The year is 2100 A.D. and virtual gaming has taken over the modern world… 2nd life is the newest mmorpg to hit the streets and unlike previous rpg's this one has 99.9% realism. the player is able to smell, taste and feel that what is in the game due to the special headsets they are required to wear to activate the game. Each player can only have one character whose facial appearance and gender match the players’ looks in the real world (unless the player is using a dwarf or beastmen for obvious reasons. A slight increase in beauty is allowed, but only up to 20%. This also goes for a slight decrease in beauty up to 20%. This game hit it's initial claim to fame in Korea but since then it has branched out into Europe, then America and finally Japan. The game is such a hit with general populace that it is hard to find someone who has not heard of it. Second life follows the basic concept of gaming...the only thing different is that you do not choose a gender. It is automatically assigned to you based on your true gender. Aka, men will be men and vice versa.
............However. However. Second life has been having some...technical difficulty [unannounced to the public so as to not raise any panic.] A virus has swept through half life, somehow managing to pull people into a coma like state and keep them in game...even once their head set has been removed. So far, five people have been put into this comatose state...and day by day the risk of more falling into a coma is increasing... We must find a way to stop this...or Second Life will be done for, and those in coma's....will be permanently trapped.

ЩЄLСѺӍЄ ҬѺ ՏЄСѺИԀ LіҒЄ! |PLEASE SPEAK TO ME IF YOU WANTED TO START AT A HIGHER LEVEL! IF YOU DON'T I EXPECT YOUR CHARACTER TO BE A NEWBIE- below level 40.|
Here we will discuss how the game works.
Let us start with Races.
Humans: Your basic race they are fairly generic they do not favor any jobs, but they do not suffer with any either. In effect they can use any job as good as any other..... though obviously player skill and stats still make a difference.
Dwarf: The Dwarven race are the same as humans they are just as strong ..... their strength is just condensed into a smaller package and due to this it is more potent . A trait of dwarves is that they have no females...technically. This is due to both male and female dwarves having beards and their habit of wearing chain-mail and armor. Dwarves favor axe type weaponry and can wear Heavy armor no matter the class.
Drow: More commonly known as the dark elves, typically they live deep underground have matriarchal societies and have been in a bitter underground war with the dwarven race. The drow typically have navy blue or obsidian skin and platinum blonde hair. The drow favor darker prestige classes that can use dark magic such as the black mage, necromancer or black guard though they also make effective archers. They can see perfectly in the dark but have poorer eyesight during daylight
light elves: Typically they have pale skin and golden blonde hair, they are rumoured to have facial/body hair and have a frail physique. Light Elves favor any magic using class aligned class.
Tiefling: Also known as demons these individuals have devilish features, sometimes have bat like wings, a tail and horns. They have sturdy bodies that make them good warriors though due to their disguise ability they are perfect for stealth based classes
Beastmen: Similar to humans these creatures are suited for any class, these are popular because unlike the other classes the character does not display the users true face. They walk on two legs like the other races they are just covered in fur and have a beast like face.
Aasimar: Also known as the angels these make the perfect choice for light magic classes such as the priest route or the paladin. They have angelic wings.
Next! Let us discuss the class system.
The fighter. The fighter is the stereotypical melee wielding nut job, they favor getting up close and personal when in combat, they tend to have trouble when facing a decent ranged opponent though. They do not need to fight with weapons; they can have gauntlets/gloves that'll class as a melee weapon.
Mage These are the typical spell wielding nut jobs, when they are not blowing up their allies (usually by accident in practice) they can often be found blowing up the enemy Typically they wield a staff but this is more of a magical focus, they tend to be frail in combat and must be protected... though a high level mage would probably be able to reign death on enemies rather easily.
Mages have different spell types here they are. Black- this is the typical black magic its spells can drain enemy health, summon undead minions and use poisoning/slow acting spells on enemies. Fire- this magic type uses fire type spells to hurt enemies, they can cause area of effect damage and has a lot of after effects e.g. choking enemies on smog. Water- this uses water based spells to cause damage to enemies, its attacks are less damage dealing than a fire mage but they effect large amounts of enemies and when combined with an electric user they make a truly terrifying combination. Electric- these attacks deal large damage but the majority of the spells they use can only be used on a single opponent. Earth- these attacks use the earth to create hard projectiles that can be used against enemies, examples could be spiky spires rising from the ground or small planet orbiting objects landing on some unlucky smug heads head. Wind- the smells themselves deal no damage, what these do is cause a lot of damage via terrain, e.g. a whirlwind wouldn't hurt, though the objects inside smashing into a character would hurt. The exception is that a few wind-based spells can be used to create a type of wind that is very fine and able to cut into an enemy. Misc- these are the spells that have no se element; they can be used to strengthen an allies stats or to use more unique spells such as magic missiles.
Priests These are the typical healers they can learn healing spells, holy spells that can be used against undead, demons and learn stat buffing/protective spells.
Thieves These are well thieves; they are naturally speedy and tend to have good dexterity. They have the ability to steal items from unlucky schmucks, they can temporarily become stealthed, their specialty in combat is to stab an enemy in the back and deal extra damage. Typically they favor concealable weapons such as wrist-mounted crossbows, knives, daggers or poison.
