Welcome to the Character Profile thread. This is where all new members to the Elemental Academy must post their Character Profile following the outlined Profile Skeleton listed below.
Please remember that not creating a Character Profile is against the Elemental Academy Rules and Regulations and is subject to punishment. Creating a profile doesn't take too long and it will help others to recognize and get to know your character, or at least where your character comes from.

Character Age: Countless Centuries yet appears as a young adult male.
Main Element: Darkness

Character Appearance: Long, shimmering black hair dark like the night sky flows in luscious waves from atop his head reaching well down to his lower back as it's cut a bit shorter towards the front giving him no bangs at all but instead an easy part down the middle. His facial features are smooth yet well defined with a strong chin and jaw with light stubble from a five-o-clock shadow, soft nose, and his eyes ever burning shades of blood crimson gleam from behind the shadows cast upon his face from his hair.
This compliments the remainder of his body which is well proportioned given his impressive height and muscular structure as his muscles are well pronounced accompanied by the occasional scar along his light skin from all the years of combat and training. Atop this rests a sleeveless black shirt, the sleeves being a bit shredded from where he ripped them off the shirt itself being a bit worn. To go with this he wears black form-fitting pants that adhere to his thick legs as they lead down to be tucked into a pair of mid-length high black combat boots which are laced and then buckled with bits of steel to help protect the foot itself giving him a very distinct footstep when struck against hard surfaces.
He wears black straps upon his arms with some housing daggers that he can use in combat all the way down to his hands which are covered with black gloves to help protect others from his dark touch. Of course all of this clothing is shrouded by his large billowing cloak that takes form over his body and is made from the very darkness and shadows themselves making it a living entity and extension of his power. Hidden from there is the true nature of his power and being which he rarely reveals to any outsider but those who know him best know that he can sport a very impressive wingspan of black feathers which he can use to fly.
Character Background: Some would consider Thanatos the very embodiment of the Dark element itself and for very good reason. From an early age Thanatos was brought up with very little upbringing never really knowing his parents. No family to call his own and no restraint nor control over the darkness festering within, it didn't take long for Thanatos to succumb to it falling into the abyss. It is from here that he became a savage and brutal demonic monster ravaging the lands leaving death and destruction in his wake.
For many centuries countless lives were lost to the darkness slipping away slowly into the madness along with what was left of his soul. Before the very last bits of his life force could be absorbed Thanatos was set free from his bonds, climbing up out of the void and into the awaiting light. It was through this that Thanatos regained his spirit and took control over the darkness that had festered so long inside of him tapping into that darkness to explore the depths of his power and to learn more about himself and the dark element that he now commanded giving rise to the power that he now possesses and the presence he exerts over the darkness around himself.
This is to say that Thanatos would seem normal enough for a dark and wandering being, but where one can neither create nor destroy, the other darker side is only repressed and contained much like his own spirit was when trapped in the hellish nightmare forcing Thanatos to always be in constant turmoil with his inner demons and the realization that he could very one day become the monster he hopes and fights to never allow his students and fellow darkness users to see or become.

Gaia Username: Ukiyasan Character Name: Uki Miyoshi, Angel of Fire Character Gender: Male Character Age: Several Centuries yet appears as a young adult male, approximately mid-20s. Main Element: Fire Sub-Element 1: Light Sub-Element 2: Darkness Character Appearance: He does change outfits, but when in a casual mood, will appear as such:  Character Background: By the standards of many, Uki would be viewed as the very essence of the Fire element. Born in the wake of Thanatos's disappearance into the abyss, Thanatos's mother fell into the arms of another man. The man was an angel of Fire decent and the two had a child out of pure passion. This was the beginnings for Uki. As a child, his mother always gave him much love and compassion, being she had never done so with Thanatos. When in school as a child, everyone always compared him to Thanatos, making him out to be so much weaker than his older half-brother. This caused Uki great frustration and created animosity between the brothers, even though they had never met. Eventually, Uki couldn't take the comparisons any longer and left the heavens, roaming the world of Euphoria as a child. After several years of roaming, Uki was caught by demons and attacked viciously. Within inches of death, Uki was offered a deal by the demons, which he regretfully accepted. They mended the soul of a demon to him, causing him to occasionally lose control of himself. After that, they trained him in the arts of fire and darkness, in an attempt to strengthen him for their planned destruction of Euphoria. Uki caught wind of the plan and because to secretly hone his skills with light, as he inherently had some due to his angelic roots. Once his training was complete, Uki was released into Euphoria by the demons, being allowed to once again roam and fend for himself. To this day, Uki has seized control of the inner-demon; however, he struggles with it at times that he thinks of his brother. He knows that to completely suppress the demon, he would have to meet and deal with his brother, either befriending him and learning to like him, or killing him. Uki knew in his heart, he would never want to kill his brother, even though most of his life, he had lived in Thanatos's shadow. Personality wise, Uki is a strong-willed person, that refuses to leave people that are in need of help. He would gladly sacrifice his life in battle to protect those in need. He does tend to be a little bit flirtatious though. He doesn’t push the envelope when it comes to flirting because of his high moral standards. He has yet to find his true love, and continues to search for one.

