((I just love the name Sarabi lol I felt like making that known XD))
Sarabi inched forward, her belly low to the ground. Her claws were sheathed, making sure her steps were silent; her gait was swift and her tail straight to balance her. Her light green eyes danced with excitement when she caught the sight of an antelope, still grazing peacefully and stupidly a little ways away from the herd. She began to edge closer, further into the tall, brazen grass. Her breathing slowed, and didn't even rustle the cool plants before her. She was stalking now. The deadly stalk of a natural-born predator could be rather frightening, but to her, it was exhilerating. Adrenaline surged fresh through her veins as her muscles tensed, waiting to pounce. Sarabi was an Outcast, and did not belong in the Pridelands, but her Pride needed food, and so did she. She clenched her stomach before it could growl, her tongue slipped out to run over her muzzle. She waited, and-- "Rooooooar!" The call of a male lion echoed around the plains. Somewhere far off, near the watering hole, Thabu was blowing on his bleeding tail as if someone had burnt him. "That hurt!" He growled at his brother, who shrugged. His handsome mane looked as if it had been stroked gently by the warm sunshine, turning it gold like the fields. His wild, dark blue eyes were growing softer, his anger already ebbing when he realized it was his fault for annoying Kwaku. "Next time you pick to fight with rocks, be wary of how large the rocks are around you, and how strong your opponent is." He stood, shaking out his dark pelt. His furry face was a mask of irritation, one that was well-known around the Pridelands. He was not what you would call sociable, he was more...Well, anti-social. He blinked, his blue depths matching his brother's, though just a touch darker. His eyes scanned for a particular lioness, though he showed no interest in his demeanor. He seemed more like he was scouting for tresspassers, or traitors. She could not see the lions, nor smell them on the wind which was blowing towards her in her favor, so she knew they were not close. But, it had still cost her breakfast. The herd was stampeding away, and she had to throw herself from the safety of the tall grass to chase after them. Even though she knew she was not fast enough to catch them at this distence, she knew she had more stamina, and could wait it out until one tired and slowed enough for her to make the kill. She kept her pace steady, and her senses on alert in case any Pridelanders decided to show up.

Tuzika huffed as she crept into the Pridelands, tail swaying low as she used the grass as camouflage. Lowering herself as she spotted a buffalo, clearly left behind from the others, grazing peacefully by itself the lioness let her ears twitch aware of her surroundings as she silently approaching the buffalo. Ears laid back as she stayed low, slowing her breaths as the large creature looked around unaware of the lioness's presence as she unsheathed her claws, allowing her to pounce on the startled animal. Sinking her teeth into the buffalo as it tried to kick Tuzika off as she easily killed the mammal, sending it slamming to the ground making a hard thud. She then let go of the buffalo, looking around for any Outcasts or Pridelanders before enjoying her well earned meal.

Dark fur rustled against the light wind which juggled at the reeds and grasses. Off in the distance bright green orbs could clearly see the large forms of two males. By the looks of it, it was two brother. Thabu and Kwaku. Prideland warriors. Gaurdians of others. A heavy huff exited the lips of a parted maw. Crouching to the ground, Ayita let her tail lay flat. Hiding with a still form, muscles were tense but relaxed enough to be ready to spring. This beautiful lioness you would think would be hard to hide among the grass. Nope even with her large form, she was a head huntress. For reasons you would have to see. As the herd of galloping antelope charged forward, obviously having been spooked by something, it was almost time to spring. Before she thought of going, Ayita stopped her large self seeing the creatures turn another way. Growling the lioness crept in a different direction, against the breeze. Ears twitched as the antelope were slowing. Lips itched to get around the throat of one. Then, suddenly she sprang to her paws and darted across the grass with ease. Large powerful paws and long limbs propelled a large muscular figure forward. Jumping into the air, claws outstretched, the lioness practically foot ball tackled a large male antelop. It didn't take long to sink her sharp fangs into its neck. Thanking the lions of the past she tore her fangs away, licking the warm blood from her maw. "Thabu! Kwaku! Come have a well deserved meal!" She roared to the warriors. They seemed to have been out here for a while. "Manaba wants you guys energized." Muffling a huff, her eyes turned to scan across the grass. She had a sudden feel that she wasn't alone.