Bards: These are individuals who have beautiful voices and have the ability to cast spells and attack via playing music or singing. Though another side of the bard is greater information gathering, people often tell bards things and it is not uncommon for a bard to "be in the know" about what is going on.
Archers: These individuals are lethal at a distance and favor ranged weaponry such as bows or crossbows. They are pretty frail in melee combat though so they need to keep back and fire from a distance.
Secondary classes Once a characters primary class is mastered at level 40 they must pick a second class to level up as starting from level 41, this can either be a promotion of their prior class or they can take a second primary class. To promote a character must meet the criteria.
Warrior Criteria= must have mastered Fighter class at level 40 Warriors are a more lethal variation of the fighter; they have access to a greater array of weaponry and can use more advanced skills.
Sage: Criteria- must have mastered mage at level 40 with a spell list that can be of any type (cannot be a specialized spell list) A sage is one who was walked the path of magic for a long time, they can cast spells with greater strength and can cast stronger spells.
Black Mage: Criteria- Master Mage at level 40 with only black magic spells in your spell book. A Black Mage is one who has swore to dedicate their lives to solely black magic, their spells become stronger and they get the opportunity to summon even more powerful undead servants.
(Insert element name) mage Criteria- must master Mage at level 40 with only spells of a single element e.g. fire. They get more powerful/effective spells of the element type they are using.... they can use spells of other types but it is advisable not to learn them if they want to be a pure specialist in the element they are using.
Wizard Criteria- master mage at level 40 with only spells that are under the misc category. These are the legendary spell caster of old, they gain the ability to learn greater spells in their art, they can learn other spells of other elements but again if they want to reach the full promotion of this job route then it is not advisable.
Marksman Criteria- Master archer at level 40 These are those people who are dedicated towards traversing the path of the ranged combatant, their shots are more accurate and they gain the ability to use magically enchanted arrows and a few ranged spells that relate to archery.
Rogue Criteria- thief mastered at level 40 These are more experienced thieves, they have better techniques for hiding their presence, deal more damage while back stabbing and gain a charisma bonus when attempting to negotiate with npc's/players.
Harper: Criteria- Mastered Bard at level 40 More experienced bards often refer to themselves as harpers, as their name states they often use harps though this is not mandatory, they gain the ability to learn better music/singing related spells but also gain the ability to wield a sword in self defense.
Healer Criteria- monk level 40 These are priests who have trodden the path they walk for many a day, they receive a bonus when healing allies but also gain the chance to learn more powerful healing/restorative and buffing spells.
Epic level classes Once a player reaches level 80 they would of mastered the use of their secondary class, they then gain the opportunity to learn a 3rd job which will become active from level 81. From level 80 the players will not be able to level up until after they have completed a special quest where they gain the ability to choose on of the epic level classes
Lore master Criteria- mastered bard and mastered Harper These individuals have an in-depth knowledge of each area they visit, due to the trust they garner with the locals they receive large discount on purchases of any kind, they can also learn more powerful songs/music based magic and have an effect where their very presence grants its allies greater moral (an immunity to fear)
Knight Criteria- mastered fighter and mastered warrior This is the final part of the fighter job route, these individuals have the potential to be the best at melee combat (though obviously stats/level and player skill can change this) They can equip the most varied choice in melee weaponry and are very proficient with them.
Necromancer Criteria mastered mage with black magic specialization and mastered black mage with a black magic specialization. The true masters of black magic they can summon the most powerful undead servants to do their bidding and have the possibility to learn the most powerful black magic/cursing type spells.
Arch Sage Criteria-any mage route that has a varied element type spell book. While Lacking the most powerful spells of each specialization, the arch sage makes up for this by being able to cast powerful spells from each type of magic.
(Element name) Master Criteria- mastered mage and mastered element mage with a specialization on a single magical element e.g. fire. An individual who has mastered the element of their specialization, they are able to learn the most powerful spells of their corresponding element.
Great Wizard Criteria- Mastered mage and mastered wizard with a specialization on only misc type spells. The true masters of destruction, Great wizards gain the chance to learn the truly most powerful spells (not taking into account elemental resistances) but they also have the longest casting times and need to be greatly protected in order to cast their incantations uninterrupted.
Shadow master Criteria- mastered thief and mastered rogue These are truly the best thieves in the land they can hide in plain sight and gain a higher bonus to the traditional back stab attack bonus, but they also gain reductions when purchasing from a store and gain a bonus when selling items. They can pick locks in plain sight due to their hide in plain sight ability and no longer need to actually stab an enemy in the back in order to get the damage bonus.
Sniper Criteria- mastered archer and mastered marksman The most accurate ranged combatants in the land they can see a target clearly from far away and gain the ability to fire multiple arrows in a single shot and enchant arrows themselves with magical runes to give them magical abilities.
Saint Criteria- mastered priest and mastered holy man these individuals are holy incarnations. They deal extra damage when fighting demons/undead and can heal an individual of fatal wounds (though they only have one turn to do this otherwise the player respawns.)