Main Element: Ice Sub-Element 1: Light Sub-Element 2: Water Character Appearance: Character Background: Alestial was born in the Angelic Realm that lays between heaven and hell. From the moment of her birth, her job was to protect the heavens and keeping any demons that would dare try to attack heaven at bay. She wasn't born alone, she had a twin brother named Selestine, and together they grew up being trained in different arts in order to fight and protect. Alestial excelled in using the Element of Ice, and was also a master with Water, due to her angelic nature she was able to use light as well and she learned how to fight in combat without using magic as well. However, when it came to phsyical combat her brother excelled. She loved the life she was living, her father was usually busy but the time she spent with her mother and brother meant the world to her, and she loved them like no other, although she was being trained for battles, she still had an unmeserable amount of kindness within her. Her heart went out to many, even demons, which were here enemy. Not long after, when she and her brother were what you would call, their pre-teen years, they welcomed a little sister who went by the name of Celestial. One day, the family, except for her father since he was busy, decided to go have a picnic since it had been a quiet day. However, it didn't last for long, they were attacked by a hord of demons, their mother handed them Celestial and told them to run while she held off the demons. Alestial holding her baby sister did as she was told, but Selestine was more hesitant and had to be dragged away by his sister. When help finally arrive, it was to late, and their mother was gone. It was Alestial's first time experince something like this, and it was also the first time that the idea of fighting these creatures brought a mixture of fear and determination. The fear wasn't for her own life however, it was for the life of others, she couldn't believe how easily they took the life of her mother, and realized they could do that to others as well without a second thought. From that day forward, she dedicated herself to training to never let anything like that happen again. Selestine in the other hand, couldn't accept that his mother was gone, and was blamining everyone but the demons for the loss, he was starting to become a different person. While Alestial was hard at training to make sure she could protect people, Selestine had a habit of disappearing for long periods of time. Alestial worried for her brother, but her father said to let him be, it was just his way of dealing with the grief of losing his mother. As the years passed, Selestine grew more distant, and Alestial had to take over caring for her baby sister, who was now a little girl just out of her toddler years. Training everyday and taking care of a child wasn't an easy task, and she was given more to study, since her brother was hardly around anymore, her father decided that if anything were to happen to him, Alestial would be the one to take over this realm instead of Selestine, so now she had to also be trained in the art of leadership. One day, Alestial was outside training, while Celestine was in her room sleeping, during the training the worse sound you could have imagined rang through the halls, the scream of a child. Alestial turned towards the direction of her sister's room and dashed their as fast as she could, and what she saw was an image that will haunt her for the rest of her life. Her baby sister lied mangled and lifeless on the floor, and before her was her brother Selestine, covered in her blood. Alestial couldn't believe what she was seeing, before she could react, Selestine turned to Alestial, and in his face alone you could see he had been consumed by the darkness, soon he vanished leaving Alestial alone with her babysister who never stood a chance. Before long a war would break out between the Heavens and Hell, and the ones leading the charge were Alestial and her father, since it was their job to protect the heavens, however it wasn't easy, for the one leading the demons was Selestine. The battle lasted for what seemed like forever, and before long the Angelics were victorious, having slayed many demons, and having many more flee. As the clouds of battle cleared Alestial stood there on the battle field, beaten and covered in blood, she held on to an Ice Sword and was dripping red and looked down at the one she had slayed. Tears welled up in her eyes as she fell to her knees and grabbed the body of her twin brother, she had no choice but to slay him. She screamed at the top of her lungs, her father went to her and tried to consol her but nothing worked, she had become broken and was now a shadow of herself. Her father knew they had to do something before she to became consumed by the darkness, so he placed a spell putting Alestial into a deep sleep and expelling her from the heavens, erasing her of her memories. When she awoke, she didn't know where she was, the only thing she recalled was her name and how to use her power, as for her past or where she came from it was a blurr. She wondered the lands of Euphoria for many years creating a new life for herself, and she didn't know why, but deep down she wanted to dedicate her life to helping others and making sure that those with powers didn't get consumed by them, especially those of the darkness.

