★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★✰

This is the merged thread for chpter 3.
If you are a from poena privus, then you...
- Hear a loud commotion from above. Something has broken through the large gateway outside and the main doors of the castle. You are inclined to rush upstairs to investigate. - Upon going upstairs, you discover that the cerberus knights, ars lilium, and some others have broken in. You are aggravated they are interfering with the greater good, and must push them out of your castle.
If you are with the knights and those helping, then you.... - Have used your brute force and ability to break into the gate, having found all other quieter entries completely sealed off. - You are met with several reaper and blackheart guards, who are adamant about letting you pass further into their sanctuary without meeting blades. - You should use whatever means you can to find where the kids are being kept, and how to get there to rescue them.
If you are a captive, then you...
- Should decide if you want to attempt to overpower Sibelius, who has remained behind to guard you, and try to escape, or if you linger behind, and try to wait for help. -or...if you want to cause trouble and mayhem. - Should you attempt escape or to cause trouble, sibelius will more than likely inflict a bit of harm on you for your own good.
★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★✰
Noise from above suddenly shook the foundation, dust leaking from the rafters into the cellar and sprinkling upon those within it. Runa sighed and returned to her subordinates, a flicker of annoyance marring her gentle features. "It seems we have company. It would be rude of us not to greet them, would it not?" she purred, her eyes gazing lovingly between each subordinate. "Sibelius, my dear, please stay and give the young ones your protection. I fear the worst should they amble upstairs and become caught in the crossfire." Runa disappeared up the stairs, expecting the others to join her.
Sibelius had silently nodded to his mistresses order, and he placed his solid body in the frame of the door, his arms crossing over his chest like a bouncer. He kept his quiet, yet piercing gaze on the captives, a frown forming on his face as his eyes narrowed. "It would behoove you not to try anything weird. I don't want to hurt you, but if I have to in order to keep you safe down here, I will. Some light bruising, loss a leg, eye...well, you have two for a reason. Better than going upstairs and getting yourselves killed."
Light sobbing suddenly sounded in the cage that the infected man was in, which turned into gutteral, wretching sobs. "Killll me," he sobbed. "KILL MEeeeEE." He rocked back and forth in his cage.
Poena Privus the ancient ruins of the kingdom's second royal family. It looked dark within the trees that gnarled and twisted around it, as if protecting it. Such ancient arbors and strong protective magic prevented them from finding alternative methods of quieter entry, and the front doors were the only option.
Miusa, grumpy and annoyed, broke them apart with a little more joy than was appropriate for the situation, having summoned the two- headed spectral dog she liked to call "Garm". There was movement within immediately as two reaper guards vacated the castle, all aiming to stop them entering further.
"Turn back to where you came, knights and followers!" one cried, a female who wielded her scythe like a glaive. The other silently agreed with his comrade, glowering at the group in front of them. "We respect your brothers, but please, turn back to where you came. This is not a matter for you to get hurt in." he spoke lowly, but sincerely. "If you press on, we will have to engage you."

