The village gate is located in narrow mouth of the mountain range. It is a rather impressive and decorative display, while still maintaining an effective military practicality. Military presence is constant and verification can be a long an arduous process, but they have always kept social balance and stability, so no one complains.

Taiyou had calmed himself somewhat by the time he reached the gates. The large gaping maw of the mountain pass barely caught his notice. He had not seen them that often, but he rarely cared for such things, even less in the present situation. As he approached the gate, the standing guards took notice of him. It was not uncommon for young ninja to exit the village, be it for training or just youngun's doing what they do, so that didn't catch their attention much. What did were the flowers, or more specifically, that someone who looked like Taiyou was carrying flowers. The sharp, cold scowl that he wore didn't quite match. He could hear their attempts at stifling their laughter, which only helped to bring back his poor mood. He only got a few steps past the gate before he stopped, turning around and facing the guards. "Got a map?" he asked coldly, trying his best not to stuff the flowers in their mouth. One of them complied, pulling out a map and just handing it to him. Him just happening to have a spare didn't seem as likely as him just handing it over because he couldn't manage to speak through the suppressed giggling. Taiyou snatched it and turned away again, continuing is march away from the village.

Rei arrived at the village gate in a hurry. He was sure Kori was right behind him. As he arrived, he looked around for their Jounin. The Kage said that he was waiting on them here, so Rei swiveled his head from side to side to try to find the tall man within the crowd. The village gate is pretty busy as normal. Between the traders, and traveling citizens, the gatekeepers don't really get a break. Traders are especially important to Kumo, as they are the prime source of new merchandise and info for the merchants around town. Rei dashed towards the center of the entrance, and waited for Kori.

 ❋Kori Shirayuki ❋
A cold breeze just rolled in..... Kori followed after Rei, keeping up with him out of the Kage's office. She weaved her way through the crowd at the gate, slipping gracefully in between passerby like it was a dance. She noticed the boy was really excited for this mission if he was hurrying along like this. She followed his current path and noticed their jounin up ahead, leaning on the gate and talking with one of the guards. "Hey, there's our sensei." She jumped up from the crowd and waved a hand in the direction of the man to get his attention as they ran up.
.....oh wait, that was just my breath.

Sid looked up at the hand flicking up towards him, finding his genin running towards him. Only two? He wondered where the others went. The guard he was speaking to leaned in and explained about the third of his troop. Sid laughed aloud as the two stopped in front of him. He turned to them with a wide smile on his face, still pretty mirthful from the information on Taiyou. "Well my two young genin! It seems its just going us three for this mission. We're heading out first to the Valley of Clouds and Lighting first to find a healer named Yuna. She's a nice gal from what I hear and quite the looker. We have to find her house first though. Its supposed to be in the walls of one of the mountains." He paused and thought about that for a moment. "Neither of you are sensor types huh? This might be more of a pain than I thought....."

Rei nodded in agknowledgement towards Kori. As soon as she pointed him out, Rei headed towards their Jounin. Sid was tall, making it slightly easier for them to see him. As he approached him, Rei gave Sid a slight bow in recognition and relaxed. After given the mission outline, Rei gave an embarassed smirk. "No sir. Thats actually my downside. I pretty much just have the basic sensory jutsu, along with the basic Gen, so I definitely couldn't say that sensory is my forte." Rei responded while rubbing the back of his neck. Once again, Rei was faced with his own weaknesses. He had been running into this problem more often lately. He was already starting to get aggrevated at himself for seeming so weak. But these thoughts didn't hurt Rei, but actually gave him something to look forward to. If he didn't train himself into the ground, his family would anyways. He had adopted his family's messed up version of training. Instead of stopping when you can't go on, they taught him to train until his body told him to stop, aka usually blacking out or collapsing. At this memory, Rei gave a small chuckle to himself. He would get stronger, this was a fact. He was going to show Sid and Kori just what he was made of. Sure he was a demon host, but beside that, he was Rei Yoshitsune: Ninja of the Land of Clouds. Inspiration filled Rei's eyes. Looking outside, it would seem that Rei was staring off into the distance, with eyes full of bliss. He had these moments very rarely, but while looking back at them, even Rei himself found them to be hillariously rediculous. But at the current moment, Rei couldn't pull himself out of his blissful ignorance, as his ideas had gone straight to his head.

 ❋Kori Shirayuki ❋
A cold breeze just rolled in..... Kori raised an eyebrow as Sid explained their mission. A few words struck out at her about it. First? Sounds like there's more than just finding this woman to this mission. She gave a nod of acknowledgement as he paused. "I don't have any sensor jutsu, though I have some ideas for some to train. Do you have any sensor jutsu, sensei?" She had some great and wonderful ideas for jutsu she wanted to train. A few were some things that she wasn't sure she could do yet, but one she was sure she could learn pretty easily. Though in this situation she was sure it wouldn't help them.
.....oh wait, that was just my breath.

