Shimmer smiled as the they were all on the starting platforms.She gave menacing looks to the weaker tributes and gave a small nod to Piper and Katrina.When the booming voice said one and the alarm went off she dashed to the cornucopia.She didn't bother with the other tributes and ran straight into the inner circle of items in the cornucopia with amazing speed.She headed right for the throwing knives.She was determined to take them all.She was planning on taking the cornucopia so she didn't worry much on grabbing other things.

Amber was hyperventilating as the countdown began.She kept her eyes shut and her token close to her lips.Her legs were shaking and when the counter hit one and the alarm went off she let out a scream and opened her eyes.She was frozen at the sight it had just begun and she had already seen death before her eyes.She watched as Piper killed the tributes from six without hesitation and almost fainted.

But then she thought about her family she kissed her token and ran to the cornucopia.She noticed the careers were already around the inner ring of items knowing that her best chance of getting a good item was in the middle ring she gulped down her fear that was lumping in her throat and made a grim decision.She ran into the middle ring and quickly grabbed a backpack, quickly swung it over her shoulder and ran off looking for Joshua.She nearly escaped when she felt a pang in her stomach.She flew back hard onto the ground.

It was the boy from nine.The big innocent looking farm boy had just punched her square in the gut and was getting closer to her with some rope in his hand.She looked at him in horror.He planned to choke her to death and Amber couldn't make a sound come out of the mouth.He looked away to see his district partner fall under the blade of the boy from 2.

Amber snapped out of it and yelled."Joshua!" She kicked furiously at the boy from nine making as much distance from him and her as possible."No! I refuse to die this early.Joshua Help me." She thought as she kicked him in the face.But he still kept coming at her.

Shimmer grabbed the first three throwing knifes and found the boy from five she threw one at him and it sunk deep in his back.She hurried to him as he dropped to his knees.She made sure Electra was watching and she slit the boys throat with a smile.She then pointed the bloody knife at Electra and mouthed the words "You're Next!" To her.She pulled the knife from his back and walked off to the cornucopia ready to kill anyone in her way.

Jasper looked around the circles of supplies, then the ring of tributes surrounding it. And in the middle ring he saw what he wanted. The shiny axe blade glinted in the sunlight. He looked around the tributes and found Electra and Piper. Okay, he'd get the axe then head out. He took a deep breath as the gong rang and sprinted forward, he ran towards the middle ring and dipped his hand down and swooped the axe up from the ground. Then he ran back to where he saw Electra was, but he was forced to the ground and he was prepared to fight but he saw he was only Piper. He nodded and pushed her off, and jogged over to Electra. She was already in the water of the pond, and from the look of her swimming it was deep enough to drown in. Jasper and swam in the ponds in the forests of 7 plenty of times, he was sure he wasn't as good as the 4 tributes but probably pretty close. He dove into the water and swam up to the nearly drowning Electra, he pushed his free arm that wasn't holding the axe to push her up a little. Just until they made it to land, then he recoiled a little bit and looked at the bloodbath. Then he saw Glimmer and the evil eyes she had for Electra. "Come on, before she plants a knife in your back..." He said as he turned and looked at their surroundings. There was a little bit of forest right in front of them but ahead of that he could see Mongolia trees. "I think we should go that way, we're ahead of everyone else we could get pretty far." He whispered looking at her.

Shimmer stood and was breathing heavily as the bloodbath came to a halt. She saw people already on the other side and people swimming. The boys for her district and Pipers went to go get them in the water. "Leave them. We don't want the games to end so soon. We want them to have a good show." She said putting her hand up. They followed her order. "Go pile up the bodies. Make the clean up a bit easier for them." She told the boys and they immediately piled up all the dead tributes together. She wiped the blood off her face and her knives, She walked over to Piper and smiled. "I want you to go look for tributes to kill with your district partner. You let the boy from seven and that ugly girl from five get away. So get ready and get going." She said with a sigh. She looked over to Marline."Good job. Lets keep up the work. I hope to be in the finals with you." She said wanting a bit of a challenge. She went inside the cornucopia and smiled when she saw Katrina. "Hey. You okay?" She asked her.