Black guard Criteria- Mastered fighter (or mastered archer) and mastered mage with a black magic specialization Warriors of darkness these fighters have fearsome melee combat abilities but also gain the ability to cast black magic/curses/summon undead allies while in combat. They can also use the fearsome darkness attack where they use their own health to damage an opponent. In the case of archer being the mastered class the player gains the ability to use their sniping abilities to cast spells guided by their arrows
[Single element name] warrior [e.g. Water warrior] Criteria- mastered fighter (or archer) and mastered mage (with a single element specialization) This is a warrior with strong melee capabilities but they also gain the ability to cast spells in combat, in the case of archer being the mastered class the player gains the ability to use their sniping abilities to cast spells guided by their arrows.
Paladin Criteria- mastered fighter (or archer) and mastered priest Warriors of virtue, these individuals strive to protect their allies on the battlefield by acting the role of fighter and healer, they may not be as physically strong as a dedicated fighter but they gain the ability to use their priest spells and the regeneration ability. They also gain the counterattack special ability, which gives them a higher chance of countering enemy attacks.
Ranger Criteria- mastered fighter and mastered archer These individuals are capable of both fighting with a bow and with a sword at a great deal of skill, due to their high dexterity they gain the ambidexterity special skill which allows them to fight with a weapon in each hand. They also gain bonuses when tracking enemies and when laying traps using the surrounding landscape.
Sorcerer Criteria- mastered priest and mastered mage (specialization not required) These individuals gain he ability to use both healing magic and the mage spells that they have learned, they gain the ability to silently cast spells (they still have to type in italics what the spell is though to represent them thinking it. They lack the more powerful spells of the dedicated mage/ priest classes but they also gain a halved casting time for the spells.
Assassin Criteria- mastered fighter and mastered rogue These individuals are stealthy warriors, they pride them selves on their ability to kill undetected, because of this they gain the concealed weapons special rule where the weapons they hold are hidden to such an extent that they cannot be found.... until it is sticking out of your chest. They gain the ability to use specialist items of equipment that give them a larger variety of ways to kill.

Accepted Players My name in real life is~ Akira KanameBut online i am know as~ ZeroI am ~ twenty-one ~ Years oldOnline my character is a ~Light elf and my class is a Harper~Based on what people say...i suppose i am ~ I'ma very calm and collected person, which is likely why i was selected to be on the team to create Second life. Yes, aside from the fact that i am indeed a GM, i am also one of the creators of the game... Anyways, i have always been very intellectual, but in game i tend to let myself go a bit more. I'm not particularly friendly, and i dont usually join parties, so i like to work solo. I'm very quiet, but i will speak up with i decide that i should put my own input into the situation. Ever since i was a child i was more of the isolated type, and people usually left me alone. Still i don't generally get into fights with anyone, and i don't generally care about those who want to pick a fight with me. My life....in a nut shell~ I was born and raised in a fairly standard family, my parents weren't wealthy, and they worked rather average jobs. Growing up i was usually very isolated, but in time i came to realize not only did i not interact with the other kids, i also had a thought process on a whole other level. By the time i was at the age of five, my mind had developed to that of a ten year old and i was already working on schooling that i shouldn't have been able to understand. At the age of thirteen i was already doing my high school level schooling, and at the age of sixteen i had finished my university schooling and earned a degree in engineering and programming. Akira was soon known around the world as a child prodigy, or in another term, a genius. By the age of eighteen he was being scouted by many companies and that was when the developers of Second life recruited the young male. By the age of Twenty the company had successfully developed the game and it's software, and by the age of twenty one it was finally launched. But something they hadn't expected to happen, happened. A virus seemed to infiltrate and somehow it gained the ability of artificial intelligence....the ability to think like a human being. Akira was the first one sent in to try and find, and destroy the bug, and he was also the first to fall victim to the virus, and fall into a deep comatose state. This is what i look like. My name in real life is~Nana KuroBut online i am know as~hopeI am ~ seventeen ~ Years oldOnline my character is a ~Tiefling & Mage~Based on what people say...i suppose i am ~ Quiet, Honest, Reserved, Unsocial, Bright, Intelligent, AdaptableMy life....in a nut shell~Nana's parents have always been worried about her and the weak immune system she was born with, they worried about her so much that they home schooled her and sheltered her. She had not really known the 'real' world, she can only see it through her window, she's always felt trapped in her home but her parents got her a new video game called 2nd Life, at first she was reluctant to play it but little by little the game began to grow on her and her worries melted away. But her parents destroyed the game on accident, or at least she thought for the game wouldn't respond. Yet after a couple days the maching starting working with only one flaw, she was a newbie again and though it frustrated her greatly, Nana began her adventure once more. This is what i look like. Our name's in real life are~ Souko Takuya and Aya Rune. But online we are know as~ The Cheshire, or Chesh and Nayamike Alice, or Alice. We are ~ Twenty-two and Nine-teen ~ Years old Online our character are both ~ Tiefling's and Thief's. ~ Based on what people say...We suppose we are~ Souko is more of the calm reserved types. He is confident in what he does and