Nicknames: Abbi Category: Moon The WeaponName: Viveca Nicknames: Vivi Type of Weapon: That scythe yo Former species of weapon: Will O'The Wisp/ Faeu Boulanger (More specifically) Gender: Female Personalities: The Girl+ Organized & Accounted For With a penchant for collecting pens and notebooks, Abbi really just loves being in order. Life works easier when she knows exactly where she stands, even if its just with herself. It has become nearly ritualistic to keep a moleksine on her persons with various tallies of wins and losses, lists of goals, and records of her accomplishments or failures. While this could be taken as a stark reminder of one's lackluster performances, this strict keep up of the facts help push Abbi all the harder. They are a visual tracker of her continually rising progress. This is a very selfish form of optimism for she retains the hope of job well done for herself. She holds herself to a high personal standard, but it is a flexible one that has wiggle room for her sometimes less than stellar performances. + A Bottomless Pit of Useless Knowledge Did you want to know how many apples you can eat to consume just 200 calories? Or how big the moon is? Or maybe you really wanted to know why cats land on their feet? Maybe even which is healthier for you, skim or whole milk? Well, let Abbi tell you ALL THE THINGS. This little bit of random knowledge collecting stems from mild curiosity, but more the desire for honest applications of science to real life. Never the kind of girl to be terribly creative in the artistic sense, Abbi realized fairly early on that having an arsenal of facts ranging over various subjects will eventually play out in your favor. At least, it will always be a great conversation starter! And given how she is used to awkwardly staring at people, blurting out the odd mating habits of ducks makes for far less awkward situations. + Young At Heart Even though she did recently graduate from high school, Abbi is still very much a young girl. Typically the quiet girl, she has yet to break from her proverbial shell which is a situation ripe for all sorts of potential. Most situations are approached with a childlike amount of wonder, every new experience a chance to learn something, a chance to figure things out. This can play to her disadvantage because she is not wizened to the way of the world yet, but for now she does not worry. For now she is excited for a new start, she is happy to take on a new path that her peers from back home were not aware enough to tread. Somewhat like a puppy, Abbi is unaware of any dangers that could befall her. Instead, the world is full of possibilities and she just has to figure out which one she can call her own. - Fake Geek Girl Spoiler Alert: She's not really a fake geek girl because obvi those don't exist, but Abbi is fearful of being labeled as such. With a deep seated love of those sparkly cartoon shows from Japan and the latest remaking of all those old sci-fi shows, she's still rather hesitant to talk about them for fear of judgement. To that extent she is hyper aware of what people might think. While she likes to pretend she doesn't care, she honestly does. Just getting Abbi to admit to it is rather difficult, of course. This particular vice manifests in a vaguely subconscious manner such as being careful of what she says in front of superiors or wearing what she has deemed appropriate length skirts. On the surface this isn't such a big deal since everyone is concerned with what others will think of them, but Abbi really lets it get to her. She will change her patterns if it means someone might like her, but more importantly, she will alter things about herself if they seem displeasing to the populace. This makes her wishy-washy in certain regards, and maybe there is room to change. But there is also room for it to get worse. - Red Headed Step Child With two step siblings won thanks to her father's remarriage when she was just a wee thing, Abbi has always felt the outcast in her own family. Even when she got along well with her step-mother, she grew up alongside two very high standards. The elder sister was a pinnacle of scholarly perfection and the younger brother was a leader in athletics. With two such extremes of Good Kids, that left Abbi right in the middle. And because she has no obvious talents, she became resentful. That resentment turned to bitterness toward not only her family, but also those who outshine her. Despite what might happen, she will make up a million excuses as to why she did not do better. There was clear favoritism, they're popular of course everyone loves them and not her, it was all rigged from the beginning. While she won't be overt in her judgements, she will whisper her nasty reasoning's to anyone who will listen. Having yet to learn that such lies come with consequences, she freely indulges in such things. - Sheltered From The Wolves Growing up in a small Connecticut town did not afford the teen many experiences outside the normal day to day fare that quickly becomes boring. While she was able to entertain herself with online pursuits and books under her parent's roof, now that she is older and, more or less, out on her own, Abbi is... Not prepared. One cannot prepare oneself for the myriad of adult experiences that are not the happy things movies make them out to be. And since Abbi cannot prepare herself when she so dearly loves to, it is likely she will react poorly. Stress, snappish attitudes and frantic, ill made decisions are her future undoubtedly, surely to be exacerbated by one particular entity... The Weapon+ Vibrant & Bold Viveca has an opinion on everything and she is damn well going to tell you it whether you wanted to hear it or not. She laughs constantly, she revels in every victory and happily (and loudly) exclaims her favorite things. Once a particular version of will o'the wisp with murderous tendencies, she feels quite free in showcasing not only her literal brilliancy, but the one from her stunning personality. Stunning being a matter of opinion, but she'll make jokes until everyone agrees with her. + A Carefree Life Though details of her past are unclear (and better left that way), Viveca loves what she has now. Everything is turned into a positive for her through sheer power of will and she will not accept anything else but agreement. Once that is obtained, she is happy and could honestly care less, for the most part. When things are good, they are exceedingly easy. When things are bad, she would rather not speak of them. - Snarling Wilderness While happiness is fun to play with, the faeu can snap at a moment's notice into a growling, angry thing. If something doesn't go her way she becomes a sputtering, cursing creature of spit and foulness. When confronted with a situation she does not want, the ghost will spew vile in the form of words and not care who she hurts in the process. - A Spiteful Spirit Spite and cowardice drove the ghost to her current state as weapon, and because of that she holds onto the negative aspects of herself with an iron grip. If she has deemed someone as her's, they belong to no one else. Often this comes with the stipulation that they are not even their own and if they express such a thought, she will guilt them relentlessly. Whether it is an effective tactic or not is another matter, but she will try it all the same. Why did your human character choose to become a Hunter? When Abbi was very young, she was involved in an unfortunate accident with her mother. While her mother did not survive the encounter, the daughter did and carried with her the last fleeting breaths of the one person who could always keep her safe. Since then, and possibly agitated by growing up near a number of reportedly 'haunted houses', the girl was always acutely aware of something else there in the shadows. It became a nuisance when her father remarried and the two new siblings didn't see them either, and it became a burden when no one else would give her the time to even talk of them. But someone finally did. And it was only really one that was needed. When the time came for high school to end and a new path to begin, Abbi decided that helping fight the bad guys sounded much better than frat parties and study hall. She skipped out on college applications as well as what her parents might think of their suddenly erstwhile daughter, and decided that she could make a difference somewhere in the world. It only takes one, after all. Weapon AbilityLost Soul's Fire (Headlights) Once fully charged, the rune on Abbi's scythe glows with an otherworldly light that splits into multiple, smaller, lights that hastily weave and bob around her opponent in order to distract them.
