 Shane had just pulled up into the campus with all of his things in his blue ford f-150. He was dressed in his black muscle shirt with brown plaid over shirt and dark denim jeans with brown sperries."Guessing I'm the first one here."He said shrugging with a small smirk on his face looking at the nicely done courtyard with his dark brown eyes.

 "Nope!" Said a quiet voice. Shortly after Ushi got up from where she was sitting and walked over to him. Once she was infront of him you could see horns gold horns sticking out of her head, but she didn't seem to notice. She offered her hand out for a hand shake, an American tradition she liked more than bowing. "Hi ya, I'm Ushi. you can just call me Ox if you wanna." She offered him a slight encouraging smile "And you would be...?"

Shane jumped to the side slightly when the girl came up to him."Woo."He said holding onto his chest then started to laugh softly and smile."Sorry didn't see you there, hello Ushi I'm Shane."he smiled shaking her hand, he knew a few things about American traditions since he had dated one while he had lived out there."I'll just call you Ushi if you don't mind."He chuckled lightly then smiled brightly.

Ushi was silently happy that she had managed to suprise him "Nice to meet you,I don't mind at all, most people call me Ox so I just go by whatever." She said laughing a bit herself, she was really tired, she had had a vey strange day so far and it had worn he out to a point that she wasn't in her normal mood. "I'm sorry I startled you."

Shane smiled laughing a little."From where I'm from I would get slapped if I called a girl an ox."he laughed scratching the back of his head."Nah its cool just I wasn't expecting to meet someone so soon especially a girl who goes by Ox and enjoys scaring the crap out of people."He said jokingly laughing at his own joke."You alright you look tired."he said reading her face easily.

Ushi laughed at his jokes but stopped when he asked his question and simply smiled "Yep, I'm fine. It's been a very long day." She continued to smile lightly but she still looked tired. She was about to say she should probably go when curiousity struck her "Kinda weird question, but are you just a human?" she got a human kinda "vibe" from him she wasn't sure why.

Shane laughed a little more when she had laughed."Yeah I know what you mean I had to drive all the way here."He said placing his hand on his lower back and began to stretch his stiff body a little making a few cracking sounds as he did so."Hmm..your right weird question."He laughed again a little."Um I guess so ha i'm not mixed with any other species if thats what you mean but i'm not an ordinary human."he said smirking a little."And your not a regular human i'm guessing."He said already knowing the answer.

Ushi smiled lightly but realized what he was probably talking about. She reached up on her head and felt the sharp poke of a horn "I'm sorry about that, I'm not good at controling it yet. I'm not even sure what causes it to happen." she said as she pulled her, now bleeding hand, down from her head. "It's a new thing for me..." she said blushing a bit, she wasn't usually very open about her curse, but she felt she needed to answer his question since he answered hers.

Shane tilted his head slightly to the side."I don't mind you just haven't learned how to control your power yet."He said with an encouraging smile. Shane looked at her hand that was now bleeding and quickly reached out for her hand."Here let me see that."he said holding her hand with both of his and quickly his eyes flashed a bright radiant green as did his hands that quickly began to heal the round and not long after his eyes and hands returned to normal her hands were completely healed and he wiped the blood off on his jeans.

Ushi smiled lightly, she was really tired and was starting to feel funny now Hm... I already scoted out the dorms but I feel bad leaving him here alone she thought the smiled up at him "Thank y-" She began, but was interupted by a large eruption of smoke "ouuuu!" She finished off alarmed by her transformation, her Ox voice a little quiet and calmer "What the heak?!?!" She asked freaked out at her Ox form "I'm sorry about that..." She said bowing her head respectfuly, trying to embrace the Japanese culture "Um... perhaps I should go..." She sugested still a little stunned from her transformation.

Shane looked at her confused then moved in closer to see what was wrong."Hey you alright want me to take you to the nurse?"He said holding his arms out to catch her if she was to fall. When the smoke went off Shane emerged from the cloud in the air doing a perfect somersault before landing perfectly."Ushi?.."He said completely taken by surprise from what had just happened."Maybe that would be the best thing to do want some help to your dorm."he said laughing nervously not sure what to do since this was the first he has ever seen something like this.

Ushi bowed her Ox head once more to show her thanks "No, it's alright." She picked her discarded cloths from the transformatioon up with her horns."I'm sorry to bug you." She said bowing again, not really sure why this time. "I'll see you around." She said and took off twords the dorms. [Exit to Yuryoku dorms]

Shane ran up to her before she had left."Here text me sometime if you wanna hang."he said quickly pulling out a paper with one hand then using his telekinetic powers to pull out a pen and within seconds writing down his number and putting it in her pocket above her horn."See ya around."He waved turning around and slowly walked back to his truck to grab his things.

Ushi was glad she had been able to stop and not cut her new friend, she wanted to stay and talk more as well as help him but she knew if she stayed she might transform back with him around. "Will do, see ya." She snorted in and took off again. [exit]