Character Background: Starting at a young age Nick played with musical instruments. His parents where thrilled when they found out their own son had a natural talent. He soon discovered that he could play music with instruments even after he had set them down. He practiced and practiced and could soon preform a whole orchestra by himself. His parents where enthusiastic of his progress and took him to and took him to an opera house where he witnessed a woman break a glass with her voice. As soon as he got he tried to replicate this and he did it with success but as he did it he noticed that the water in the glass would vibrate and it came to him he could slightly control water as-well.
He left the house to try the world and learn about music. He says he is 25 but the lyrics he uses in his songs makes him seem much older then he says he is. He has come to reside in the Sound Castle, though it is rather empty. He only wishes to share teh knowledge that he has amassed.

Main Element: Fire Sub-Element 1: Dark Sub-Element 2: Light Character Appearance:  Character Background: There was once a Japanese samurai, and a Japanese priestess who met each other one day in a temple ot far from Kyoto. The samurai was hoping to gain retribution for his sins, and the priestess; an escape from her life in the temple. They inevitably fell in love, moved to a nearby village where they lived together peacefully, and gave birth to their son Shinta. His father taught him the way of the sword since he was old enough to hold one. His mother taught him to have compassion for the world, but also be aware of the darkness and dangers within it. One day their village was attacked by a ragtag group of bandits and bounty hunters. Shinta's father single handedly slaughtered the group of approximately thirty to forty men. To Shinta's suprise, however; his father used not only a sword, but somehow produced and manipulated flames. With demons and demon hunters chasing them, their family was forced to leave behind the home where Shinta was raised to the age of thirteen. With that home they also left behind their peaceful life. Shinta was never given an explaination of what he saw that day. After living on the move for two years, a group of exceptionally skilled hunters and warriors had finally caught up to and outnumbered Shinta's father. Knowing his fate, he ordered Shinta and his mother to flee. Knowing that they were no longer sought after, they returned to Kyoto. For two years darkess and dispair swelled in his mother's heart until she could bare it no longer. One day his mother gave him a set of scrolls, and said that she wanted to send him to live with his grandfather at the temple that she grew up in. After he set off alone, she killed herself. Shinta never learned of this until much later. While living in the temple he continued practicing the way of the sword, learned the art of acupuncture from his grandfather, and studied the scrolls left with him by his mother. Through the scrolls he learned the past of his mother. As a child she was trained to learn the nature of light and darkness. In doing so, she was forced to welcome darkess into her heart, and later balance it with the power of light. When his father died, that balance was broken. She took her life before the darkness could cosume, and be unleashed through her spirit. After three years he found himself at the end of the last scroll. It stated that he was to take an underground path to a hidden alter underneath the temple. There he was to light the candle at the base of the alter, and meditate until the flame burned out. During his meditation he would go through a thousand trials which upon completion, he would gain the powers and knowledge of his parents. The next time he opened his eyes, nothing about him seemed aged except the length of his hair. When he retured up to the temple, it was as if no time had passed. His grandfather then told him that he could no longer stay at the temple, but rather he was to return to Kyoto. Shinta did so thinking that he would be able to once again see his mother, but to his suprise he entered an entirely different world. It was now the 20th century. With no choice, he adapted to this new age; learning how to fit in with this new society. Present day, in the year 2013, he recieved an anonymous invitation in the form of a letter. It was an invitation to Euphoria.

Gaia Username: Priestess of Athena Character Name: Dalia D'uefont Character Gender: Female Character Age: Twenty-six Main Element: Air Sub-Element 1: Ice Sub-Element 2: Lightening Character Appearance:  Dalia looks younger than she is, appearing to be just entering her twenties. This is due to her young face as well as her petite height. Measuring in at 5' 2'', the young woman is also deceivingly small looking. Though at first glance she appears very small and thin, those who are more observant will notice the well toned muscles that make her frame weigh in at about 125 pounds. Character Background: Dalia does not come from a life of hardship, nor does she come from one of lavish riches. She was raised by loving parents with steady jobs and enough money to live comfortably and never have serious financial concerns trouble them. They doted on their dear daughter, and did spoil her a little, but for the most part raised her with a solid head on her shoulders. Unfortunately neither parent shared her elemental magic. It came from her mother's side, but it skipped that generation. Her grandmother helped to teach her control, but was too elderly to help the young girl beyond that. When her powers over lightening developed at age twenty-five, she and her parents were forced to realize it was time for her to leave her small town. She needed to find people to help her control her abilities better, and so she made her way to the elemental academy.

