Marineford was the Marine Headquarters. It is where Fleet Admiral Sengoku and the three Admirals resided, along with many Vice Admirals and lower officers when they weren't assigned to another base. The city surrounding Marine HQ was inhabited by the families of Marine soldiers. Marineford was one of the three great powers, alongside the Shichibukai and the Yonko. It is situated near the Sabaody Archipelago, and laid directly next to Mariejois on the Red Line. The only safe way to reach Marineford is through the Gates of Justice. However, after the Battle of Marineford, the location of the Marine Headquarters was exchanged with that of Marine Base G-1.

After a good night of sleeping, Jason woke up and walked to his window. He looked outside and saw the marines working. Some were busy cleaning or repearing ships, others were making new structures. Jason did his clothes on and picked up his weapon. He went trough his door and closed it behind him. The sun was shining bright as he walked to his own doc, hoping that his ship would be ready for sailing.

Then, while he was waiting for his ship, another leuitenant walked at him and greeted him. Jason nodded back and smiled friendly. The leuitenant that he was going to talk with, had already set sail a few weeks ago, and came back to rest out. "The sea's are easy at the moment. You are lucky that you can set sail at a time like this" The man said as he looked to the sea. It was quiet and the only sounds you could hear, was the sound of the birds flying over the sea, and the marines working hard or training. "Yes, it's a nice day indeed." Jason said with a smile as he looked to the horizon. "This is your first time isn't it?" The man asked Jason. "Yes, I finally finished my training, and they already told me that I had to take over your shift for the next few weeks" Jason said as they were walking togheter to his ship. "I can still remember the time when you first came here Jason. You were staring at all the marines training and working, and especially that one women, if you remember ofcourse..." He said laughing. Jason started to laugh to and then repeated. "The only thing I can remember, is you people staring at my wings." They talked further while they were heading to Jason's ship...

Admiral Mordred was walking through the halls of Marineford. As she
walked by all the lower ranked members started to tremble. They've heard how
marines who usually served under her vanished because she would use them
to run "errands" for her. It just so happened on this day Mordred had to go
sailing with a few recruits because of a bet she had lost with one of the other
Admirals. The name of the marine who would be serving directly under her
was named Jason and he also happened to be a Skypiean.

Admiral Sahtya Kravinoff opened the door from what was technically 'her' office, though she only visited once every few months if that, and stared as one of the other two Admirals walked past. She knew of Black-Winged Mordred well enough, but rarely met the other female Admiral. The last time they'd met Sahtya had bet Mordred that she would lose to Sahtya in single combat, with the prize being any one (legal) favor the winner requested. Sahtya had won, barely, and had decided to give Mordred her fung-minding duties for the week. "Admiral Mordred. Pleasure, I'm sure. Going somewhere?"

After laughing and talking about the past with his fellow marine leuitenant, jason jumped on his ship and orderd the man to lower the sails, but to wait until his admiral would come. An admiral named Sahtya Kravinoff would be his higher up for this trip, but Jason started to think she was a bit late. Tough, Jason was a lower rank, so even if she was to late, he wouldn't complain or anything.

Mordred shot a cold (yet cartoon-ish) glare at Sahtya. "I was going to go
break in my new bed, but I had something else to do..."
She said remembering
her match with her ally. If it wasn't for that devil fruit power, Mordred would've
most certainly won. "What do you have planned?"

Sahtya shrugged, ignoring the look. She really didn't care much one way or the other whether Mordred disliked her. "I will likely return to Zandai, since I've no reason to stay here. Paperwork's done and the fungs have someone else to mind them now. You really ought to visit Zendai sometime, it's very relaxing."

Mordred raised an eyebrow. "Turns out that's the place where me and the
FUNGs are scheduled to go. Looks like I'll be able to relax after all."
She said and snapped and her assistant who was carrying Albion in its case started to
speed up because she was lagging behind.

Sahtya paused for a moment. They were going to Zandai? That could cause complications. While Admiral Sahtya Kravinoff had no problem with her fellow Marines visiting the island, Immaculate Sati would have to take exception to nonbelievers' presences if they attempted to visit the Shrine. Seiryu Anji was quite clear regarding the penalties that would be meted out to those that attempted to visit that most holy of places. Her predecessor, Roronoa Kuina, had died in defense of that place.

None of this showed on her face or in her voice, though. "Convenient, then. You aren't of a religious bent, are you? The Four Sainted Ones?"

As the two made their way to the docks, Mordred stopped and turned to
Sahtya. "I am not affiliated with any religion. Just saying the word leaves
a bad taste in my mouth."
Mordred snapped her fingers and her assistant had
opened Albion's case. She reached in and placed the golden rapier at her side
and boarded the ship with the FUNGs. "I'll meet you at Zandai. I have to
break in the new recruits before we arrive there."

Sahtya rose into the air on a pillar of ice and stepped daintily onto the deck, the ice-pillar quickly melting behind her. She would keep an eye on Mordred as long as she could. "A true shame about your atheist bent. The Four Sainted Ones were living humans within our own lifetimes, and their own teachings are more philosophy than religion. Would you be willing to listen?"

Comically, a large droplet of sweat rolled down the back of Mordred's neck as
Sahtya landed on the deck of the ship. "I don't put my faith in people or
deities because I can only rely on myself."
She said not turning around but
withdrew Albion from her side and started swinging it at one of the recruits
for practice. "I believed once.....and that was about the time my wing was
severed."

Sahtya manifested two orbs of ice in her hands, connected them with a strong cross bar of same, and began using them as a weighted quarterstaff. Her voice was calm as she responded to Mordred. "Most excellent, then. The Priesthood of the Sainted Ones is not focused around people or deities. The Sainted Ones did not ask that we think of them, only that we think. To offer openness and fellowship as Sunstruck Genbu, redeem those who stray from the path of light in the manner of Windswept Byakko, forgive transgressors with the aid of Starbound Seiryu's mercy, and in extremity to deal with those who would destroy us as Suzaku the Vengeful taught. Philosophy more than religion, you see."

She had begun sparring with four promising recruits as she spoke, and struck each one in the stomach with one end of her staff as she listed off the Sainted Ones. She turned to face Mordred after helping her unfortunate opponents off the ground. "Perhaps I could show you the Temple of the Bright King when we reach Zandai? It is a humbling place, to be sure."

Mordred out maneuvered the single recruit she was fighting and kicked him to
the ground leaving Jason the only recruit standing. "Don't stand there help
him up."
She said to him in a commanding tone. Turning to Sahtya she
signed and placed Albion once again at her side. "If it will get you to stop
talking sooner then yes."
She said rolling her eyes and rubbing and popping
her neck. "But until then, I will be in bedroom sleeping. We won't reach
shore for another 2 hours or so."
She said walking away and lazily waving her
hand over her shoulder as she walked away.