Tuzika licked her paws after finishing her meal letting her eyes scan the area as she stretched her muscles allowing the sun to warm up her coat before getting up ears twitching as she listened to her surroundings as her nose twitched softly knowing how dangerous it was to be in the Pridelands and be a rogue but she didn't seem to care for she began to walk to the water source, that was not provided in the Elephant Graves, to drink the fresh cold water slightly relaxing but still alert of her surroundings

Kwaku tilted his head, the thundering herd of buffalo made the ground beneath his feet shudder; as if it would fall apart. Luckily they rarely came this far towards Pride Rock, unless of course it was a special occasion, such as the birth of the young prince. He mentally scoffed at that. Manaba might soon have many heirs; with his ability to woe all the females in sight. His ears twitched at the sound of his sister, a might huntress and a good leader. She should be the queen, and that brain-dead dolt elsewhere, in a place where his gifts would be more welcomed and appreciated. Kwaku left the watering hole, his dark mane being tousled by the warm winds. He was grateful for the food being offered, since he had not eaten since yesterday, and he dipped his head upon seeing Ayita. "Thank you," he would've said more, but his brother came bounding up beside him...Ruining his moment with the Pride's pride. He rolled his eyes at his brother's words, and dipped his head once more, apologetically this time. "Eh! I'm starving! Thanks Ayita, it's amazing. I wish I had your skill!" He purred sincerely, his sun-streaked mane falling about his face unevenly as he lowered to bite into the large animal. He was so thankful it was the lionesses' jobs to hunt, and not theirs. He had no trouble fighting...That much could be said, even if he was a little dense. But, when it came to hunting, Thabu had no talent for it, and no experience. As a cub, he could catch nothing...Not even the slowest animal on the savannah. He licked the taste of the tender meat greedily from his muzzle, stretching out lazily once he had eaten his fill--which was equal to half the carcass. He didn't understand why his brother wasn't more friendly. "How's the prey running? Buffalo not giving you any trouble? If they are just tell me an' I'll show 'em a thing or two!" He clawed an invisable foe; raking air instead of flesh. Make no mistake, he might look like a cuddly kitten, and might even act like it, but those claws were the claws of a lion's. His fangs were just as large, and just as deadly as any. How could anyone find Thabu charming? He'd never know. Kwaku was about to rebuke his brother, his words out of line and a little rude since she should eat first (having made the kill and rank being close to queen), but he suddenly stiffened instead. The winds had changed, and he had caught the scent of two unfamiliar lions. At this distence, he couldn't be sure if it was male or female. His tail thwacked his brother's head, none too gently, and he pointed towards the plains, and then once towards the watering hole where they had just been moments ago. His voice dropped just below a whisper. "See to the plains, you're quicker, and it's open space. I'll get this one." He crouched, his belly low to the ground. His stone black claws digging into the ground as he rocked back on his haunches. He suddenly sped forward, leaving no sound in his wake...Such skill his training had provided, and he was thankful for it. This new lion didn't seem to hear him, and he could see no mane, but rather a long, slender body. He knew it was lioness, but still, she was a tresspasser. He didn't forgive so easily. He leapt out with a loud, challenging roar as he landed squarely on her back. He pinned the light-colored rogue. "What are you doing here? State your business before I rip your head off!" He snarled, realizing she held no scent of an Outlander, but no scent of a Pridelander. Rogues were dangerous, even more so than Outlanders...They had seen things, learned things that those outcasts had no idea of. Thabu, having a more gentle heart than his brother, had crawled forward slowly, so as not to leave a large path in the grass and alert the outsider. He came to a