Client: Rebirth Mission: "This place has long been known for its potential to both enhance and corrupt a Pokemon's power. We've noticed a sudden influx of travelers to this place with no explained reason. The one word we've been able to get out of these odd pilgrims is 'requiem,' no more, no less, and those who traveled there before have never come back. We need experienced Teams to investigate just what the cause of this phenomenon is, and act accordingly if you must." Dungeon: Mystic Portal Alright, let's get this started.

.::Stark & Rem & Luna & Geisha & Will & Drift & Mako & Siegfried & Argonne & Nariko::..::In the Team Room of Team Blacksteppe...The alarm clock went for three blaring notes before a blade of psychic energy cleaved the poor device in half. The Absol in the bed next to it groaned in apparent agony as he struggled to his feet. He started to stretch, then groaned and halted as his head protested violently against physical motion. A low growl came from Stark's throat at the light streaming through his window. Whiskey is obviously not a morning person, thought Stark with a groan, joined suddenly but not unexpectedly by another mental groan. No... more... alcohol, thought Boros, followed by more groaning. Stark couldn't help but agree with him, given his track record with getting... blitzed. Finally, he struggled to his feet, moving toward the door, and entering into the main hall. He looked from door to door, then went to Rem and Will's room. He opened the door, and poked his head in. "Guys, time to--" he said before being struck with a pillow in the face. "Noooooooiiiiiise..." came a weary groan from within the room. Stark rolled his eyes, and said sharply, "Kitchen. Five mintues," before withdrawing. After that, Stark went to the stairs, and, not wanting to ascend up them, called up to the other members of the leaving party. "Geisha, Argonne- time to get ready. Go get Gabriel up, too." He waited for a moment, before the sounds of doors opening alerted him to his teammates' wakefulness. He wandered toward the kitchen to get breakfast started. --- Argonne stepped out of his room, squinting against the light and sounds, even as meager as they were. He sighed in exhaustion- having been up already for hours- and went to the guest bedroom at the end of the hall. Ignoring propriety completely, he banged on the door three times. "Gaaaaaabe," he called weakly. "Wakey time. Mission soon. Breakfast sooner. See you downstairs." He waited briefly for a response, then started toward the downstairs.

 Gabriel
Gabriel nearly jumped out of the bed ready to kill someone, but luckily his time in the wild had taught him to wake up quickly and even in his wonderful post-drunk haze he could still roughly remember the details of last night. They'd agreed to work together on the mission and he had drank a little bit too much. Ugh, and who told him to call me Gabe? I hate when people call me that. The Weavile worked his way out of the blanket forcefully. He didn't usually use a blanket and from the awkward way it wrapped around his left leg and part of his body it showed. Gabriel was on his feet and moving at a good pace in an instant but he came to a very sudden halt as he opened the door. His hand shot up to cover his face, forming an insubstantial shield to block out the light. With a few short steps, the Weavile slipped out the door and closed it behind him, all the while careful to shield himself from those glaring, glaring lights. Liquor is not my friend. I need to remember that. Now, let's see... Judging from the way the hall looked, breakfast was probably that way...?

.::Stark & Rem & Luna & Geisha & Will & Drift & Mako & Siegfried & Argonne & Nariko::.Stark was stirring eggs in the pan when Geisha and Argonne came and sat at the table. Argonne looked at his flute, as though pondering whether the suffering of playing a note would be worth it, then set it back down, groaning under his breath. Stark rolled his eyes, then continued stirring his eggs, being very careful not to breathe in too much. It'll be good to get food in you, he thought, fighting back the nausea clawing at his throat. After a while, Rem and Will came into the room, the former groaning loudly as he voiced his displeasure. "Missions suuuuuck," said Will, trying his best to be pathetic. "Why do we have to get up so early...? And why doesn't anyone else have to go?"Rem sighed. "Everyone else is too young, in Luna's case, or not effective for this mission. The rest of us have skillsets and type advantages that make us well-suited to this mission, given the large amount of Psychic-types in the area, and--""Too many words..." groaned Will. Rem glared at the interruption, but otherwise fell silent. Geisha looked toward the hallway. "So, about Mr. Gabriel. Why exactly is he coming along?""Well, he brought the mission to our attention. We're helping him accept a mission on one of the victims' behalf, and we get to complete the Guild of Rebirth's behest. Win-win," said Argonne concisely, as though he wanted to spend as little time as possible actually speaking. Stark rolled his eyes, then began plating the eggs on the large amount of plates on the counter. "Regardless, he's a guest, and we should be polite," said Stark, sneaking a glance at Argonne. Argonne caught the look, and shrugged innocently. "You told me to wake him up..."