never feels nervous in any situation. One of the reasons hes such a high leveled thief. He is always known to have that calm, yet cocky smirk across his lips, which lead to the nick name 'Cheshire' as well. He's usually quiet in a crowd, which he is rarely ever in. Though is he is, and he feels the strong need, he will include his opinion on the matter but no more. Though he is stealthy, quiet and patient in what he does, he also has that right amount of spunk and perk to him. He can be rather mischievous when wanted, and is very cunning as well. Always the best at what he does, and always gets his way. Though he rare opens himself up really, only to Aya whom he had known for a long time. He may flirt or trick you, but its all fun and play. Unlike the dear Aya whom is all game. In the game, she is known as the wild one. She has spunk to no end and does nothing but cause trouble and make sure she gets what she wants. She loves to make mischief and problems for others with Souko. She is always out to play, fun and games is her middle name so to say. A large ball of energy, wit and an undying smug attitude. Though, out of the virtual world, the card is flipped. Ever since she was young, Aya has been known to be one of the most skiddish females one could meet. She is easily flustered and very small in size. She is also usually very timid in all situations and rather humble, nervous at the most. My life....in a nut shell~ Souko grew up with mainly his remotely wealthy uncle. His mother died when he was born, leaving him in the care of his father till the age of nine when his father passed away due to lung cancer. It was then when he was taken into the care of his uncle. His uncle had always been well off, but never enough to be considered 'rich; just enough to get by comfortably and then some. Souko had always been the way he was, just a little less mischievous in the games, yet just as much wit and intelligence. Ever since he was young, he was known to be rather intelligent compared to others. Above standards, yet never outstanding compared to some. Just an average child would be seen to most. Nothing special particular forming in his life till the worlds hottest new game came out. Second life. It was then did he meet Aya. They were both newbies, the lowest of the lows and had no one on there backs. They then decided to team up and use there intelligence to rise them to the top. They were then known as one of the games most well known thieves and rouges. Since then, they never stuck around anyone else and reserved themselves from any other player contact unless it was to make a kill. Aya living a rather similar life, though her mother and father stayed intact, till she was finally the age of fourteen when her father broke ties with her mother in a divorce. Since then, she lived with her father and enjoying it. Seeing as how him and Souko were the only ones she felt comfortable around. Simulated or not. <----- This is what we look like. -----> My name in real life is~ Kisan WaldorfBut online i am know as~ ILBI am ~ Eighteen ~ Years oldOnline my character is a ~Light Elf and a Sniper~Based on what people say...i suppose i am ~ Very stubborn, Sweet, Caring, Easily embarrassed, Innocent, Not afraid to speak my mind, and Cunning. My life....in a nut shell~ When Kisan was born, he was born with CIP meaning that he doesn’t feel physical pain and in return doesn’t know how to act to it. He lived a pretty normal life except for the fact that people always had to pay a bit more attention to him to make sure he didn’t get hurt since he wouldn’t realize it himself. He hated it and didn’t like how overprotective his parents were. The only times he got to just do whatever was when he was with his brother, Aiden. Aiden was always the troublemaker and the one with the scraped knees while Kisan was forced to sit to the side and not engage in any physical activities. But when he was just with Aiden, Aiden would give him some freedom and trusted the other to be careful himself. The other thing with Kisan is that he’s homosexual and got picked on quite a bit at school which resulted in Aiden getting in many fights as he stood up for his brother. Kisan was in school until tenth grade, when his parents decided to just homeschool him. Of course, he was not thrilled about this one bit but his parents tried to make it up to him by buying him the game Second Life. Now, Kisan is eighteen and has been stuck in the game for a year and in a coma in real life. A couple of things: one) don’t ask Kisan what his online name means. His brother put it in before he could change it as a joke and Kisan will get irritated with his brother and blush like crazy when you ask what it means. two) his brother also pulled another joke on him and made a glitch happen so that Kisan’s character in the game doesn’t look any different than how he looks in real life. This is what i look like. My name in real life is~ Aiden WaldorfBut online i am know as~ MischiefI am ~ Twenty ~ Years oldOnline my character is a ~Tiefling and a Mage~Based on what people say...i suppose i am ~ Rebellious, Outgoing, Caring, Protective, a Troublemaker, Smart, and Nice to those that deserve it.My life....in a nut shell~ Well you already know part of it. Aiden’s childhood was pretty normal except that he had Kisan as a little brother. He had nothing against Kisan though and he’s really close to him. Aiden’s parents always paid more attention to Kisan, but he didn’t mind. It meant that he was able to sneak away and do what he wanted~ When Aiden was little, he was a troublemaker and was always getting into fights. People just couldn’t learn to shut their mouths though and he only get in fights with people who deserved it. Now that he’s older, he’s not so much of a little brat but he’s still rebellious at times. Aiden does have a tendency to tease people, but if you want him to shut up then tell him and he will. He’s also very caring though and smart which most people seem surprised about. Aiden needs his daily smokes and likes to drink, but he knows when to stop. He’s given up drinking for the time being though as his brother going into a coma took a huge blow to him. He’s never been one for Second Life and doesn’t get why everyone likes it. He started playing though to search for his brother and to try to find a way to bring the other home. This is what i look like.