Uaithne wasn't sure what to expect when he stepped closer to Runa and declared himself Majin for the whole room to hear. He most certainly didn't expect for not just one of his friends but two of them to step up to protect him. He glanced over at Cedar, who whispered to him in a hushed tone that they wouldn't take him without going through her first, and then to Kalypso who said that he was lying and that she was the Majin and the one they wanted. He was a bit on the wide eyed side, half thinking that Runa's words and evidence against his kind would have swayed people to her side and against the Majin that were spreading such infection. It would seem that he was wrong and owed them both an apology, once this was all over he would be sure to do just that. They just had to figure out how to get out of here was all... an idea that seemed to be a touch unlikely at the moment. He would do what he could though to help them get out of this place if at all possible, his magic could be on the iffy side since it needed a conduit to work but still, he'd do what he could.
Turning back to Runa he wasn't sure what to think when she said that they didn't harm or kill young Majin, that she only wanted to know what kind spread the infection. Did that mean that not all of them did? The idea that it was just a select portion of the Majin, while still a weight upon his shoulders, did give him that ray of hope that one wanted in a situation like this. Perhaps he wasn't one of those? Perhaps he wasn't risking spreading such an infection, one that was so 'brutal' as Runa put it? He hoped so... he didn't want to be the cause of such things. She started to speaking saying that 'we only want' but the sentence was cut off by a whole lot of noise upstairs that caused him to jerk his head upwards, glancing toward the ceiling, "Huh?" What was going on up there? Seemed to be rather loud, people crying out, alarms going off, and the very walls seeming as though they were shaking around them. He turned to Runa when the woman claimed that they 'had company' and his eyes went a little wide. Had people realized they were missing? Had they come to get them? It was wishful thinking perhaps, it could be anything or anyone that had appeared, but he wanted to hope for the best.
When the woman said that they would rude not to greet their guests he felt a moment of hope that this would be the opening they needed to be able to get out of this place... no such luck, not when she told the scariest of the two Blackheart, not to say the dragon wasn't scary, to stay with them. Damn, here he'd hoped that perhaps they would have a chance to slip away. It wouldn't seem as though that chance was theirs though, not with that one watching them... especially when he so easily threatened them. It was almost funny, in a morbid sort of way, how the man could threaten to hurt them for their own protection. It made him wonder all that much more what it was that was going on upstairs. Who was up there? Nothing that they would be able to figure out so easily since they were trapped in their broken cage by the Blackheart. Reaching out he caught hold of Cedar and Kalypso's arms, pulling them back away from the bars, not trusting the guy to not make examples of his two friends because they were too close to the bars.
Thoughts of escape were interrupted as the man in the nearby cage seemed suddenly to start crying, something that had him jerking his head over to glance in that direction. The man looked so miserable, going from demanding to be able to eat them to instead wanting to die. It was a depressing sight and one that caused him to wonder why they were making him suffer in such a way. Locked up in a cage, down in a store room. Was there even a cure for what was wrong with him? Or was he just some sort of example of 'what not to do' to be showed off to prisoners and members of Poena Privus alike? He'd like to hope they were striving for a cure to save him instead of them doing the latter. It was hard to think the best of people that had taken him captive but it was something that he would at least make a passing effort to do... after this was all over at least. Glancing up toward the ceiling he found himself hoping against hope that, if it were some sort of rescue attempt, that they might have someone capable of dealing with a Blackheart that could punch through walls... if not it might get messy rather quickly.

An infection by Majin? Mia wondered in awe at the fact that she had apparently been fed on by one or more Majins without her knowledge. The other race had never bothered Mia, and she held nothing against them. But the thought that she had been fed off of without her permission, and it could possibly turn her into something like the poor creature in the corner, or the monster others had told her that caused the havoc at the ball...it sent a true shiver up her spine. But then again, so did the woman outside the cage's tone of finality and promise of force.
Mia's ears flicked back and forth at the cacophony around her. She thought the boy next to her who had been leading and asking questions had handled things rather well, and his question may have gotten them somewhere. But then as the white tiger girl nearly attacked the bars in a rage, Mia didn't know whether to be alarmed or annoyed. This girl wouldn't be helping any of them if she provoked the woman in front of them, which it soon was proved she did as the bars holding them in were blown apart.
The bobcat's eyes narrowed as the Blackheart who had been one of their captors ridiculed them in a tone of disgust. Mia opened her mouth to address him, her anger finally boiling over, although she honestly had no idea who among them were Majin, although there certainly couldn't be many considering that most in the cage were mononoke. But three of the others beat her to it. The boy who had nearly been seduced by the woman turned himself in, as did Kalypso, a girl she recognized from the library. The witch who had been abrupt and given their captor some attitude earlier also spoke up. Mia nearly shook her head in exasperation. These people were all being far too rash.
Mia moved to the front of the cage, making to step out when the explosion rocked Poena Privus. She grabbed onto the bars near her in order to stay upright. She winced a little as she pulled her hand away form the sharp, broken bar segments. She'd need to look at that later. She watched wide-eyed as all the guards and the woman raced upstairs. Except for that one captor. Although she'd cooled down, the man still had gotten under her skin. So, taking a deep breath, she took the opportunity Runa had given them and stepped out of the cage. She made no aggressive move, but she made sure to stare Sibelius straight in the eye, attempting to ignore the wailing of the creature in the corner.
"I don't see how you are in any position to condemn any of us," she said, her suppressed anger bubbling through. "You spoke of how we disgust you, but as I recall, both myself and others spoke up and gave your mistress our names readily, waiting for instructions. Many of us would have been willing, I'm sure to take those 'simple bloodtests' if that had been communicated to us early on, instead of using scare tactics and keeping us in the dark. At least two of our Majin fellows have also bravely stepped up to protect the rest of us and help whatever your leader is attempting. So feel free to kidnap us, chain us, keep us in a cage, but don't dare to insult those of us who stepped up and were willing to help," she finished eyes blazing. This may not have been the smartest move given the person she was speaking to, but this was her own way of dealing with her stress.