 Gabriel
Ah, yes. It was definitely this way. He could smell it from here. He could always smell them. It was instinctual. From the moment he was born, up until now, there was one fact that was concrete in his mind. More than anything else, he was certain of one thing. Eggs are delicious. He usually preferred to find his wild, but local and cooked was fine once in a while. The Weavile stepped in through the door way and looked around through squinted eyes. Stark hadn't been kidding when they said "reserves" from the looks of things. The team was almost the size of what Shatter was, though it felt so much larger since everyone was grouped together. Often, in Shatter, they had done their own things day to day overall. Aside from the obvious light sensitivity, however, the Weavile seemed fairly spry for whatever reason. "Morning." From the looks of things, the cooking was done so there wasn't really anything for him to do other than take a seat and sit down. And thus, that's what he did with remarkably little hesitation.

.::Stark & Rem & Luna & Geisha & Will & Drift & Mako & Siegfried & Argonne & Nariko::.Stark turned at Gabriel's greeting, then raised a paw in response. He watched Gabriel take a seat at the table, and went back to plating the last bit of eggs. He took the time to serve the team members currently awake, then sat at his own seat, taking a bit of egg before continuing. "Alright," he began, still a little raspy, "Here's what we have on the agenda- first, Rem, Gabriel and I will go and accept the actual behest from the Guild of Rebirth- that way, we can establish Gabriel's present affiliation with our team, so he can participate in the mission." He took another bite of eggs, then continued. "Will, Geisha, Argonne, you go buy some supplies for our trek out there- food and such. We'll all meet back at the main hall once we finish our respective jobs, no later than noon. Are there any questions so far?"

 Gabriel
"Sounds good." Gabriel took a bite of his eggs. They were good. He'd had better in the wild, but they were good. "I'll need about half an hour myself though. I need to pick something up and I need to inform the client." There was always the chance that they would have to send the kid home on his own or with only part of the group so informing the mother beforehand was of the utmost importance. If she didn't know that he was leaving there was a chance she would be unwilling to pay up. Of course, if she knew and refused to pay anyways Gabriel wasn't a man above force. He would receive his payment and he would receive it in good time. "I'll have to meet you there though. I should pick up my stuff before it gets tossed." He'd grabbed a night. If he didn't show up soon his possessions were in the trash bin.

.::Stark & Rem & Luna & Geisha & Will & Drift & Mako & Siegfried & Argonne & Nariko::.Stark nodded at Gabriel's statement- he definitely didn't want Gabriel to lose his belongings on their behalf. "Sounds fine to me," he said, still chewing. "We'll meet up with you once you get all of your affairs in order." He swallowed, cleared his throat, then continued. "So, after we all finish breakfast, we can divide and proceed on to our designated assignments. Any questions? Objections?" Stark looked around at the assembled team, and, barring any responses, he nodded. "Excellent," he said, finishing his eggs in one large gulp. "Meeting adjourned. Rem, come on," he said, leaping down from his seat. Rem started, then looked down at his half-finished eggs. "But-- breakfast! I'm not... agh," he groaned, picking up his plate and following after Stark. Leaving the rest of the team alone with Gabriel. There was a lull for a minute, before Will broke in. "So... Gabriel... where you from?"

 Gabriel
Gabriel stayed quiet, instead merely looking on and eating his eggs. He didn't have any problems with it. "I used to live in the Prey and Predator forest out west with some friends. I ended up saving a rescue team's captain one way or another and when everything was done we decided to join them." It was a simple explanation, but he couldn't exactly get much more in depth without telling the whole story. Not that he was entirely willing to tell the full story, either. Talking about how he had joined the team and how he had lived was one thing, but where he was from before the forest wasn't something he told people. James knew and he was the only one for a good reason. Everyone else--all of his friends, their histories were theirs. He wasn't going to talk about that. "How about you? Where're you from?" Gabriel pointed at Will with his fork before he put it back down to his place and continued eating.