Logged in:xxxxxAkira Kaname.... xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxPlayer name........Zero. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxWelcome back to Second Life.... ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ The sweet melody of a harp drifted through the town square of the capital of Second life, Infinite City. The source? A male elven harpist who sat on the grand water fountain in the center of the square, surrounded by a fair amount of people. Online he was known as Zero, offline...his identity was unknown to most, only a select few, his co-workers, were aware of the males true identity and...his current status in the real world. He was obviously a light elf, which anyone could tell thanks to his golden blonde locks and pointed ears. His thin frame and pale skin were also a sure indication of his species, but he was of a higher level than most of the other players in this game.. Second life was not an easy leveling system, but it was interesting since the game was just like real life...you could feel pain, experience flavors and all sorts of other things...the only difference was that when you died, you had another chance to live and try again. Zero was not know by many players, strictly because he kept his name to himself unless he found someone interesting, which was generally quite rare. Soon the some came to and end, and people clapped, simply enjoying the harpists music. No one ever approached him though, perhaps that was because he was one of the more...beautiful players in this world, someone who perhaps enhanced his characters beauty a bit, but in the real world he had to be attractive as well. Second life only allowed you to make yourself a little bit prettier or uglier, this way not everyone could be beautiful. Second life was a place where...frankly you were supposed to be yourself, but here you were free to do so much more than you ever could in the real world.
Icy blue eyes scanned the crowd of people, no one he knew.... Just another day to be spent inside this game. For nearly two months now he had been stuck in the game, not as in addicted, but quite literally stuck. He had been informed that in the real world his body had fallen into a coma, but somehow his consciousness had remained within the world of Second life. He knew how, A virus.... something that somehow penetrated the system and silently picked off it's victims one at a time...He had been the first. He had been sent in to dispose of the virus, but it seems the virus had caught him and now he had to spend his time in this virtual world, seeking out the virus so he could perhaps find a way to reverse the effects.
To top things off he was also one of the creators of this world, not that anyone in the game knew that. And so he had become a secret Gm, or Game master. There was a hint on the web site for Second life that he was the gm, however it was basically impossible to crack. Why? Because over time they would make it a little more noticeable, but for now they wanted it to remain a secret so that the bonus item for finding him didn't create any problems...that and they hadn't finished it's design yet. It probably wouldn't be finished for a long time either, right now the top priority was to find the virus and bring who ever has fallen into a coma, out of it.
After a stretch of silence Zero began to play another gentle melody, letting it fill the square once again. People were slowly growing used to the Harpists presence, since he was ofter here in the square playing his harp. Why? Basically, he had nothing else to do with his time. He wasn't part of a guild or a party, nor did he really talk to anyone in the game...therefore he was simply another player just wasting time in the eyes of others. He did go out and level up though, which was why his level was fairly high. It was rare to see a harpist at such a high level considering the game had only been running for about half a year now, but here he was, probably the highest level harpist in second life at the moment. ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ERROR: We are unable to process your request::'Log out'-Please try again later.

≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎A petite, blonde haired male walked into the town square of Infinite City. He made his way past people who seemed to be gathered to listen to the tune of a harp being played. It was a beautiful sound and the male could tell just from the sweet melody that it must be a Harpist playing it. It was rare to see Harpist in Second Life, or at least he thought so as he hadn’t found too many of them in the almost two months that he had been trapped in this place. And that’s exactly why he was here in Infinite City at the moment. The male’s online name was ILB, but since he disliked the name that his older brother had chosen for him, he decided to go by his real name, Kisan. Why not? His true identity was already being exposed even though nobody knew that since Kisan choose not to share that information with people. Even though, this male’s appearance remained the same as he entered the game, he still had some of the desired appearances of a Light Elf which was his race in this virtual game. He had the golden blond locks, the delicate frame, and the ivory skin. The one thing he lacked was the pointy ears though thanks to the glitch that his brother had caused. Most people guessed that his race was Human when they saw him, but if you’d look at his stats you’d see that no, he was a Light Elf and also a Sniper.
Most people were surprise to find out that he was a Sniper as being one of those was also rare. To be at such a high level with the game only being on the market for six months, you’d have to play constantly. Which Kisan did…but not to his liking. He was stuck in this game and had been for a little while now. He had little else to do except wander the lands of Second Life and to level up. He had gotten better and better and now he was able to shoot his arrows with such accuracy and talent that it was a sight to see. But he was also starting to lose his levels slowing as he was starting to get really sick of this game. Well not the game exactly, just the fact that he was stuck here. He missed his family dearly, especially Aiden. He even missed his overprotective lifestyle that he had to live! He just wanted reality once again. That’s why he was here in the Town Square. He had heard a rumor that there was a gm here. He had been looking for a gm for a while now, but every lead that he had gotten had brought him to a dead end. He was tempted to give up, but knew he couldn’t. He wasn’t sure what had happened but something had caused him to get stuck in this game. He had so many questions: What had happened? Was he dead in real life? Would he ever be able to get back? The gm had to have some of the answers, right? If he could find the gm, he could maybe find out why the game wasn’t letting him log out.