Scentana was horrified at the whole scene. First all the yelling the the revealing of the creature in the cage. She let out a mix of a squeek and a yelp. She moved more to the other side of the cage, away from the horrid thing that wailed for it's death. How could they let something like that live? Would it not be more kind to have killed him? She hugged herself, shivering at her own words.
Several of the others announced their majin status at the woman's request. One to protect the others, another to protect him, and still another to protect everyone. Sin knew they all couldn't be majin, she had nothing against them anyway. There was a few in her village that were looked upon kindly as they never feed from anyone. But then again she worked with the public in the bakery; she could have been fed on at any time.
The walls shook with a boom and Sin gasped, looking up a the ceiling as bits sprinkled down. What in the world? Had...had rescuers come for them? These other witches had to have friends and family that would miss them. After all she didn't know how long any of them had been gone, even herself. Suddenly Mia moved and addressed the large man that was guarding them. She was defiante, strong willed as seemed to be her animals nature. But Sin's mind began to work, she had to help somehow! Resue was just upstairs.
Mind thinking rapid she used Mia's distraction to remove the small acid vial from her sleeve. With a quick appraisal of her bonds she put a drop or two on the place that would let her break her bound hands and feet with a bit of force. She was farther from the man so hopefully the smell wouldn't be too strong. She quickly recaped the vial after and hide it in her sleeve again. Finally it ate through enough of the bond and she quietly pulled on her wrists. With a gentle snap the bond broke; she repeated it on her feet but still kept them together. She had to wait and make her move when it was right.

Aodhan didn't like this. He listened, standing with his rather small group, wishing they had had more time to call for others. Surely other knights would have come right? He listened to the strained words of the male blackheart. "Engage." What a polite way to say kill you.
The blonde looked around at the massive structure. He was glad his facilities were a lot more...colorful. But now wasn't the time to be thinking on colors of walls and decoration. He had a mission, and that's what he was here to do.
"You took children. Good children, who've done nothing wrong. You took witches. Was any of this voluntary? If so, I'll walk away, but from my guess, no, it wasn't." Anger pulsated through his veins, making him forget the plan he'd come up with. He was quick to anger, quick to judge, and quick to make a move, which left him quick to become an idiot in some situations, but his heart was pure.
He'd get these kids out. Using his gravitational powers against the earth, he gave way to the ground, leaving a hole for all who chose, to follow him under and into the stronghold without a head on attack. Head on, was murder.
Confusion, always seemed to be the better card. He dropped into the cold earth, running into the sewers that he'd come to know well from his commanding officer. The smell clung to his nose and stung his eyes, but he kept running. Praying some of his companions followed, or this would probably be his last stand.
"Where are those damn kids!"

