Welcome to Tokyo Japan! Arguably it is the largest urban metropolis in the world according to most. It is home to approximately 36 million people. Because the city is so large it is divided into "Wards" or districts. The Photographs in this forum will be divided into the most famous wards and a few random pictures. At the end I will post some aerial photography of the city. =]
A few facts about Tokyo:
* It is a "Global City" due to its GDP and business attractions
* It is the Capital of Japan, [ The Eastern Capital ] After Kyoto, which is regarded as the old Capital.
* Tokyo is regarded as the fashion capital of Asia.
* Official residence of the Japanese Emperor Akihito.

Southern Wards: Minato, Koto, Chiyoda, and Ginza. There you will find the following attractions
* Roppongi Hills, an expensive upper class residential district
* Tokyo Tower
* Fuji TV Headquarters
* Tokyo Disney
* Sensoji Temple
* Imperial Palace
*Tokyo Station
* Sumida, Sumo wrestling district.
* Rainbow Bridge

Tokyo Sky Tree, which should open to the public soon. It is the tallest structure ever constructed in Japan, and is one of the worlds tallest skyscrapers.

The next is rest of remaining wards in no order from Shibuya, Ueno, and Shinjuko etc. Tokyo is a very dynamic city, a mixture of old and new.