He let out a soft sigh as he glanced around the area with his golden orange orbs, not sure what he was suppose to look for though. He couldn’t just go up to people and start asking them if they were the gm and he had no idea what the gm was suppose to look like. If he could get back to real life, he could look online to see if there were any hints as to who the gm could be, but if he was able to do that then there really was no point, was there? He bit his lower peached colored lip and decided to just keep watching and to maybe see if someone seemed different at all. It wasn’t a great plan but at least it was a plan. Kisan wasn’t one to usually visit the Town Square, usually being one that liked to watch things from afar like his class was known for. So he had a couple of characters glance at him as he was new, but he simply ignored them. He made his way through the small crowd a bit as he glanced to see who was playing the harp. He figured he’d stay here a bit and listened to the melody as he kept watch for anything that would give him a hint. He smiled softly when he saw that the male playing the harp was another Light Elf. He didn’t look exactly like his own race, but Kisan was always happy to see other Light Elves. The male was gorgeous and Kisan wondered briefly if the other had his looks intensified a bit. He pulled himself away from those thoughts though and turned his gaze to glance around at the other stand byers. He needed to try to find the gm, not gaze at males he found himself attracted to. He was clueless to the fact that gm was ‘sitting right under his nose’…didn’t that always happen though?≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎Online Name: ILB --- Logged in as: Kisan Waldorf --- Race: Light Elf --- Class: Sniper --- Status: Comatose

Who am I.... ....a Tiefling ⓗⓞⓟⓔ is the new... ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± 'Darn my stupid parents! An accident they say, sure everything is an accident when something breaks.' A frail, skinny girl stood by her Second Life game system, a small brown stain stood on its right hand corner where he parent's 'accidently' spilled thier coffee onto the only thing that was actually allowed to live a little since she was constanty stuff in her home. She didn't think twice as she placed the head gear on her head and set the helmet and system on, 'Second Life here I come'. That was the last time she was awake and its been a week since then, her body now layed in a hospital bed with an IV attatched to her left arm and an oxygen mask over her face. A man with a white stood over the girl with a solem expression and puffed out a sigh writing on his clipboard the word unchanged on a girl named Nana Kuro's medical record and a nurse soon swiping it away from his grasp. "No change today doctor." "No change," he responded as she he shoved his wrinkly white hand's into his coat pocket's. The girl has had a past history of being weak in health and immune system and thus forced to stay in her home, "What are you going through now." His word's wouldn't reach her just like her parent's and family who have tried and tried in the past till they eventually gave up on her and waited to see what time had set for her.
She wandered through the town square, her silver locks swishing from side to side as she walked around frantically around the square trying to make sense of things going on. She had been trying to log off since two days ago and she was stuck in the game STUCK she couldn't make sense of anything, or why this was even happening to her. Above her head was her username: hope, it was suppose to be meaningful as the game was supposed to bring some of it towards her life but all she was getting despair, moving from being trapped in her home to being trapped in a game, 'at least I can move around a bit'. She wandered to a fountain when a melody reached her ear's, it somewhat brightened her mood as she sighed as the girl placed her head in her hand's as hope tried to allow the melody to wash away her problems.± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ...Nana Kuro What am I... ....a Mage thats what

✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧Aiden walked out of the hospital, wishing those damn doors were made so that you could slam them. But they weren’t. It was a hospital, a clean, quiet place where people were either cured of their illness or were left to spend the last days at. He was mad though…okay a bit more than mad obviously. And you would be too if the doctors had just talked to you about the option of pulling the plug on your comatose brother. It hadn’t been even two months yet and the doctors were already suggesting such a thing. But that wasn’t what really got Aiden’s blood boiling. What really made him ticked were his parents’ reactions to being told about this option. They didn’t get mad like Aiden, they didn’t get sad like some people might’ve, they didn’t get happy or curious, they didn’t get anything. Mr. and Mrs. Waldorf just listened to the doctors with blank expressions like they have been for a while now. Aiden knew it was hard on his parents to have their youngest son suddenly put into a coma, but he still wished that they would just show some kind of emotion. He knew that if he could just get Kisan to wake up or whatever, then they’d return to their old selves. But that was easy said than done. A week after Kisan had been put into a coma, Aiden had joined Second Life and gone searching for his brother. He had a talent for computers, more specifically, he had a talent for hacking, causes viruses, and breaking into top-notch company stuff. So Aiden knew about the virus and knew that players were suddenly getting stuck in the game while their real life selves went into comas. He couldn’t find the virus though due to the Second Life having too tough of firewalls so he couldn’t even look. So he went with the next best option which was to go into the game himself, find his brother, and try to find this virus. Once again easy said than done. A month and a half of searching for his brother in this game and he still couldn’t find him! Whether it was because he wasn’t that great at the game, that Kisan moved around a lot, or because the lands in the game were just too big, who knew. Aiden just decided that it was because the game was stupid.