Cruor looked up immediately when he heard the commotion from up the stairs, his eyes narrowing before he glanced at Sibelius. Most likely the Cerberus Knights had come looking for the children that they had taken, but he could not stand for such a blatant intrusion when it came to his home. Keeping his gaze locked with Sibelius for a moment he gave the other man a curt nod before moving to follow Runa upstairs, running towards the gates immediately, eager to defend the fortress.
Once he was outside his eyes locked on those coming in, watching one of the knights create a hole in the ground and diving down inside. With a feral snarl Cruor gave chase, running at the hole even as he drew his blade, leaping down into it and giving chase. Not much time had passed but the man ahead of him did have a head start and most likely knew he was being chased; armor wasn't really quiet. Despite that he called his pyromancy and aimed them at the man that was running before him.
"Halt! I will not let you go further!" he called after the other man, most of his blows aiming to singe, to distract, or slow down; he didn't want to harm him, just stop him. "If you do not stop I will be forced to be a little less friendly."
------------------------------
Kailash accompanied the others on the mission, aiding them as they analyzed the outside of the building. It seemed that his earlier idea of stealth would not work in this situation, but he couldn't find it in himself to be upset. After all he was a soldier above everything else and, if fighting was necessary, he would engage in combat without hesitation.
As Miusa blasted the gates open he drew his glaive and stepped forward, eyes narrow as he noted the guards. It was a bit of a challenge, really, what they had to do. They couldn't really harm these people, not really, and especially not kill them. One of the last things that they needed was to start a war with the reapers and black hearts, but he had a feeling that, perhaps, it was already too late for that. When the guards approached them, Kai stepped forward, eyes narrowing, focusing on the enemy at hand and how best to incapacitate them.
He noted Aodhan disappearing into the ground, but turned his eyes to the guards that were moving to stop him... Then the Black Heart that gave chase. He felt torn, but he knew that the other man could handle himself, feeling it would be more logical to control the forces about ground let others get inside as well. As he stepped forward he offered Miusa a warm smile before he lunged forward suddenly, aiming to strike the guards with the flat of his blade or the handle, using his magic to chill the air around them substantially, making them sluggish.
"Whoever can investigate the castle, go!" he called out, even as he continued to fight, merely attempting to keep whoever was before him at bay. "I will do what I can here."

After sneaking around the perimeter of the castle for a while, Rosel wasn’t too happy to have come to the conclusion that not only would they be engaging in a frontal assault, but she’d have to keep her heels on. Pitched battle wasn’t really her thing, and doing so with her shoes in her hand, even her cute ones, wasn’t ideal.
When the two reapers came out, she hung back for a moment, letting flickers of her black lightning dance over her fingers. They were too far for a good bolt to be accurate, and she was not going to be the one leading any charge-
How fortuitous then, that the knights did it for her. The blue eyed knight rushed forward to engage one reaper, and Aodhan disappeared into a hole, leading the other one away. Decisions, decisions.
Waltzing through the front door would lead right into the big frontal assault she didn’t want to be a part of, but staying out of the hole might leave Aodhan to die, saving her the trouble of killing him later. Then again, if she saved his life, he’d be all nice and honor-bound to keep her secret, maybe do her a couple favors down the road…
She had a brief thought of Remiel and his buddy system, but tossed it away. Miusa wouldn't be watching with all this commotion going on, and Rosel sure as hell wasn't going to just wait around for things to get ugly.
As she jumped into the hole, she hoped Aodhan and the red Blackheart weren’t hanging around at the bottom, or they’d get a nice upskirt view of her as she dropped in. Luckily, or unluckily, they weren’t, and Rosel had just enough time to gasp at the stench before taking off after the flash of red armor. She dashed forward on her toes, muffling the sound of her high heels on the disgusting sewer floor, but not silencing her completely. She caught a brief glance at Aodhan further up ahead, also running with that ridiculous armor. Without breaking stride, she reached back and loosed a whipping black lightning bolt at the red Blackheart. It hit the wall a moment after his threat, leaving an ugly black scorch mark.
"A little less friendly? Is that what you told those kids when you took them?" She stumbled briefly and barked a laugh. "'Sorry kids, we’re going to be a little less friendly right now and kidnap you.'" With a sharp gesture, she threw a splintering bolt right at his lower back...

