Those still in pods, walking through the fairgrounds of Halloween, would hear a soft, possibly familiar voice using them to deposit their gains into the nearest transfer portal, find a secluded area, and wake-up. There is a new mission, wake-up.For those awake and about on the island, a text message was waiting. Text From Clarice Sinclaire: Life Assistant The nature of the current golem mission has changed. All unassigned trainees and hunters are required in the pod room by 0900. Those waking up or arriving to the room are greeted by the sight of the Life Assistant, bearing a clipboard and writing aggressively on a white board that had been set up in the pod room. At her side, Dwight fussed and made comments on how if she would only give him an hour or two he could set up a much more impressive demonstration for them because some of these trainees really needed pictures to really get the message across...The blonde woman added a few smiley and frowny faces to the board, and gave the other hunter an expectant look, eyebrows raised. "Not really what I..." She drew another frowny face, this one pointedly staring at Dwight. Judging him. Disapproving of the words that what were coming out of his mouth. Clarice then gave him a matching one, and so he mimed zipping his mouth and went to sit attentively in one of the uncomfortable plastic chairs that had been dragged in for this little briefing. the OOC This ICly takes place once the Fright Night booths start coming down. Go ahead and wake-up/enter/mingle ~ actual mission will be posted later ~ !

All things considered, Ami's gains weren't horrible. A decent load of minipets and a decent hunk of cash would soon be hers.
She noticed Clarice drawing faces at Dwight and sighed. She loved Clarice's attitude so damn much.
The life trainee would've helped out her division assistant, but luckily she didn't need to draw frowny faces. Ami had one permanently sketched on her face. Instead she simply walked in and waited for the presentation to take place. Alone. Just the way she liked it.

Upon her arrival in the pod room, Mimsy noticed an unfamiliar face. It seemed a logical conclusion that this might be the 'Clarice' behind the message, but inquiring about her identity to gain certainty on the matter now was a ridiculous, novice move. She would figure it out at some point, she was sure.
The person she was greeted by, however, was disappointingly familiar.
She stared pointedly at Dwight with a frown. Judging him. Disapproving of his existence within five feet of her.
She moved to make it six.

Clerise strolled into the pod room, a spring in her step. This week had been ********' fantabulous. She skipped out on a stupid golem mission, and then had some good feelstalks with Otto and Rep, even if Rep had been a retard and did something stupid, but really, time number 99 who was counting, and--
She'd found her cousin again!
The acrobat took a seat, settling in all sprawled and lazy like she was some sort of giant jungle cat.
Upon seeing Mimsy, Clerise wiggled her fingers at her in greeting, smirking up a storm. "Helllloooo, spiiiderrbitch~"

Kostya coughed, stirring in his pod. At least he was no longer a mermaid, he supposed. That was always good. He pushed the lid of his pod open, crawling out.
It had only been a few days, but the Russian felt...stale. Like a book left out, or the dusty inside of a car.
He shuffled to a plastic chair, eyes on the floor, not noticing anyone-- but, uh.
Konstantin DID check to make sure he hadn't brought any glitter back with him. That would've been mortifying.

Syd hid a yawn behind her hand as she walked into the room, looking a bit sleepy. All in all, she hadn't done too bad at Fright Night. She'd gotten a handful of minipets--or things she sort of thought might be, and she had only been soaked, frozen, stuck her hand in minipet poop--
Okay, maybe she'd done worse than planned. But thanks to the rose, she didn't mind nearly as much as she could have! With that thought she glanced around before heading to a chair at random and sitting down. Unlike the others, she grinned slightly at Dwight and Clarice, no judging involved.

Mimsy thought she heard something, but sarcastically remembered that subhuman shitparticles could not actually speak, so she brushed it off as a figment of her imagination. Probably Svensyl.
<What? I didn-->
She tried to mentally recite as many digits of pi as she could to drown him out. Everyone out. Everyone that insisted on being terrible, at least.