Back to the current moment though~ Aiden let out a sigh as he walked to his car and lit his cigarette. He needed his daily nicotine or that temper of his could get out of hand. It didn’t help that the one person who could control it, Kisan, was not there at the moment. Aiden wasn’t a violent type of person really but he could lose his temper easily. It wasn’t his fault that things stressed him out too much. The smoke swirled around him as he got into his car and drove his way back home. By the time he was there and out of the car, his cigarette was gone and he now stomped it out with his shoe. He headed inside the Waldorf home and headed for his room. At times like this, when his brother’s condition wasn’t getting any better he headed for Second Life. You could figure out by now that he wasn’t a big fan of the game, but he needed some hope. He needed to search for his brother and for this virus to take away some of this stress. He headed for his room and logged into the game. It was an odd experience going from reality into Second Life and was a hard one to explain so I won’t. Soon enough though, he was in Second Life. His dyed pitch black locks were replaced with deep brown ones, the few tattoos that he did have on his upper torso, arms, and hands were replaced with many, covering almost every inch of skin there, and his copper orbs changed to ones of a bright violet hue. He still resembled himself, but yet looked different. He had pointy ears and a pitch black tail that swished behind him, but no horns or wings like some Tieflings had. His class was a Mage and he specialized in dark magic of course~ He wanted to become a Necromancer, but we’ll see if he has the patience to play the game for that long. He wasn’t like his brother; it would take him a little bit. He started where he had left off: Dark City. He had searched every place except Star City and Infinite City. Since he was closest to the border of Infinite City, he decided to start there. He crossed over the border and started to make his way. ✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧✦✧ Online Name: Mischief --- Logged in as: Aiden Waldorf --- Race: Tiefling --- Class: Mage --- Status: Regular Player

Upon the arival of the new morning in the Game of Second Life, two more unnoticeable players walked their grounds on the floor of Infinite City. One being a remotely tall, slender male that went by the name of 'Cheshire' or as most merely called 'Chesh' for short. This being rather obvious seeing the jet black neko like ears and tail that detailed his body. The sleek yet tastled raven hair hanging lazily down to his lower neck in an odd fashion. The piercing gold eyes scanning across the area as though looking for prey, past the uninterested, yet calm expression that plastered over his face. the sweet, creamy colored skin tone he held expressing brightly upon the darker clad that hung from his figure. A skick leather coat covering his sholders upon the rugged wrinkled checkered shirt he wore beneath it. The black pants that seemed torn in almost every direction and way still fitting nicely on his tall legs as he walked along the unmarked paths of the city. One hand shoves rather carelessly into his coat as the other, adorn with sharp long raven black nails held a long cigarette between his middle and index finger. Taking in the sweet toxins only to exhail and take another drag. The other being a smaller, more slender framed female with pale hair, almost that of white. The silk like smooth locks hanging freely from her pale, practically glowing skin, one might say. Her sharp honey like eyes scanning the area as well though with a rather smug smirk across her pale pink lips that appeared to glisten in the faint light of the large city. Her body attire being adorn by large yet thin metalic armors and silks for better agility and movement. Something most thieves strived for in the game to give perks. Her small, almost china doll like hands resting orderly at her sides as she walked along side the other male. At times her right hand tapping the dagger attached to her upper thigh in boredom, causing a resounding clicking noise from her long nails upon the pristine metal of its hilt. This female known to go by the name of 'Nayamike Alice' or as most knew her by as 'Alice'.
Most would see the two and think of a rather odd pairing. Then again many didnt team up in Second Life, it was only common sense after all though. Most couldn't get far with a team without getting stabbed in the back or troubling problems brewing between the lot of them. But these two pairings were just like any other, though they were smarter, despite their appearance. They were known as some of Second Lives most skilled Thieves. The game had rather recently came out but they were both already at level 40. Something rare to see in the game yet, with a few acceptions from a few other players in the game. Both were Tieflings, one could tell by the way their attire was, as well as the strange features that adorn there characters. Each Thieves of high quality though both with different talents. And that was what raised them close to the top. Both players held a cross bow and arrows in which each were skilled at, though the personal weapons were what varied them. Chesh was known for his skills at long range attacks, very sly thieving skills, as well as close range combat with his two favorite weapons. The two sharp blades that tracked and retracked from the cuffs along his wrists. The female being known for her quick, agile movements, skilled tracking and hiding perks, pick locking and the sharp dagger that always lies strapped around her upper right thigh for quick use. The two players were always seen together at all times, ever apart when each are on. Though, there is the time when Chesh is seen on his own without Alice anywhere to be found. This is the time when Alice logs off. The only reason Chesh doesnt as well, is because he can't.
Souko, or better known as 'Chesh' is one of the more recent players that was effected by the Virus of Second Life. The effect of the virus throwing him into a coma like every other player that was contacted by this virus, thus leading to the fact he can not log out or leave the game. Forever stuck in the virtual world till they find a cure for the glitch, if they ever do that is... Seeing as how Souko has been under this comatose state for at least a month on a half, he knows quite well how it works. Most under the effect of this virus merely forget about the game. They long for reality. To get back to the open world outside of the game, so they don't pay attention to the game as much. This results in many not caring about there levels, about there players health, about where they stand in the line up. They just want to get out once again and resume their normal lives. Though Souko is one of the few that continue. He had always been a rather calm character. At ease about everything, though this is one thing that perks his curiosity. The way he thinks about it, is this. What happens when you reach level Zero? What happens when those who dont care about the game anymore, let themselves be knocked down to the point of game over... What happens after that? Thought would scare most people, though it only intrigues Souko, yet at the same time, he wouldnt want to find out for himself, so he continues. Besides, its a game right? Everyone loves games... All they got to do is find a way to win it...

