Journal 1, We live here on earth as humans. To us, to ourselves we are nothing special. We are nothing important. Maybe to some other species we are, but either way, we must go on about our ordinary lives. Deal with our ordinary experiences and just live life.
P.S. I met someone today. Someone... Someone not so ordinary.

Journal, Well today is the start of another day... No School.. but sadly work. My brain is so fried from that test yesterday but i only have to pull a 4 hour shift and after that I'm all free. Maybe I'll go downtown and window shop... or go down to the river and read. Now that does sound relaxing. Either way i'll let you know what pops up.. Oh crap! I'm late.. Talk to you soon heart heart

West woke up to a dark room. Sunlight peeked through the curtains just enough to shine into his sleep swollen eyes. He rolled over in his bed away from the light and towards his clock. There the time stared at him dead in the face. He slightly peeked through his eye lids seeing the time. "Well damn then," he said before reluctantly getting up, and eventually out of the bed. He made his way to the bathroom to get ready for yet another ordinary day.

LIllian ran inside the bathroom taking a short shower and throwing her clothes on. She quickly grabbed her back and keyes and headed out the door, locking it behind her whispering "Shoot," She quickly pulls her key out of the lock and takes off down the stairs.

The bathroom door opened and West walked out, fresh and dressed. He picked up his canvases and back pack and made his way to the door. He took a quick look back scanning the room for anything left. He assured himself that everything was accounted for. As he stepped out he saw the back end of a girl going into the stairwell. He thought it was a bit odd, especially with the elevator right near the room. He locked his door and continued his way outside.

Lillian charged down the stairs almost tripping over her feet. Belatedly wondering why she even took the stairs in the first place when she'd just passed the elevator. Silently cursing the elevator and the stairs, she clutched her purse tighter as she got down the last few steps prepared to sprint to the doorway and out onto the street.

Bags and supplies in hand West was on his way to the ferry. It was Saturday and he often went across the river on weekends to sell his artwork. It wasn't alot that he would receive, but it was at least good spending cash. He walked along with the crowds of people walking the streets. It wasn't a far walk, but enough to enjoy the surroundings. Luckily as he was approaching the docks the ferry was approaching as well.

Lillian burst out of the doorway at a full sprint, trying to make her ferry. "Oh please, oh please hold the ferry," she repeated over and over to herself as she hurriedly made her way through her side of town. She made it there just in time, Catching the ferry as it was about to cast off from shore.

West saw the lady running towards the ferry just as he stepped on. He told the driver to wait just long enough for her to get on. As she boarded he gave her a look over. She was gorgeous, a work of natural art. The man who had her heart must be the proudest man on earth. Oh what he would do if he had a girl like that. He caught himself staring and quickly looked away. He didn't say anything, he just sat on the boat quietly as it took off down the river.

Bent over and panting after running so far, her long brown hair falling into her eyes, she feels someone watching her. Taking a deep breath and standing upright she looks over and sees a man quickly look away. She quirks one eyebrow and thinks maybe she imagined his eyes on her. Too bad, she thinks, he's kind of good looking. She shakes her head and smiles to herself. Taking a deep breath she walks over to the railing, her skin feeling cooled by the morning breeze. She looks over at the man sitting quietly watching the river and contemplates walking over to him "Oh what the hell," At the very least he'll be someone to talk to for a few minutes. Deciding to take a chance she walks over to him "Excuse me, is this seat taken?"

Quickly his gaze shot back to the girl after being spoken to. He almost froze from nervousness. It was early and the boat was empty, but this was a perfect moment. He quickly thought of a line, hoping to get a laugh. "Actually the seat is taken. I was saving it for someone, after all, the boat is pretty crowded today." He made gestures pointing around the boat as if there were people all over.