Harrison's haul hadn't been bad either. He'd stuffed his genie bottle full of not-so-willing test subjects, and after getting Dozy squared away found himself back in the pod room.
His mouth still tasted vaguely smoky, and when he touched his lips and lower jaw he expected to encounter searing heat- but instead they were cool, and twisted up.
He felt grumpy and uncomfortable.
Another mission? Did it have to be now? He hauled himself from the pod. His expression lightened marginally, for Clarice, because her being here meant it was probably important and all, but...he looked longingly at the Exit sign.

Sasha poured herself into the room. She didn't look happy. In fact, she looked like she was doing her best to hold back tears. All the time. She promptly walked along the nearest wall, doing her best to blend in. There was a blood-red rose clutched in her hand - and yes, she was talking to it.

Rep climbed out of his pod with the intent look of a guy who wanted to get into break time after being a ******** midget. It felt good to be of a decent height again at the very least. His intent look wilted and faded as he found himself faced with what looked like an impromptu lecture and no prospect of a breather. Trapped. Great.
Clarice got a wary and almost irritable look - he still wasn't entirely sure where he stood with her for the time being after all the strangeness that spanned between her leave and the present day. He had no idea who the asian bloke with her was, but he looked like he'd just been sent to his room without supper. He almost felt sorry for him.
Searching the room it didn't take long to spot the human raincloud that was Harrison and gravitate to his side. "A ******** meeting." he hissed in an undertone with a curl of his lip, letting the word drip with the irritation he felt.

Wilson silently walked into the room, one hand behind his neck. He had done alright during the festival, though not as great as he would have liked. It had been an interesting experience, at least. It wasn’t everyday he could go to Halloween and not be expected to fight somehow. Such excursions were beneficial. He curiously eyed the other occupants in the room while he rolled his neck. His gaze lingered on Ami briefly before he decided to hang near a wall and a decent distance away from the Life trainee. It took the trainee another moment to recognize the Life assistant. It had felt like such a long time since he last saw Clarice.
Blinking, he looked around for a certain sun hunter. Softly and sarcastically, he called, “Oh, dear sister~?”

"Hey baby, hey baby, heyyy."
Madeline materialized near Wilson's shoulder, draping her long arms over his and placing her chin in the crook where his neck and collarbone met. She was very much excited to have her full height back, and was exercising every possible use of it with no shame. It felt like they were diving right out of one thing and into another - but then, Madeline guessed she should have expected this by now. Sighing quietly, she pulled away and bumped her shoulder against his, shaking auburn curls out of her eyes.
"Guess its time for a new event to go down, huh?" She rumbled quietly to him, glancing at the mingling hunters and trainees all around.
Fun, fun, fun.

Ofelia was happy, happy, happy. She'd managed to get three minipets and she got to see Before in a golem form. There were also hugs and other things and now a -mission-.
Life was hella good.

Melvin had gotten more minipets than he expected, and wanted to thank both Candace and Rin for being such good sports in helping him. However, just as he woke up, he was informed they had to head off to another room for debriefing. Wait? But they JUST got back? Couldn't he have a cup of coffee first? He felt both jittery and cold in his stomach, not to mention a nap would have nice, but he followed along with the rest.
The group of faces didn't seem to be clacking their heels in glee over being here, and Melvin found a spot before waiting to hear what was going on. There was a sinking dread over the idea of a mission. He'd been sparring, but he knew he wasn't any good. Could he die this mission?

Thanks, once again, went to Regal for Lex making the meeting fully dressed and groomed. Having a screeching Gryphon in one's head at 6AM every morning made for a great, and horribly awful alarm clock. He was finishing off a granola bar as he walked in, taking note of the people in the room.
He only knew Ami.
There were mostly girls in the room.
Stay classy.
Assuming that the woman in front was the one who'd organized the meeting, Lex pocketed the wrapper of his breakfast and walked up to her, offering a hand and a charming smile. "Alexei Jamil, Life division. You must be Clarice."
