Kyle had been inside a shop, browsing for sweets. He had a thing for them, and boy he wanted some. For a mage he some how found these candies to be restorative of his power. He grabbed a hand full of some pieces of chocolate and candy bars, after he paid he walked out of the store and sat up a bench. He watched as a few crusader's were on guard and civilian's walked around talking loudly to one another. This world may not be perfect, but it was slightly peaceful here.. ▐▐▐▐ Shenzin Sonshen ▐▐▐▐
She too, was in that store with Kyle. Being how they were close friends, she wanted to stick around him a lot. She followed him out of the store, watching the civilians as well. They didn't talk much in public. It was always that way for some reason. So she leaned back, slightly slouching against the bench and sighed heavily..

The holy knight set Sandra down on the ground and walked over to a large wooden door. "Here's an inn." He told her before walking in. It was one of the nicest places in town..

↑ Kenneth Valentino ↓   ➽ Kenneth gave a small sigh, his head held down; allowing his bangs to cover his face. With his hands pushed deep into his pockets his feet dragged slowly against the ground, his usual happy expression soured with the tight frown that had replaced it. "Brother," he hissed the word with menace, his brows furrowing at the very thought of his counterpart. Sin always did inexcusable acts, but forcing him to join the Anuelen for a short time was by far the worst. How many months had he spent ending the lives of the innocent? It had been an unfair battle already, with him in their ranks, but when Kenneth had joined there had been no hope. False Hope, wasn't that one of his brother's many nicknames. He scoffed softly and continued walking, his gaze directed towards the ground when he found suddenly ramming into another figure. "S-sorry!" He looked up in shock finding himself face to face with a blonde elf. "I apologize, I was careless and wasn't watching where I was going. Forgive me."

Kyle's eyes widened as he was bumped into. He only smiled at the other male, "It's quite alright. It happens a lot here in town." He said. He examined the male for a few seconds and shrugged the thought off, he seemed like he was in a bad mood. "You seem rather upset?" He offered some of his freshly bought candy to the other male. He couldn't eat it all by himself, even with Shenzin here. Though the female still seemed per-occupied by staring at people. Which was rather strange.

☆☆ Sandra Nataku ☆☆  As she touched the ground she followed behind him. When they entered the inn, she noticed how well put together it was. Not like anything in this town didn't look good, but this was purely amazing! "Wow! I really like this place." She said as she sat onto one of the blue couches.

↑ Kenneth Valentino ↓ ➽ "You could say that," he muttered, eyes darting to the side at the thought of his brother. When offered candy he looked back up in surprise, though instantly broke out into a small grin. "Why thank you, kind sir." Plucking a random piece of candy from the bag he popped it into his mouth, swirling it around in his mouth before his grin widened. "It's good, what do you call this?" He didn't often have time to eat candy, and the sudden shock of sugar definitely cheered him up.

He chuckled at his reaction. "It's just jelly filled jaw breakers." He bowed at the male before standing back up, "My name is Kyle." He paused pointing to Shenzin, "This is my friend, Shenzin... She spaces out quite a lot.." With that said he gave the male a little more candy before rolling up the bag and putting it on the bench. He then stretched and sighed. "Whats your name? I don't think I've ever seen you around here."

"Yeah..." was all he muttered as he walked up to the inn keeper. He explained that he needed a place for Sandra to stay and he paid three hundred silver to do so. He turned to face her, "Your room is across the hall, but I'll be out in the town square if you need me." He then left the inn and stood in the somewhat large crowd..

↑ Kenneth Valentino ↓ ➽ When handed another candy he eagerly popped the candy into his mouth. His worries quickly forgotten, swept away by the wonder that was this 'jelly filled jaw breaker'. "It's a pleasure to meet you Kyle, I am Kenneth Valentino." He paused in his introduction to break the jawbreaker, a loud crack able to be heard. "It is jelly filled," he marveled, chewing it slowly before finally swallowing. "This is actually my first time in this town, but from the short time I've been here I've found to enjoy it. It's quant, and the people here are marvelous, much better company than the last group of people I was with." He beamed before pulling a hand out of his pocket, rubbing the back of his head when he realized he had begun to ramble.

He chuckled and nodded. "Pleasure." it was good to see someone else like candy. People were usually to worried about the war to take time off and relax. "They sound pretty rough. Probably slightly boring too?... Trust me, this town is AMAZING." He emphasized the word 'amazing' quite loudly. He enjoyed the town a lot, but that's where he spent most of his time anyways. "Have you checked out any other places? Or just the town square." He wasn't one to talk much but when it came to new people living in the area, he was a talking machine...Or when they have something slightly in common.

He found the presence of Kyle to be quite uplifting, his cheerful nature contagious. "Just the town square, at least I think so. The most I've seen of this town is the ground," he admitted with a light chuckle. "But, I don't have much to do today, so I guess I'll eventually see all of the town."

He smile grew wide, "Yeah! I'll- We'll show you around." He told Kenneth, Shenzin stood up and nodded. "Yeah, it'll be tons of fun." She said. Kyle grabbed his small bag and placed it in his satchel before returning his attention to Kenneth. It was really hard to ruin Kyle's moods, specially on days like this one.

I am Kenneth Valentino, but you may call me Ken." His grin was bright as was his mood, all due to the meeting of a stranger. "Thank you, but you don't have to. I wouldn't want you to take time out of your day just to show me around the town." Though he spoke the words, his grin never once left.

He laughed, recovering quickly. "My day revolves around this. Unless I'm in combat." He replied patting Kenneth on his back before turning to the other direction. "There's tons to see in the town and out of the town. But we'll stay here." He told him before walking forward and began to point and places and names. Shenzin smiled to Kenneth and bowed as well before following her friend.

↑ Kenneth Valentino ↓ ➽ "What a comfortable life," the male mused looking about eagerly at the different places Kyle pointed out to him; he 'oohed' and 'aahed' at every single one. "You certainly seem to know this place well," he commented after some time, hands now behind his head as he looked at the building Kyle had said was an armory. "This place is so peaceful. I can only hope it stays that way." Though the last part of his sentence took on a rather dark turn, it was true. During war times it was rare that a place like this would stay so peaceful and nonchalant, opposing forces usually targeted these places.