Kian rolled his eyes. This was almost a farce. Little angry blackhearts and reapers, oh how frightful... He held back the urge to vomit. His eyes caught glimpse of Aodhan and Rosel going down into the sewers. Kian shrugged, hey why not?
He looked to Aero, her blind eyes unseeing, but that of course was only to fool people. She'd be useful with him. "You should come with me. I've got a plan."
Kian slipped away from the frontal assault, down into the sewer, hoping Aero was behind him. He'd need her for this. He saw Aodhan and Rosel engaged with a red blackheart. Aodhan could hold his own, Kian liked him for that, but he couldn't slip passed without Aodhan taking the man out.
"Aodhan, you'll do whatever it takes to get him out of our way..." he growled, using his power of persuasion over the knight. A wicked smile played at his lips, knowing full well Aodhan wouldn't aim to kill anyone here, his soul was too gentle, but as Kian's poisonous words engaged his mind, warping it into thinking killing this man was the only way to get out and succeed. Aodhan would either succeed, or he'd die. Either way, Kian didn't care. The man was only a pawn to the witch eater; and Kian had other business than to worry about ex-lovers.
He could feel Athir somewhere inside and that made the witch eater more than angry.

Vinteran did not like what was going on. Threatening children, keeping whatever that thing was locked up in a cage to suffer, and now demanding blood tests from the children? He was growing far more suspicious that understanding. But what could he do? He wasn't even a reaper, he was merely a trainiee; working his way towards becomin a reaper.
Suddenly a boom sounded above them. Hmm, a rescue attempt he thought. It was brave of them if not a little foolish. He followed the leader of the reapers up the stairs and blinked as he saw the knights and ars lilum poor through a hole in the wall. Well this was pleasent. If he could get one of them alone maybe he coudl explain his reservations about what had happened with the children and kidnapped witches. It might mean the end of his reaper career but something just seemed off.
A blast of cold air hit him from a knight attack a group of guard reapers. He smiled. Perfect. Cold was his natural element, while the more powerful knights powers did have effect he quickly compensated for it. Ice formed around one hand as a dagger formed in the other. He tossed the ice projectile at Kailish then ran at him with an ice covered fist. He was quick, his weasel blood giving him great flexability and movement. He only hoped he wouldn't be killed trying to get close enough to get the man's attention.