.::Luna & Geisha & Will & Drift & Mako & Siegfried & Argonne & Nariko::.Will gulped down a mouthful of egg, and looked at Gabriel. He shrugged. "Here and there, you know. I was born on Thunder Ridge, but then I moved around a lot- my parents put me up for adoption, and I got around to a lot of foster homes an' such. After a while, I met these guys, and, ah... here I am." He took another hard long look at Gabriel after he finished. He got the feeling there was something unsaid, but hey- that was his perogative. Besides, he wasn't one to judge- he left out the fact that he met the team by trying to kill them with a Metagross and that his foster brother was a homicidal maniac- but you know. Whatever. Will cleared his throat, then looked around slightly awkwardly. "So, uh... anyone else wanna give it a shot? Argonne, how ab--""No," came the terse response, as Argonne took another bite of breakfast. Will followed suit, battered into silence. This is gonna be a long breakfast...

 Gabriel
Gabriel took a few quick bites from his plate before laughing a little bit. "Don't worry about it. I need to head off anyways. I'd rather not keep people waiting." The Weavile quickly polished off the plate of eggs with a surprising swiftness and then eased himself out of his chair. "I'll meet your leader in a little bit and I'll see whoever is coming around noon." God forbid he got there too late and his swords ended up in the trash. He wouldn't be happy if that happened, not even a little. Then he'd need to rush to catch up to Stark and deal with the mission and... Yeah, he was going to have to run. The Weavile worked his way to the door and stepped out with a wave behind him. "Thanks for the food."

.::Stark & Rem & Geisha & Will & Argonne::. The team gathered about five minutes before noon- Stark and Rem first, then Geisha, Will and Argonne later on, laden down with supplies. Will, predictably, was grumbling. "Oh sure, you guys take the easy job," he growled around the bag clenched in his teeth. Geisha rolled her eyes, and floated forward. "Where is Master Gabriel? We assumed he would be with you," she said. "Well, as he said, he needed to discuss the nature of the mission with his own client. He said he would be here momentarily," said Rem matter-of-factly. Stark nodded, looking behind them, as though searching for Gabriel. "Whatever the case, he'll be here soon, and then we can leave." The rest of the team nodded in agreement, as Will dropped his sack of goods. "Good. Then one of you can carry this.""No.""...I didn't even ask you yet.""Answer's still no.""a*****e."

 Gabriel
Gabriel walked towards the building as he ran through everything in his mind. He had his two swords at his side. Each one rested in it's sheath which dangled from a strap that ran across the Weavile's shoulder. One blade was simple in nature. It simple had a plain black sheath with a simple grip that was covered only loosely in bound leather. The other, however, was far more ornate. The sheath was crimson with a set of black lines running down opposite sides. The grip had cloth that had been embedded in the crossguard and bottoms of the handle, the latter of which had been capped off. A thick, leather-like string went down the handle and crossed itself repeatedly to form a solid grip for the user. He'd gathered what information he could about the area as well as as much information as he could get about the boy. There was nothing he forgot... not as far as he knew, anyways. The Weavile raised a hand and waved as he walked into the main hall. Whatever. It's too late now.

.::Stark & Rem & Geisha & Will & Argonne::. Stark looked over to the right, and saw Gabriel moving toward them. He raised a paw in greeting, and noted the new armaments the Weavile was carrying. There was an appreciative hum to the left, as Argonne took in the blades. "Nice swords," he said, glancing at the blades at Gabriel's side. "Both by the same smith, or... separate makers?" Stark ignored the Lucario for a moment, and nodded in greeting. "Glad you could make it. I see you got your possessions in order, yeah? Anyway, I spoke to Guild representative that put up the request. You're officially affiliated with us for this mission, so everything's been cleared up. So, as long as everything's been taken care of on your end of the deal, we're good to go."He turned slightly, then back to Gabriel. "Are you prepared?"

 Gabriel
"Separate. I found one in the forest where I used to live, the other was given to me by the Crystal Chamber." It was quick and concise and was delivered after no more than a glance at the Lucario. The same quick words and simple explanation was given to Stark. "Everything on my end is clear. She's aware that I'm leaving today and my belongings are somewhere safe for the evening." When two people talked to him, he had a habit of making sure to give both of them a quick answer. The Weavile smiled and relaxed slightly as he looked at each individual in the group. This would be more than enough. They were six strong and two of them had an immunity to psychic. As long as he and Stark lead the group there wouldn't be any problems cutting through anything that came their way. "I'm ready if you all are."
