Skyclan Territory

SkyClan's territory is a long distance from the other Clans. A large part of it is made up of the gorge, a narrow valley in the earth filled with sandy cliffs and reddish stones. At the far end of the gorge, a pool named Deepsands Pool provides the source of the River Chell. The other parts of the territory are grassland and some forest. A large Twolegplace and an abandoned warehouse lie on the outskirts of the territory. The main northern border of SkyClan territory lies just outside the Twolegplace.

Flarestorm of Skyclan

Flarestorm woke up and stretched her legs out before padding out of the Warriors den. she looked around the camp to see that she was the first one up. she yawned and went over to the fresh-kill pile and picked up a mouse for herself and began to eat. "hope everyone else wakes up soon." she thought as she finished eating.

Rockshade's flame marbled pelt shone. He had just finished grooming himself after a good night's sleep. His sister Birdflight was out of her nest and grooming her pelt as well. He stretched one last time and headed out of the den. " Hello Flarestorm. " he said passing the she cat as he went to check the fresh kill pile which was running a little low. He turned around. " Flarestorm how do you feel about a hunting patrol? " he asks her. Birdflight padded out of the warriors den and yawned. Her sharp teeth exposed. She saw her brother and Flarestorm talking and figured there was a patrol. She trotted over to them. " What are we doing this time? "

Flarestorm turned her head to see Rockshade and Birdflight up. "morning and yes, we would need more fresh-kill for the pile." she mewed.  

[Misguided Royal]

Blackstar, still asleep in his nest, rolled over onto his back, ears flicking gently. Slowly, his eyes opened and he looked around his den, the voices of other cats just outside his den meaning that other cats were awake. His eyes widened and instantly he bounded out of his nest, debris still clung to his pelt. Mouse-dung! I should be the first one awake! He scolded himself as he made his way into the heart of his camp. His pelt was tufted up in different places and moss still stuck to it, but he didn't seem to notice. "Good morning." He mewed, padding over to the group of cats. "What's this I hear about a huning patrol, can I join?" For a few hearbeats, he'd forgotten that he was leader and instead acted as if he was an apprentice once again, and he certainly looked like one in the state his pelt was in, eyes shining at the thought of going out.

Rockshade dipped his head at his leader. " Of course you can join Blackstar. " He said amusement sparkled in his amber eyes. " Birdflight, we're doing a hunting patrol. " He said to his sister. " Lead the way Blackstar " Rockshade meowed before swishing his tail so he knocked some nest pieces off the leader.

Flarestorm soon noticed Blackstar was awake and asked to join the hunting patrol. she dipped her head, so he acknowledged she was there. "our leader can sometimes act like a kit, but we respect him either way." she thought, not wanting to cause a fuss.

Craneface

Balancing on the branch of a nearby tree, Craneface watched a few warriors wandered out of the den and meet up with Blackstar to chat about something. A small gust of wind blew past, ruffling her fur and causing the branch underneath her to creak and groan as if suddenly realizing her presence. Giving a huff of disdain, Craneface leaped to the ground, taking the impact with small 'murr'. She had stayed up last night to perform watch and the lack of sleep was beginning to effect her as she practically dragged her paws to the fresh kill pile.
Grabbing a small mouse, she settled in a small incline on the ground and gently dug in, looking up time and time again to survey the clearing.

Flarestorm soon heard a creak from a branch and immediately turned her head in that direction in time to see Craneface leap to the ground and head to the fresh-kill pile. she slowly padded over to talk to her. "morning. they'll be more fresh-kill when we get the hunting patrol going." she mewed to her, motioning with her tail the party that had gathered.

Craneface toyed with the last remnants of her mouse, rolling it between her paws and sometimes under it, which she discovered that it provided a nice massage to the rough and weary pads on her paws. A purr rumbled in the back of her throat as her eyes closed for a second in contentment as the blunt curves of the bones kneaded into her calloused paws.
The sound of approaching pawsteps broached her ears and Craneface swiftly pawed the mouse back to the middle of her paws and looked up with a small look of disdain. Recognizing Flamestorm, she dipped her head in small greeting and felt her pelt burn slightly in embarrassment. She must've looked ridiculous scrubbing her paws on the ground and purring like an oblivious kit. "Ah, mrm, morning to you too." Craneface nodded, trying to scuffle a bit of dirt over the already scrubby looking mouse carcass. "A patrol sounds great. I could go out, too I suppoOse." She said, suppressing a yawn and picking herself up onto her paws.

Flarestorm didn't notice her moving the mouse over her paws. "alright, until everyone is ready, I'll call you..., but if they are taking too long... want to hunt with me?" she mewed. she wanted to go hunting alone, knowing that they could take forever forming the patrol when one or two cats can do the job.

Craneface

"Er, sure, why not?" Craneface replied, looking toward the other group to see how they were faring. Hopefully they would begin to pair off a bit, maybe into a few patrols on the borders and whatnot. Swinging her gaze back to Flarestorm, she offered up a weak smile, and kicked away the mouse carcass into the nearest bush.

Flarestorm soon purred then walked back over to the group. "are we ready to go or do we need more cats?" she asked, hoping they had enough, counting that they had Blackstar joining.

Skywatcher walked into the camp and placed the bird on the fresh-kill pile and begain walking back to the entrance.

Flarestorm soon noticed Skywatcher dropping off prey on the fresh-kill pile. she ignored him, knowing that he was on his own for hunting. "let's go, we're wasting time." she said to Craneface and started padding to the entrance, not wanting to follow Skywatcher.
