Riverclan Territory

The Southwestern part of the Lake Territory. The Riverclan Camp is on a triangle of land between two streams. The Gathering Island can be reached from RiverClan territory.

As the sun slowly came up upon the Riverclan camp, one young kit opened her eyes slowly. Looking around, she was happy to see that neither the other kits nor queens were awake yet. Stretching out her small body until her whiskers trembled. Sweetkit slowly climbed out of her nest, carefully avoiding waking any other of her denmates. Once free of the fear of waking anyone she rushed out of the nursery, looking around wildly at the camp. Being the first kit outside was exiting and instantly she found herself running around, chasing after a moss ball she found.

Wolfkit, of Riverclan

Wolfkit slowly woke up to see that his mom wasn't awake yet. he slowly got up and padded quietly away from her until he felt a thump on his tail. he squeaked from it and looked to see his grumpy mom awake. he heard her question and mewed, "was going to play with the other kit that went out..." he wanted to play with his littermates, but being with his grumpy mom it kind of didn't help.

Frostwing was asleep, dreaming of being a warrior again. she soon woke up to see her son, Wolfkit, about to walk out of the nursery. she put a paw on his tail and heard him squeak. "where do you think you are going?" she said coldly. she heard him answer but still didn't want him to go until the clan woke up.

Hearing more voices in the nursery, Sweetkit abandoned her moss ball, more interested in playing with a denmate rather than just a boring ole mossball. "Wolfkit!" The young she-kit yowled before tackling the other kit, landing on top of him. Purring she jumped off of him, tail lashing back and forth. "Wolfkit, let's play!" She had neither mother nor littermates to play with and Mistfur was always busy with warrior duties. So all she was left with was her denmates to play with.

Wolfkit was about to tell his mom to let go of his tail when he felt being tackled. he felt the weight come off to see Sweetkit. he looked at his mom, seeing her nod. "ok! lets go!" he mewed, ready to play.

Frostwing soon didn't have to let go when she saw the other kit tackle her kit. she put her paw back and nodded to Wolfkit that she was ok with it. "if he wants to be strong warrior... he needs to not have weakness'" she thought watching Wolfkit.

Sweetkit's eyes shone with excitment and her body trembled with enegry. Glancing around once she pretended as if she suddenly wasn't interested in him before she pounced on him once more. "Tag!" She meowed before she was off and running out of the nursery.

Wolfkit felt himself get pounced on again. he purred in excitement and chased after Sweetkit. "I can't wait to be a warrior like mom..." he thought as he pounced on her. "Tag. your it." he mewed as he got off and started running. before he could get far, he tripped on the mossball that was lying around. "ouch..."

Frostwing watched the kits play, she kept her eyes on her kit, to see how well he would do in play. she saw him pounce on Sweetkit and run off, only to see him trip on the moss ball and fall. she quickly moved to him, looking to see if he was hurt.

Sweetkit's squeals of excitment could be heard throughout the camp as Wolfkit chased her. She let out a squeak when she found herself being pounced on and fell down to the ground. As quickly as the weight of Wolfkit was on her, it was off and Sweetkit shot up running after Wolfkit again. She let out a small mrrow of amusement, seeing him trip. She was by his side in three easy bounds and tapped him lightly with her forepaw. "Got you."

Wolfkit felt a tap on him and saw Sweetkit had tagged him. he slowly got up then fell down again. "I think I hurt something..." he mewed, trying to stand up again. before he fell again, he felt a cat pick him up by the scruff and seeing that it was his mom. "mom..." he squeaked as he was set down next to her in the nursery.

Frostwing watched as Wolfkit tried to stand up, but fell. "must've hurt something when he fell..." she thought as she picked him up before he fell again, taking him to the nursery and setting him down next to her.

Cricketchirp of Riverclan.

Cricketchirp lounged in the sun as his clanmates woke and started moving around. It was far to early to move in his opinion but he didn't have much of a choice. It would soon be time for him to join the mornings border patrol but until his clanmates got up he had no plans on moving. It was warm right here."Good morning!"He called waving his tail whe he saw Frostwing. He tilted his head as Wolfkit fell over.Sitting up he called out to her."I hope he is ok."

Sweetkit watched in dismay as Wolfkit was carried off by his mother. She padded after them slowly, before crouching down. Wolfkit must be pretending! He thinks that if he fakes an injury I won't suspect him, but I will! She wiggled her haunches, prepared to leap at him before suddenly she felt a paw on her tail. "And just what do you think you're doing?" The young she-kit's ears fell and slowly she tilted her head to look up at her older littermate; "I was going to tag Wolfkit. He's faking an injury, thinking he can fool me." Mistfur shook her head with a sigh, slowly lifting her paw up from her younger sister's tail. "No, he's not faking anything. Wolfkit is actually hurt." Sweetkit sighed and shuffled her paws. "Well now who will I play with?" Mistfur placed her head to the side, tail swaying back and forth slowly. "Well first, I want you to ask Wolfkit if he's okay, then you can come back and I'll play with you."Mistfur.

Sweekit squeaked with excitment before rushing over to Wolfkit. On her way over there however, she tripped over her paws and landed with a small 'umph' on her belly in front of Wolfkit and his mother. "Hi Wolfkit!" She bounced up, seemingly completely unharmed. "Are you okay?"

Wolfkit wasn't fond of his mom taking him away from playing. he tripped of course, but seeing that his mom was only trying to help him, it wasn't helping. "mommy... I'm fine..." he mewed, standing up and staying up. see." he saw her icy glare back at him, knowing that he shouldn't have spoke up. soon he heard Sweetkit come with a bound. "I'm fine... just tripped... mom is making a big deal out of it..." he mewed, whispering the last part.

Frostwing layed down next to Wolfkit and gave a icy glare to Cricketchirp before looking over Wolfkit again. she wasn't tolerating with Wolfkit saying he was alright, he soon knew and stopped what he did. she soon turned to see Sweetkit come over and talk to Wolfkit. she wasn't phased by it, it was his littermate and she probably wanted to know if he was alright. "morning Mistfur." she mewed, sorta of coldly to alittle warm tone.

He laughed at the glare. Well if she was able to focus on him long enough to give him such a cheerful greeting then Wolfkit most likely didn't need to be taken to the medicine cats den. Good."Ah you're as cheery as always. "He said as he sat up and started grooming his head.

FeatherStar sat at the base of her den watching her clan come to life. As she watched the deputy setting up patrols FeatherStar called out, "I can take a hunting party with me." She stood and padded over, her tail twitching with the excitment of a hunt. "I will take Mistfur, and Cricketchirp with me." FeatherStar mewed.

FeatherStar sat at the base of her den watching her clan come to life. As she watched the deputy setting up patrols FeatherStar called out, "I can take a hunting party with me." She stood and padded over, her tail twitching with the excitment of a hunt. "I will take Mistfur, and Cricketchirp with me." FeatherStar mewed.

Cricketchirp bowed as Featherstar came over."Good morning Featherstar!"He replied merrily."Sounds like a good idea."He liked hunting, especially fishing but he didn't think that was in the plan.
