Homura stat within the midst of a tall tree, leaning against the thick trunk. She played with her bracelet, sighing. She hated this place, so dark and gloomy. And if she showed herself to anybody, that could mean death. She sighed slightly, looking up through the tree branches, looking at the sky. If anything changed, if the past was changed, what could have happened today? she thought. Was it fair? Was it really fair to kill people because of overpopulation?

Homura frowned, feeling like a cold air blew. She felt like someone... or something was was watching her. She grabbed the hilt of her short sword, and tightened her grip around her bracelet, something that always gave her hope. She stood up silently, and looked around suspiciously. Keeping silent, not saying a word.

Homura jumped up to a higher branch nimbly, tightening her grip on her short sword. Either another person involved of the Awakening, or a Hell Angel. Either way, something bad. Most likely they won't leave without a fight. She pulled out her sword, and it gleamed darkly within the half light. Mother, Father, please help me.. she thought. If not, well... she'll see Father soon then..

Homura managed to dodge the compact knife, whacking it away with her sword. She looked in the direction of the source, where Daniel was. She readied her sword again, ready for another attack. Not a word spoken, simply, a glare of challenge.

Maybe another time, if this girl survived for a bit he would finish her. He jumped out of the tree and seemed to fade in the horizon's blinding light.