Annoyance flickered in Sibelius' eyes as his whelping brood began to bicker and gripe. "Man...I hate babysitting." he grumbled, trudging over to the bars that held the 'infected man'. "Nobody's condemned any of you. I call you stupid because you look at yourselves, those around you, and nothing else. You don't think...Hey, what if I might turn into that thing in the cage and not only endanger my loved ones, but start a chain reaction that decimates the entire town? Oh well, that doesn't matter, I hope I can get out of this grungy old castle in time for my date to pick me up and take me out to the movies."
His voice was full of bitter resentment, not specifically for the girl, but for humans..majin....all in general. "Had some stranger cornered you in the street and said, hey there little girl and little boy, let me take you into a foreboding castle and sample your blood!' I'm sure you'd have gone along peacably wouldn't you? Besides.... My nose is so keen, that I already knew who was a majin and who was a human. That is my little 'special' ability, and yes, I can smell that putrid thing you're pouring all over yourself, you in the back." He narrowed his eyes at Scentana, though he made no move to stop her.
"Free your shackles if you want, you're still not likely to get past me. Besides..." he paused his sentence when another boom was heard from above, mingled with the shouting. "It's fairly dangerous up there right now. It would be irresponsible of me to let ones such as yourselves amble stupidly into crossfires exchanged between idiot knights and my brethren."
He knelt down by man in the cage, who had resigned into silent, hacking sobs. "You okay there, pal? I know it's noisy in here, but bear with me. Want the sheet back on?"
The sobbing thing seemed to respond. "So...hungry..want...hearts....give sheet..Sheet....SHEEEET." he cried. Sib acknowledged the request, bestowing an odd act of kindness for a creature such as it was, and draped the sheet back over the bars.
A slow smile spread across Runa's lush lips as the sight of the Cerberus Knights, Ars Lilium.....oh, those poor, poor concerned, stupid people. This was a battle for the pawns, one she would observe as entertainment. Afterall, her beloved subordinates were most efficient, most obedient. How she just adored them...
Her silhouette curved in the archway of the open door to the inner sanctum, arms crossed under her bosom as if simply answering the door, rather than watching her castle be assailed. Such promising witches these days, she couldn't help but to think to herself as she watched those that opposed her precious brood. It made her blood hot to watch them get worked up, their magic spark, verbal blows fly. It was a shame they had come so early, before she could truly get anything out of the captives after she had planted the seed of fear. That infection which has no cure, turns you into a monster hungry for hearts... spread mysteriously by majin who feed from you, against your will or not.
It was all...complete lunacy. Rubbish. A ploy. Of course it wasn't true that you could become infected by a majin, but planting the seed of this lie would cause people to distance themselves from majins, fear them, isolate them so that they could be better...monitored. It was, after all, for their good. Such creatures as majin did not belong here, and this was fo the greater good, regardless of the lies that had to be told, or lives mutilated or lost. [[ Just fyi, your character should not know this fact nor suspect it, this is simply just so you as the player can know and adjust/adapt! SCHEMES.)
A flash of pale hair disturbed her from her thoughts, and for a moment, Runa's world froze as she saw a face so familiar, so longing..as she laid eyes upon Miusa. Many emotions swirled within her breast. Love. Yearning. Joy. Hate. Bitterness. Revenge. Betrayal.... Of course, it had to be this way, and she was foolish to never have thought it might be. If Runa was alive after all this time, her heart mutilated by the infiltration of the majin seed from that ritual so many hundreds of years ago, of course Miusa would still be alive. The one who betrayed her to her death, willingly sacrificed her so that these hideous abominations...majins..could be birthed into their world....of course she would not simply die.
She smiled coldly, hidden by the light behind her, most of her image cast in shadow as she simply observed, her fingers twitching oddly, as if yearning to grasp a blade, or a throat.
Miusa turned her gaze as the blackhearts and reapers began to pour out of Poena Privus. "Aodhan, control your anger--!" her words came too late as she watched him rush into the fray of battle, disappearing below, followed by Cruor. Being underground against fire...would he be okay? Surely, he knew what he was getting himself into when he accepted this task.
She seemed puzzled when she realized Kailash had smiled, but slowly returned it. It did seem that lately, the knights didn't get as much action as they'd like. She shuddered violently as he released the frost into the air, detesting the cold herself. "Gods, that is disturbingly cold, I'm out of here." Before she could turn tail and find something to help get inside, a strange sight was beheld, as a..what was this? Not a reaper, not a blackheart...just..a mononoke witch boy, attacking the knight she was standing near moments ago.
The two-headed cerberus fizzled and spat, its body disappearing so that only two heads remained, one swirling behind the boy, the other to the side, attempting to knock him off balance as Miusa stepped between him and Kailash, a grim look on her face that permeated the aura of "Detention." Whether he hit her or not, she could tough it out, but her teacherly/motherly rage was at its peak.
"What..." she began, her voice low, amber eyes akin to those of an angry, predatorial cat. "....Do you imagine you are doing, child?" She chewed on the words like a hungry wolf on a bone. The kid was probably a trainee.... but earning extra credit this way was surely not the way to go.