clearing, where the buffalo were stearing away from his right. He blinked as dark fur whizzed past him. Her body was long, and well-muscled, but she carried the scent of an Outlander. Springing, he gave chase. Sarabi had veered away when she had scented another lioness, most likely out on a hunt. She silently cursed the winds as they whipped her fur back and forth--but she stayed. She knew she had to make a kill and fast; before the Pridelander hunting parties roused from their resting spots and left. She could easily avoid a sentry, or a scout, but not an entire hunting party who was better fed and well-trained than she. Then again, she had more aggressive fighting moves; Priderlanders were too soft. She heard thundering pawsteps of persuit, and she glanced back--her mistake. The large lion was a warrior; she could tell by his bulky body, his muscles clenching and unclenching with every step he took. He had the obvious advantage, but he was recently fed--she could tell by his overly-large belly. He would most likely cramp soon; lions weren't meant to give chase just after a meal...Still, she didn't know what to expect, and that was dangerous. She was swifter, and more agile, cutting zig-zag's, and making circles around him. It seemed to work; his face confused and distorted in momentary pain, but he didn't give up! She wasn't looking ahead now, keeping her eyes on his large paws and shuddering as she thought of the damage they could inflict. That was another mistake. She tripped over a large rock, and snarled as she was pinned painfully on her chest. She used her hind legs to claw at his belly, but he used his own back legs to pin those down. She had only gotton a few marks; fresh blood dribbled from his stomach and splattered her fur. "Well? What are you waiting for, Pridelander?" She sneered. Sarabi wasn't going to back down, not even in the face of death. The price to pay was one pound of flesh, if they crossed the borders, and she knew in her state she wouldn't survive a wound like that. While she was better fed than her Pride, she was still weak with running, training, and scarce food and water. Thabu blinked. He couldn't hurt her...She was the most beautiful lioness he had ever seen! Even more so than the queen...He mentally pondered what to do; and so he stepped back. She was a lot stronger than he thought an Outlander could be, but she was still weak...He would not fight in such unfair surcumstances. "Are you too weak to make the kill? Pathetic! I expected more." "You will see our King, and he will decide what to do with you. Besides, there is no honor in killing. A warrior only kills if he has to." He grinned suddenly, and saw her back away in confusion...For it was not a smirk to sneer, or a smile of triump, it was gentle, and kind. "I think you could use some food, though, before we go off." "Unlike you, I feed my Pride before myself." "And look at where that's gotten you." "That is none of your concern; and for your information I could kill you if I wanted-right now." "I know. But, you aren't going to." "How would you know?" "Because, no offense, but you don't look like the type to make an unncessary kill." He shoved her forward, and dipped his head to the head hunter as they passed. "I've caught an Outlander, would you know where to find Manaba?" He made sure the lioness couldn't get away; he stayed behind her, close enough to gnaw on her tail if she tried anything. Even as a captured, Sarabi glared at this lioness. She was pretty enough, so probably a high-ranking one of the Pride. It would be a blow to them if she killed her; but while anger surged forward, her paws would not move. She mentally snarled at herself, are you too afraid? Too weak to kill her and this idiot they call a warrior? Or, is it because you are strong enough not to? She couldn't be sure, but for some reason his words had struck home. Her green eyes held only hatred as she remembered why her and her Pride were outcasts. Why her father had been torn away from his loved ones. They were murderers, tyrants, brutes...No more, no less.
((To sum it up, Kwaku has Tuzika pinned so she cannot move and is asking her to state her business, and Thabu has met Sarabi out in the tall grasses--and has brought her towards Ayita))