Gaia Username: ShadowMancer_b Character Name: Ren Trananda Character Gender: Male Character Age: 22 Main Element: Earth Sub-Element 1: Air Sub-Element 2: None Character Appearance: Character Background: Hailing from a hidden valley deep in moutains in a far away land. Ren grew up an outcast farmer. His family was 'cursed' with powers inhuman. Ren's father was able to move the Earth with his will power alone, his mother was able to control the very flow of the wind and air around them. Ren was gifted, he was able to use both elements like his parents but he seemed to be stronger in using the earth like his dad. It was long after his parents passed away that Ren was treated like an outcast and was all but exiled from the village. No one would trade with him. None would even speak with him. He took this as his time to leave. The last night he was at the valley he set fire to his home carried his pack with him and left. The last sight the villagers would see of him would be his back as he walked away. It was several months after leaving home that Ren had heard of a place that was accepting people like him. It was a sort of school and it didn't require money to get into. It only required you to have talent and an aptitude to learn. Ren took this opportunity and set out for this Elemental Academy. It was in a farther part of the world that he was use to but luckily traveling on the earth or in the air was natural for him. He enjoyed it which made his life so much easier. After a long time traveling Ren finally arrived. His eagerness visible as he would take his first steps into a new life!

Gaia Username: Shadow8790 Character Name: Meldarion Tenebrae Character Gender: Male Character Age: 20 Main Element: Darkness Sub-Element 1: Fire Sub-Element 2: None Character Appearance:  Character Background: After 18 years of hardships and being forsaken by the gods, Meldarion turned from the ways of light which were taught with such fervor in his small elven hometown, and began to secretly research the ways of darkness, which his long term affinity for fire seemed to help him grasp the concepts of it faster. After learning how to cast various hexes and curses, he left his village behind in search of a master to help him learn even more. After spending a year learning from a powerful necromancer, he had heard of the Elemental Academy through rumors and whispers, and set out to find it.

Character Background: Meijo has been around the Elemental Academy since its very beginning. She's a rather ancient character with an unknown age. The offspring of the Fate of Darkness (Analyce Enwellen), and a seduced angel, Meijo takes Darkness as her major element and will occaisionally manipulate light (thought it is often said the darkness within her heart ate all of her purity long ago). She was once the Goddess of Darkness, but is now simply a resident of Euphoria.She has been married twice, and has three children (Youngest Ariel from second marriage, Older twins Ana and Christian from Sanjyurro) but has no standing relationship with any of them.

Gaia Username: Guardian_angel_doshu Character Name: Heconaru Character Gender: Male Character Age: 25 Main Element: ice Sub-Element 1: (*Optional) Light Sub-Element 2: (*Optional) Dark Character Appearance:  Character Background: Heconaru was a man that had learned he had an enate gift for element uses of ice when he was young but had no control over them. many people had shunned him away from his friends and classmates. this lead him into a solitary lifestyle for a handful of years. he eventually was kicked out of his parents place for his behavioral issues and began to live on his own. when he started to live on his own he learned the ways of being a nomad for he never stayed in one place long enough to actually attract attention from the ones around him. he still at this age did not know how to control the abilities until he somehow got a letter that had seemed to be following the bread crumbs of hints to where he might be located at. it was an invitation to a school . the elemental academy. he thought that he may be to old but then it also states that no age is turned down. it was a shock to see that a place like this would exist. so he decided to make his trek there . and that is where his story begins.

Character Appearance: (Pictures soon.) Seto is normally seen wearing a red and white decorated kimono. A katana is sheathed on his left hip under a sash. He wears a shade and wooden clogs. When he fights is a big scale battle he wears samurai armor.
Character Background: Seto's father died at a young age. His dad taught him a little bit of his fire control but because of his father's death, his training was cut short. Shortly after his father's death, Seto turned towards the darkness. He was trapped with darkness until he first joined the Elemental Schools. He met Ukiyasan who changed Seto's heart over to the fire. He was kicked out of the schools because of his disappearing for months at a time. During his absence from the school, he became a better person and vows to continue his studies. (Better story soon)