Her ears were flat against her skull, tail lashing as she tried to find some balance to her thoughts. But with the interruption of their 'chat' upstairs by the sudden appearance - or forceful break in - of some not so happy folks and Shaden wasn't having any chance of figuring out how she felt about everything. All she was able to do at this time was her job: protect Poena Privus.
The Mononoke Reaper twirled around and knocked yet another intruder to the floor with her scythe. A stunning blow. Injuring fataly was not her intention. She just wanted them all gone! Ducking a wild fist thrown her way, Shaden back-flipped and landed in a crouch, eyes flashing dangerously. One ear perked up ever so slightly hearing Cruor's voice nearby. She wanted to talk to the Blackheart. Find out just what was going through his mind. Unfortunately, now was so not the time for that. And she really didn't want to chat with him while at the Castle.
Where was Sibelius when she needed someone to hit? Oh right. He was guarding the kids. She couldn't help the low growl that rumbled from her chest. If that Blackheart laid one hand on Athir...! She swung the flat end of her scythe to smack some idiot in the back of the head, making them stumble and fall. And then she found Cruor.
"Tell me right now, dragon, that those kids are safe with him." She hissed quietly at his back, taking up a stance to protect his back while she had a quick 'chat'. And yes, she was still pissed at Sibelius. Her eyes narrowed at those that came close, shadows dancing oddly about herself and Cruor as Shaden called on her magic.
-----------
Perhaps he really should have stuck with the buddy system. Having the lovely Rosel by his side was most enchanting at the very least. And the young man...Kian. Oh Remiel planned on finding that boy again after all this. There was too much potential in the boy to pass up such a splendid opportunity. Oh Sariel would adore the young man! As would he, of course!
Sighing, the witch eater let those thoughts slide to the back of his mind. There were other things to focus on now. Like the delectable Reaper in front of him trying to put up such a valiant effort against those assaulting Poena Privus. Remiel grinned widely, slightly pointy teeth showing before he descended on Reaper. There was a few quick movements from his hands followed by a kiss to their brow before the Reaper collapsed to the ground unconscious.
Remiel slipped through the shadows, avoiding most of the fighting and taking out a few here and there. His movements brought him to the individual he'd been working towards. "My dear, sweet, white lily." He murmured from just behind Miusa. "Why waste your breath on such a fool as this child? He is merely an obstacle in the way of what you seek." His mismatched eyes flashed almost hungrily towards Vinteran.
"Or if you like, I can...take care of the boy for you~" He added in a low, deep voice, body tingling. He was a very old creature with a nasty side. And wouldn't this be the perfect place for him to let some of that...darker half to his nature out?
His grin was not a nice thing. Nor did he move an inch from Miusa's side.

Aodhan felt rage bubble within him. This blackheart was in his way, and those who had come with him to rescue the witches and witchlings were caught behind them. He couldn't allow this to continue. He had to get them through. The words Kian said filtered into his mind, rearranging the synapses and wills of his own, but he felt as if they were there all along.
Then there was a female reaper yet Kian's power didn't stretch to her. If she fought Aodhan, the magical binding across Aodhan's mind would leave him completely open to her and he'd perish easily at her hands, yet the blonde's mind wasn't that quick, with this haze controlling him. Only would Kian know this drawback, should that misfortune occur.
"I'll do whatever it takes, to rid you..." he said, almost like he was in a dream. His body bent completely to Kian's will, as it always had in the past, and if he lived, as it probably would in the future.
He watched the lighting flicker from the girl who had arrived with Kian. She was quite pretty, with her dark skin and high end fashion. Blue eyes turned and locked on that red blackheart, but the reaper was speaking to him. This was a chance Aodhan had at clarity.
He pulled at the ground, using his gravitation magic to move the earth in ways he wanted. He made a path. with high walls for the others to get by the blackheart, and for him to not be able to reach them unless he smashed through.
"I'd suggest you all go now..." Aodhan said, his voice still eerily distant.
Kian's power had taken hold completely over his body and mind. He smiled wickedly at the blackheart, his hands tingling for a bloody fight.

