Shawn ran down the halls to his office. He opened the door and turned to the girl that stood beside it. "Hi, were you looking for me?"

Her cloak was over her eyes, "Yes, I just got here and was looking around."

"Well, if you need, I can supply you with a map of the school." He looked at a clock. "Oh crap, I'm going to be late for my meeting if I don't hurry. Do you think you could sit in there with me? I still have to get you a dorm key." He looked at her and stuck out a hand. "By the way, I'm Shawn. I'm the headmaster. Nice to meet you."

"Sweet." He lead her through a side door in his office that lead to another room. A few older people sat around a long table and he grabbed an extra chair and set it down beside his own. He motioned for her to sit as he sat in his own. An elderly looking man looked at Shawn with a slight amount of contempt and hate. "You're late again." "Sorry, I ran into a student that needs a room key." "Do you think we care?" "You should." "It would be greatly appreciated if we had a little more respect." Shawn stood slowly, eyes smouldering like fire. "You get all the respect you deserve. If you think your better than me, would you like to try to take my job? My father was a much better man than you could ever be. People like you live off of the success of others." An older woman stood up. "Shawn, nobody said anything about taking your job or your father. We only think you do not give us enough credit for helping." "In that case, I will leave you in charge of more matters concerning class schedualing. Though, there are some things I would like to bring up. Like the fact that there are too few teachers. If we had a few more, we could start. It would be too difficult to start a class schedual. I think it would be good to start the weaponry training soonest because of all the reports I hear of nearby bandits. I could teach that for now. That and you never did tell me why the school had to be closed for that time. You kept me in the dark. It's also around the time when my father died. I want to hear that tomorrow, but tonight, I would like to get this new student her key and go back to my dorm and sleep. I expect you to make sure each student is aware of what I have said concerning them." He motioned for them to leave and he went to follow them out. He turned back to the new girl and went over to the key wall. He took down an available one. "Here, this is going to be your key. You can go get yourself settled in your dorm and I hope I can see you tomorrow at the training."

Aria ran to the door and knocked softly. She was wondering whether she really wanted to go to the kitchen or not. On one hand she needed the ice for her ankle and she had said she would go help Azrael find some food. On the other hand... she really didnt need the ice that much. "Excuse us, we were wondering if you could help us out, headmaster," Aria said quietly as she waited for the door to open.

Shawn ran down the hall and almost passed his office. He pulled a key from his pocket and fumbled with the door a while before he noticed the girl. "Oh. Can I help you with anything?"

"Well, um... Miss Azrael and I were wondering if you could help us find the kitchen. I just arrived yesterday so I really dont know my way around..." she said timidly. Aria usually never got nervous when talking to anyone but somehow meeting the headmaster made her anxious. "Y-you don't have to waste time in taking us there. W-we just need some directions on how to get there..."

He looked at her for a second with a strange look and burst out laughing. "It's fine, I have to go past it on my way to the garden. I was running here to grab my cup of coffee." He grinned and reached for his door. "If you would like to come in, you could have a cup for yourself."

Aria quickly examined him. The first thing she noticed was that he seemed a little young to be headmaster, but she knew from experience that if you try anything could be acheived and that age was never a factor. She gave him a small smile then bowed her head politely. "That would be nice, thank you," she said trying to hide a bit of her nervousness.

He looked at her with kind eyes. "What can I do for you? Oh yes, the kitchen." He turned to a coffee pot and pored a couple glasses. "Don't you get a map from the secretary if I'm not available? I told her to do that... Ugh, it's been too busy with this outbreak of Beasts and mercin-" He cut himself short with a frustrated cough. "No, those are my problems... Well, if you are ready, I can take you to the mess hall, which is most like a kitchen."