He could feel the presence of the virus...the attachment it had on other players. "Three..." He murmured under his breath, before the blonde elven male got to his feet, letting his harp disappear into thin air, returning to his 'bags' until he needed it again. Ice blue eyes once again wandered the crowd, picking out who he believed were the victims..... Being a Gm was the only way he could tell....the people with the viruses had an error in their codes... When had so many people fallen victim to the virus? He hadn't even realized until now... but then again they had never gathered here before it would seem.
Without a word he weaved through the crowd, some of them a bit disappointed that the bard was leaving, he was....well... eye candy to many of the players. Once he had stepped out of the crowd he moved himself back into one of the less popular streets, going through the list of names he had saved.... teens with the virus imbedded into their code, which meant they were trapped just as he was... "I do not wish to alarm you, but i would like to talk to all of you players in which i had private messaged. I am a GM within this game, and i am fully aware of your current predicament...For i am also in the same predicament as yourself. I hope that you will all meet me at the tavern & Inn on sonlith street, beside the old potion shop....I believe that perhaps i can help you, and maybe you can help me
~Zero." After he sent his message zero headed towards the inn & Tavern, a cozy little place where he usually spent his nights. The Inn keeper had been programmed to instantly recognize Zero, giving him food, a place to stay, an whatever he required to keep himself sustained in game....after all, it was impossible for him to leave. Once he was inside he took a seat closer to the back of the Tavern and simply waited, a mug of cider being placed before him by the inn keeper, which he simply stared at for a while, before he took a sip of the drink, enjoying the refreshing taste.... That was the pleasant thing about Second Life, the food was generally quite good, and at least he could still eat, sleep, drink and feel like he normally did....▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ERROR: We are unable to process your request::'Log out'-Please try again later.

Who am I.... ....a Tiefling ⓗⓞⓟⓔ is the new... ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± The girl was still, for now it did not matter whether the music was there or not for it might of been soothing but that wasn't enough to soothe away her problems. She thought of the hours she had spent killing creatures of low levels as well as players, how she had remembered the times when she was once an Arch Sage and how she was able to easily take down creature of her level or lower with ease as well as all the players of equal or lesser experience than herself, those were good days but being such a newbie was just...depressing. Though, it couldn't be helped and whining plus complaining about it wasn't going to get her anywhere especially since she was just being a child and mopping atop the fountain, an attitude change was definetly in the agenda. Hope stood on her own two legs as she was ready to take on the challenges of the game but she felt strange as a shiver went up her back, it was quite odd since it usually happened when someone was staring intently especially if they think that she was 'fresh meat' as people nicknamed the new players around the parts and throughout the game, it was a title that sticked but after hours of playing the game she was used to it and found it to be a waste of air for anyone that would call her that.
Hope stretched her limbs, sore from sitting so uncomfortable atop the fountain but if you don't believe her then you try sitting all day and doing nothing but ponder trying to figure out a solution from her 'problem'. She splashed some refreshing, cool water on her face trying to bring her back in reality of Second Life since she had done many attempts to wake herself up but if she couldn't get out the game then she might as well enjoy it now since who knew how long hope would stay in the game. 'At least I can try to become a Arch Sage once more, she chuckled at the silly thought but it was really her only driving force, for now so it would have to suffice until she just caved in. Hope brought up a black screen that descriped news going on in Second Life, but it also displayed a map, a clock and friends {if she had any}, of course there were more options but she was too lazy to really pay attention to them at the moment. When she first played the game she wasn't sure how to bring the little black screen up and after many failed attemtps she finally asked for some help' it was actually relatively easy that she mentally slapped herself for not thinking of it earlier. All you had to do was think 'Map', 'time', 'friends' etc and the black screen would pop up in front of you. At the moment, hope was looking through the map, searching for monsters that she would be able to handle but only being a level twenty-nine she had a way to go but she was so close to become a sage, why she chose to become what she is now was at complete randomness. Nana had not put much thought into the game and just had the game randomly select her character and they type they would be, if anything she certainly didn't want it to be Beastmen for they were certainly wierd hairy creatures.
Hope closed the black box when she felt a vibration in her pocket, a signal for mail of which she didn't recieve a whole lot ever since becoming a newbie but it was nice to get one once in awhile. She opened her mail, her hazel eye's scanning the contents of the mail, by the time she was done she wasn't really sure what to make of the mail for it seemed so strange and it was by a GM?! hope wasn't sure what to think but the tavern wasn't far and if it was some practical joke then they were sure going to get a whoopin. Thus, she set out to the tavern not understanding her 'predicament' or the adventure she was about to indulge in with this man, Zero.± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ...Nana Kuro What am I... ....a Mage thats what