The strong will to take down prey and provide for the pride was a great way to feel useful. Ayita loved hunting. Not the killing as it meant taking away a life that could've been put in any body on the savannah. But, it had to be done to provide and feed the lovely family she had. The Pride was her everything. Ayita would do anything, ANYTHING, for them all. If that included killing she would. As for enjoying it? It was the feel of the grass whipping against her flanks and the wind through her fur which exilerated her the most. The feel of watchful eyes from above helped the powerful lioness. Breaking away from her through process, the large female dipped her head in greetings to the two brave warriors. The brothers looked similar but in personality were polar opposites. Kwaku was quiet and respectful. He thought before acting and seemed strategic. Would make a great king. Unlike Ayita's younger brother Manaba. The dolt was a little hyena brained. Though, it seemed Thabu, Kwaku's brother, was more of a lion then Manaba. Even if he acted like a cub half the time. There was nothing wrong with keeping an attitude of being a cub again. As long as it didn't interfere when it was necessary to be serious. Like right now for instance. He came up with a joke and good amusement of a thanks before starting to chow down. None the less he was entertaining. "You two are welcome of course. It is my job to make sure the pride is fed. Mothers to be and warriors in my opinion are the ones which need more nutrition." Never seemed like it but Ayita was thoughtful and sincere. Her straight forward attitude matched her serious face. Laughing a little, she stopped adrubtly. Swiftly turning her gaze in a different direction, she seemed to have been the first to sense the outsiders. Growling, she knew it wasn't her matter. So instead she sat back to watch the kill as the two darted off. They were doing there job. So, she helped herself to a leg that Thabu left. Wasn't much, but enough. Now it didn't take long to hear a scuffle and the sound of claws. Looking up after a few minutes, it was easy to see Thabu bringing a obvious Outlander lioness forward. "Thank you for accessing an intruder Thabu. But, even if she is an Outlander, as a Pridelander you should give respect. Since you never know if she is part of us in liniage, if you do not remember that some were sent away." Her voice held authority but was not demanding or scolding the adult warrior. Scoffing she turned her attention to Sarabi. "Manaba is at Priderock more then likely woeing another lioness." Ayita was looking over the Outlander. For a thin and obviously fast lioness, she had to admit she was good colors. No matter, was nothing she cared about. "I'll take her with me. You should stay out here, keep your brother company. And remind Kwaku not to do any unecessary killing. His claws have dealt enough blood this year." Ayita stood on her paws, showing her size. Indeed she was almost the size of any male. Could be good, could be bad. Huffing she moved to take a spot beside Sarabi. "Come with me." Now there was a monotone symble in her voice, eyes peering at the foreign female.