Unlike the majority of his peers, Athir didn't show any signs of struggle. There really wasn't much point to. He clearly couldn't overpower the reaper that now kept guard over them. What to believe... all this talk.. of keeping him and the others here 'protected'. From some lady he didn't even know... This was all just confusing, and frustrating, as the tension in the cage ramped up, plenty of students and witches alike lashing out. Remaining in his curled up state, back against the barring, eyes half-lidded staring at the cold ground, his gloved fingers idly played with the binding along his legs... at least he didn't have to wear these anymore. He kept quiet, to himself, that is until the loud commotion upstairs made his sullen eyes dart up quite suddenly. Head tipping as well, he gazed at the ceiling in shock. What... was going on? It sounded like a struggle was going down! Gray eyes darted to Sibelius... though the guy seemed calm.. even if a little bit. Who could be attacking the place at this time? Were they really in danger? his hands clutched together, the weakened magic very noticeable to the promising witch, feeling rather vulnerable--more than usual-- without them. Maybe they'd allow him his powers back if he told of his healing ability's. It was his forte after all. Then he could at least see what was going on... Was Shaden ok? Though his sister-like figure was acting rather.. distant from him since his arrival, he couldn't think any less of her... and thus couldn't help but to worry.
The entrance wasn't one that the levianthan Lilum Ars would have liked to have done but... it was one way of getting into the grand estate! Once the knights and other Lilum Ars poured in, his hands had already flexed at his sides, beautiful, silky pale blue hair dancing lightly around him as water began to suddenly coil around his hands. Long tail swayed back and forth in a pensive state, brilliant eyes darting about to those who were now his opponents. He kept beside Miusa for a short while, before another gentleman took over such a roll. All his comrade's were dashing this way and that, magic lashing around swiftly. It'd been awhile since he'd been in such a heated battle! Since things seemed to be.. 'under control' on the above ground, he gave a final glance to Kailash before following after Kian , and Aodhan. The guy looked like he could handle all this anyway. And with the amount of kids who'd been snatched up, it would probably require a good deal of hands to help in getting them back! especially if some where injured.... or worse...

Though anger still bristled down her spine, Aeronwen had followed Kian. Her curiousity has compelled her feet before her mind quite knew what she was doing. Her arms clutched her doll as she followed him. He spoke and she raised an eyebrow. "Oh? And what plan might this be? Seems to me it would be helpful to know what it is you want of me," she murmured.
Her nose wrinkled from the smell in the sewer. She slipped along behind the older witch eater, intrigued by the way he handled the blonde Knight. Even more interesting was the way the Knight reacted to Kian.

Cassiel had followed the others to Poena Privus and was instantly struck by the sense of death. No matter where he looked he could see ancient spirits of those who once lived in the castle. It sent shivers down his spine, the mount of death left behind. But he had to push on!
In they went and Cassiel watched as others began to battle. Only then did he realize; s**t just got real. Having lived alone for so long the man never really had the option to spar and practice his battle techniques. It was going to be a miracle if he got out of there alive. Hesitantly the exorcisma went forward and prepared himself for battle, clutching his staff protectively. The look on his face showed just how scared he was of the situation, how out of his element he was. But still, he pushed forward.
When Aodhan created a safe passageway and told them to go, he did. Cassiel rushed forward in the heat of courage, charging through the make shift tunnel. However, every tunnel had two ends and as Cassiel came to the exit he was faced with a novice reaper. The woman seemed perplexed to see him, surely she never seen an exorcisma before. But her shocked expression soon turned to pain as the male summed the spiritual energy around him, blasting her backwards. "If you stay down, I won't have to hurt you..." He wanted to plead with her to just stay down and let him pass, but that wasn't an option in her eyes. Another powerful blast crashed her into the wall, stunning her just long enough for Cassiel to run past.
He had no time to look back and see if she followed. Hopefully she would take his advice and stay down- or someone else would do what he couldn't do. Kill.
Coming to the end of Aodhan's passageway, Cassiel came to a stop. He quickly looked left then right, unsure of which way to take. His golden eyes narrowed slightly as he tried to concentrate and find the spirits of the kidnapped children. The biggest problem he faced was all the spirits of the dead lingering behind, distorting his perceptions. He had no idea which way to go...