Sid shrugged and turned around and headed away from the village gates. "It's alright you two, I do have some sensory jutsu I can use to help us along. Let's head out to this Valley and get this show on the road, y'know? I hate clicking coins together waiting around forever for everyone to get ready so let's get to it!" If anyone looked at the three, they would have suggested that the older man looked more excited to be on the mission than the two young genin following after him. ((Post in the Mountain Range))

Script arrived at the village gate and stopped and thought to himself, 'This is pretty exciting, I do wish I had my team going with me though. Oh, well. Maybe we'll be reunited after our missions are over.' Script turned and looked up at the main gate to the Hidden Cloud Village, smiled and turned towards the road. "Let's get to it." He clutched the scroll that the Raikage gave him in his hand, making sure he had not left it in his house. Zipped it into his biggest pouch and started down the road, leaving the village gate to shrink in the distance. ((To Mountain Range))

Her hands were behind her head and she was relaxing before they went. It had been a really quick trip to her house to replenish her equipment and get some fast food in her belly. She wondered if there was some time to do training on the way, she really, really needed to work on her taijutsu, perhaps their jounin would be willing to give her a hand with that. She looked rather competent in close combat, actually, the majority of the Cloud Ninja were very good or at least strongly competent in the close combat arts. She sometimes felt like a black sheep of the village at times, especially sense the genjutsuists were very rare among the cloud. Yuzuki closed her eyes, she intended to fully keep her word about her and her team mates all going together, she was actually surprised that Kori wasn’t there yet. She didn’t seem to have anything else that she needed to do, not having to replenish her kit or anything. Then again, she might have wanted to swing by her house and get some traveling gear. Yuzuki looked down at her sensei from her tree, she was curious about the woman and her skills, her abilities and, more importantly, what Yuzuki could squeeze out of the woman for her own benefit. Yuzuki closed her eyes and started to plan about how to best go about the mission, she wanted them to get in and out quickly and safely. Yuzuki wanted to make sure that she could look around the area and see if there was a hidden way in, if that was then it would be best to explore that a little to see if there were hints of human activity or if it was more animal activity. If it was humans, they could use their knowledge to set a trap or two to make sure they didn’t get away, or if it was an animal maybe they could capture it and sell it to the zoo or something. Yuzuki could almost feel her eyes become yen signs, if it was rare they could get a pretty nice sum of money for it. … though if it was a human there would be a lot less money to be earned. Unless you helped yourself to the minerals in the mine while nobody was looking. Tsushia was going to learn quickly that perhaps it would be a good idea to keep an eye on Yuzuki, sometimes her greed was allowed to be indulged. Thoughts: Hmm... I wonder if we could get more money if we tell the miners we are traveling bounty-hunters... Feelings: Greedy. >:3 Theme music: Zen Killer

Tsuchia's eyes had been closed and it looked like she was quietly meditating on a deep subject before Yuzuki's arrival. Her eyes flicked up to the point of the girl's final destination, following her path quickly. She noticed Yuzuki's gaze and raised an eyebrow at the girl, giving her a coy smile. "What's wrong Yuzuki? Your eyes look full of questions and inquiries longing to be answered. If you have a question about something I'm more than willing to give you some advice or guidance if you want."The woman eyes seemed to glimmer at the thought of a young pupil. It seemed this woman was full of different quirks, though her tone of voice genuinely sounded like she was invested in finding an answer for Yuzuki and help her learn.

Oh, nothing is wrong, I’m just trying to guestimate how much money we could be bringing in if there was an exotic wild animal in cave that was terrorizing the innocent. I think we should try and capture it and bring it to the zoo for studying or something. We could make a mint.” Yuzuki’s lips pulled apart ever so slightly to create almost a devious smirk. Though she pulled herself back to reality when she noticed the amused gleam in her sensei’s eyes, she rolled over on the branch to look down at Tsushia while she was looking up at her. ”Though while I have your attention, I was wondering something… you know how all ninja have an elemental affinity right? Well, is it possible to learn other elements that are outside of your own? Would someone of lightning be able to learn a water style or would someone who has a fire element be able to learn about earth styles even though they don’t have that affinity for it?” Yuzuki was more than a little curious about this sort of thing, she had puzzled over it for a while, there was some earth elemental stuff that she though could be used to great advantage when in combat, and there was some water style moves that could really turn things around in combat, she knew that Kori could use water style, but Yuzuki was curious to know if she could do it too or not. Water and fire were elemental opposites, so it would be fascinating for her to be able to study it and even try it for herself… she just didn’t want it to blow up in her face when all was said and done. If Kori and herself could team up with some water jutsu in situations where they had the advantage, they could be nigh unstoppable. Still… she wanted to pick at a mind who had more experience than her own before she attempted it. If there was no point in it then she wouldn’t bother wasting her time and chakra trying to learn it. Looking down at Tsushia again she tilted her head to the side. ”By the way, what path of the ninja are you Sensei? By your weapons and armour I would think that you were a taijutsuist, though considering we are in the cloud almost everyone has a sword style. I thought that maybe you were a genius, considering our group (and to hope that the Raikage isn’t a total nimrod) it would have a great advantage to have a genius type to teach a diverse group such as ours.”
Yuzuki was trying to get a better feeling of her jounin, she was the one who was going to teach her after all, she didn’t want to be placed in the hands of someone who is totally incompetent when it came to teaching. Besides, she was still waiting for the others, there was no harm in getting to know each other a little better, they were a team after all and it was important to get allies in wherever you could. You never know when you might have a jutsu that you’re stuck on and need a little assistance. Or if you want to learn something badly and seek out a friend of a friend who knows a shady character who will charge you a fair price for such a thing. Thoughts: With knowledge comes power... power which I plan to abuse utterly! Feelings: Curious. Theme music: Zen Killer