Tuzika's ears twitched but was too late to prevent the large male lion from pinning her she gave a soft growl showing she wasn't scared as she gave her response "My business is for myself I don't need to tell a Pridelander" with that being said the rogue used her skills to kick the lion off her claws unsheathed not afraid to take a life as she went to run off not giving the lion time to react he disappeared into the grass again

[Kiro, Lea, you two are peas in a pod when it comes to role playing. I feel dumb compared to you guys. xd Also, lions cannot purr, just to remind everyone.]
Abaeze stalked through the tall, golden grasses of the Pride land, thinking of the food she would be bringing Musa and the other cubs when she spotted three of her fellow Pride Rock lions. Slinking over, she gazed curiously, yet respectfully at Ayita and Thabu, then at the Out-lander lioness. "Oh my, what's going on here?" The day was beautiful and peaceful until she saw the trouble brewing within the savanna.

((YOU'RE NOT DUMB SNOWY! If anyone says so I will rip out their eyes and shove it down their throats so they can see when I tear open their carcass! biggrin OOC: Kwaku: You're so violent... Sarabi: She's just protecting her friends! Thabu: She's scary... END OOC Anyway, XxxDark, I don't think it is possible for a female rogue to throw off a Pridelander who is well fed, well-trained, and male. Just because of size and whatnot, plus he had her pinned so she couldn't move, but I'll make it work XD))
Thabu tilted his head. He hadn't disrespected the Outlander, he had merely made sure she wouldn't try to harm his Pride or run away after poaching and tresspassing on their territory. "I do not think she is one of us. I do not remember any of the females of our Pride having mates with such a dark fur color and light green eyes...Though Ranqui did have lightly tinted leafy orbs--as I've heard Chianti boast about many times." He grinned, the wind rustling his sun-streaked mane. He went through the list of names of the former Pride members in his mind, trying to picture the parents that could possibly be the Outlander's. He quickly nodded to Ayita, though, pausing the process. "If you are certain you can handle her, I will leave her to you. And, you're right...But Kwaku isn't bad--Hey Abaeze, I've caught an Outlander." He wanted to say more, but couldn't. He had seen dark intent, and a very strong protective instinct for all Pridelanders in his brother's eyes. He bounded away, and found him roaring at a female. She seemed so thin, and her fur was dulled, showing she was probably a loner, or a rogue. He padded up to them, laying a gentle, careful paw on his brother's shoulder. "I caught the lioness you had scented awhile ago...She was an Outlander...Kwaku, that's enough. You'll crush her." He motioned towards her belly, which seemed fairly empty. He was large, and bulky, while she was thin--though muscled--and had little chance of beating him...Never mind live much longer without air. Sighing he let his weight lift, only to be kicked off. He shook his head, disorientated for but a moment, before giving hot persuit to the lioness. A large form stopped him. "What're you doing?" He growled, blinking back his rage. "I thought you were dealing with that Outlander--do not tell me you left her alone with Ayita--" He knew that the queen would be the only Pridelander nearby... "Naw, that would be dangerous." He quickly began to nudge his brother towards the watering hole. "The rogue isn't a problem...We should continue our rounds, then report the sightings to Manaba." He could scent her, understanding she must have a harder life than any Outlander because she had to fend for herself, and had no Pride to rely on. "Since when did you care for protocol? Thabu," He saw his brother flinch like a cub, knowing he'd been caught. "Yes?" He asked, tentively. "Who'd you leave with Ayita?" "Abaeze." He grinned sheepishly, cringing at the fury burning within his brother's dark orbs. "Another female---why you---she should have a guard by her side!" He growled, knowing now that the rogue would've been long gone by now. He left, snorting angrily and rushing to finish his rounds. If the Outlander tried to run, she'd run right into him. He had to cool his head, and quickened his pace further, hearing the thundering pawsteps of his brother close behind. Sarabi wrinked her nose as if she had scented something distasteful, disagreeable. Another lioness came up to them, and she knew there was no chance of escaping now. Not without injury at least, and she couldn't afford that. "What, never seen another lioness before?" She snapped, responding to the hunter's, and the new one's, gazes. Her claws unsheathed and tapped the ground impatiently. "Are we just going to stand here staring all day or are we going to see the idiot you call leader?" Her tail whisked behind her. She was frustrated, and wanted to get away as quickly as possible.

[You're the best, Lea. No one's called me dumb yet, but I feel like it compared to your posts. They're so long and well constructed.]
Abaeze shook her head, giving a small chuckle at Thabu's goofy greeting. He was no better than her little brother, and was like one to her even if he didn't know it. She then blinked at the Out-lander, finding no spark of anger at her sharp words. Actually, the Out-lander interested her, and probably would interest Manaba, the thought of who made her want to roll her eyes. He was too immature for her tastes, but then again, she had no interest in males or having a family at the moment. "Please calm yourself." She glanced at Ayita, waiting for her order. She's leave once the head huntress gave the order.

Tuzika didn't get to far but she was out of sight of the Pridelander she then scented a place to rest for she was still full from eating the large buffalo and the large male's weight made it hard to run properly she knew it was risky and stupid but she was low on energy and injured using the grass to camoflauge herself ears twitching to check if her surroundings where save before laying down near a large tree

It wasn't hard to hear two large male brother's arguing off in the distance. Green hues held in amusement, since it was a time to be serious. Taking a Outlander to Priderock was a serious issue and need full attention. Ayita let her strong yet thin tail whip side to side before turning to glance over her shoulder. It was truly apparent to see Kwaku and Thabu arguing. Brothers. Males in general. Such odd minded beings. Then again, they had their priorities set straight and knew what it was their tasks were supposed to be. Unlike Manaba. The powerful lioness was disappointed and embaressed by her younger sibling. What trouble he typically caused. Though, that would be even more apparent when her and Abaeze took Sarabi there. No matter. "I would adivse a calm aura. My brother may indeed be a hyena-brained dolt most of the time, though he has the potential to be a fine thinker." It was her way of saying "cool your jets". Huffing she glanced to her smaller friend who had also said to calm down. "Greetings, Abaeze. Time to go." Now the striding towards the rock began.
(I'm sorry for any seemingly rude remarks I give. I do not mean to. I simply just do not notice what I say and or type until last second. And I am too lazy to go back and change them. Now onward, TO PRIDE ROCK!)
