on the outskirts of the city, behind the school, there is a large area where meisters can train with their weapons. they had lots of steel targets, and even a few dummies to beat up. there is even a basic metal fighting robot for those who want a bit of a challenge. be sure you get out there and do some real fighting though smile training isn't everything. the equipment is set back up and repaired twice a day, so there will always be something to train with.

Shinra and Flare arrives at the training ground. Shinra is full of excitement that couldn't but to shout, "ALLLLLRIGHT, LET'S GET THIS SHOW ON THE ROAD. THE NUMBER ONE TEAM IS GOING TO SHOW THIS ACADEMY WHAT WE'RE MAD OF." Shinra laughs out loud, "Are you ready, Flare?"

 i sing my life's story with all my heart, but no one ever seems to hear it. is my voice finally cutting through?flare blushed, fixing the decorations on her head. sure. let's get this started. go ahead and transform for me. flare said, grinning. why do i always feel alone? the freinds i never had never cared. at least i'm where i belong. maybe things will be different.....

"Alright then, you're going to be amaze by my transformation," Shinra laughs. Shinra jumps in the air and transform into his weapon form and lands in Flares hands. "Ok then Sparky, what do you want to do first?"

Flare smiled. how about i show you one of the reasons i'm called sparky? flare said with a chuckle. she wondered if her soul attacks might impress him. she loved her lightning style fighting, although she did enjoy working with the other elements.

flare grinned. she tossed the sword up a little, catching it with her left hand. she held her right hand out, and focused on one of the metal targets. her breathing slowed as her soul energy started to gathering in her arm. soul spark she said, and a lightning bolt of soul wavelength struck out, smashing into the target, sending sparks flying everywhere around it. pretty cool ,huh? I'm more lightning based that most. i some other neat moves, but they aren't as developed. so, do you have any special attacks? Flare asked, putting the sword back into her right hand, grinning brightly.

"Ummm, well I..." Shinra laughs nervously, " I ... really.. don't..... know any." Shinra becomes silent for a while. "Hmmmmm, weeeeeelll..." Shinra thinks about something that his father told him, "there is a move I know, but it's really complicated." Shinra thinks it over to remember how it's done.

HMM? oh, that's fine, i was just wondering. that's the only one that i know is succesful, and i work on it all the time. it's my best deffence if i'm by myself. that's one of the reasons people started calling me sparky. Flare said.but for the most part, it was more like an insult the way people said it. ah, but it never realy bothered me. people never gave me much attention for more than a day or to, but the few friends i did have never stopped calling me sparky. Flare though to herself, silently shrugging off her thoughts.

"Well the best defence is the best offence," Shinra said. "Sparky,how well can you do soul resonance?," Shinra asked Flare, "Because I think we should at least try it once, so when we can see where we at before we run into trouble. Don't you agree?" Shinra laughs and waits for Flare answer.

well, I'm most certainly not bad if that's what you're asking. my whole family has gone to the DWMA, and two of my brothers were weapons, and i trained with them all the time, so i'm quite good. my brother said i had one of the most flexible souls he has seen in some time, so it should work well, although i've only done it with my brothers before. well, let's try it. Flare said, smiling. she held the sword up slightly, drawing in her soul energy.

"Alright then, let's do it," Shinra said to Flare. Shinra concentrates his energy and focusing it to match Flares soul wave length. Still focusing, Shinra whispered to Flare so they don't won't mess up, "Ok, Flare I think match your wave length. I'm ready to perform it."

flare nodded, her eyes closed, pulling her wavelength about ever so slightly to perfectly sycronise their wavelengths. Flare's eyes snapped open, feeling Shinra's wavelength. Lets go! soul resonance! she said, starting the resonance cycle, feeding her wavelength into the sword, feeling it return with more momentum and energy. her soul wavelength danced about them like giant static. it flowed in harmony with their wavelengths, sparking and crackling to itself, both lous and silent at the same time. only they could hear the dancing sound of her lightning.

Shinra feels the power going through him, "this power, it feels amazing." Shinra thought about the power that Flare and him made, I never felt a power this powerful, hmpf, just as I said. Flare is a number one meister.

Flare felt her power rise as her soul swelled up slightly. Shinra's weapon form changed slightly, growing slightly long and slightly thinner, so that it was still about the same amout of sword. she turned in a full circle, snapping her wrist around, sending an electrical wave slash that smashed into the target, exploding ina s hower of sparks. the target was almost knocked over from the force of the impact, which suprising since it was solid steel all the way through. Flare grinned as the sword returned to it's normal form. so how's that for being sparky? Flare said with a grin.