Yuzuki's first point earned a smirk. It seemed that this one wasn't worried of the mysterious danger at all. In fact, it sounded as though she was disregarding the details entirely and already thinking about the after. Something that she had seen before but was amused no less by it. Her next question brought light to Tsuchia's eyes again. Her last questions pertained to the first inquiry so she had her work laid out for her neatly. "Well, for starters, despite my appearance, I am a ninjutsu specialist. But at the same time, I am also well versed in taijutsu and genjutsu. If you had to put a "type" on me, it would probably fall under the genius catergory. I use two elements, one stronger than the other, though they are not opposing per say."She raised her hands up, palms up. In her right, small arcs of lightning sprang up between her fingers. In her left, a small twister began to swirl up dust. Judging from Yuzuki's interest in the subject, she figured she wouldn't bore her with affinities. She probably already knew them. " I have seen ninja who can use fire and water chakra and I have seen ninja who use all five. It mainly depends on your style and your focus. From what I've been told and from what I've seen, you mainly are a genjutsu user. You've shown signs of fire jutsu, but you use your illusions more often than your fire. I would say that, from more experienced perspective, you should focus on those two points before trying to learn something new. Fire style can be hard to control or even manage sometimes, seeing as how its one of the more taxing of the elements. I can help you if you need it. And if you don't want to listen to me, try asking Yuichi on how he controls his lightning. Since fire and lightning require your energy to get started and/or keep going, they are the most trying of elements to learn and master."Tsuchia paused and closed her hands, extinguishing both of her tricks. She laughed and placed her hands on her hips. Oh! She was going to have so much fun teaching this one! "Sorry about that. I dragged on for a bit. Did any of that make sense?"

Yuichi Shizen "Hey!!!" A loud cry echoed through the gates. running up in a light jog Yuichi had spotted his fellow team mate and captain. Running up he stopped in front of them placing his hands behind his head and leaning on his left foot. With a smile he looked between the two realizing Kori wasn't there yet. "Ha looks like i beat the grouch." he said with a big grin. He made a mental check list of his supplies again. He had picked up a few food pills and replenished his ninja tools as well as grabbed some metal wire to go with his tools. He still had no kunai with him, instead using the pouch to store supplies like the food pills. He also had some explosive tags and a few smoke and flash bombs, carefully seperated from the food pills. And most importantly a parascope. Best to be ready in case it was needed. "So what'cha talking about?" he asked curiously.

Yuzuki’s eyes narrowed in thought when both of the elements were displayed and Tsushia could probably see the wheels turning in Yuzuki’s head. Fascinating, she was really interested in all the stuff you could do with the elemental jutsu, she had more questions before she would consider herself satiated. However, she would be able to wait for a while till they got back from this mission and/or got some down time to practice such things. She pondered over what her sensei said about her own element and what sort of work she would need in order to get the hang of it, she had to admit that she did need to work on her fire styles, she only knew a few of them and they were exhausting to perform, it was hard for her to do the fire styles more than a few times before she felt like she was hit by a bus. Maybe she would ask for help a little later, heck, if she could get help with her control and her chakra pool itself she would be laughing in the end. ”Yeah, I think I got what you were saying. I think I’m going to pick your brain a little more when the opportunities arise. We’ll be talking later for sure.” Yuzuki straightened herself up and sat up against the tree again, it was about that time that Yuichi joined and made a comment about beating Kori, Yuzuki closed her eyes and a smirk crawled across her face under her mask. Well, Kori did earn that one, though she wondered if they were ever going to get along? Yuzuki looked down at Yuichi from her perch in the tree. ”Oh nothing, Tsushia-sensei and I were just plotting to take over the world, talking about ritual sacrifice and debating the meaning of life, so nothing much.” Yuzuki looked around, that was strange, she thought that Kori was ready to go and yet she wasn’t here yet. Yuzuki thought that she would have been the second one here seeing as Kori was ready, but then again maybe she had to pick something up and say good-bye to some people before she left. She heard rumours of the Shirayuki house and how strict they were. Maybe she had to petition her father or something before she went on the mission, she frowned at that thought, she hoped not… that would make even the simplest tasks of going on missions a huge pain in the a**. She looked back down at her gathered team. ”Well, I guess that she had some more things to do than she originally thought, though I don’t expect her to be that much longer. She seems the punctual type.” Thoughts: Hmm... I wonder if Kori will be much longer? Feelings: Ready to go! Theme music: Zen Killer
