 heart Valentine's Day Roleplay Event - In Search of Happiness heart Introduction Welcome to the Harowiin Valentine's Day Roleplay Event Thread! Please read the rules carefully before you proceed!
This roleplay event will run in three parts. On the first part, you will just roleplay to get to know each other. The second part requires more serious roleplay and teamwork. The third part will be a relaxing roleplay that is easy and light, in celebration of the end of the event.
This event will hopefully last quite a few days. It is not about speed, but about the content and quality of your entries, and most importantly, your teamwork. We hope this event will let everyone get to know each other, and for those Harowiin owners that don't come to the thread regularly to show their face xD.
And yes, there is a prize, and as most of you know, it will be a familiar. For those who already have a familiar, or don't want a familiar, there will be something else up for grabs. We hope everyone will participate and enjoy the event! Rules - Because this is meant to be a group roleplay, and we don't want it to end too quickly, please no double posting! That means, you can't post again until someone else had posted.
- Follow the Gaia TOS, general Harowiin thread and Harowiin Guild rules.
- No killing! As tempted as it may seem...

Prompt Amongst the chaotic preparation, the sky turned darker. The Harowiin's stopped dead on their tracks and looked up. The sun seemed to have disappeared behind the clouds. The surrounding trees suddenly rustled loudly. Birds gawked and flew in troupes over Haro Island. A cold gust of wind blow through the town, chilling the Harowiins not only physically, but emotionally too.
The feeling of celebration disappeared from the crowd. No longer do they feel any signs of happiness in their heart, but cold, chilling emotions washed over them. The Harowiins looked at each another, trying to guess wordlessly what had just happened.
Somewhere in the distance, a small cry of despair sounded. Louder and louder it grew, until all the Harowiins could hear the depressing sound... where did it come from? And why did it sound so sad on such a happy occasion? Objective Objective: Intensive roleplay with other Harowiins and their owners to try to find the source of the sound. There is a map of Haro Island available in the next post. =============================================== Ex-Prompt Valentines Day approaches once again on Haro Island. Everyone gathers together in the town centre, rushing to get everything done before the big Valentine party at the Town Square. With less than half of the decorations up and the menu missing some vital things - i.e. chocolate and gummy bears (SD's favourites <<;; ) everyone has to pull their own weight for the party to even occur! Ex-Objective Roleplay the pre-party preparation. If you haven't roleplayed much with other Harowiins before, now's a good time to get to know each other.

Sky sighed as he carried his pack up toward the front entrance. Lots of candy, cards, and shiny things were sticking out of the packets small opening. He hadn't planned to bring so much stuff, but Mark insisted on doing so. Mark didn't follow, for he said something about having important things to do.
"Where is everybody?"
He asked as he entered the entrance seeing nobody. With a sigh he pulled out some rolls of paper that seemed to look good around the town in his mind.
"Maybe later." He retorted to himself as he sat on the fountain, hoping Kinkade or his other friends would show up soon.

Kiyousei walked around.. she noticed something unfimiliar
in Haro Island..
''Eh.. ?''
She looked around the place.. where's everyone? The whole place
looked deserted. She thought it was a Valentines party..
tommorow is the 14th, and the 4th is Valentines. She looked around clueless.

Madison was running around the town square like a headless chicken. She had been putting up decoration up in high place; posters, dangly heart thingies and lots of sparkly Valentine's decorations. She was getting very excited.
She grabbed the giant heart from the box and headed for the fountain. This heart was always placed at the top of the fountain during the valentine's party every year. As she walked closer she noticed a boy sitting on the other side. I wonder if he's coming to the party as well she thought. Madison used her extentable bandage to place the heart at the top then took a few steps back to have a good look at it. It was a little crooked so she used her bandages to tap it into place. Unfortunalely, she tapped a little too hard and fell of and hit the boy on the head!
"Ack!! I'm so sorry! Are you okay? " she asked him.

If Sky would have noticed the girl he may of had time to dodge, but that wasn't the case. He yelled as he felt something large hit his head. He looked down to see it was a heart. With a blink he tried to think. Nothing came to him why someone would drop a heart on him.
"It's fine . . ."
He said rubbing the top of his head. He then looked down as he saw his pack on the ground and his candy on the floor.

"Um.. I meant are you okay?"
She took the heart and threw it back up onto the top of the fountain with her bandage. With another swing of her arm, the bandage collected all the candy back into the bag, swung the bag up and landed in Madison's arms. She had been taking every opportunity to practise with her extendable bandage.
"Um... here you go"
She handed him the bag and smiled gently.

Sky laughed as he looked up at the heart. It was nice, even though it had caused him so much pain. Such nice things for the day ahead. The place looked so plain, and there wasn't to much time. They had to get this place looking nice.
"I'm fine . . ."
He said as he took the bag and smiled. He pulled out some decorations and a large candy bar.
"Thanks." He said as he handed the girl the candy bar. He then looked at his decorations.

"Thank you" Madison said to him, "um.. I'm Madison. What's your name?"
At that moment a small breeze blew and the heart ornament wobbled a bit and then fell off. Madison, being pre-occupied by the candy and new friend did not notice and the heart hit the hard rim of the fountain! Madison rushed to the heart to see if any damage had been done and unfortunately there was! A large crack right through the center of the heart.
"GAAAH! How am I suppose to fix this! Ooooh! What am I going to do" she cried.

Sky smiled as he watched eher take the candy bar.
"I'm Sky." He said with a sweet smile.
He watched as the heart fall on thr fountian. He blinked as he wondered how such a thing could happen.
"..."
Was his noly reply as he saw the crack.
"Well we could go and try to find someone that can fix it?" He suggested.

Madison rushed around the town center like a headless chicken rushing from building to building trying to find someone with the ability to fix it.
First building: Bakery
... no good... baking it wont fix it..
2nd building: Butcher
He would just smash it up even more!
3rd building: Clothes store
Make it look funky! But the water would still seep out of the crack...
4th building: Pet shop
Cute lil familiars! buuut... doesn't help in this situation at all..
Madison sat by Sky at fountain and sighed.

Sky sighed as he watched her run around. 'If only' was a very well thing to be saying at this point. no thought came to his mind on how to get them out of this. Sure, he had some ideas, but they were not very well ones . . .
"Well I could um . . . melt some metal to feel the crack then freeze it up . . .?"

"How will you do that" Madison asked curiously, with her head tilted a little bit to the side. There wasn't much time left and there was so much to be done so she was willing to try any ideas.
